Fandom Unlikely Allies - A TESV: Skyrim Roleplay {Discontinued}

Iora had gone on her own mission once it seemed everyone was going to break up or at least the vampire and the Kahjiit went off to go do something she really didn't pay attention she had more important things to worry about than some silver hand attacks or something. She had felt tremors from a tower something was wrong with it, it's stone could be in trouble and well with how few were left another one going down was a bad sign. The tremor of course was unfelt by most as it hadn't happened yet it happened in the future and came back in time so yeah something was coming. The question was when would this be happening and what was going to happen.

There was only one thing to do investigate the snow throat tower, also known as the throat of the world. The stone of the tower was the cave or well bits and pieces of it so it was hard to break but really it was not impossible. Still when she appeared in the area of the cave that was below the mountain and inside, along with outside it . Iora walked though the cave the deeper in she got from the none existent entrance she got the more twisting things became gravity at points stopped working and that was a good sign power was being maintained what was not a good sign was the lava. Lava should not be here things were changing there was something about to boil over in the world.

The cave had become a twisting jumping and dodging course, rather than the winding branching path it had been when she last visited during the oblivion crisis. Still she slowly made her way in and checked the equations as they started to leak from the walls, they all checked out no corruption was apparent in them. Soon more and more metal appeared before she came to the heart of the cave in the center top and bottom of the mountain the heart of the stone and the source of its power which kept mundus a float.

The heart was a hole, a huge circular hole from which light shot up in an endless pillar of light, it was kept in check by flowing equations that worked on mathematic principals that would even stump her people with how they worked. Magnus had truly been an architect that was unrivaled when he had designed the world and it showed in the math. The heart pulsed and beat in an irregular rhythm, something was wrong but it was not deadly the tower was not alive, well it wasn't not not alive either. Still something was very wrong she would have to plant a few sensors here and there to figure out who or what was doing, there were a few stable rifts she could use to monitor and triangulate where the tremor would come from.

The assassin narrowed her eyes at the high elf. "Even if I cared, what makes you think I would tell you?" she spat. Roxii wasn't exactly on the "good" side of the spectrum, but she knew that these mer were extremists on the "evil" side. She wasn't going to just give out information that didn't concern her, especially when it included one of her contacts. That is classified information for only her and the contact to know. No outside characters involved is what they all agree upon.

Nedon gazed at Lillif with interest. "
Is that so? Well, perhaps we could pay your friend a visit," the slave-master said, the smile returning to his face. He gazed at the ex-slave before him, her body slowly giving into the paralyzation process. Approaching her once again, he looked down at her and, swift and quick, used the dagger she had stabbed him with to bash her in the head with the hilt, knocking her out cold. The lead wood elf gestured to one of the others to pick her up and they did, slinging her unconscious body over their shoulder. He looked at the altmer and smirked. "Let's go find this 'Ryu'."

"I'm going to take a breather, I'll be back later" Ryu stated before taking off into the forest for a walk. He needed time to clear his head. Before he had realized it, he had walked pretty far away form the group.

"There he is" Lillif stated motioning his head towards the boy from the tree he was in. Ryu had no idea what he was getting himself into and probably wouldn't till it was too late.

Dra'ziik didn't fall asleep. He didn't usually, especially at night on the road. Being Khajiit, he could go for long periods of time without sleep, and usually did when he was traveling. Ryu was leaving and Farkas was asleep. For sure, Dra'ziik could hear his slow, even breathing. To be honest, he never had anyone who had seemed to like him too much before, aside from Sapphire, and that wasn't in a romantic way. He decided to just go with it, life was short, and love even shorter.

Farkas drempt of blood and honor. He wished he could have fought a couple of the siver hand agents when the cat had saved- no helped, he'd be damned if he was saved by a cat- them escape. Farkas didn't feel right running from a fight, but, you win some you loose some. He couldn't wait to get to whiterun and see Vilkas again, he had a story to top any his brother had ever told. It would make sense to travel to windhelm first, that was the closest city, they could be there before high noon. from there, they could take a carrage to whiterun. Everything would be hunky dory. He rolled over and mumbled in his sleep. His brain was unusually active tonight.

Sarah smiled, she was happy. She was the happiest she had ever been in her life. She always thought no one would love a khajiit that was like her, raised by Nords. Yet here she was, falling in love with someone and that someone loving her back. She was always bullied about being a khajiit raised by nords and that was why she hated bullies. It angered her so much to see someone getting bullied. She was truly a kind soul.

