Piercing yellow eyes narrowed in rapt attention, as they beheld a shimmery figure approaching in the distance. At first glance, Kari believed the silhouette belonged to a child, but as it neared she took notice of its otherworldly gait; she knew it to be a fairy, one that maintained a crown of fiery red hair and held wings that shimmered like gossamer threads. Curiously, she followed her shape with her eyes and tilted her head imperiously at her approach.

As the fairy addressed her, her voice held a tone of familiarity with which Kari could not place. The larger woman arched her chin aloft, and scrutinized the tiny being before her, searching for any visible threads of recognition. When her mind failed to find them, her lips curled into a bemused sneer and she released an audible scoff that carried her disbelief. Kari remained a picture of stillness, her golden eyes unwavering in their steadfast scrutiny. The fairy's words seemed to drift upon the wind, as if unheeded by Kari's ears.

With a deliberate motion, Kari crossed her arms and the metallic clink of her armor punctuated the cloak of silence that fell over them. With a languid grace, Kari raised her hand and rested it upon her chin, her fingers delicately brushing against the smooth contours of her own face. “Hello, little fairy. I know much about your race,” Kari began in a low voice. I come from a place where your kind used to dance beneath the stars. Unburdened by the weight of the world, a carefree band of mischievous sprites—much like yourself.

In the background, a sudden, singular burst of applause echoed through the air. A fair-haired woman, her golden locks cascading like a sunlit waterfall, approached the fairy with a knit brow. Yet, even amidst the woman's lively entrance, Kari remained focused on the fairy and her own thoughts.

When my mother happened upon them, she thought your species to be useless, no different than moths.” For a fleeting moment, Kari's golden eyes seemed to peer beyond the present, her gaze fixed on some distant memory hidden beneath the present time. As her focus returned, the faintest trace of a sardonic smile danced upon her crimson lips. “But she learned of one particular prize unique to your kind, and she was fast to change her tune.” As Kari spoke these words, her voice, once melodious and captivating, underwent a transformation. The rich timbre of her speech took on a menacing undertone that seemed to charge the air around her.

She took a few of her men, and trapped these creatures in steel cages.” Her words painted a vivid picture of the captives’ dismal fate, their once resplendent wings now confined within the unyielding bars of their prison. “She kept them alive for a little while.

Gradually, she stole their essence—their dust. It only took a few weeks to reduce them to hollow husks, devoid of their sparkle.” As Kari relayed these words, her voice took on a sinister edge, each syllable dripping with an unspoken threat that hung in the air. Her eyes, cold and calculating, bore into the fairy's own as if seeking to pierce the very depths of her being. “What I mean to say, little fairy—is that you should be more careful about who you so casually impress upon. You do not know what value they may find in you.

Cecil returned her attention to the girl she was definitely intrigued. Potions that could alleviating flue symptoms or even cure hangovers. She could definitely invest in that when going a bit overboard when drinking at night from time to time. Though the small glass in her hand was actually an Eagle Eye potion, which increased her will to want to buy this little thing. If I got this for both myself and Ki, we'd be significantly more efficient at our jobs. It'll help with those recon missions too, giving them the upper hand. The Lioness made sure to hold onto the vial to purchase, knowing very well she was going to buy a few more in this unique shop. Hell, she made sure to buy that second vial for her sister ( Jackaboi Jackaboi ) "Listen little redhead," said Cecil as she turned towards the male at the counter "You should probably invest in learning some green magic to heal up your own little wounds there if you don't got any money." ( The Elder The Elder ) then Olfa was already offering to help the guy "See, look at that, free healing there. Bet that sounds like a deal to you, don't it?" The Beastwoman grinned.

Those Silvery-blue eyes shifted to Olfa "Like I said, I don't need to dye these silver locks. They're pretty as they are, much like Ki's blonde locks. I'd much rather invest in wigs than ruin what natural color I got." That grin on her face remained as she took a deep breath and spoke out towards her best friend "Ki I got some good potions for us already." Of course, the woman walked towards the door and peeked her head out as she had lifted her hand to show them to her from the door. Didn't want the staff to think she was stealing "Gonna look for a few more before bringing them back to our room, need anything specific?" always looking out for her little sister. Not having their parents did take a toll, granted they had the tavern to help them but having that motherly figure...Cecil tried to grab that role, give Kiara the guidance she needed to not be a horrible person, but also not be someone who was too easy to take advantage of. Sometimes she wondered if she was able to help Ki grow, or suppress her without realizing it. Cecil wasn't a mother by any means, but secretly hoped she got her sister onto the right path. Elof

Location (Group 1): On Deck

ElofPost.jpg

Elof took immediate note of the playful attitude leaving the man's face when he declared that they couldn't promise duel, with it being the only thing that Mikhail seemed to be after. There was frustration in his response, trying to play toward some insecurity that Elof didn't have. "Lose on battlefield, I die. Lose here, nothing." The declaration was made with no change in expression, no fluctuation in tone, no emotion at all. As the man sighed and continued to ramble on, dissapointed with the fact that he didn't have the chance to win a favor from the dead eyed mercenary, Elof simply tracked his movements. He watched Mikhail's eyes, as they glazed over to his weapons, spoke of confidence when he himself displayed little, mentioning petty tricks that he thought would defend him. Had he not been used to men like him, men who would try and provoke some kind of response at the lack of challenge, the mixed blood might have folded, but he was better than that.

Returning the blue-eyed man's goodbye with a simple wave, the young man unsheathed Jorn carefully. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, he imagined a foe. He chose the captain, as he often did, a large burly man with scruffy brown hair and a distinct rusted armor, one he swore he cleaned. Then there was the weapon, his flamberge. The large wispy blade was optimized for defense, and was something Elof always had trouble with when they sparred. Rushing toward the imaginary opponent with Mir and Jorn, he stepped to the side before attempting an upward slash, one to take advantage of his smaller frame. The illusory foe pivoted to the side before bringing the heavy blade down, but the mercenary quickly spins and used his leftover momentum to strike the face of the flamberge with his handaxe, pushing the edge just far enough to avoid getting his left foot cut off.

Rather than stepping back for a moment to breathe, Elof pushed toward his illusory foe, tucked his shoulder in, and slammed his body into the enemy. Within this range, such a large blade would be hard to use properly, and finished the 'fight' by slashing at the chest with both weapons simultaneously. Looking down at the floor, he sighed. "Captain would've been better." Just as he finished, another of their lot had come up on deck, this time another short woman who seemed much friendlier than the others he had met. As she greeted everyone, he returned her wave as well, now turning his gaze toward the large group gathering at the side. Maybe someone other than Mikhail would be more willing to come to blows with him. Sheathing Jorn and attaching Mir at his side, Elof went back to the mast to free his satchel before slipping toward the gathering.

Sh'Kashta's question about what Exception's kind considered their homeland was a deeper question than expected. Exception did not answer, instead simply staring. But Sh'Kashta could tell, that behind those eyes, Exception was deep in thought. Such profound knowledge she was sure to recieve soon. A great revelation, both to Sh'Kashta and Exception.

