Book of Sin: Verse one: Burning the bone, cinders to ash, the blood pact bears the unbreakable bond, rising from the hells greater than any force. Black dog of Atherius look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat. Let your soul be engulfed by the darkness of the sins, and disintegrate into nothingness. Spiraling carriage of void, split into seven and reap a place. The decrepit seal of the king of the underworld rises, and returns strength.

Spell of sinful empowerment

Did you know that the world was named Earth in order to "restart" everything? In order to lose the true history of what truly lived in the lands of the mortals. In the past the realm was called Aetherious and later... The Lost Lands.

Aetherious was a place for both Myths and mortals to live in peace and harmony. Of course, they each had their own laws. Myths weren't allowed to kill/harm a human without their complete willingness while humans were banned from learning/using magic. Should be easy enough. Everyone wanted to keep the silent peace treaty up, the one that kept humans alive & thriving. Unfortunately there's always that one person who has to ruin it with curiosity. A human once found an abandoned book of spells, wanting to break a few rules the mortal kept the book and studied it. Learning things humans were forbidden from ever having the knowledge that was within the world of the Myths.

After studying the book for 3 years, the human's curiosity grew to large for his own good. Gathering up the courage and items... the mortal began a spell. A simple spell.

Of course when the laws were being made the Myths never bothered to explain why humans couldn't use magic. Magic is poisonous to the humans; it'll slowly consume their life force. Many spells cast by a human takes away their energy, some faster then others. Without knowing the consequences of the magic, the human used a spell to see the sins of others. It grew out of control.

Taking over the mortal's body, the spell went in search for those with the greatest sins. Making them go mad, hungry for power and destruction; giving them the power to destroy the things they come by. Because its hosts body began to age at an extremely fast rate, the spell gathered enough strength to become its own mind. Giving itself a temporary body... now its in search for the body of an immortal.

The Myths seen the incident as the fault of the humans and because the treaty was broken, all pureblooded Myths were to travel to another realm. Refusing to help the mortals. They left the half-breeds (which they see as abominations) on Aetherious to be destroyed along with both the realm and humans. When over 138 years passed, the human population was practically off the charts while most of the half-breeds survived. It was learned in time that the spell wasn't interested in half-breeds but the army it built, the mad humans, somehow preferred to attack them more then the humans who weren't tainted by the spell.

While the half-breeds were able to somewhat survive the world crumbled they now call The Lost Lands. Tall and strong castles were broken and in ruins, villages were abandoned and if not filled with the bodies of the dead then they lay in ashes. Finding a human who hasn't been made a soldier of the spell's army is rare, most have gone into hiding and are to afraid to come out. Because of this, a half-bred witch sends a prophetic dream to several half-breeds: giving them instructions to meet at Whispereds with only two choices.

Fight or fall.
