Grandad was some big-wig up in Daengwon Corp, a large conglomerate in the industry of Synth Manufacturing, pretty well-known fellas for those seeking to rid themselves of ye ol' mortal coil. Mom was his youngest, a brilliant mind (which I shall unashamedly declare I inherited) and as carefree as a wildfire (I guess I inherited a bit of that as well). I don't think she ever or will ever think to settle down. I was planned, apparently. I guess? Though she'd never tell me who was my dad. It's a pity, but no biggie. I suppose you could say I was privileged, there was never any lack of change. Nonetheless, I had to work for the spoils so to speak. Finished school a tad early, got accepted into tertiary soon after. Wasn't the best of course, but definitely up top what with my interests taking me all over the place.

Began work pretty early, loved it. Had a wee little accident though. Lost my right eye. That was when I found out I had Systemic Synchrosis. Gosh, it was bad. Body absolutely rejected any eyeball from God knows how many different brands. It was terrible. Happenstance I worked on a new kind of fauxorganic material for hypersensitivity during my doctorate. Worked on my own eyeball, and hey, whaddaya know? It worked! Mom thought the idea of customized stuff was brilliant. So she decided to start a new division. Cho's Bespoke Synths, finest customized frames for your frivolous sophisticated tastes. We even manufacture the chassis alloys small scale based on your discerning needs. Naturally, I became part of it. But... it wasn't quite enough of course.

Call it naive idealism, but I thought I had more than enough for me, so I should share. I guess that part of mom, the desire for something that was beyond the material shone through. First, it was knowledge, then it became something more... spiritual I suppose. Nah... nothing all that woosh woosh. Just simple stuff.
