Hiya, um, I have a question...

What level of technology is the world at? I almost wrote a car crash into my character’s backstory and obviously that wouldn’t work in most fantasy settings, lol, but things like a government and tranq guns make me think this world is a little more advanced than usual so maybe it could work here? I can totally think of an alternative to a car crash though so if I’m stepping on your toes requesting modern technology then just tell me!

So it's set at the early 2000's. Because I atleast know what I'm dealing with then. But the cs critters can have traits from midevel times. The school is mostly midevel but the outside world is set at that time.
