  Born to a politician mother and a stay at home dad, it's no wonder that Annie is the... way that she is. From a young age, she was taught that being the best was what got you further in life. And so she did. She pushed herself to excel all throughout life, and she did. Things weren't necessarily handed to Annie on a silver platter, of course, and she had to fight pretty hard here and there, but it also wasn't super difficult.
  
  When it came to books and learning, Annie succeeded without really having to try too hard. School smarts came naturally to her, although what didn't come so naturally was relationships with others. Yeah, Annie was kind of a lone wolf -- not because she wanted to be, but because she was kind of forced into it.
  
  Of course, with her newly graduated from college... but with no real clue of what she wanted to do with her life, this whole coming to an island for a few weeks thing seemed like a great way to put off thinking about her future.

This juvinial delequint went to prison tons of times even as a kid. Hes rough and tough with a mighty grip and suprisingly good aim with almost any weapon. Great at escaping secure places and well… theres one small thing about him you should know. He likes men more than women. Hes gay. Tho he tries to play it cool and pretend like he doesnt care. He often has a need to be put in his place whether producers hafto yell at him or whether he goes back to prison.


He CANT swim. Yikes. And most definitely hates spiders. But he loves snakes. Asian food. And sea food. And is most well known in Asian culture and history thanks to prison history classes!


Backstory with more detail:
Neglected as a kid and his own father was a former prisoner. He grew up in a horrible house hold. He learned from his dad how to commit crimes the right way. Steal and all that. He even learned how to fight from his dad. He learned how to throw insults and even curse. From a young age he was troubled. Always getting into trouble at school. All the other kids hated him and well he hated them back.

School fights turned to street fights. Eventually turned to theft. And even robbery of banks. He ended up going in and out of Juvy from when he was 10 to 18 then he went to real prison for the first time when he was still 18. He loved it. Enjoyed it even. Always made fun and mocked the guards. Todays his first day out and hes already signed up for total drama island. Camp Wawanakwa.

    Personality: Dylan's emotions are always changing, she is just as likely to compliment you as she is to insult you. She can be just as sweet as she is sour, it all depends on how you treat her and those she cares about. Though it is in her nature to take care of others, she is also defensive and extremely sensitive. Her emotions often get the best of her, she can be your best friend or a giant pain in your side depending on the day.
    
    No one can stop her once she sets her mind on something, resolve and determination are her biggest strength. She is willing to do whatever it takes to defend the things she cares about. Dylan is a bundle of energy and almost never sits still, if she isn't planning some sort of activity she's hanging out with her friends.     Privilege is an understatement for the life Dylan was born into. The only daughter of a rich family, Dylan was spoiled even before she took her first breath. But contrary to popular belief, money doesn't always buy happiness. Dylan's father was never around, and the time he was home was mostly spent arguing with her mother. Despite the hostile relationship, Odette would never leave the luxurious lifestyle her husband provided and Yves was far too busy to entertain the idea of a lengthy divorce.
    
    Her father wanted her to attend NYU so that she could pursue a career in marketing at his alumni school just like him. Eager to please, Dylan studied as well as she could until she was accepted. Her father was excited, but Dylan didn't feel the same, desiring a career in fashion instead.
    
    Three years of college went by and Dylan worked as hard as she could to maintain her father's expectations, working as many internships as she could and studying at all hours of the night to pass her classes. By junior year, Dylan was increasingly depressed and her grades started slipping.

    Diana is a sort of simple person at heart—she’s bubbly, relaxed and go with the flow, not pausing to care too much about…just about anything going on around her, good or bad.
    
    She often cheerful, bordering on intense with a knack for blissful stubbornness that's so utterly frustrating. She's sarcastic, and wields dark humor like a blade, never taking anything too seriously on the surface. She's smart, and likes to analyze people. She has a horrible habit of not thinking before she speaks, and so many of her conversations are as hard to keep track of as she is.
    
