Dracowolf

A Slightly Disgruntled Raptor
Pokemon and people have lived side by side for generations in the Ranos Region. Connected to an ocean to the far south at the main city, Rutherglen, Ranos rarely interacted with other regions but it was accessible for those interested. Ranos is steeped in plenty of secrets and history, ruins can be found across it of castles and monuments that once reached high into the sky but are now crumbled. Some cities were built on top of these ruins while others stick to the tradition they know. The region has known peace for a long time.

There was nothing off about the night it happened, everyone fell asleep and had peaceful dreams. When they awoke, chaos gripped the region. It seemed all trained Pokemon were gone. Wild pokemon were more aggressive than usual and would attack even when unprovoked. With nothing to protect themselves, people panicked.

There were a few people who were found to still have their pokemon though the pokemon were obviously weakened, as if they hadn't been trained even if fully evolved. Despite this, with the panic setting in people blamed those who still had their pokemon. They were quickly locked up in Rutherglen City, as people tried to figure out if they had anything to do with what happened. It wasn't that they meant to blame the trainers, it was that there were no other answers and the fear had caused people not to think their actions through, there is no doubt that everyone is afraid.

The trainers and their pokemon need to make a choice on what to do. They know they have to get out of their cell, but then they have to decide where to go and if they intend to help the people who are afraid and lost without their pokemon.

General Information and Rules

- OOC chat is currently being handled is a Discord server, should you have any interest in joining the OOC chat just PM Draco. All IC parts will be handled in the forums
- Character limit is 3.
- Characters ideally should be teenagers to adults, though if you want to RP someone younger you can but you have to give a good reason for them being there, as they likely aren't going to throw a child into a cell.
- Legendaries are seen as gods, they are extremely powerful, and certainly are not caught. Characters can encounter one in their history though.
- Characters can encounter fake pokemon in their history if they're from another region. BUT the only fake pokemon allowed will be Ranos Regional Types. Much like Alolan types, Ranos has their own types. To have a Ranos Regional Type Pokemon you will submit them on the character page for review.
- Due to the plotline you can use evolved Pokemon to start they are just extremely weakened. (As in all pokemon will start at the same level)
- Gyms pretty much don't exist due to the plot, your pokemon won't need to act up from badges or anything, it's sort of implied they trusted the characters a lot before they were wakened.
- Villains will be designed to be threats, major villains will take more than one person to defeat.
- Don't be a jerk
- No good mode, no powerplay
- Logic wins in the end during fights.
- You can start with up to 3 pokemon, the more pokemon you have the harder it will be to level them up. You can catch pokemon during the RP.

You can start with Mega Stones but they will not work at the start of the RP. (Side quest type situation)

The Ranos Region
Ranos is a region not many outsiders were welcomed to until just recently. Most of the areas cling to tradition and their own beliefs. The region itself is very cut off from others and tends not to communicate much outside of offering trades for outside goods. You'll find each section of Ranos has its own traditions they'll follow and that things don't work the same as they do in other places.

Trainers in the Ranos region would get their starters from either experienced trainers they met, from family, or the local gym if their city had one. Gym leaders would offer one of their own type, this meant trainers coming out of specific cities often specialized in the same types as their city unless they had outside contact. Areas without gym leaders often sought out help from other cities for their trainers or had their own systems of providing pokemon to new trainers. The only city that was different was the Rutherglen city, as this was where massive battles would happen, and the home of the leaders of the region there were multiple types offered to the trainers, they simply had to know who to ask for what they wanted. This created a feeling of loyalty to whoever gave the first pokemon to new trainers, causing bragging among the leaders if they handed out more pokemon than others.

South Ranos

Rutherglen City

The major city of the region. Unlike more regions, rather than being located at the heart of the region, Rutherglen is located at the south end. Further south is a massive ocean that allow other regions to connect. Rutherglen City is located as the central south part of the region. To the east it connected with Redwater Lake, otherwise there are pths north that eventually split off into 3 directions, much further north is the massive Black Tree Forrest. The path west eventually goes through marshland and will eventually turn back north and west again to Lowestoft City, or cross a bridge north to Bardford. To the east past the Redwater Lake is Redwater Port.
Rutherglen City was also where the equivalent of the Elite 4 lived for Ranos. They specialized in Fairy, Ground, Poison and Electric.
Common Starters:
Fairy: Snubbull, Flabébé, Clefairy
Ground: Phanpy, Mudbray, Sandshrew
Poison: Nidoran (Male), Nidoran (Female), Ekans
Electric: Mareep, Electrike, Blitzle

Redwater Port
Redwater Port was once known for its massive trade industry. It was one of the fastest places to cut through to reach Rutherglen City so most trade came through. Now it’s a ghost town, as the once massive lake has been dried up for years. To the east of it is Farnworth, originally being the mean trading spot for the people of Farnworth. Nowadays most people are leaving Redwater Port.
Redwater Port was home to the water gym.
Common Starters: Poliwag, Spheal, Clauncher

Redwater Lake
No longer a lake, no one has updated the name since the water dried up. It is dirt and sand inhabited by mostly ground pokemon now.