The fire was getting low, and Dra'ziik stood up, gently pushing Sarah off his shoulder. "Fire will go out soon if Dra'ziik does not feed it more." He said, picking up a few unsplit logs. He picked up the woodcutters axe and swung down, his arm muscles working to drive the axehead down more. It was loud, and it woke Farkas. "Can't a guy get some sleep around here?" He mumbled, covering his ears. "This one could help. More hands make jobs faster." Dra'ziik retorted. "Nevermind cat." Farkas rolled back over, pulling out a deerskin and using it as a pillow. He was oblivious to the subtle flirting between the two khajiits.

Dra'ziik set the wood in a pile far enough away from the fire so it was acessable, but wouldn't get burned. He placed two logs on the fire and sat back down next to Sarah. She was an interesting person, she had long hair, but wore it down like the nords, not in the braids and weaves that were traditional to Khajiits. She also talked like a nord. Something that broke the predjudice barrier for her, apparently. To be honest, Dra'ziik was mostly a steriotypical Khajiit aside from the fact that he wasn't a theif. 'Well, anymore,' he thought.

Nedon and his small group re-traced their steps—leaving the bandit whose leg was completely torn apart—from when they first started following the assassin, which was when the dwemer-clad character appeared. It was somewhat difficult to miss an individual appearing out of thin air like that, so they halted their travels and looked on, noticing that their target was nearby as well. The bandits had tracked the young elf until they got her alone, which is where they ambushed her. Fortunately for them, she had also led them straight to the camp where the tenshi target resided.

It didn't take long to fall upon the one called "Ryu". Nedon gestured with a simple flick of his wrist for his bandits to spread out and surround the tenshi, similar to how they caught Roxii. The one who held the assassin, however, didn't join in on the ambush. He made sure to stay back and keep the captive virtually safe. Nedon rushed forward and crouched down out of sight, watching the tenshi carefully. He raised one open hand just enough to where his archer could see it, and his archer notched an arrow. Nedon waited a few, then abruptly clenched his hand into a fist. The archer let go of the poisoned arrow and let it head straight for Ryu.

Ryu didn't see the arrow heading towards his direction, till it was too late. He got hit.

"Damn it, I knew I should've been paying attention to my surroundings" Ryu complained.

"E pohh vbam wji xbihh pamgvoi lodehoo" Ryu shouted after making a few hand signs and Drovir was summoned. He let out a magnificent roar.

"Okay now that I know someone is there why don't you come out and face me and my companion" Ryu growled. He noticed his vision was getting a little blurry and he shook his head to remove it. That didn't work, that's when he knew what it was, poison.

"Drovir go find the others now" Ryu ordered.

"But-" Drovir started.

"No buts do it now" Ryu demanded.

"Fine but you better be okay" Drovir stated before taking off and landing where the others were.

"Ryu is in trouble" Drovir stated, loud enough to wake Farkas.

While this was going on Ryu felt his body slowly stop listening to his commands.

Dra'ziik jumped to his feet, unsheathing his sword. The blade sang as it left the leather. "Too much action in one day, Dra'ziik thinks." He said, kicking Farkas where he lay on the ground. "This one talks much of glory, have the muscle to back it up?" He sneered, holding out his hand. Farkas grunted, taking his hand by the wrist and hauling himself to his feet. "Betchya I kill more of whatever it is than you." Dra'ziik flicked his ears. "Khajiit accepts this one's challenge." He turned to Drovir. "Lead the way, dragon." Farkas reached behind him and pulled his skyforge steel greatsword from where it was on his back. "Indeed." He nodded. Dra'ziik jumped and caught onto one of the limbs of a nearby tree, swinging himself upwards. "Taking to the trees like a real cat huh?" Farkas remarked. Dra'ziik shook his head, his eyes glowing amber in the night. "This one is jealous. This one is slow." Dra'ziik took off, jumping from limb to limb.

Nedon stepped out and revealed himself, followed by his group. The poison was coursing through his bloodstream and he reacted to it much faster than the assassin had. The slave-master looked down at the tenshi with satisfaction. He now had one of the infamous angelians, their wings a sacred symbol among many. He could use this one to his advantage... The work he could make this one do with his wings, and being able to have power over an angelian. The possibilities were endless.

He broke out of his thoughts and barked harshly, "
Grab him. No doubt his spectral companion will alert the others." Another of the bandits grabbed the paralyzed Ryu and slung him over his shoulder. Nedon looked around his group and then smiled at Lillif. He rose his hand and did a circle-like gesture, a symbol for "round up", and then pointed off in the direction that had come from, silently saying, "Let's head out".