And then came a crushing distraction. She would have been upset at the interruption, had it been any other than friend Hubert-Mikhail. Further smothering any anger, he came seeking knowledge as well, questioning about the lion and woman that bumped into them at the festival. His hands made gestures, though Sh'Kashta had always struggled with hand speak. Fine details of finger placement were like the secrets of word tones to her.

Exception met Hubert-Mikhail's greetings, and gave the word for her tribe. "Giant" A fine tribe name, and fitting for one who might consider all the lands as homelands. Such space claims would indeed require a giant tribe. Sh'Kashta made a mental note to stay on the good side of any tribe members she should meet, as such far reaching control would surely have stories for trade.

Barely having time to close her mental records, the conversations continued on. Vidius, friend from the festivals, joined the crowd. Like Hubert-Mikhail, they also used two names. V-Vidius. A trait of surface dwellers, or of Dangerous Species Conversationalist, Sh'Kashta did not know. More and more questions, and less and less time to ask them. Shame she had spent so much time already trying to pry information from the less talkative crew of the ship.

"You both do not adventure often." Exception stated. A strange claim, as there were three present to the statement. Sh'Kashta knew she was not one to adventure. But Hubert-Mikhail and V-Vidius both had many adventures, surely. They were the ones to bring Sh'Kashta on this, her first adventure, and neither seemed to think it anything outside of their normal work. Perhaps Hubert-Mikhail did not adventure often, as V-Vidius was the one to mention this voyage. "Why the change of heart?"

"I wanted to explore and learn. Friend Vidius invited us to adventure, and it sounded like a fun thing to learn." Sh'kashta offered, being very helpful to the conversation. "Though, so far it has been mostly sitting and waiting. Do adventures always take so long to get interesting?"

Kiara Solarius

yande.re 972255 sample animal_ears arknights siege_(arknights) tagme.jpgAs they entered the shop, Kiara couldn’t help but pick up on the conversation being held inside. That tail of hers twitched, a happy notion at the sound of her new friend Olfa speaking. It was short lived as the words leaving his mouth only left her with a grimly darkening expression. A confirmation of the feelings and thoughts that plagued her which she knew to be true. This only hammered it in. Another nail in the coffin. Those adversely intrusive thoughts swirled around like a vortex daring to consume everything. Threatening to drag her under the crushing weight of them. I'll always be compared to her and I'll never be good enough. Next to her you’re nothing. Whilst the two in her party ventured forward further into the building, she herself did a 180 and found her way promptly out without a word. Kiara had plenty of courage to face foes or charge into battle but facing Cecil with the current look on her face would only instill worry within her sister. Something she didn’t intend to do willingly.

Outside she remained, gaze cast downwards towards the dirty ground. It wasn’t that she was looking at it but more so through it. The woman was swimming around in her own head, entirely oblivious to the world around her. That lower lip of hers became a fixation as she chewed and chewed on it. It was a distraction. Even as the taste of copper began to taint her mouth, she continued. Kiara halted the second she heard the familiar jingle of the bell that signified someone either entering or leaving. Clearly someone was leaving since nobody had made their way past her yet.

Peering over she caught the sight of her sister’s albino colored strands. Even while combating the more pessimistic thoughts that were currently beating her down, Kiara managed to smile. Seeing her sister did make her happy, that wasn’t disputable. Regardless of how she felt, it was a presence that brought her joy. Even if everyone preferred Cecil over her or knew her to be the stronger or better of the two, it didn't change how she felt about her sister. In the end, Cecil was her family and did her best to always think of her. Any bitterness wasn’t directed at her. No, it was aimed always at herself. The two seemed to be in a tug o’ war of trying to look after the other even if Cecil wasn’t aware of her presence in the feud.

Those honey soaked eyes of hers drifted across Cecil’s frame to rest on her face as a more cheerful look overshadowed the sullen one. Even her eyes seemed to brighten up in the process. “ Those look interesting. I’m sure you picked out some great ones. “ She beamed, exposing a few gleaming canines as she spoke. At the inquiry she simply shook her head which caused strands of her hair to spill past her shoulders like waves of gold. “ I think I’m good. They typically taste like crap so I only drink them when necessary. Thanks though! This is to cover the red head’s healing potion, if you don’t mind adding that onto our tab. Take whatever else you need for our stuff. “ Her fingers fumbled around her belt for the pouch of coins that hung there before she unhooked it and tossed it Cecil’s way.

You know how I am with strays. This one is extra smelly though.“ She admitted with a slight chiming but passable laugh before Cecil could interject, waving it off as just typical Kiara behavior.

The swaying of her hammock kept her lulled in a deep slumber. Nesta’s arms were perched behind her head, acting as a makeshift pillow. Her hair was pooled across her chest whilst some of the strands draped off to the side to hang like a curtain. A serene sleep, one that she truthfully only found when Nasir was near. Before he’d been hired on to protect her by her father, Ness didn’t have what one could call ‘peaceful nights’. She used to toss and turn, waking in cold sweats, always rising with a panicked look and wide eyes. As to why, Nesta could never recall or figure it out. Memories from when she was too young, buried deep and out of reach. That’s all she could assume. Possibly tied to why her mother had thought her to be safer on land, or rather on a giant vessel that was a pirate ship. If that was considered safer, Nesta couldn’t imagine what horrors might’ve awaited her if she’d remained in the depths below. When Nasir arrived, those terrors seemed to vanish. She was grateful to him but she had never been able to admit to the more stoic man what his presence did for her.

A weird sensation started to draw her from her sleep. She wrinkled her nose up as it began to tickle her skin and swatted lightly in an attempt to make it stop. Her fingers were met with fur and it dawned on her instantly who the culprit was. “ Scarf? “ She whispered with lethargy clinging onto the otter's name. She pet him once before both arms wrapped around the small creature. He was pulled into a loving inescapable embrace to which she nuzzled her cheek against his face. With her mouth hidden within his fur it was impossible to see the mischievous grin that had started to spread after a minute or so of cuddling with the otter.

Oh Nasiiiiiiiir. ~ “ She drawled out in her best sing song voice, words still encumbered by drowsiness. It wasn’t to be mistaken as listless. There was plenty of intent within them. Her calling out was followed by some rustling as she slid out of her hammock, placing Scarf down within it so he could curl up where her body had warmed it. Shortly after her victim would be assaulted, in a non violent way, as she squeezed into Nasir’s bed to drape herself atop his frame. “ Sending Scarf to do yer dirty work, I see. Next time ye should wake me up in the same manner. Aye, now that would be a pleasant way to awaken. “ She smirked at him shamelessly before tousling his hair about with a hand to mess it up.

Feeling the moisture within those strands made her frown slightly. “ Did ye have another nightmare? “ She asked, genuine concern showing in both her words and expression now. All the previous playfulness had dissipated. While Nesta was typically impish around Nasir she had grown to care for the man quite a bit over their time together. She knew about his bad dreams, the things that plagued him in his resting hours. Sometimes he spoke out in his sleep. Sometimes he lashed out. Most times he woke just like she used to, forcefully alert yet in disarray.

