Forgive me for the lack of aesthetic. I'm BBcode impaired and I have been MIA from RPnation for quite a while.
I'm interested in starting a "light" dark comedy role-play, advanced - about 3-4 detailed paragraphs minimum - but casual. The premise is rather simple: a group of individuals with varying mental and emotional problems enlist (or are forced) to attend a peculiar therapy group run by a less than qualified therapist.
Because of my university courses, I prefer this to be a rather casual RP that works similar to a therapy meet-up. Our characters will meet once weekly or bi-weekly (depending on the laziness of the therapist) and will engage in a group session. I will message and post when the meeting time frames begin so that no one has to rely on their memory. (The time frames will last for about 3 - 4 days until the next meet-up so hopefully everyone will be given a chance to respond at least once) Right now, I'm looking for around 5 other players, but I'm willing to add more if you pm me. If you can no longer participate, or are no longer interested, we can have your character "opt out or have no need" of therapy and The Therapeutics.
Unique Things About The Therapeutics Therapy Group
1. It's abnormally cheap. I'm talking pocket change and coupons. Mr. Havenwright, your therapist, will also accept discarded porn magazines.
2. Confidentiality doesn't exist. Records are kept in an old shoe box under Mr. Havenwright's desk. Do with that information whatever you will.
3. Your safe zone doesn't exist either. (Your characters will be put in all kinds of ridiculous and fairly dumb scenarios.)
4. It works.
The Therapeutics might not be a high-end establishment. It might not be a legal place of business. It might also double as a part-time gambling pit. But it works. You are encouraged to grow, or help others grow, even if it means reaching out. You might make a friend, fall in love, discover yourself, or find a new family. All you have to do is enroll.