    Tangents are sort of her thing.
    
    Her moods shift on a whim, dragging her from one point of attention to another as the wind blows. Hey, sorta like a dandelion seed. She tends to be impulsive, doing things in order of how much they interest her, instead of how important it is. Because of this, Diana is often late to places and forgetful of plans she’s made.
    
    She tends to be kind, and generous, never putting too much value on physical things. She’s had a lot taken from her in life, so she’s learned to separate her happiness from outside sources.
    
    Let’s not talk about her weed habits, though.
    
    Her tendencies to distance herself from everything in her own little bubble of high has led her to come across as insensitive and uncaring at times, causing the occasional rift in her friendships.

    Diana was born in SoCal to Henry and Nina Bishop. She doesn’t remember her mom at all really, as the woman died in a car accident when she was two.
    
    Being raised by a single dad was tough, but not bad. Her childhood was a relatively happy one, and Henry did everything in his power to make sure she was always as happy as possible.
    
    Without a female presence around while she grew, Diana was always the sort of kid to romp in the mud and go fishing with her dad, making friends with the boys at her school much more easily than the girls.
    
    She didn’t think that playing house and dress up was very fun—she’d rather be riding her best friend Carter’s four wheeler or playing kickball with her class.
    
    Her dad was her best friend, and the pair of them spent much of their free time out on the beach, glad they had the sand for a backyard. She learned to swim when she was only three, and began surfing—albeit under the careful eye of her dad—at the age of six.

    In high school, Diana began to more clearly note the absence of her mother. She went through breakups and the end of friendships, prom and graduation and all the tiny things…and she just wished she had a mom to talk to about it all.
    
    Her dad was great, sure, but he couldn’t give her advice when she had cramps, or boy problems or her dress tore.
    
    He was her date the the mother daughter dance her sophomore year. Nobody had been able to look away, their faces pressed with pity. It was as if people felt worse she was motherless than she did!
    
    Around this time, thanks to the woes of teenage-hood, Diana started…feeling different. Anxious, and sad. Her grades dipped—not terribly so, but enough that her father began to notice.
    
    He smoked her first joint with her. He’d started when her mother had died, he’d said, and it had helped him.
    
    He hadn’t thought she’d become so reliant on the plant. It was bullshit, what people said about weed not being addictive. It killed her anxiety and made her feel…less of everything. Happier. More content. Go with the flow.

    When Diana graduated, she opted not to go to college. Instead, she got a job at the surf shop down the street from her childhood home and worked, spending most of her free time out in the water.
    
    She traveled, too, vlogging them as she went and making some form of income while she did so, content to live the life she wanted. She had a decently sized audience, nothing crazy, and things were good, great even.

    Diana was back at home for a few months when she heard about the competition. She’d been bored, recently, and after years of binging every reality competition series available, this was just the sort of opportunity she knew she couldn’t give up.

    Will was born to Chris and Corinna Lawrence, in Boston. His childhood was relatively normal and mostly happy, though the relationship between his parents was always taut.
    
    They ended up divorcing when he was eight, and wound up with joint custody. This means much of his childhood was spent bouncing between houses on weekends and holidays.
    
    His parents lived in different school zones, too, so it was especially difficult, switching between schools when one parent had him for a few months.     By the time William started eighth grade, both of his parents had remarried, and his dad and stepmother had had a little boy. At first, Will was overjoyed to have a little brother, but…
    
    His mom had a daughter too, and then the twins.
    
    And slowly, so slowly…his parents moved on with their new lives and families, leaving a young Will in the shadows. Eventually, the walls of his parents’ homes became furnished with pictures of his new step parents and new half siblings.
    
    His dad got a dog.
    
    He brought that dog on more hikes than he bothered to play catch with Will in the front yard anymore.
    
    His mom stopped having the time to go to his baksetball games, busy with the twins’ karate classes. And his sister had ballet, after that.
    