Want to stay below deck a little longer? “ She inquired, head tilting so that she could read him better. “ If ye need some time I don’t mind lying here with ye before we show our faces.

Valorie laughed as she approached with a pep to her step to the pair, only catching the last bit of what Carlisle had said "Oh? We have some evil on this ship?" her tone had dropped down a little bit to prevent anyone from over hearing as she found a spot to take a seat. If anyone had been wondering, her wings were hidden underneath her jacket. Where not only they were protected by any potential rain, but they kept others from wondering if she was another race other than human. After all, she did look like your average height human, which definitely plays in her favor. Looking between the two men with her caramel-colored eyes, she was trying to rack her brain for their names. Oh shoot what was their names...Didn't they both have the same name? Well not the same name but the same letter they start with? Val thought while pursing her lips in thought.

"If we do, no doubt we'd be okay. It's been a week so far and no one has been killed soooo... Doesn't hurt to keep an eye out of course but, I believe we're all here for the same reason. Or maybe other reasons unknown." She sat atop of a barrel, crossing her legs as her hands placed themselves atop of them. The big knight guy, what was his name... C...Cameron? No... Charles? No that sounds definitely wrong... Carter? It was clear that she was horrible with names, but Val really hated that about herself. It took a while for names to stick with her, especially when there was so many people in one spot. She'd learn after a few more da- "CARLISLE! That's it!" The Fairy shouted aloud and then realized she did not keep that within her thoughts as she froze for a second and glanced towards him.

Oh damn it. My "aha" moment didn't exactly stay internal. "Sorry about that," a laugh escaped her lips "I was just thinking and I just kind of let those thoughts out." If that's Carlisle then the Beastmen is uh... Ciran? Ciara? No that's a girls' name... Ciaran? Yeah that sounds right. "To give a little clarification, I'm quite horrible with names. The only reason I was able to remember roughly what your names were, was because they both started with a C." Rubbing the back of her head, she gave a shy smile with it. These were the times where she felt like she could shrink but knew that nothing bad would come out of it. After all, they looked pretty harmless.

Luca couldn't help but blush at Vi's remark. You would be lying if you didn't notice them, they were one of her most prominent features. "It's not my fault you wear something so revealing. Have some more respect for your body." Luca said, crossing his arms. While it was a great suggestion, he had his doubts that she'd be able to fit into anything else. There was a small part of him that wished she wouldn't.

Luca's face turned to one of frustration as Rina cheered on Vi into a fight. The last thing he wanted to do was fight. Being on a boat with uncivilized people was going to be the end of him. "Nobody is fighting anybo-" Before he could finish Vi had grappled him, unpleasantly smashing her head into his. He quickly found himself on the ground, hand covering the bruise on his forehead. Not only did he get thrown around, he'd now have to walk around with this bruise on his head. "You dumb oaf!" Luca slowly got up, clearly in pain.

"I'm not playing your stupid game." He said, walking over to retrieve his pouch. He didn't have many books in it, but he'd rather give one up then deal with them. None of his books fit what reading level he'd consider her at, so he was just going to give her the simplest one. "Here." Luca said, tossing a book to her. "Enjoy reading time." The book he tossed to her was about the history of geography. He didn't expect her to understand it and he didn't care. He just grabbed his pouch and walked away towards the middle of the ship. He'd find something to do that didn't involve getting himself thrown around.

Luminita Spatafora

Nita quietly scrutinized Kari's body language as she told the tale of her mother's sinister experiments on fairy men, the lengths she went to extract that precious dust. Such vile acts turned the paladin's stomach. While it was an overall good lesson for the lively audience, Nita detected a bit of edge that suggested this lady had her fair share of morbid interests in addition to unique experience.

"Many of your mother's activities are illegal and unethical by most standards," she started. Her tone was matter-of-fact, as though Nita withheld her direct opinion, a profound professionalism shining through. "At the end of the day, though, we have not the power to choose our family. In my house of white knights, she would be scorned with many titles of varying accuracy—barbarian, butcher, poacher, monster... just as my own brother was labeled a whoremonger, a drunk, and a disgrace. But it matters little what those outside your family say; what do you call her?"

As Nita probed Kari to gauge her moral alignment, she glanced up at the meaty thud of a headbutt. Luca had flopped onto the deck, probably seeing stars after that hefty blow. She knew how he often condescended people of lower intellect than he, so it came as little surprise when he received his comeuppance in the form of physical violence. "My word... I saw that coming," she commented flatly. His just deserts neither appalled nor entertained her. It was simple karma, the most natural, neutral of phenomena.

Rina folded her hands behind her back, continuing to rock back and forth on her feet. A giggle escaped her lips as Vi called out Luca and his cute pale cheeks got all red. Ooooo He got caught looking~ The Dwelven female thought. Though, he wasn't wrong, Vi did wear just a strap to keep those puppies in line and secure enough. Lowkey she wondered how that strap didn't just pop upon even the simplest of movements. It seemed Luca didn't enjoy her egging on because he went to protest before being simply manhandled by Vi herself. With widened cherry-colored eyes, she watched that headbutt and watched as now Luca was on the ground. Okay I was not expecting that at all... Geez Vi he's a twig, you probably deadlift houses and could crush this man with a bicep. I'm surprised you didn't send him through the floor with the headbutt... This was a thought she kept in her head, not wanting to add more into the fire, knowing damn well that she dug herself a grave the moment she instigated a fight. Luca was the captain, which meant he could probably throw her overboard if he felt so inclined to do so. Her ears dropped a little I really hope it doesn't come to that.

Luca then got a book from his bag and tossed it to her without hesitation before walking away from the pair. Looking back at Vi, she spoke to her "You know, I didn't expect you to outright just grab the guy and toss him around like that before bonking him...I kinda feel bad." Challenging someone didn't mean go at them without warning...Unless you were a Beastman. They were the rowdy ones of the bunch so there's no doubt about it that she went at it that way because of their customs. "Luca! Come on! It was just a little bit of roughening up! I know it may have been a much but just lighten up a little, have some fun." Rina jogged after him, reaching out to grab his shoulder. Rina may regret it, but she was gonna find out if she should or should not. "Just trying to pass the time...That's all."

Alix awoke from his slumber, slowly rising from the bed. The bed wasn't his, in fact, it belonged to an elven woman who was currently sleeping beside him. Looks like I'm overstaying my welcome. They had a good night and it would only be one good night. The last thing he wanted was to be anchored down. Alix slid off the bed and quietly put his clothes on. He didn't want to stir the fair lady, a yelling match wasn't the best way to end things off. He managed to get his clothes on without waking her, grabbing his guitar. Just as he made it to the doorway he heard her start to stir. I need to hurry out of here. Alix quickly made his escape out of the home and onto the street. He didn't stop his quick pace until he turned the corner onto another street.

He let out a sigh of relief and stood still to calm himself down. He slung his guitar onto his back and began walking down the streets of Altair. The morning was a rather pleasant one, making the walk all the more enjoyable. He would occasionally wink at any pretty girls that walked by, making them giggle. He had a few items he needed to obtain today and luckily he made of enough money this week to not have to worry about the prices. He stopped at an incense vendor. He was quite a fan of incense, allowing him to calm down and make his own home smell delightful.

