Mystery Man
So, since my old idea of making it into a slice of life RP didn't really pique any interest but I still want to do an RP using this setting let's try it again. It has been hundreds of years after the collapse of our modern-day society, now called the Age of Wonders. Most of the knowledge we once had is lost completely, but there is still hope, now is the time of a new and greater Renaissance and all manner of rediscoveries are being made. You will be playing as the students and professors of an acclaimed university who are going on an expedition to an Archeological dig site looking to uncover the mysterious past. But this is unlike the digs of our day, there are no airplanes or GPS, and the roads are not always safe or even well mapped in many cases. It'll be sort of like the Lewis and Clark expedition except that you will also be trying to uncover things about the mysterious past through archaeology.
TLDR if you ever wanted to imagine what it would be like to be an Archaeologist of the future trying to figure out how we live right now or go on an expedition like Lewis and Clark, this is for you. And also there is plenty of room for College Age kids doing shenanigans. There's also room for the Expedition goes wrong if you want it to turn into a kidnapped by pirates thing.