    Will started staying out late, going to parties. He made as many friends as he could get. Slept with more women than he could count, bringing them on a few dates and inevitably ending things when he caught feelings.
    
    It happened every time.

    Will graduated and decided to try his hand at college, playing baksetball. He got in on a scholarship, he was popular and a first string starter for the team.
    
    But then, he lost his scholarship. His grades had slipped, he wasn’t applying himself in practice as much as he should have been. He’d been spending too much time partying, sleeping with people and drinking his feelings away.
    
    He ended up dropping out, and with nothing to do, he got a job as a manager for a local rock band. They weren’t anything too crazy—they got a decent turnout at shows, but they certainly weren’t AC/DC.
    
    The guitar player taught him to play, and Will realized he was good at it. Enough so that after a year or two, he quit his job and began playing on weekends at local dove bars, for a couple extra bucks.

My History

Amber Madden grew up an only child in New Jersey, but the privileged stereotype that most associate with that lack of siblings seemed to skip her. Even when her parents were together, they were never happy—her dad had a dead-end job that didn’t bring in enough money to fund her mother’s spending habits, which was always a topic for the post-dinner arguments that Amber was an unwilling ear-witness to through the closed door of her bedroom. Eventually, the two legally parted ways, and somehow, Amber got the short end of the stick: living with her mother. The woman had never been all that stable, but before the divorce, she was better at hiding it. She took the separation hard, turning away from the high-end stores and toward the late night bars and liquor cabinet, opting to drown her sorrows in the bottom of a bottle.

At least Amber’s mother was a happy drunk; alcohol made some people violent, but not her. It wasn’t until she was sober that she grew spiteful, hurling the nastiest insults she could think of at Amber, telling the girl she wasn’t good enough—that’s why her father hadn’t bothered to take her with him when he left.

So, Amber did what any responsible teen would: she kept her mother drunk, and when she couldn’t, she avoided going home altogether.

As Amber got older, she resorted to couch hopping, spending the night with anyone who had the space for her after a long day of school and the closing shift at the diner two blocks from her mom’s shitty, little apartment. It wasn’t much, but any freedom she got from the home life she didn’t ask for was a victory to some degree.

After years of using art as an outlet for her frustration, it developed into a hobby, which, as fate would have it, led Amber to Ink-182, a tattoo parlor in need of an apprentice. In that moment, it was as if everything fell into place. Finally, she could act as an asset rather than be regarded as nothing more than a burden upon people—her mother, who got stuck with her; her father, who didn’t want to bring her along to his new life; and, despite them never saying so, the people who’s houses she’d encroached upon for the sake of avoiding her mom’s sober fury.

At long last, Amber found her place in the world, and boy, would that place be better with 100 thousand dollars.

My Persona

Early on, Amber learned that she couldn’t always count on the people she should’ve been able to. The independent nature it produced is good, but the lone wolf tendencies…not so much. She keeps everyone at arm’s length, unwilling to let others too close for fear of the past repeating itself. She guards herself not for the sake of coming across as mysterious and unknowable, but rather as a form of protection—she doesn’t know if she’d be able to handle being abandoned again.

Her cold, sarcastic attitude is as much a mask as her pessimistic viewpoints are a way of ensuring she doesn’t get her hopes up. Deep down, Amber longs for deep connections, a sense of belonging that she never had growing up. She’d make for a great friend—passionate and willing to fight their battles for them—if it wasn’t for her own fear getting in the way. Not that she’d ever admit she was afraid, of course, lest her rigid air of confidence dissipate. It would take someone really brave—or maybe an idiot—to take on the task of breaking down her walls, but that might be what Amber needs.

      For as long as Milo could remember, he was bullied. He didn't know what it was about himself, maybe his hair was never put together, or maybe his glasses made him look stupid. Regardless of the why, Milo never seemed to make it through a week of school without being teased, tripped, stolen from, or blamed for something.
      