He took his time smelling the different incenses, stroking his chin as he tried to figure out which one to buy. "Hmmm... I think I'll get this scent. It reminds me of home." Alix said to the vendor, retrieving a few coins from his pouch and placing it in his hands. He slid the incense it an empty pouch and waved the vendor good bye as he began making his way to a new location. His next stop was a potion store. He needed a special potion that helped him in daily activities.

After a short walk, Alix stopped and looked at the sign of the store, The Crow's Cage. "This seems like the store!" He opened the door to the potion shop and was greeted by the party of people inside. "Woah, didn't know we were having a party." He said aloud, noticing the presence of a large bear. That bear looks like he could snap me in half... that's kinda hot. There was also a lot of pretty faces in the room, though Alix choose to keep his flirting under control in this moment of time. He walked past the unfamiliar faces and towards the counter, resting his hands on it when he finally reached it. His eyes landed on Silva, assuming she was the owner of the shop. "Hello there! I'm looking for a potion that makes you last longer in bed." Alix asked with a smile, his confidence unwavering. He was hoping the shop would have something like this, he wouldn't have to run around the city to find one.

Cecil wasn't sure why her sister would be walking off. In fact, she expected her to come right to her side and hang out with her. The once gloomy-ish face had disappeared and was now seeming to bright up as she stared Something's on her mind. She's looking at me like if I just showed her a large lollipop from the candy shop. The Lioness caught her sister's pouch and looked at it compared to her own I'm going to put some more coin in here for her. Ki should know I wouldn't ever want to spend her money. Offering her own smile back to her sister, she nodded "You always had a heart for the unfortunate. That's what I love about you." Another trait that Cecil wasn't able to perfect like Kiara did. The Silver-haired Beastwoman wasn't always kind, but many people seemed to think so despite her sister showing much more of a heart.

Cecil's heart was smaller and as much as she hated to admit, she liked being a bounty hunter because it gave her the thrill of the hunt, to kill her target if it so required... It satisfied something in her that she wouldn't ever tell Kiara. No one ever realized that about her and always seemed to overlook the one person that mattered out of the two of them. "Well too bad about those things inside. I'm getting them so we have them. They have some interesting ones so I'll get those and we'll see what will help us on our adventures." Letting out a hearty laugh, she stashed the bag with her own and pointed at her for a moment "You and I will sit down later on, okay? You think you're so good at hiding something from me and it couldn't be more obvious." Being with her day and night, every single day, cuddles in the morning, cuddles in the evening...That bond is strong as anything "I'm telling you if it's a boy that's got your tongue...Ohohoho just you wait till later."

That finger of hers wagged towards Ki as another red-headed man walked by and exclaimed that this was the store. With a raised eyebrow and a glance over, he walked by and inside "Aaannnyyway," Cecil looked back towards Kiara "I'm going to head back inside before they think I'm trying to steal these things. Let's meet up later by the Braze'n'Bold okay? Gonna need some food by then anyways." Giving her a thumbs up, the Lioness rushed back in "Sorry about that, I promise I wasn't stealing your potions." Looking at the two vials, she knew that she was going to get a few more. Ears twitched and then slowly moved towards any noise she picked up on, especially a request from the redhead who walked in. Eyebrows furrowed close together as she was sure she misheard him "What?" Cecil muttered to herself as her lightly-colored eyes looked at the man before looking at Benji, Olfa, and Toshi "Did I just hear what I thought I heard?" This was definitely a question to those who gathered around in a group.

I did not just hear him say "That makes you last longer in bed"...I've never once in my life ever heard someone so straightforward ask for something like that. Especially in front of people this way. Maybe he's just a dunce and doesn't know how to use english right and means to sleep longer. Hoping that was the case, she grabbed her coin pouch, talking to the stinky redhead: Toshi "Hey, smelly one." Pulling out a gold coin, she flicked it toward him "Take this. For a bath and whatever else." closing her pouch back up, she secured it to her belt. "From Ki." Even though that coin 100% came from her own pouch. Maybe her assumptions were correct about her sister, maybe she took a liking to the Stinky Redhead.

His outstretched hand remained pointed toward the half-elf expectantly, yet Mikhail’s amiable gesture remained unreturned. The half-giant regarded his outstretched hand with a cool detachment; she made no move to reciprocate the gesture. In response, his eyebrow twitched ever so slightly. Though he endeavored to maintain an air of warmth and amiability, the unexpected rebuff momentarily pierced the veneer of his cordiality. As the realization of Faraine’s refusal settled upon him, Mikhail let out an awkward laugh, a stilted, hollow sound that held the discomfort he felt. His outstretched arm retreated to his side, the motion almost hesitant.

When Vidius approached and offered a courteous nod, Mikhail reciprocated the gesture, his face alight with the warm glow of camaraderie. With a renewed effort to regain his composure, Mikhail turned back his attention to the towering figure. "I've met many giants," he said, his voice infused with a touch of flattery, "though none quite as stunning as you—well, other than V, but you get used to him eventually." While he spoke, Mikhail removed his arm from around Sh'Kashta's shoulders. As he did so, he turned his attention to Faraine and offered her a playful wink.

When the giant chose her next words, Mikhail could not ignore the skepticism that was laced between words. V was not known for his subtlety—perhaps the pair looked out of place. With a daring gleam in his eyes, Mikhail held Faraine's gaze, as if challenging her to rebuke him. "I am an endangered species conservationist," he declared, the conviction in his voice resolute. "And V is my assistant. So yes, we do not often leave our place of study."

Mikhail expounded upon his fabricated tale. "We have our sights set on venturing into the unexplored lands, seeking out undiscovered species of animals that have remained hidden from the world," he professed, his voice brimming with enthusiasm.

Mikhail's visage took on a smug air, his features assuming a self-satisfied expression as he regaled Faraine with yet another partly-fictional exploit. "Just recently, with the help of Sh'kashta," he declared, his voice laden with a touch of bravado, "I managed to save the life of an endangered bird, a creature so rare and exquisite that its very existence seemed to defy the natural order."

"A bit more honorable a trade than coin chasing, wouldn't you say, mercenary?" Mikhail teased, a knowing glint in his eyes. The scuffs and dents that marred her light armor spoke volumes about the battles she had faced, while her stoic attitude hinted at a steely resolve forged in conflict. He needed to ensure that Faraine knew that she was not the only one willing to draw conclusions from another’s appearance.

My Lucky Day
After listening to the worker, Toshiro was getting slightly annoyed with having to “wait” even more. There was no telling how long this professor was gonna take. He’ll be better off asking someone to buy it, healing himself, or just getting the professor out of his study. She did say he was in the back room. The wheel in his head was turning between those three options and it landed on getting the professor. So he simply agreed and planned to head to the back room. He turned to the white haired lioness who suggested he learned green magic. “Yeah you’re right I should.” Which surprisingly he does, the process just requires him to mediate, which he struggles with and has no desire to do at the time. That’s why he needs the potion, it’s simpler. Luckily for him the nice furry bear decided to offer his aid. Her turned to Olaf and grinned a bit. “Well Olaf, let’s see what you got.” He never expected a beastman to be adept in green magic. All the other beastman he’s ever encountered all used red magic. Guess it’s a first time for everything. “I’m Toshiro by the way.”

