Good Day, dear reader! As you can probably guess, I am searching for anyone who would be interested in participating in this story with myself and a group of friends. As with any story, we have an idea! We are interested in a couple of people joining us on an adventure. Anyone interested is welcome to give feedback, thoughts for improvement, subplots, characters, or anything else.
In another world, the gods are going to war. They are bored but bound by rules they themselves put in place to not directly interfere with the world around them. A king has arisen that wants to enslave the lands and bend all magic to his will. Due to a prophecy he heard as a young king, he has spent his rule killing, enslaving, and destroying any magicians that might seem like a threat to his rule. The king is secretly worried that he may have missed the magician destined to take his throne away and seeks information on anyone that might stand out.
Bored and not allowed to directly interfere, for risk of causing all the gods to do whatever they want and bring chaos, several of the gods have decided to choose avatars to represent them and utilize their abilities in the world. They have each picked a person to represent them from our world and dropped them into theirs. The gods have instructed each person to find the others like them, learn what they are capable of, remove the king from power, and bring the people together.
The idea of the story is to have our characters wake up in this new magic world and, after a bit of trouble, band together and take out the king (And perhaps a few rule-breaking gods along the way). Each character will have abilities related to the god that has chosen them and will have to learn how to utilize these abilities.
We are looking for anyone who considers themselves intermediate to advanced in writing, with a couple of paragraphs per post. Again, please let me know if you have any suggestions, interests, or questions!