Central Ranos

Black Tree Forest

A massive forest in the center of the region. The bark of the trees here is usually a dark brown or black. At the south entrance of the forest is a path that leads down to Rutherglen Clity. in the center of the forest is Black Hallows. To the north of Black Hallows are two paths, on that leads north towards the mountains, but also splits off to the east and Frost Tunnel, and another path that leads west to Zalfari.

Black Hallows
Black Hallows a small village that has been carved out of a massive dark forest. The people here are known for surviving with the forest and are a rest point for those traveling the main routes.

Zalfari
Zalfari prides itself as being a place of adventure. It seems the wild has taken back half of the town Zalfari is reached by taking the west path out of the Black Tree Forest and is connected to Swindon via Iron Tunnel. Once the home of one of Ranos's gyms that specialized in Grass.
Common Starters: Seedot, Deerling, Skiddo

Frost Tunnel
This oddly cold tunnel connect Central and East Ranos together, just north east of the Black Tree Forest.

East Ranos

Farnworth

Surrounded by open land and farms, Farnworth is the best place to find various berries and get milktank milk. The people are friendly are welcoming, usually. It is south of Easthaven, located in the south-east area of the region, there is a short route between it and Redwater Port.

Easthaven
Easrhaven was built on the ruins of a castle at the top of a hill. This protected city is now a popular tourist destination and considered the safest place fur to a massive security team. Another one of the largest cities it rivals Rutherglen in size. It is further north that Farnsowrth but cut off from the town by a river. To the west of Easthaven is Howling Forest.
Easthaven had one of the gyms but it was one of the first to lose contact with everyone, it specialized in Dragon types.
Common Starters: Dratini, Gible, Axew

Howling Forest
A small forest outside of Easthaven named for the fact that the wind blows through hollow trees and creates a howling sound in it. Before the crisis at hand, children of Easthaven used to dare each other to spend a night in the forest.

Aramore Town
Aramore Town is one of the smaller towns but known for its state of the art research facilities. It is located just north east of the Frost Tunnel. South of Aramore town is the path tot he Howling Forest which leads east towards Easthaven.

Electric Path
Durectly east of Aramore Town, electric path is known for having many lightning strikes among it and a lot of electric pokemon, people try to avoid it. The path turns north at the very end and then splits into two, one leads east again to Wolford and the other north to Orrinshire.

Wolford
The people of Wolford were once normal but it's said a curse has befallen the town. The area is now j own for bring a place to encounter ghost type Pokemon. It us not recommended you stay for long because everything just seems a tad off.
Wolford was known for having a gym that specialized in Psychic types
Common Starters: Abra, Espurr, Beldum

North Ranos

Swindon

Swindon is known for its craftsmen and industry. The people here built massive shrines to honor the Legendary Pokemon who they hoped would bring prosperity. Swindon is located in the north west of the region, before the mountain ranges that make up for the far north. It is connected by a path that heads east and then north to Rockburn Village and to the south is Iron Tunnel which connected to Zalfari.
Swindon had a gym that specialized in Steel pokemon.
Common Starters: Aron, Klink, Pawniard

Rockburn Village
Locatad in the mountains, Rockburn is a mining village that believes in tradition. You'll find the townsfolk honor dragon Pokemon but trend to avoid talking to outsiders. It is the town that is farthest north. Connected to a path that heads south that splits first west to Swindon, its closest trading partner, and then further south it heads east to the Frost Tunnel. The town is extremely beautiful to be in with several unique caves and tunnels, the most famous being the Rockburn Mine.
Rockburn had a gym, known for Fire pokemon.
Common Starters: Litleo, Litwick, Ponyta

Rockburn Mine
This mining cavern digs deep into the Rockburn mountains. While the mountains are always cold the deeper into the mine you go, the hotter it gets

Crystal Cavern
A small cavern located near Rockburn village, there's a stream of clean water inside and the ceiling oddly looks like some sort of crystal. Due to how the light reflects inside, the cavern is filled with edible plants and the people of Rockburn use it as a farm to get food. the small stream eventually leads outside and feeds into a river that runs that runs down the mountain, which is known as a good fishing spot though the people warn that there are very dangerous creatures that live in that river.

Orrinshire
Orrinshire is the smallest town in the region. It is off the beaten path and there's very few reasons to visit. Orrinshire has a massive underground archive. It is located in the far north east of the region, only accessible by heading directly north from the Electric Path.