He stepped a bit closer towards Olaf and held his arms wide out. “Aight Olaf, let’s get this healing session started. Me and Kaira gota shit to do.” He said before looking around for her. A concerned look showed up on his face as he realized she wasn’t inside. Now where did she run off to? She better not left with my job. He thought to himself, before looking back at Olaf. As Olaf did his thing, Toshiro began humming a simple marry tune to help pass the time a bit. As he did Cecil left and shortly after another individual entered the shop.

Toshiro watched as he walked over. A red head just like him, only his hair was much longer and had a couple of white streaks. The item he asked for cause Toshiro to chuckle a bit. “I never expected to hear something like that today. I didn’t even know shit like that existed. What kind of potion place is this?” He chucked once more before turning to Cecil. As he noticed she flicked a coin in his direction, and he stuck his hand out catching it. Looking at it, he examined the chin and rubbed his thumb against. Realizing what it was, and who it came from, he instantly left the Crow’s Nest. “Olaf thank you!” It didn’t matter if Olaf was done healing him or not. He was feeling better so whatever Olaf has done worked. He’s on a mission. His intentions were to hunt down Kiara and thank her immediately. As he left, he looked around frantically before he realized she was standing off to the side. “Kiara!! Thank you for the gold coin! ” He yelled out to her. “Me and you” He says pointing between the two of them, as he walks closer. “We’re best buddies now.” He says as he places his arm around her shoulders. “Your jobs are my jobs and my jobs are yours. Whadda say??” It’s not wrong to say that Toshiro doesn’t get much hand outs. Let along a gold coin. So when there’s moments like these, he’s very grateful.

While all of you are having a wonderful time, the weather this morning is seemingly a little bit bothersome as the clouds start letting a light drizzle down on the upper deck. What a wonderful 8am this is, isn't it? Oh, what's that? There seems to be a little bit roughened waves coming through. Nothing to horrible, though, couldn't be said for those who are seasick already. They might be adding some spice to the ocean as the boat rocked a little bit more than usual. Olfa

Olfa smiled as his charity case walked off, seemingly satisfied with the money and healing he had provided him. Toshiro. Nice a name as any, but he wasn't so sure why he kept calling him Olaf, did he pronounce it wrong? Maybe he didn't hear him. Not sure, but it seemed too late as he walked out of the store, the open door bringing in the smell of the thick rain and clouds of the street. It smelt good, how Olfa loved the rain. Its sweet, somber embrace and smell left no wonder on how the world was so beautiful and why water was the center of life. It never ceased to impress Olfa, its complexity yet simplicity. The duality of nature in its chaos and order. Even if it was for a split second of enjoyment, Olfa blanked on fully understanding what the new entry said for a moment.

The statement itself wasn't something Olfa hadn't ever heard, hell even a few villagers had asked such a request for a humor or concoction that allowed them to last longer in bed. It was more the fact that it had came from this man, in public, like it was just a simple request for a night vision potion. It seemed, laughable? Olfa could help but feel as such. He chuckled at first but then began to go into full out laughter, even if he was adjacent to the customer, he couldn't hold it in. Something about the mans embarrassing request made him laugh, but also the fact that he needed it made it funnier. While Olfa has never laid with a woman, he sure knew he didn't need a stamina/endurance potion for an arm wrestle. It was astounding how the man would even need it, it cant be that bad right!

"You know" Olfa took a moment to recover his breath and voice after laughing and wheezing, almost hysterically. It was totally out of his control before, just now simmering down to break in a comment in his storm of laughter. "You sure ask for some funny requests little man. A stamina potion for laying with your woman? HA!" Olfa had began laughing again, this time turning away and shaking his head as to not laugh in the man face. It wasn't meant disrespectfully but it truly was almost impossibly funny to Olfa. The whole concept seemed, absurd.

The Salamander
Ban "Benji" Mido
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again.

Only this time, more wisely.
Benji simply listened and observed as he stood in the doorway, arms crossed over his body as he leaned against the door. Staying out of the way for any passerby's while able to observe both the outside and inside of the establishment, Benji simply nodded in return to all who greeted him. A small smile remained on his face as he did so. Looks like Toshirio, as the smelly swordsman had introduced himself, would not be the only more talkative individual of the bunch. Everyone seemed to settle into a conversational tune of their own making, and Benji was content to watch and keep most of his thoughts to him.

Although, a voice he heard but had not seen began to speak. Benji tilted his head to the side and leaned forward, peering around and past Olfa's large frame to find Silva. The apprentice of Crow, if he was not mistaken. His small smile grew a little. A little silly of him to miss greeting her.

"Hi, Silva. Didn't mean to miss you in greeting,"
he sent a small half-wave in her general direction as he spoke.

His eyes flickered between her and Toshiro as they shared conversation. Cecil had her own opinions, of course, to add, but his attention was far more drawn to the backroom door, following where Silva's eyes were looking to find and hear laughter behind the door. A small frown fell upon his face. What was the reckless man up to now? Benji continued to hold the door open, in case there was a sudden need to leave the establishment--both for the others and for himself.

Love potions. Regular potions. Hair dyes. Wigs. Crow's peculiar nature. Bartering for potions and money. A few of the myriad of topics spoken as Benji kept to the background, nearly unmoving except for the steadiness of his chest rising and falling in sync with his breath. His thoughts on each were simple, if anyone cared to ask, but he kept quiet as he felt airing his own thoughts would be redundant and slow conversation down. His eyes wandered over to Olfa as the bear beastman offered a hand in healing Toshiro. Good man. Well, good beastman may be more accurate, but the young tavern owner and former medicine man took notice of Olfa's kindness. Perhaps a small pat on Benji's back was in order for again being careful to choose his friends and allies, and then be promptly rewarded for his careful perception of people. A small shine of approval danced in his eyes before looking back over to the one person who had kept mostly quiet.

Kiara.

He observed the flash of her grim expression cross her face before even quicker turning around to walk outside and simply stay outside, away from the rest. The former medicine man could only harbor one or two guesses as to her sudden shift in mood and quick turnabout. For a few moments, he let her be as he kept eyes on her. Would she leave? Would she walk away? He'd give a moment's pause before stepping in. The others could take care of themselves and carry on with their conversation, but this was twice in one day where Kiara's mood had soured.

And just about when he would leave his station against the door, someone crossed his path and approached Kiara. Benji's eyes widened a little as he stopped himself suddenly from adjusting his weight and stance away from the door. Silver locks flashed across and past his face before approaching Kiara. And Benji simply watched. Maybe her sister would have better luck than him. It was sometimes best to not rush these things as much as it may have been best to jump right in and ask what was wrong.

