Plot​

Magic as old as time...​

...Beings from stories told at night by the fires of a camp...​

...The things you dream about in bad dreams...​

...And most of all?...​

...The wonderous beings that kept a watchful eye on humans to ward off evil...​

They are all real.​

Many of the beings from stories are living among humans without them even knowing. They have feared them in their stories and while some really are dark and to be feard most just want to live their lives and be free to be themselves.​

Ther among the many cities, towns and villages, they spend their days hiding who and what they are. A life like that can be hard and tiresome so they found a solution...​

...A gated town called The Gates with all that they need. Shops, a school as well as a college, parks, a forest and much more can be found in such a town. But most of all? Only those that arent human may live there. Its a place for those beings to live their lifes the way they want, free of fear from being discovered.​

While living in that town its inhabitants have to deal with many everyday problems like drama, love, rivalry and much more as well as some more...unusual problems like humans trying to sneak in, some of their own causing trouble outside of the gated town or even others of their kind trying to take over the town or causing other kinds of trouble...​

It's never an ordinary day in The Gates.​

-Romance is great and very welcome but please don't force it on others.​

-Make sure before expressing interest that you will be active (of course if something comes up just let us know and everything is okay)​

-Don’t push people to post.​

- Its not first come first serve. So your CS will have to be accepted (in the form of a like)​

- there will be a -one big or two small paragraph-minimum per post so no one liners please.​

- make sure your English is good enough to be understood.​

- Everyone can have 2 characters.​

Beings Found in The Gates​

*Witches​

• Mortal -most common, powerful, need to be initiated into a coven to receive their powers.​
• Immortal -rare, very powerful, don't need a coven, usually born with powers and have great magical skills.​

*Psychics, mediums and people with a sixth sense.​

​

*Vampires -immortal, sensitive to the sun but it's not fatal, holy objects don't harm them, they can be killed by silver and other methods...​

They can be either born (more powerful and some even have a power) or turned (no powers and they need to feed more often)​

​

*Shapeshifters (with more than one human form -max three forms)​

​

*Shifters (humans that can turn into an animal form -max three forms)​

​

*Demons (succubus, incubus, hate, jealousy,...)​

​

*Nephilim and Fallen angels​

​

*Hybrids – a mix of two species (usually they aren't as powerful as the full-blooded ones but also have fewer weaknesses)​

The more powerful beings will have limited spots and can be reserved, but do keep in mind to only reserve a role if you know you will really join the RP. Also if you want to reserve two powerful characters please wait a while in case someone that didn't reserve yet wants to pick one.​