Drovir managed to guide them there too late, they were gone and with Ryu as well.

"No! They took him! They took Ryu!" Drovir growled. Drovir was mad, he would kill them. He would kill all of them as soon as he saw them. He would kill them! Sarah couldn't believe this was happening, one of her friends had been kidnapped. She didn't like this not one bit.

Dra'ziik smirked. "Hmm. Not gone, not gone. Farkas, can this one smell?" Farkas nodded. "Well?" Dra'ziik flicked his tail back and forth impatiently. "Oh, right." Farkas sniffed the air, then pointed through the woods. "They went that way." Dra'ziik sighed and continued through the trees. "Much haste. They move fast." Farkas stopped walking and cracked his neck. "Elves... You guys go ahead. I'll catch up in a bit." He bent double. Dra'ziik nodded, he was changing into a beast. Dra'ziik nodded at Sarah. "Stay to the shadows. We can see at night. They can't."

Nedon lead the group of bandits alongside Lillif, followed by the two holding the paralyzed Ryu and unconscious Roxii with the rest of the bandits trailing behind or on either side of the captives, watching their surroundings carefully. The leader knew that, if the tenshi's friends were alerted, they'd no doubt follow them and try to rescue him. What made it more difficult for the bandits were their sense of sight. Ryu's group consisted of two khajiits and a Companion, who was most likely a werewolf, which meant that they had three characters who were excellent in tracking and seeing in the dark. The mer, on the other hand, had senses which leaned more towards the nord-like senses: difficult to see in the dark, unable to smell as well, hearing is reduced. Fortunately, the elves had quick reflexes, so if they were ambushed by the angelian's friends, they could react quickly.

Thinking on their predicament, Nedon called back to some of his group just loud enough for them to hear, "
Some of you stay back. Cut off our pursuers and make sure they lose our trail." Four of the wood elves stopped and hid in the shadows, waiting for the small group of friends to pass by.

Ryu growled at Nedon, glaring at him. If only he could move then he would kill him. He didn't like this predicament and was planning to escape as soon as he was able to move once more. That's when Ryu noticed Lillif, he glared at him hatefully. He hated this predicament even more now. Change of plans, as soon as he was able to move he would kill Lillif.

Sarah stuck to the shadows intent on following the group no matter what. She would save her friend.

Iora had to limit her different forms of movement to just leaving the cave as she did not want to ripple more equations than the tremor already would. Hopefully the fabracants would help with the triangulation. Still she needed to make the devices and for that she needed a workshop and while she would prefer her old one at the forge she didn't have the key there anymore. She therefore needed to make due with what she could get what she could get was Raldbthar. That at least lead to black reach if she needed to get further down to Atherium.

The trip down was rather un eventful as far as visiting her people's ruins went just a few bandits, though she wasn't very far down. It was further down that things became complicated the Falmer had rebelled every Dwemer had known that and they had started a war. Iora had actually been involved in said war and her armor was meant to be used during it to finally put down that then to be used against the Dunmer , but that hadn't gone according to plan and now the Lamer had the run of the lower levels really they were such an ungrateful bunch. That was what made it so odd when her helmet displayed a life sign that was in the upper area's despite the bandits having all been dispatched, perhaps it was a captive of theirs that had escaped.

" Hello?" She called as she approached where the signs had been detected.

Dra'ziik sontinued creeping soundlessly through the trees. He discovered the group of four elves. His amber eyes glinted in the darkness, thinking of how to advance. Farkas was right, they were elves. One was leaning against a tree, two others were together, whispering quietly. Dra'ziik was able to tell what they were saying though. The last was off a bit, behind the one leaning against a tree, the only one that seemed alert. Dra'ziik stifled a chuckle. How Ironic that the most attentive one would be the first to die. He crept over him so he was standing just above the limb over the elf's head. He sheathed his sword with no noise, he wouldn't need it yet. He hooked his legs around the treebranch and swung down, grabbing him about the neck, snapping it with a slightly audible crunch, then flipping back up into the safety of the leaves. The bandit leaning againt the tree heard and tripped over the body of his fallen comrade, and Dra'ziik swung down once again and sliced at his unprotected throat with his claws, then was off back up in the trees. The elf clutched at his neck and staggered over to the other two, then with a gurgle and a couch, spraying blood, he was gone. The other two unsheathed their weapons, and began advancing on the tree which they thought Dra'ziik was in, but he dropped from behind them, both swords in hand, driving them up and into their backs, one for each elf. He held them there for two seconds, their strangled shouts (he had pierced ones heart, the others lung) resonating in the night, but not loud enough, not nearly loud enough, the buzz of the torchbugs and chirp of skyrims crickets drowned them out. Dra'ziik yanked out both swords with a small *shink* and wiped them clean on the outside of his thighs. Amber light seeped from his eyes, just small beads in the night, but huge abyss's of calmness and serenity to whoever might see them. "Kyne claim these ones." Dra'ziik whispered, sheathing his swords.