And, while the blonde beastwoman's eyes brightened up, Benji could see right through them. Yes, she was happy to see her sister, but this was an emotion that overshadowed or replaced another. All he had to do was look at her lips. Bleeding. She had been chewing on them the whole time, wasn't she? Something was on her mind and it was causing these particular mood swings or abrupt changes in mood, even more so than what should have been typical. Anyone who knew medicine and was worth their weight in silver knew that healing sometimes required fixing what was inside the mind and soul, rather than purely physical.

There must be some kind of stressor that was applying extra pressure on her. Maybe it had to do with her line of work, but he would not have it keep weighing on his friend. Something was wrong. While Kiara and Cecil had their little heart to heart, his head turned back to the conversation inside, although he was paying partial attention to what was happening inside and more so on what was being said outside the store. Best to pretend he was not hearing anything, and, besides, he had a rather good poker face. One needed it when working in medicine or performing surgery, beyond the barbaric nature of sawing off limbs. Can't have people panicking and such.

His eavesdropping was briefly broken by the sudden arrival of someone Benji did not at all recognize. A raised eyebrow and an amused expression crossed his face before fading away into an exhausted sigh,
"A lot of people ask for a potion to last longer in bed. Why does no one ever ask for a potion to last shorter in bed?"

A comment meant to ease everyone's confusion, one of few he would make right now inside the store. What people did in the bedroom was their own business as long as both parties were happy. Although, there was a little concern for the man regarding that particular brew he was asking for. While he would not say it out loud as he knew Silva would give him no favors for it later, Benji knew that--with Crow at the helm of these potions--these potions may have certain side effects if taken. Not all of them, or else the pair may be put of out business, but the man's reckless nature made Benji wary about the "potency" of these potions, in more ways than one. Especially if brewed improperly. He felt it only a matter of time.

At least Silva was here to keep the man honest and careful, although he feared that may not be the case with her out here manning the storefront and Crow being behind closed doors in his chemical laboratory.

Braze'n'Bold. The name crossing Cecil's words brought him back to listening to their conversation with better concentration. So they planned to eat there later. Good to know in case he needed someone there to keep an eye on Kiara. He feared she was not yet done with her outbursts, and he did not want anyone or her getting hurt because of it. His eyes watched Cecil take the gold and walk back in, before switching to her own funds to pay for the smelly swordsman Toshiro. A small hum danced in the back of his mouth as he watched her claim it was from Kiara. Siblings, always covering for each other.

Not that Benji knew much about that other than he knew if he ever had one, he'd treat his sibling well.

Red hair passed his vision, this time Toshiro's instead of the new customer, and Benji let out a light scoff of amusement as his arms remained crossed. His eyebrow slightly raised as he tilted his head to the side, eyeing both Kiara and Toshiro. His eyes flicked back and forth between them once before settling on Kiara. He sent a quick glance to the arm around her shoulder before returning it back to her.

"Well, he's certainly friendly, isn't he?"
Benji simply remarked before casting his eyes upon Toshiro,
"And you do know you still smell, right? You might want to remove that arm and put a little distance, considering beastwomen such as her have a sensitive sense of smell."

As the rain began to pour down, Benji simply outstretched an arm to catch a few drops inside his hand. A small smile fell upon his face as he felt the cool water trickle along the palm of his hand. It felt pleasant, to put it simply.

"Hm, you could save the gold coin and take a shower out here. If you're not too shy, that is."

His last remark. After all, it was not best to tease the pair too much or have anyone think all he had to offer in conversation were jokes and witticisms. Instead, as his attention remained on the pair, his mind began to think of how the day might go and what to plan. Perhaps he should offer the other's breakfast at the tavern while sorting out Toshiro's entire situation. He especially felt bad for the Silva woman as she might not have eaten this morning because of Crow.

In that case, maybe Kiara has not eaten this morning either. Not to mention Toshiro if he had no funds until now, although he'd need a bath first.

"Let's get this bath business sorted quickly, so we can all eat some breakfast over at the tavern. If any of you are hungry, that is,"
Benji nodded once in their direction before turning his head a little and called into the store towards the others,
"The rest of you. Any of you had anything to eat this morning? Silva? I hope you haven't forgotten to eat because of Crow's shenanigans. And if you did, come on down. If Crow protests, tell him there's a special discount."

His head tilted in the woman's direction with a knowing look. That eccentric alchemist better not interfere with her dietary habits. As hard work as running a shop may be, t was harder managing Crow and neither should come before eating the right meals.

Logi Laeblom

Location: The Second Frontier (IE Ship 2. Ship still has to have a name)

Logi waved to the white haired Luminita as she approached. Logi would have addressed the woman's concerns were the fairy not focused on her mark. Said mark's response lined up with her whole- well her whole everything. The speech was very well put together, articulate without feeling rehearsed. The magic display was nice too. Logi didn't recognize the glowing figure, though she did recognize the deeds Kari spoke of. "Ruide." The fairy scoffed, meeting the woman's unwavering gaze with her own smoky irises, the playful gaze replaced with an intense glare. Logi couldn't possibly match the sinister woman's daunting visage, but that didn't matter. All that was important was the 'little fairy' didn't back down in the face of the intimidation attempt. Cuid'ae juist tellt me tae feck off, whitoot jabbin aboot yae Humie saepremaecest Maw. Whitever 'value' yae see anyway, Ah dinnae care. Huv a go at me, ah dare yae." Logi had all but dropped her intense gaze at that point, leaning back as sun began to light her face. She grinned at the intense woman, a playful glint in her eyes. "Steal mah essence," she said the last word mockingly, taking on Kari's cold tone as she spoke it. "Force me tae be yer slave, or whiteur yae freaks dae 'n yer circle jerk ah' ae cuilt, ah forget th' name. It'll be fun tae watch ya try." She remarked flippantly, breaking eye contact and turning to Luminita.

"Logi, by th' way. Mah name that 's. Since yae asked. Dinnae bother whit the show off," Logi jabbed a finger in Kari's direction, still sat on the railing beside the serious woman. "Ninetae Nine percent chaence lass' just a bigoted lacky. Dodgy Shite," The redhead didn't actually think that. Not fully at least. Were she still apart of the super racist jack off's, she wouldn't be on this boat. She wouldn't have been in Fiora at all in the first place. Logi had just made the comment in an attempt to push Kari's buttons. It was important to throw a wide net, after all.

Then, there was the crack of Luca getting utterly demolished, causing Logi to whistle in respect of the... very large beast woman. It felt good seeing the stuck up bastard hit the floor, especially as he ran away with his tail between his legs. Figuratively speaking of course.
"Beauty, that. Would'nae mind seein' it again." She remarked, watching the scholarly slug as he scuttled off under whatever rock he crawled out of. Figuratively speaking, of course.

Vladimir Vârcolac
The Deck, At Sea
Vlad stood alone on the corner deck of the ship, gazing out at the tranquil waters that surrounded him. The gentle swaying of the ship, coupled with the soft morning breeze, suprisingly had a calming effect on him. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath of the salty sea air, feeling the tension in his muscles slowly dissipate.

As he opened his eyes, he noticed the clouds above beginning to break apart, allowing the early morning light to filter through. The sun had just started to rise, casting a warm golden glow across the horizon. Vlad couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over him as he took in the beautiful sight before him. He may prefer the mountainous and tundra regions, but it's beginning to grow on him.