West Ranos

Bardford City

Bardford City is famous for its food and garden festivals. One of the most beautiful cities of the region. It is accessible by going through the fields west of Rutherglen and north, until crossing the Spring Bridge, over the Rapid Rivers below.
Bardford had a gym but oddly they specialized in ghost pokemon.
Common Starters: Gastly, Phantump, Pumpkaboo

Rapid River
This river feeds west to east across the Ranos Region. Below the Spring Bridge the water is extremely dangerous, giving it the rapid name, though it slows by the time the river goes by Farnworth.

Spring Bridge
The bridge once had another name but Bardford citizens place potted plants along the bridge to make it look nicer and more welcoming as it leads north, directly into their city.

Eldham
Eldham is known as the retirement town. Many fishmen come here to relax and fish at Reed Lake. To get the Eldham one would have to follow the path west then north from Bardfrod City.

Reed Lake
A small fishing lake located just outside of Eldham

Lowestoft
Lowestoft city is considered the underbelly of the region. It is a very dangerous city to be in as the police here have been paid to look the other way. It is the further west in Ranos, and located is the south western area of the region on the far side of the marshlands.
Lowestoft had a gym, but oddly it was never required to get a badge from, due to the city being too dangerous. This gym specialized in Dark types.
Common Starters: Poochyena, Purrloin, Zorua

Marshlands
A dangerous swamp land outside of Lowestoft, often various mecenaries will gather around to offer their services before entering the Marshland willing to guide people through it safely and to Lowestoft, for a hefty price. It is easy to become lost in the marsh.

Mechanics
Leveling is done through skill points. Each character will get skill points when battle complete or a task is complete. You can then spend your skill points to level a pokemon.
1 Skill Point = 1 Level.
If 3 skill points are rewarded you can spend all 3 on one pokemon, or divide them out among your pokemon.

Pokemon that are caught will start at a selected base level depending on when they’re caught.

Why are levels important?
Of course levels will dictate when a pokemon can evolve but of course characters can start with a fully evolved pokemon. So, level will help dictate how fights go. We won’t be keeping track of hit points, but if your level 5 is sent out against a level 15, it’s gonna get hurt really badly. Typing will be important as if the fight is a level 5 vs level 5 and one has the type advantage, that one will quickly win. Level will give a way to measure how easy or hard the fight should be in character and keep it balanced.

Strong types will be treated as a +4 bonus to the level. (So if you have a Fire Type that is level 5, and you're fighting a Grass Type that is level 5, your Fire Type will act like a level 9 and thus win with very little effort.)

The fact that they had been arrested for having Pokemon felt ridiculous. At the same time, people were clearly afraid, and needed someone to blame. Blaming the minority who seemed unaffected made sense in some crazy way. After all, if they still had their partners then they must have had something to do with it right?

Leon

Leon leaned against the wall of the cell, feeling absolutely ridiculous. He had come into work that morning and his own co-workers turned on him and put him where he had been placing criminals so many times before. He stared at nothing in particular, wondering which holding area they had taken the Pokemon to hold them. They couldn’t leave the Pokemon in the normal cells, they’d break out. Trainer and pokemon together were always dangerous and it was always common for the police to separate them.

Still it all felt like overkill. He briefly glanced at those in his cell. All the males who were discovered to have pokemon were put into one and in the cell across from them were the females. Another common practice, though usually by now they would have started to process them and shipped them off to either a full prison rather than the holding area or set up their fines. He supposed there had never been anything like this before, it created a unique problem for them. He decided to wait for anyone else to speak up first.

Natalia "Talia"

Talia had tried the bars of the cell a few times to see if any were loose, tried the walls to look for any weak point and even tried whistling for one of her pokemon to see if they were nearby. No luck. She had swore at several of the officers who passed by, even made a grab at one which resulted in a quick shock from a taser. It wasn’t even that she was necessarily angry that they had done this, she was mad that she had been separated from her pokemon, and more importantly the cubone of her friend. She knew the little guy would be terrified alone, she just hoped they had left her own pokemon with him.

She glanced around the holding cell at the others. She almost asked what they were in for but decided against it, instead kicking the bars in frustration before looking at the group. “Anyone got any bright ideas?”

Clover
Clover sat up and looked around her, confusion etched across her features as she saw her Pokémon were not with her. More importantly, there were other people with her though there was only one other female locked up with her and there were bars as well in front of her. Where were they? Where were her Pokémon? “Sienna?” But no...her guardian wouldn’t be here would she? She was out in the field researching Pokémon here in this new region. The entire reason they had come here to Ranos was her guardian got a job studying Pokémon of this region.

