Realistic or Modern Tiger Lily Ranch RP

Everyone who comes to Tiger Lily Ranch has a story. Most of it involves getting into trouble of some kind, whether it is running with the wrong type of friends, violence against your family or pets, or a mental illness. The point is that you're here because it's the last chance you have before your parents wash their hands of you for good. You don't know it, but your parents have been looking into programs that don't involve you going to jail or the mental institution. The police and your school counselor recommended you go somewhere without any distractions and triggers that would set you off. So your parents began looking online and found Tiger Lily Ranch. The first day of summer break you're told that it's the ranch or your parents won't have anything more to do with you. No more being bailed out of jail or released from the mental institution when your sentence is up. You try to fight it but there's nothing you can do. You're just a minor with no rights except for the basic necessities. So you find yourself in an car with your horse or on a plane flying out to Colorado where you'll spend the next three and a half months.​

The following rules cannot be broken.​

1. Write in third person only.
2. Be respectful of other players.
3. Do not sign up if you cannot be active on the forum.
4. Write a minimum of 1-2 paragraphs of 5-8 sentences each per post.
5. If a horse cannot do something in real life, it cannot do it in the role play.
6. No one-liners. Tag people in post.
7. Please make sure to use spell check, proper grammar and proper spelling.
8. No text speech or instant messenger speech.
9. Romance is allowed but please take it off the website if things get heavy. Fade to black as needed.
10. Please post your character's name and horse name at top of each post.
11. Horses can speak to each other but can't be understood by humans.
12. Never sabotage another horse and rider. It can cause the horse and/or the rider to be hurt or die.
13. No killing characters.

Rules that can be broken:​

1. Always take care of your horse before yourself. As a rider, your responsibility is to your horse's needs before your own.
2. No smoking or drinking anywhere on the grounds or in your cabin.
3. Always go out in pairs when riding. Never ride alone.
4. No fighting.
5. No sneaking out of your cabin after lights out.
6. No talking on cell phones or laptops after 10 PM.
7. Lights out is at 11PM. Ensure your horse is put in their stall and you are in bed before 11PM.
8. No riding at night.