Despite the peacefulness of the moment, Vlad was not entirely alone. Passengers of all shapes and sizes mingled about the ship. Some were giants, towering over everyone else, while others were tiny fairies that flitted about, their wings beating rapidly. It was a diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique stories and backgrounds.

Vlad watched them from the corner of the ship, content to simply observe and listen. He heard snippets of conversations and laughter, each one different from the last. Some spoke in hushed tones, while others were boisterous and loud. Regardless, there was a sense of camaraderie among them all, a feeling of unity that Vlad found comforting.

As he continued to take in the scene before him, Vlad couldn't help but reflect on his own life. He had been feeling stressed and overwhelmed lately, weighed down by the pressures of work and personal responsibilities. But in this moment, surrounded by the calming sea and the friendly passengers, he felt his worries begin to melt away.

The morning breeze continued to blow, carrying with it the scent of saltwater and the sound of the waves lapping against the ship's hull. Vlad closed his eyes once more, allowing himself to fully immerse in the moment. He felt the warmth of the sun on his face and the gentle rocking of the ship beneath his feet. It was a moment of pure bliss, one that he would carry with him long after the ship had docked.

As the ship sailed on, Vlad remained on the deck, content to bask in the peacefulness of the morning. The passengers continued to mingle and chatter, but Vlad remained in his own little world, lost in thought and reflection. He couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment of respite, for the chance to escape the chaos of the world and find solace in the stillness of the sea.

As the morning wore on, Vlad began to feel the pull of fatigue. He had been up since dawn, watching and listening to the world around him. He decided that it was time to retreat to his room, where he could rest soundly in the tranquil atmosphere of the ship.

As he made his way to his room, Vlad passed by other passengers who were still up and about, chatting and laughing with one another. He smiled politely and nodded, but did not stop to engage in conversation. He was tired and needed rest, and he knew that the quiet of his room would be the perfect place to find it.

Upon entering his room, Vlad closed the door behind him and settled onto his bed. He closed his eyes and breathed deeply, taking in the peace and quiet of his surroundings. The ship continued to sail on, its gentle rocking lulling him into a state of relaxation.

Luca's Proposal
Viasia “Vi” Fistheart

Being a beastman that was raised on the tribal values of her ancestors, Vi was surprised to see a human back down to a fight; that would show that he was superior to her if he won. Head-butting an individual is a tradition in her tribe once someone is challenged to fight, you head butt to accept it. Her father told her to never accept a fight unless she was confident that she would win. If she flees after accepting, she would be not only disrespecting the ancestors but herself. "You know, I didn't expect you to outright just grab the guy and toss him around like that before bonking him...I kinda feel bad." Vi was confused at the little one's statement. It wasn't like she was going to throw him off the boat, even though she thought about it. A little bit of roughhousing helps people grow. Clearly, Luca only grew in height and not in muscle. It was a string bean going against a big steak. Viasia shouldn't judge the blondie. She hasn't met a human who has the amount of muscle that she does in a while.

"Here," Luca said, tossing a book to her. "Enjoy reading time." The beast-woman caught the book And looked at the front cover of the book History of Ge-og-rai-pe-hi? Huh, must be an old human text. Viasia was surprised that he would give up something so valuable to him. Even though said what he said in such a sarcastic manner, he still gave her something. She didn't want him to stay mad at her. She was just trying to have a little fun. “Yo Blondie you're forgetting something,” she said as she chased after him. The big beast woman grabbed the human by his head and pulled him to her chest; hugging him so tightly that she is flexing her biceps in the process. While this is happening, she unintentionally smushed Rina in between the both of them and partially was squeezing Rena to death in between her whole thighs. After the unplanned group hug, Vi had an idea to prank Luca. She knew that humans studied the tribalistic traditions of Beast people so she decided to see how educated he truly was. She let go of the man she was suffocating and looked back at the book. During this time, Rina was also let go of her thigh prison. “You know my people have a tradition that If you receive a gift From your opponent in a fight it is them asking for that hand in marriage,” She said to Luca, Whose face was red from probably the lack of oxygen.

Luca turned and swatted at Rina's outstretched hand. Her explanations did nothing to sway Luca's feelings. "You pass the time by reading a book, not fighting like a barbarian." Luca said, giving her a cold look. She was the one that started it all, pushing the beastwoman to start a conflict. "You weren't paid to have fun. You were paid to be a member of this crew." He made it clear her position on this boat. While Luca was scolding Rina, he had failed to notice the rapidly approaching Vi. Before he could even let out a sound of protest, he quickly found his face smashed between two large melons.

He couldn't escape her grip and found himself stuck in her chest. He would never admit it publicly, but he found her natural scent memorizing. For someone who seemed like they haven't showered in months, she had a surprisingly enticing smell. Luca could feel his cheeks turning bright red as he had begun to think about the situation even more. He hadn't noticed Rina who was stuck between the duo, his mind floating somewhere else. Once he was finally released, he tried to hide his face but there was no hiding the fact that he enjoyed it. Luca wasn't the type to actively go after women, so being as close as he was to one was an unusual experience for him.

His face turned red again as he processed what Vi had said, though he regained his composure as he thought about what she said. "Even if that were your custom, I wouldn't follow the custom of a beastwoman. My people have their own customs and I intend to do things the way I was taught. Besides, we are incompatible. My life would probably bore you to death." Luca said, crossing his arms. He felt like he was being toyed with, being taken advantage of. Rina and Vi were slowly taking away what sanity he had left. He didn't know how much longer he could take it on this ship. He felt himself being drained physically and mentally.

Rina didn't expect him to turn as fast as he did and slap her hand right out of the way. Her lips almost tugged into a frown as she brought her hand back "Yeah well even if I am paid to be in the crew, we can still do other thi-" Suddenly she felt force push her forward and caused her to lose balance and smash into Luca. Only to be then trapped between both him and someone else. Now, most people would enjoy being squished between two bodies. Rina, however, didn't know what to do and wasn't so sure that this was something she liked. Her face was squished and quite honestly, it was unknown to her where she was stuck in this whole ordeal. There was no heartbeat on either ear, so clearly she wasn't between two chests. While being stuck between the two, the Dwelf flailed her arms around and making noises. I don't know what's happening but I can barely breathe and I can't really see! Her cheeks grew hot and her heart increased in pace before the force loosened and she was able to move her head and get a better look on where she was stuck.

Between those massive thighs she spoke about and...OH... Oh... Dad would have a laugh at me now and say something very vulgar...

The silver-haired girl scrambled out between the two on her hands and knees, turning for a moment onto her behind as she looked up at the tall folks she was just sandwiched by. Her pale skin upon her face was severely red. An unfortunate time for her to actually stop someone from going somewhere. Rina's hands brought themselves up to her face and felt the heat radiating off of them. "Vi I wish you didn't have to drag me into your tradition here with Luca! You could have warned me first! Had me positioned at such an awkward -but also hot- spot!" Couldn't help the Dwarf within her, it was her nature. While taking in the fresh air, her heart slowly went back to normal. Anyone who wasn't Rina would have loved to be squished between Vi and her massively muscular and feminine figure and Luca's... Well...Whatever he had because he was wearing so much clothing no one knew if he was an actual stick or if he had some muscle on his bone. Two bodies sharing another between- Dad would have a blast with this situation. This is where mother comes in to not say such things in front of me.