If Sienna had not caught her after she ran away, then perhaps she wouldn’t be missing her Pokémon. Clover patted her pockets in search of her Pokémon, checking her coat but she found no money, no pokeballs, not even her old Pokédex that showed her electronic trainer license and identification. The girl sighed and looked at the three boys across from the cell she and the other female were in. “Where are we? Who are all of you?”

Silus
Silus sat huddled on the floor in the far corner of the cell, keeping his distance from the other two people in his cell. Why was this happening? He was only trying to help them. He'd seen what wild Pokemon could do to defenseless people and wasn't about to stand idly by and watch someone get attacked. Somehow that led to him being arrested and having his Pokemon taken away, along with all of his possessions save the clothes on his back. He hoped that his Pokemon were okay. He'd never been away from them for this long.

Time passed slowly until Silus was stirred from his contemplation by a sound coming from the cell across from his. He turned his attention to the women's cell to see that the younger looking woman had woken up. She was looking across the hallway into their cell before she started to speak.“Where are we? Who are all of you?”
Hearing this Silus looked to the other two people in his cell before hesitantly replying."Uh Hi.. I'm Silus, and as for where we are I'm not entirely sure to be honest."

Clover
One of the males appeared to hear her for she turned her focus on him. Eye contact...where it wasn’t a thing among Pokémon as it could mean a potential challenge...Sienna has taught the girl it was an appropriate response among humans when addressing each other and considered rude to not have that eye contact. Still, she could never hold it for long, staring someone down made her uncomfortable. Something that annoyed Sienna to no end. Clover’s gaze faltered and she stepped backwards, one foot hitting the wall of her cell, fight or flight instincts kicking in.

Clover turned to look over her shoulder, tapping the wall with her foot set against it. Stone. Cave? No...caves didn’t have bars. Plus there was no wind coming through nor ice storms that she was familiar with. Again she tried to focus...focus on human interactions. Clover shook her head as she turned again to face the strangers before her, eyes darting from one to the other.

Another trait that couldn’t be shaken from her...survey one’s surroundings and potential prey and enemies. Keep an eye out for humans...they could catch friends or steal them through something termed poaching. “C...lo...ver. I am Clover. Trapped...defenseless...” Clover’s voice trailed off as she shook her head, her attention wandering as hesitantly moved away from the wall before turning and testing the stones, trying to find a weak point in them, unable to get her fingers in any grooves to try digging her way out.

Caught! It was exactly how she had felt when Sienna had first come across her in Zashil, the former Hoenn champion trapping the feral child and using Pokémon to keep the one-fourth of the Mythic Quad away from her. Clover could feel her breathing starting to quicken in her body, her anxiety starting to surface again. Which had been the entire reason she had been heavily sedated when captured, the girl had bitten and clawed, hit and kicked the guards who had captured her.

Clover collapsed against the wall, sliding down to the floor as she tried to focus. “Deep slow breaths little one. Focus on me and feel the wind. Hear the rain and feel the cold, embrace the sun warmth and relax. Everything will be alright.”

Clover focused on Wayiggr, the legendary’s words coming to her mind and she focused completely in them as her eyes glazed over. Her body slowly stilled, her heart rate slowing to a more normal rhythm, before she blinked her eyes as awareness slowly came to her again. Sadly the legendary was not there with her, just the other people around here. She shook her head as the world came into focus, putting a bloodied hand against her chest, the scent of iron in her nose only making her realize her hand was bruised and scratched up. Her mind then focused on if her Pokémon were okay and if Sienna would find out where she was or if...had Sienna planned this to keep the teen girl from another chance at running away? She had certainly been against Clover getting a Pokémon or her license, forcing the girl to study in secret and ultimately run away. Everything had been fine until she had been caught by Sienna in Lavaridge Town after getting her fourth badge. On that note, Clover turned her pockets out, searching for her four gym badges and the contest ribbon she had won after choosing to enter one for fun. They were missing as well which caused her to get to her feet. “S...Sorry. So how do we escape? It looks like none of you have Pokémon either.”

Silus

Silus stood silently waiting for a response when he just barely heard "Cl...lo...ver. I am Clover..." before she just trailed off. He began to watch her more closely as she started to distance herself from the wall in her cell. It looked as though she was doing something to the wall that he couldn't quite make out from his perspective. Something about the way she moved seemed off, in a way he couldn't quite place. Before he could pursue this train of thought any further, he heard the girl in the other cell shout something.

He flinched, taken aback by the sudden exclamation. She appeared to be on the floor now sitting against the wall panicking. Uh.. Hey are you alright?." A few moment's pass with no response as she remained in the same state. Growing more concerned Silus began to look to the other girl in the cell for help. "Hey! Is she okay?" Before he could get a response the younger girl, Clover began to rise to her feet appearing to have collected herself once again. He looked her over for a moment still concerned after her momentary outburst until she began to speak once again. “S...Sorry. So how do we escape? It looks like none of you have Pokémon either.”

