this was probably already touched upon somewhere, but this is mostly European based right? are there any other cultures from our world that bleed in? are the chickens all psychos from borderlands?

1. Swan culture are very European based; Peacock culture is European mixed with some Asian; Butterfly is mostly Asian based; Parrot is South American based. Puffin Kingdom is actually a bit closer to Eskimo culture. All of the characters are dressed closely to how the Swans prefer to dress, so that is why they’re presented in that way, though they still opt to wear their nation’s colors.

The chicken kingdom... isn’t really a kingdom. They’re a band of people trying to convince the others they’re a kingdom but they’re a little nuts. They worship chickens and find it extremely offensive if you eat them. They said they would consider an alliance with the other kingdoms if they never eat chicken again.

They’re not taken seriously, and I wouldn’t be surprised if your characters didn’t know they even existed.

(They're also a future subplot down the line)