Farkas was now completely changed now, and trotted up to Dra'ziik, breathing loudly in a wolf-like fashion. He sniffed once, twice, then looked at the four corpses Dra'ziik had acounted for. He looked at Dra'ziik questioningly and began to gorge himself on one. Dra'ziik wrinkled his nose in disgust. "Four for Dra'ziik." He stated bluntly. Farkas gulped down a huge hunk of flesh, lifted his bloody maw to the sky and howled. Dra'ziik shook his head and made a shooing motion. Farkas growled and began sprinting through the woods on all fours.

Dra'ziik jerked his whiskered chin at Sarah. "Khajiit thinks it is no fun when silly elves cannot see. Let Sarah give them some light perhaps?" He cocked an ear to one side, wiggling his fingers in a 'magic' gesture. He was insinuating for her to set the woods on fire.

Slowly Ryme opened her eyes and let out a yawn. She tilted her head cutely at Iroa, wondering who she was.

"Hello, I'm, I'm, who am I?" She asked, she wasn't quiet sure what her name was or where she came from. She didn't remember anything. Now most people would be panicking at this notion. Though this wasn't the case with her, she was just curious and she seemed pretty laid back about it too.

"I don't think I remember anything" She stated more to herself than anything else.

~With Dra'ziik and the others~

Sarah nodded before she mumbled "qe wji hekjw al wji doki E pohh vbam wji xbihh leoi" with a hand sign or two and set the forest ablaze.

Iora had her helmet try to see if she was telling the truth, yeah that didn't work she wanted to include a lie detector feature but budget cutbacks always stopped her so she just had to guess if this was someone trying to play her or if she really didn't remember anything. She went with the latter after all things were great when you trusted people right up until you got an arrow in your back or a dagger in knee that really stopped people from being adventures.

" Do you remember anything at all, like how you got here or where here is or that this is a helmet and I am not a magically talking piece of metal somehow people make that mistake?" She asked.

"What's a helmet?" she asked, she truly had no idea what armor was even if she was wearing some. She looked very innocent and didn't seem like she could hurt a fly. She also seemed pretty confused to top it off. All and all she didn't seem to know anything.

" Tell me what do you remember?" Iora asked.

Iora went right to thinking that she had seen something she shouldn't and her mind had been wiped away and if so that meant this might get complicated, but that also meant she couldn't just leave a clueless girl… or woman in one of her people's ruins.

"Nothing" She answered honestly. She looked at the girl with curiosity.

"You look so cool" She stated, looking at the armor in amazement. She jumped up and started examining her from one side to another. She seemed very curious about the armor.

" Well you can still talk" Iora said walking towards the girl.

This would be a problem but well things like this didn't happen just by chance and well it hadn't but that was for a different reason than the reason Iora would think of it as for right now as she often didn't go beyond the godhead she just stood on the tower. EIther way Iora had always wanted a pet, well a pet that would live awhile no pet could live as long as Iora did.

" Well I can't let you wander in these ancient ruins full of traps and creatures and seeing as you have no name I shall call you Kathanch , or Kat for short" Iora said

"Cool! I got a name" Kathanch cheered. She seemed happy and was jumping up and down at that fact. Well that is till she realized something.

"Wait what's a name?" She questioned. Confusion was written on her face.

" I am Ioragzis Ynzagarn of the dwemer " She said as something of a test anyone that knew anything would think she was telling a lie about being a dwemer. " Call me Iora for short " Well whatever had happened the girl at least had armor , though how a Nymph got this deep she didn't know they didn't normally go far from their forest, she also wore a bit more clothing than most how odd. Iora loved it.

"Cool so that's what a name is something to identify yourself with" Kat stated. She was happy she knew that now. She was practically bouncing on her heels. She was also looking all around her in curiosity. She seemed to act just like a child.