Still a little surprised by the Clover's sudden recovery Silus paused for a moment before looking back to her. "Escape? Is that really a good idea? I mean I don't know about you guys but I didn't even do anything wrong. I'm not even sure why I'm here in the first place." He looked around at the others hoping someone might have some idea what was going on.

Clover
Clover had reacted in much the manner she had as a child when cornered by a bigger Pokemon or even humans. She didn't hear Silus's words of asking if she were okay but when he turned to look at her after she had calmed down and straightened, he seemed to find the idea of escaping a bad thing. She could say that she didn't understand that at all. "If we stay here, we will not be able to get our Pokemon back," said Clover. "We don't even know where they are which means we have no protection from whatever is set to happen to us. I was just out walking with my Pokemon when I was captured...I don't know about any of you but I doubt my guardian is coming to get me out. We...we have Pokemon...maybe...maybe that is why we are here. For being trainers...my badges and Pokedex are gone as well as my contest ribbon I won."

Leon
Leon listened to the conversation, finally deciding to speak up. "It's exactly why we're here. Something clearly happened, none of the officers had their pokemon. Fact is, right now, we are the most suspicious people in the world because we have pokemon and that means people are afraid. They relied on their partners and the fact they don't have them? I'm not sure about the rest of you but before you were tossed in here were your pokemon odd? It felt like the time I put into training them was gone, I couldn't be certain I didn't get much of a chance to check..." He trailed off momentarily. "People do stupid things when they're afraid, and they certainly won't think right. While I'm morally against breaking out instead of talking this through... I don't think they'll listen to reason, and worse I think if we stay here and wait, we're certainly not seeing out Pokemon again." He moved away from the wall, over the cell door. "So, all we need to do is break out, any bright ideas?"

Natalia "Talia"
"Well, break out and escape the city," Talia corrected after listening to the man speak. "Name's, Natalia, or just Talia if that's too much of a mouth full." She looked at the others, ignoring the man once more who had spoken. He was one of them, after all, a member of the police force that locked them up even if he hadn't done it himself and ended up here. "I for one, would like to find my pokemon before things get too bad, and knowing them they'll want to find me. So, I'm all for bright ideas. Assuming anyone has any worthwhile to share."

“Sonata”
Slightly older than much of the teens here, he watched through heavy lidded eyes, the talking of various plans, not contributing to the conversation. Seated in a corner of the cell, the stranger watched as a young girl freaked out and then calmed down though not before one of the younger boys began questioning the only other female within the other cell next to them or near them, he couldn’t say from his vantage point but the voice sounded close. Not having a name, or at least not one he could remember, he tried futilely to remember who he was or even where he was. No matter how much he strained his brain, it only created a pounding migraine and was like a heavy fog was concealing something, perhaps something important. Whatever it was, he could not breach the fog and was left to try to process things in the here and now, am essential blank slate that was confused and injured. “I don’t know...where this is or why I am here but I think ...think....I think there needs to be a plan before going anywhere.” He tried to strain his memory to remember anything once more as he heard talk of Pokémon and if they had been acting strangely. One of the men spoke about he didn’t think the police would listen and there best bet was escaping like the green girl that had freaked out earlier had suggested. Well that was fine with him.

“Can’t say if I’ve Pokémon or not, nor what they might have been doing. But I guess I do if I’m here instead of a hospital,” spoke the stranger as he raised a bloodied and bruised hand to his head.

Clover

Clover nearly jumped out of her skin at the sound of another male voice and though she peered into the other cell, she could not see this new stranger who was cast in shadow. There didn’t appear to be any loose rocks in the wall they could use to dig their way out and the floor seemed rather solid and thick. With no Pokémon, they could not use moves on the bars and none seemed small enough to squeeze through the bars. The girl tried to think on her Pokémon and if they had been behaving funny. “When I was training them, they didn’t seem to know any of their attacks minus those they knew upon evolving or when captured,” said Clover slowly. “I was just out training my Pokémon when I was caught...and they were acting fine before today.”

Clover furrowed her brows as she tried to think of any other reason for the group being locked up and missing their Pokémon but she could not find any logical explanation. “Why not try picking the lock? Maybe they think trainers won’t resort to that?”