      He tried going to his dad, but he was barely ever at home. It was always just Milo and his mom, who never really seemed to like him. He would go to her with his school bully troubles, and she would tell him to grow a pair. He would ask her what was for dinner, and she would tell him to find something in the fridge. His mother was never really a stable source of support, just someone that paid for the roof over his head & drove him to school as a kid.
      
      But it wasn't all bad, you know? Sometimes his dad would be home and his mom would be in a good mood & they'd invite people over for a pool party, or they'd all play games together. Hell, Milo remembered the time when his dad came home from a work trip and the three of them took a spontaneous trip to Milo's favorite mall & his parents all but spoiled him. There were a lot of good time that Milo did his best to remember and hold on to. If he didn't, then his world would close in on him, his brain would work over time. His head would convinced him his dad wanted to get away from him & that his mother resented being stuck with a problem child like him.
      
      Of course Milo thought he was a problem child; wouldn't you if you were constantly bullied at school and your teachers never did a thing about it? Milo's mom picked him up from the principal's office on a regular basis and wouldn't speak to him for the rest of the day. Milo tried everything to avoid the bullies, to not have the school call his mother to come pick him up. He honestly tried, but nothing ever seemed to work.
      
      When Milo got to high school, his life exploded and he came to understand why his mom didn't like him. His father had claimed that he was off on another business trip and died in a freak car accident. When the officers arrived on the scene, they found Milo's dad in the vehicle with another man. Turns out that for as long as Milo's parents had been married, his dad had been cheating on his wife with his best friend from high school. As more and more about his father was uncovered, the more shocked Milo was at his own past.
      
      Milo's father, Gary, and his best friend, Randall, had been in a secret relationship since high school. In a sad attempt to cover up their relationship, they each got married. Gary married Milo's mother, Shelly while Randall married a woman named Janice. The four were like some peas in a pod, they lived down the street from each other, Gary and Randall worked at the same job, they were even all trying to become pregnant at the same time. However only Randall and Janice were able to become pregnant. Gary and Shelly were unable to ever have their own biological children.
      
      So then, you might ask, how did Milo come to be? Easy answer, Milo is biologically Randall and Janice's child. When Janice gave birth to Milo, there were far too many complications; The doctor waited too long to deliver, an incompetent intern gave her just a little too much pain meds; she didn't survive long enough to hold her own baby.
      
      Randall was broken; He may not have been romantically in love with Janice, but the two of them had grown immensely close to each other. They really did love each other, just not in the way that most spouses would. When Gary tried to bring Randall his son, he turned him away. Any mention or remnant of Janice, Randall didn't want to see. He begged Gary to take the boy in as their own, that Gary and Shelly raise Milo as their own. Randall knew he couldn't take care of the baby on his own, and he knew that Shelly had been wanting a child for as long as they had been married.
      
      Shelly was hesitant, she almost completely turned baby Milo down just like his biological father. From day one of her and Gary's relationship, she had been suspicious of her husband having an affair with Randall. Why did she marry him? Great question, you'd have to ask Shelly that. But she didn't want anything that would permanently give Randall an excuse to come see her husband whenever he wanted. Milo thinks his mother is a bit of a monster for this, but she told Randall that the only way she would mother the baby was if Randall promised to never see Gary again. When neither of the men fought back, Shelly has all of her answers, right there in front of her face, her questions were answered.
      
      Randall agreed to never be with Gary ever again, and it caused hatred to build and grow in Gary. Excuse after excuse popped up for Gary to be out of the house; business trips, running to the store, catching up with old friends. Shelly was tired, she didn't have the energy to fight with her husband (she also didn't have the opportunity as he was almost always out of the house). So instead of fighting with her husband, she constantly took it out on Milo.
      
      Milo grew up in a small town. Everyone knows the deal with small towns, news and gossip spreads faster than a wild fire. Before he knew it, everyone was talking about how Milo's dad was gay and he and his lover killed themselves in a car accident to be together forever. And that's when the bullying just got worse and worse. People saying he was gay, saying it was in his blood since his dad was gay, you know the drill. All of this for a 14 year old that is becoming their own person, it was kinda hard to deal with.
      