Another thought to keep inside rather than let out. Drawing in a deep breath, she let it out and slowly got back to her feet while trying to keep her composure. "Even if that may be true, Luca. Nicely lettin' the girl down would be more of your class would it not?" A genuine question, and one to hopefully get away from the situation that had just occurred.

1680392420687-png.1077872

It would seem that the red headed male would be lucky today as the bear beastman offered to use green magic to heal his wounds. Such examples of charity were hard to come across these days. She would have done the same herself but there are plenty of thieves that would try similar pity tactics to get freebies. Her integrity as an alchemist's apprentice simply wouldn't allow it so she was glad someone else was here to help. Benji, the only person in this crowd she actually recognised in this crowd, threw a wave her way while greeting her. "It's fine, I admit I didn't notice you at first either with all these customers here." Aside from that she noticed that someone from the crowd went missing, as well as her first customer of the day following suit with a concerned expression. She noticed her wave the potions in her view, which she appreciated. Not like she wouldn't notice the missing stock anyway but it was good to know she wasn't stealing. Instead she simply waited patiently while she listened to the rest of the crowd have their conversation. It wasn't too long before the silver haired beastwoman returned with the potions while apologising. "It's fine thieves rarely get away with stealing from this shop. I have the entire inventory of this shop counted and memorised. I know how many potions are sold and made each day." Silva's expression suddenly turned intense despite the lack of facial movement from her usual poker face. "So if any potions are left unaccounted for... I would know..."

With that her expression returned to normal. "Anyway would I be right to assume you are interested in some eagle eye potions?" Although once again their discussion would have to be put on hold as a rather loud customer had entered the shop now. "Truly the customer count today is higher than normal." The man walked right up to Silva and loudly proclaimed his need for a potion to last longer in bed. The nature of the request wasn't so odd to her. He wasn't the first to ask for such a thing after all. Despite everyone's confusion and laughter she continued on as normal. "I believe we have what you are looking for. Some potions are more potent than others so feel free to browse through them. They are on that shelf over there." She said as she beckoned over to the target cabinet just across from the man. Then she turned her attention to the others, mainly the bear who seemed to be getting a good laugh out of this. "I fail to see the humour in this situation. Intercourse is a perfectly natural and healthy activity between two (or more...) consenting adults. Some may look to these kinds of potions to assist in performing it or simply to prolong it. It is no laughing matter." She spoke as if she was an expert on the subject yet she had 0 experience in the act herself.

Benji spoke out offering her to join them for a bite to eat at the BnB. She thought on this offer and was about to reply when suddenly... *KABOOM!* The door to the backroom flew open as a large plume of smoke rushed to escape. Silva, unsurprised, sighed and spoke again. "That is why we keep a safe distance from the back room." Eventually Dr Xander Crow emerged from the room coughing and covered head to toe in soot with a small flickering flame burning on a strand of his hair. "It would seem I have added too much flametoad oil to that mix... Silvy please remind me to not add so much next time." "Understood Doctor." She said as she walked over to him with a towel already in hand and pinching the small candleflame on his hair to put it out. Xander wiped his face vigorously while Silva turned to the crowd. "And for future reference my name is Silva. Silva Skye. Not Silvy and I will tolerate none to use that name." Xander laughed in response. "You see I'm just special to her!" Silva's brow furrowed in annoyance. "No, you are my boss and I have no choice but to allow it..."

Olfa

After Olfa caught his breath and swallowed down a few moments of brief loss of breath, listening to the girl as she spoke. Sure it was natural, but it wasn't all natural if you needed a potion to keep it going! It was something in between, which was fine. Not an unusual request or worry, but just an odd timing. It still gave Olfa a smirk as her thought about it. As he was going to mentioned the B&B and his need for ingredients, a clash of elemental ingredients and alchemical magic resulted in a boom racking the small back room it originated from. The peculiar man that was crow peaked throw the door and was dabbed with a cloth by the girl, teasing her after the gesture. It was funny but had reminded Olfa that he still needed a few items and ingredients for his brewing.

Walking to the lady, Olfa smiled and handed the girl a list of items on a note, it reading as follows:

Hoarse Toad
Lemon Tongue
Troll Fruit
Aged Multifruit
Prickly Pear
Macaw Nut
Hubur Oats
Willow Root
Folks Tree Branch
Olfa smiled and also looked to the girl with a soft expression.
"I need these items please. I also was wondering if you had any Toad Wart and Ghoul Bone? My name is Olfa, by the way. I can see an orderly woman like you has a name befitting of you and your character."
He said so, not with him flirting but complimenting the girl wholeheartedly. She seemed on top of every detail and crevice of the shop, let alone her life. Even if she seemed a little snappy about his little enjoyment of the oddly timed request coming from the stranger.

Cecil watched as Stinky Boy rushed out of the building and she shook her head, only to hear Olfa the bear laughing his ass off. Was that redhead at the counter's request really not that peculiar? Never had she heard such a straightforward request but hey, first time for everything. With another shake of her head, she huffed and walked away, looking at the other potions she was more familiar with that needed some restocking. Such as healing, some regeneration, and more. Her pointer and thumb cupped her own chin in thought as she did math in her head. Benji was talking about some breakfast, and as much as she wanted to drop everything and get some food, some other priorities came first. The Siblings were workers and they needed to be stocked for their next mission. Though it was funny hearing the girl at the counter explain about intercourse and how it was healthy. Just hearing the subject being talked about was hilarious to her. Not one, but two people being so casual about it while the others are either being immature about it, or kinda disappointed about it. It was clear that Cecil was beginning to fall into the Immature bit of it all.

I don't think that she realizes that some of us are just being children at this rate. Though that redhead is probably the youngest one in this room. He definitely doesn't look as old as I do. She thought before suddenly an explosion threw her off her game and had her so alert her tail was puffed, ears fully perked and her eyes locked on the location where the door had blown open from the back room. Then out came the Dr with his face covered in soot and a singular flame atop his head This fucker is going to wind up giving someone a heart attack. Surely this man had to have another place to work. He was in Altair for crying out loud and he could take out a block if he wasn't careful enough. The girl eventually introduced herself as Silva. A nice name for her for certain. Slowly but surely, her tail had depuffed and was now back to normal while her ears had relaxed along with it. Cecil then grabbed a few more potions, counted them, and felt that this was fine for the time being.

"Well Miss Silva, I'll be buying these whenever you're no longer busy with the others here." Waving her hand around the people who were around her, she could wait a little while before purchasing her items. Not like she was in a rush or anything...Yet. I'll take a look at a job board at a Guild and see what I can grab that's short for the morning before lunch. The Lioness cracked her neck as she turned her head a specific way and rolled her shoulders.