Adagio slowly crawled out from underneath one of the benches, adjusted her glasses and yawned “Not the most comfortable sleep, but hey sleep is sleep.” Adagio then ran into the bars of the cell “Ow, right prison. Hehe” Adagio said calmly before she cocked her ear listening “Hmm, five people breathing, two right next to me and another three across the way” She thought to herself before sticking out her hand to no-one in particular and not facing either of the other two in the cell with her “Hello, my name is Adagio Dusk or Adi for short, so I’m guessing you guys are in for also having Pokemon. I mean that’s what I’m in for at least” Adagio said with a smile “I just hope my little ones aren’t getting into trouble. Especially Ionz...Anyway, so how do we plan to escape?” She checked her pockets and pulled out her cane, unfolded it and started using it to feel around the cell she and the other two were in “So what did you two do, I myself traveled a lot battle a lot of different gym leaders” She said absentmindedly, as she checked for her pokedex and badge boxes and finding none of them “Huh must of taken them, anyway I was pretty good, getting all the badges for the famous regions, Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, Hoenn, Unova, Kalos. Met a lot of good Pokemon but three of them have stuck with me after I met them.” Adi said calmly as she found nothing and sat down

Clover/Sonata
Clover did not like all these people around her, the girl still not used to such loud and huge crowds. So different from the various Pokémon in Zashil. This new girl who had appeared out of nowhere and then pulled out a cane before chatting as if everyone were a friend confused her and made no sense. Clover had seen a blind Suisei before but it had been old and occasionally an old person who was also blind when daring to venture into various towns of Zashil which was rare for her. This girl began speaking of her own accomplishments and then asking what they had done before ending up in jail. Clover couldn’t really get behind all this...this bragging...and she came up with something that Sienna had spoken to her about. “Bragging makes one look stupid and stupidity leads to pride which cometh before a fall,” Clover said. Was this person deaf as well? How could someone who did not look old be blind? Clover still had a lot to learn about people and their various ways.

Should she answer or was it not a question that required an answer? Did not all questions require answers? Clover found herself thinking over if she should answer when she had kind of done so already. “I ran away and study secretly,” said Clover. Perhaps she should not mention stealing Combusken’s poke ball when she had gotten her trainer license. The one person looked like an authority figure.

The one stranger in the corner was silent at a new voice. “The girl who is jumpy suggested picking the lock and I have no name. I suppose...you can call me Sonata.”

Allo
Allo's ears twitched at the sounds of people's voices. Furrowing her brows, she wondered where she was. "I wasn't in an area with any people..." She thought to herself. Clenching her jaw, she felt the hard floor under her. She finally moved, groaning quietly as she slowly pushed herself up off the ground. Her vision was cloudy, readjusting itself for a few seconds before realizing she was in a cell. She was also surrounded by other people. She frowned at them, not knowing who they were. But Allo did know that they weren't the cause for this, her being here that is. Shaking her head slightly, she reached for a poke ball. "Gardevoir." She said, before having an empty hand. It confused her for a second, before feeling her belt where her Poke balls would be. "What?" She mumbled to herself, standing up and looking around the cell. Her eye's looked at the people around her, confused. "What's going on? Where are our Pokemon?" She asked, feeling around the walls of the cell, looking for any sign of exit. It would be futile, knowing this was a cell but she wanted to try anyways. Noticing the eyes on her, she gulped. "Uh... Name's Allo." She said, before hearing the concept of picking the lock.

"I think I could help..." She mumbled, taking out a nail file and a bobby pin from her hair. She wasn't sure it would work or not, but she could try.. "I uh... Was in the process of completing my PokeDex, and I wanted to... Get Porygon in it but it's in a lab. So I... broke in.." She confessed, before setting up her little break out. "Guess it's a little convenient, huh?" She asked, giving a small smile while she jiggled her makeshift lock picks. "I don't know about the rest of you but I didn't do anything to get in here besides... breaking an entering."

Sonata
Slowly getting to his feet, using the wall for support, the stranger known as Sonata winched as pain laced up his side, letting out a hiss as he considered he might be in worse shape then he thought. Of course he did not know his current condition of health, with being unable to see any injuries but for his bruised and bloody hand which was eating against the wall beside him that he used to pull himself up. “It’s a suggestion that everyone here is here for having Pokémon. At least all of you...are,” coughed Sonata. “Copper suggested it there, that the police and everyone else lost their Pokémon but for this group. Makes them paranoid and fearful...so we...you’re the suspects.”

Silus
Silus leaned against the bars, listening to the girl in the other cell. She had a point. This whole situation wasn't just going to go away if he waited long enough. Other figures that he hadn't noticed before began to make themselves known. The more everyone spoke, the clearer it became that they needed a way out of here and that meant breaking out of these cells first. He heard one of the others mention picking the locks on the cells, he felt through his pockets finding them empty. Of course the police would have taken any tools he might have had. Looking over at the other cell he saw the girl holding a pin and file, he hoped they would suffice. "If we do this we're probably going to run into cops... Armed cops. Without our partners, I doubt we'll last long." Letting out a sigh he looked at the man who seemed to know the most about this situation. "You seem to know this place. Better than any of us do anyway. Where do you think they would have our Pokemon? Could you lead us there if we got these doors open?"