      What didn't seem to help Milo at all was when he started to feel attracted to boys in his school. Sure, he had had his fair share of crushes on girls, but never on guys. All the guys were complete jerks to him, except for one. There was one boy that showed Milo kindness and empathy through the death of his father. His name was Lucas, which Milo will always remember since his own middle name is "Lukas". But Lucas was the one friend that Milo had in high school, and he found himself completely enamored by his friendship.
      
      Milo never knew if Lucas was romantically interested in him or not, but he will admit that they spent a lot of time together, moreso than just regular old friends. This of course only added more fuel to the fire as now the other boys at school had more of a reason to call him gay and make fun of him. But Lucas reminded him that they weren't worth getting upset over. In fact, there was even one day where Lucas grabbed Milo's hand in front of everyone and said "So what if we're dating? You jealous?". And thus, Milo's entire personality was born.
      
      After Lucas stood up to the bullies time and time again, Milo began to adapt the same way of thinking. Nothing could stop how much other bullied him, but he knew that he could change how he reacted to them. So he played into their teases, he gave them absolutely nothing. In fact, the greatest accomplishment of Milo's high school career, was when he called out two of his bullies for being gay & having tried to jump into Milo's DMs ever since Milo came out as Bisexual. He felt no shame in it, especially with his friendship with Lucas, so he didn't care who tried to hit him up. But he would give a million bucks to see the look on their faces when he exposed how they showed up in his dms, hella thirsty.
      
      Milo and Lucas parted ways after high school, and Milo went out to a community college. School wasn't really for him, but he was going to take any opportunity to get out of his house. With it just being him and his gay self living with his mom who never really liked him, life became 10 times more miserable.
      
      The other downside to growing up in a small town is that everyone is very right leaning conservative. So when Milo came out to his mom as bisexual, his mom wouldn't stop shoving Christian informational pamphlets in his face & forcing him to go to church with her. Whenever they had family gatherings, his mom would always bring up how Milo's going through this "phase" of thinking he's a girl & it always ends with Milo back talking the entire family and getting thrown out of the house for the night.
      
      After a while, Milo just stopped coming around. He found some college "friends" to bunk with, slowly moved his belongings out of his mother's house and stopped talking to her. He didn't really need anybody but himself; well, and the people he was schmoozing off of. In fact, that's the biggest motivation Milo has for joining the show. If he can win the prize money, he can move out to wherever he wants, far away from his mother and family.
      
      Who knows, maybe he'll get to kiss a guy on television & then that'll really stick it to his mom.

      At his core, Milo is a very loyal individual. He hasn't had a lot of chances to prove that, but in his one major friendship, he showed he doesn't have a disloyal bone in his body. If he notices someone standing up for him or making an effort to befriend him, he'll remember that till the day he dies & will be as loyal as he can to them. But at first glance, Milo is just some nerdy dude who is always talking about things that nobody cares about. If you have someone else describe him, they'd describe him as a "little shit". Why? Because he's always instigating arguments, poking the bear, and starting fights wherever he goes. Milo tends to do that to try and get attention off of himself, get himself off the chopping block for people to make fun of.
      
      Deep down, Milo's very insecure. Those who have spent enough time with him notice how he always makes self deprecating jokes at some point in the conversation. On a vulnerable level, Milo will tell you the reason is that he wants to beat other people to the punch.   Hazel was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She was the only daughter of William and Emma Wright. A couple whose lives revolved around sports as her father by the time Hazel was born was still part of the Boston Red Sox and her mother was a sports reporter.   As the years passed, Hazel's name became well-known in the world of gymnastics winning championship after championship making her someone to look out for when the time for the Olympics came. You could almost say she was the golden girl from gymnastics as even the hardest skills looked flawless and easy when she performed it.
