A king sits at the end of a massive banquet table, sipping wine and eating his meat. This king is a young king; only 16 years of age, and without siblings. This becomes a dilemma when the king begans to make a choking noise.
The king was poisoned. In this kingdom, kings tend to die fast, whether it be through war, assassination, or simply bad luck. So, it became abundantly clear that a tough king was needed.
So, whenever a king or queen died without an heir, The White Crown Tournament was held. The tournament, lasting 14 days, put over 250 volunteers, ranging from the lowliest peasant to the richest nobles, against each other in around 249 man versus man, bare knuckle, armor less fistfights to the death. In the end, one person emerges the victor, and takes his spot as the new king, leading the kingdom into a new dynasty.
With the death of the young king, this tournament now begins, and you, a willing volunteer, raise your fists to fight.