Natalia "Talia"
"Ah, yes, let's hope the cop who hasn't shared his name will lead us to where we need to go and is certainly not a plant." Talia crossed her arms. "And if you must know before all of this, I was helping a young professor. He sent me this way with his assistant, thought it would be important didn't tell me much about it." She left out the rest, left out her protest on leaving and the fact the assistant was a cubone with a canister of papers on his back that he would not let her touch, and likely wasn't letting anyone else touch for that matter. She also left out the fact that she was a champion of the region, before she retired to help the professor... Of course that retirement was an injury that he helped her with. They didn't need that information.

Leon
Leon considered what they were all suggesting carefully. "It's Leon, first off. As for if I'm a plant, they have my pokemon too, I came into work to chase down criminals not be accused of being one." He looked at the rest of the group, "As for leading you to your pokemon, yeah I know where they'd be held, but it would be suicide to get there. Assuming we don't trip an alarm getting out of here, with other pokemon missing they'll have ours guarded as much as possible. The holding cells for pokemon are designed to contain unruly pokemon of various types. Electric cells, draw lightning, ghost cells make sure the ghosts can't phase through the walls, you get the idea. So, let's say we get out and somehow make it there, disabling each cell would take too long, we'd be caught and I guarantee the next place we get sent to won't be as nice or easy to break out of. Not to mention we have to get out of the city with our pokemon, because they'll be after us the entire time."

He paused thinking things over, "There is one thing we can do and it's a long shot. We don't go for our pokemon, at least not at first. If an alarm sounds or they find us missing, they'll increase security, our best chance is to give our pokemon a chance to break out of their own cells and hope they pull it off. To do that, we need to make it to the basement and throw the breaker and disable the back up generators. It will take out the lights, cause panic and the defenses will fail on most of the cells, not all but enough. If we're extremely lucky the ones who can break out then will, psychics, ghosts, dark types, and then hopefully they break the others out before trying to find us. Again, a long shot."

He closed his eyes for a moment, "Of course the breaker and the generators aren't in the same room, thankfully they are both in the basement. We'd need to successfully stop both at the same time, if the power flickers they'll investigate the basement."

The thought of having a team just throw the breakers to have cops investigate the basement crossed his mind, not all of the cops would go for it and anyone down there would have to hold out as long as possible. They would also then be relying that anyone left upstairs would come back for them with the pokemon. He didn't think anyone was going to exactly be trustworthy enough to do that, not based on what he was hearing so far, given one had already admitted that they were breaking and entering before all of this.

Clover
Clover took in the information given on where their Pokémon might be held up, this human authority figure speaking of the Pokémon being separated from each other by type and being housed within the basement. Was it even possible to break out and reconvene with their Pokémon? The stranger who had spoken up briefly with the scent of iron coming from him seemed to think he did not belong here and one, one had admitted to a crime, meaning they deserved jail from what little Clover knew of the police though it was not a whole lot. She was confused on why that would be willingly admitted in front of a cop whose job was to catch criminals. It made no sense how a blind person could be allowed to own Pokémon or go on a journey or why she would act friendly.

The cop spoke about how they could not go for their Pokémon that might be heavily guarded and of they, the Pokémon needing to get out on their own while it seemed the group of humans would need to find their own way out...in darkness apparently no less. “Maybe, someone should be a distraction?” Clover questioned. It worked somewhat with Pokémon stealing from people, why would it not work when applied to people? Doing such a thing implied trust and faith in each other to succeed though it seemed there was no trust with each other which she could understand. They were strangers after all.

Then there was the sentiment of needing to flee if they got their Pokémon. Clover wholeheartedly agreed with that sentiment. She wasn’t sure about anyone else here but she knew how to find food and water, shelter somewhat but medical...that was a hard one. Could she even find her way back to Sienna or would Sienna be watched? Would Sienna even take her back? There was still the inkling feeling that her guardian might have planned her capture to get rid of her or stop the girl from owning Pokémon.

“Well, Mr. Leon despite that being a long shot, that sounds like the best plan that anyone can think of but where should I go? I mean, I kind of you know can’t see, although i do have good hearing.” Adi said as she clapped her hands and stood back up “Now as for you miss, I was not being boastful, I was just discussing as to what I was doing before coming here, those things just HAPPENED to sound boastful” She started, anger in her voice before she started laughing “Hahahahaha, Nah I’m just screwing with ya, so what Pokemon do you have?” She asked as she leaned on her cane “Currently I have little Ionz my little Joltik, Lola my Ralts although she is a bit protective and Camille my longest running partner and a pretty good Sableye overall.” Adi rambled as she leaned on her cane "Either way you two are much more studious than I ever could be, never really liked the thought of studying the Pokemon or anything about them if you can't bloody well see them, hehe. By the by how's the lock going? Sounds tough." She asked without skipping a beat "Also Mr.Leon, do you know where you guys would keep stuff like Pokedexes and Badge Boxes cause when we do get out I would like to know the looks of some of the Pokemon out there."

