He always seemed untouchable and you were the quiet A+ student. You convinced that you’d only ever be a background character in the story of his life. One day fate changes that. The boy you’ve been fantasizing over approaches you with a smile. Are you dreaming? The way he calls out your name is proof that you’re very awake. The interaction is awkward and clumsy no thanks to you, but he finds it entertaining. One day he points out that you’re spending too much time stressing over school. You just shrug it off and tell him that you don’t know how else to distract yourself from working your ass off. That’s when he says those fateful words. “I can be your distraction.”
My Favorite View. muse a is a dancer who practices in her living room. she's struggling financially and doesn't even own curtains. hell she can't even afford a couch but she spends her night practicing her routine over and over as if no one can see her, she dances like her life depends on us because it might. muse b lives in an apartment across the alley and nightly looks forward to watching her routine. muse b is invested in her success. one night while she's practicing she collapses. muse b calls 911 as he scales the fire escape to revive her. options: 。she can't afford an ambulance ride so she refuses the aid but he stays to make sure she's alright. 。he rides in the ambulance to the hospital with her and everyone thinks he's her s.o. 。he's a creep and a stalker if you want. 。she's grateful and ask how he found her, isn't it cute and awkward?
Lost. muse a and muse b grew up together, both members of big families that were close, and everyone always assumed they were gonna get together, including muse a who was head over heels in love. except muse b was always “in love” with someone else. this escalated for years and even when muse b found out about muse a’s feelings for them, they still did them dirty ⏤ until muse a snapped. “choose me or lose me.” they said and muse b, forever afraid of losing one of their closest friends, let them go. muse a moves to another city, starts a new life, desperately trying to forget about muse b for a couple years. then, a family wedding calls them back to their hometown and right back into the line of sight for muse b. muse a is now determined to stand their ground against them. meanwhile, muse b realized the big mistake they made is desperate to make up for it and win muse a back.
baby don’t like it by nct 127: just as the song goes, “my baby don’t like it when you come around.” the muses are in a secret relationship, wherein muse a (or even both muse a & muse b) is already in a relationship with someone else. they continuously pretend to be just friends when they’re around muse a’s official significant other, who is clearly suspicious of them and always acts jealous when they’re together. muse a and muse b never really play it safe, though, often stealing glances and sneaking around during parties. lots of risky behavior (cue mark: when i’m with you, danger seems like a good thing). could end well for these two or horribly, with the official s/o finding out and doing everything to keep them apart.
She's Pretty. Muse A and B were childhood friends to lovers. They always swore to each other that they’d be together forever no matter what, but they were naive and foolish. When they graduate high school, muse a decides to leave their small town without saying goodbye to muse b. She had decided it was for the best, even if it meant breaking muse b’s heart in the process. Years later, muse b made their own path in life and is now a wealthy man with no one by his side. Muse a on the other hand, is living from paycheck to paycheck and does shady things for extra cash ( escort mainly / other ). One day muse b hires her, not knowing it was the love of his life. But when they arrive they're broken hearted to see their bestfriend kissing someone else under their special place. Full of sadness and confusion all Muse A manages to do is run away crying, so quickly that they can't see anything. Bam! They smack roughly right into Muse B, a familiar face that looks at them in deep concern. It just happens to be their old childhood friend that they haven't seen in years. Curious about what happened, Muse B offers them a shoulder to cry and a warm beverage to drink. Not exactly the reunion they'd hoped for...
I like you. muse a is a young man ( or woman ) who falls in love with muse b, an older woman ( or man ), and wants to conquer her no matter what. muse b keeps rejecting him, telling him he’s just a kid and he needs to give up. But this won’t stop muse a from proving muse b that he’s a grown man and the only one for her. ( written m x f but can be f x f or to any other pairing / gender switch )
Rose Chapstick. On Muse A’s birthday, they throw a small party at a bar with close friends, drinking and laughing together. Muse A has a bit too much to drink though and Muse B has to take her/him home. On their long walk, Muse B admits that they just recently broke up with their bf/gf. Being a drunk mess, Muse A teases him/her about it. They get into a long conversation about love and feelings and Muse A says that to kiss someone, you have to have feelings for them. Muse B disagrees and after a while of bickering, Muse B kisses Muse A to prove him/her wrong. The kiss was more passionate than he/she intended it to be, but there was no denying that they both enjoyed it. The next morning, Muse A remembers the kiss, but doesn’t remember who it was that kissed her.

Muse B is already used to this kind of one night stands. But this one was definitely different. Not only did they hit it off that night while drunk , but they also had rings on, and a wedding certificate.