Allo
"Well if that's the case, then my Gardevoir and Espeon would be in the same cell. Sylveon? I'm not sure where he'd be, if he's the only primary fairy type out of us." Allo said as she continued fidgeting with the lock. "I uh... I have a Gardevoir, Espeon and Slyveon. I'm a Psychic and Fairy specialist..." She said as she pressed her ear up against the lock. "It's a little difficult when you have to unlock it from the outside." She mumbled, as she listened to the plan. "But what if our Pokemon our injured, I mean, while we were knocked out I can assume they battled for us? They could be in rough shape, I know Gardevoir would die for me." Allo's hand slightly shook at the thought of losing her trusted companions. Stopping for a second, she spoke up again. "If we all go for the original plan, they could corner us. I clearly have lock picking skills, why don't we split up? I can go and see if I can release our Pokemon, and we can all meet back up again, if that's fine with you. I mean, I don't know about you but my Pokemon are my everything. I'd like to check on them first and foremost." She suggested as she continued jiggling the lock. "I can take the blind girl, she has a Ralts and I'm assuming it's young." She mumbled before hearing a click. Allo's head perked at the familiar sound before digging in deeper with her tools. That's when she heard the door squeak. "Got it!" She whispered loudly, taking out her tools and pushing the cell door open.

"So what are we doing? Are we all going with him for the breaker and generator room, while they are distracted I can free our Pokemon?"

Clover
She was brought out of her thoughts by someone yelling and she focused on that for a moment just to pinpoint where it was coming from. From the cell housing the females as far as she could see and a frown visibly crossed her face. Sienna has said there was a psychic gym leader in Kanto, some woman named Sabrina and how gym leaders and elite 4 people specialized in certain types of Pokémon. She could tell right away she didn’t like psychics. Clover backed nervously towards the wall again, eyes flicking from one to the other in her cell before flicking to the males she could make out in the other cell. At least the bars kept her safe from the male...trainers. She was pretty sure that was the word used to describe people who weren’t of a profession. Wasn’t that what her license was? A trainer license which allowed her to own Pokémon?

She was not inclined to speak anymore and her mind drew a blank on if it would be age to return to he guardian, having run away due to Sienna not allowing her to get a license or have Pokémon. The frown disappeared to be replaced by a grimace. She could not go up against a former champion or even a current one. As she understood it, that was why it took a year to her through each league, barring half the time for something called the orange league which didn’t matter from her reading on other regions. Were Pokémon trainers in other regions affected or just this Ranos Region? If the latter, what made things different compared to the other regions?

Before she had time to think more, she heard a clinking noise and turned her gaze to see someone had unpicked the lock. Clover strained to listen for anyone coming that might have noticed the cell opening but she couldn’t hear any footsteps. Of course her hearing wasn’t sharp due to not being a Pokémon of the feline or canine variety. On edge from being trapped without her Pokémon and surrounded by potential enemies, be they trainer or police, Clover wasn’t listening anymore to the words being spoken, her anxiety surfacing again. Recognizing freedom was close with the door being unlocked, the teen bolted from her place by the wall and then ran off into the darkness. Mind in full flight mode, that and her anxiety took over all human reasoning as she raced off into the darkness.

Sonata
Eyes closed, he leaned his head back against the wall as he removed his hand from his side, taking slow breaths into his lungs. Dimly he heard voices speaking and turned his head to the male teen that had not yet spoken through all of this but still no words were spoken. Maybe he was still passed out. That left potential dead weight. “Someone needs to take this guy that may be out still or wake him somehow out of here,” spoke Sonata through slow breaths, his ribs possibly bruised or broken and he couldn’t say about the rest of him, his state of injury. Sonata just knew he wouldn't be of help either way and had no reason for being here...he didn’t have Pokémon.

Some of the females were still chatting and he tried to focus but it was a hassle just breathing and the pain came in intermittent waves. The cop spoke of being arrested as well for having Pokémon, then of how he had an idea of where they would be or had he said that already? No matter...he could hear the door to the women side open and then few rushing past and off into the darkness, growing fainter until he could no longer hear them. “I doubt...I’ll be of help...and there is...this unresponsive guy...” Sonata spoke. “I don’t have any Pokémon so...my best...bet...is at least trying to get...unconscious guy out safely.”
