Realistic or Modern The City of Maple Pines || (Open and Accepting!)

Celestia Bird
Well, this got out of hand fast, Celeste thought to herself. She had, possibly foolishly, thought she'd be able to hold everyone's attention, and keep them all distracted while she waited for an opportunity to steal the wallet back. Being a magician had taught Celeste skills similar to a thief. As it was, though, the younger sister was distracted well enough, and Celeste did spot the wallet she had taken. The older sister seemed to have her eyes trained on Miss Sophie, so Celeste used the opportunity to quickly snatch back Sophie's wallet, and slip it into her own pocket. Of course, Celeste did intend on returning it, but getting out of this situation was more important.
Celeste slipped a throwing knife out of her jacket pocket as she put the wallet inside, partially to disguise the movement of her hand so that even if one of the girls were looking, it would seem just like she was reaching for her weapon. Celeste comes to stand between Sophie, and the girl with the guns, taking in the positions of all of the newcomers as well. If this situation got violent, well, maybe she'd get the chance to sneak Sophie out of here before either of them got hurt.

Annabel had been watching the scene at the pond the hole time. Finding it all quite amusing as she hung there from a tree. Giggling more and more as the scene escalated more she soon got an idea she thought was hilarious. "Do it! Pull the trigger!! Blow his head off!!" Annabel called out to the gun woman before laughing happily and manually. She was truly enjoying this and hoped it would end in someone getting shot. Glancing over at a woman who was staring her down with disgust she immediately sent an insane smile her way and spoke. "Keep looking at me like that and I'll rip your intestines out and make a nuce out of them to hang you with." She said which immediately made the woman turn and quickly leave the area prompting her to laugh happily.

Aaron had been feeling uncharacteristically cheerful and generous--given that it was his sister's birthday--but his jovial mood soured quickly. In one fluid motion, his hands swept the little girl ( Veltsu VI Veltsu VI ) off her feet and he sent her flying in the direction of her sister. He was unarmed today, and getting into a fight hadn't been on his agenda. If the situation got any worse, he would be forced to flee.

"Just stay back!" He screamed, trying to move away from the crazed duo. "You guys are fuckin' crazy!!" A large crowd had began to gather around them, and Aaron felt a little better about having witnesses around in case he absolutely had to start fighting. Is there something that I can pick up? His eyes scanned the crowd for anyone who might have a weapon, but unfortunately he didn't see anyone. Doesn't matter, he thought, I think I can do without one...

And then he felt someone standing behind him. Shit! They must've called one of their friends somehow! A jolt of adrenaline shot through his entire body, forcing him to act. His foot went instinctively backwards into the attacker's groin. Using the person's body to build momentum, he slipped his fingers under his assailant's jaw (@Tori Bradley ) and pulled as hard as he could effectively launching them over his shoulder. As they fell to the ground, he twisted their arm behind their back and kneeled on their chest. "Don't fuck with me today!" He made a mental note to never walk around unarmed again.

Fayette grabbed from Hanah's waist and taked part of the money that they had stoled from Hanah's pocket.

(Nobody else should know how much they had stoled than Fayette.)

Fayette thrown money to ground and then Hanah put her left revolver in pocket and pick up Fayette. They runned away as crowd started collecting money.

[border]Daniel clenched his fist as he heard a girl's voice near a tree. It was no mistake. The girl has a voice of a killer. He gazed on the location of the voice and found the girl getting down from the tree. "Excuse me." He politely said as he made his way through the crowd that is circling the main scene. After that, he saw the girl making his way out of the park. He heard her laughing faintly from a distance. "That bitch..." He really wished he had his dagger with him right now. aliara.s aliara.s

After that, he made his way back through the scene and saw a man locking the other man to the ground. The crowd were now walking towards the area where he was facing and each person there was catching something, money. Apparently, the two girls had made their escape, yet there were too many eye-witnesses, including the victim. Daniel decided to go home after that before he would get into any trouble. As he was walking outside the scene, he noticed a gadget stall inside the property of the park. He went there to see if he could buy a cheap 16-gb USB drive.

Suddenly, he heard the radio. "Turn up the volume of your radio, please, old man." He said to the stall owner. The stall owner turned up the volume with a disappointed face. He doesn't like being called old man, Daniel thought. He heard the DJ's voice as soon as he can hear the radio clearly.
Breaking news, people! Turn down on what you're doing and listen to this news, except if you're driving something, I suppose. An hour after the opening of Maple Park, citizens recently called the police hotline that there were a girl with two guns on the park. The girl had threatened someone by pointing the gun at them. The police had already acted a few minutes ago. Police are being dispatched to the park now, but don't worry! The park is still open to the public even with the crime that recently happened. The police just would question the witnesses so they can catch the notorious woman and avoid causing trouble to the public once and for all. This is the DJ again, time check is 7:00 in the morning. <static> expect some light traffic on the roads during this time of the day. <Everyone>
Daniel's eyes widened at the mention of 'police dispatched'. He doesn't want any trouble becuase he needed some sleep. "Well, crap." The old man handed him the 16-gb USB and he paid him with a wad of cash. The old man happily put the USB in a small reusable bag and gave it to Daniel with the change. "Thanks, old man!" He thankfully shouted as he ran to this apartment. He also didn't dare look behind.

After disarming his attacker, Aaron quickly gathered himself and started to flee. I probably owe that guy a thank you. He tried to warn me about the guns..... Aaron spun on his heel and started to follow the mysterious man to a stall where he bought a USB. "Hi." He tugged gently on the man's sleeve. "Thanks for that back there. I appreciate it."

[border]Daniel tried to not act sleepy again on the public. It was the start of the day. The people were now leaving their houses and apartments to get to work. Even though his senses were downed, he clenched the bag where his new USB is. The cars were starting up, and people are now going through their business like every normal day. He thought about the girl with the murderous voice. "That bastard... I swear I'll catch her." He promised to himself.

And suddenly, someone tugged his sleeve. He looked incautiously looked behind. Since his vision's a little cloudy because of drowsiness, he had a little trouble focusing on the person. After a moment he focused on the face of the person. It was a man, and it took him a little while to realize the person who tugged him was the one who was involved in the Maple Park crime scene or that some sort of thingy. "Yeah," Daniel replied, then yawned, "It was nothing." He checked his right hand if the bag was still there along with the USB.

Meanwhile, at the Maple Pines Security Headquarters,
Clyde was doing paperwork on his desk at the security HQ. Just a normal day with paperwork, he thought. After he was done with his paperwork, he stared at the window. He didn't see that much of the city area, since his office were on the lower floors, but he can see the sky and some of the borderline area. Suddenly, a voice spoke up on his door voice identification (honestly don't know what that's called, but I think you guys got the point). "It's Jade. Secretary of Maple Pines." Just like that, Clyde unlocked the electric lock for her using the unlock door button in his desk, along with the speaker.

"I have something to report." Jade urgently said. "Speak." He replied. "We have been getting calls from Maple Pines Center Park. It seems like there is a crime happening there." Clyde stood up in alarm. He stood up and got out of his office along with the secretary. "When was the first call?" He asked her. "A two minutes ago." She quickly answered. They kept walking towards the hallway until they reached the elevator, which is in front of the stairs. "What am I going to do now, sir?" Jade asked. "Dispatch the investigative team. I'm also going." She left as if she heard everything he said, which is true.

Clyde dressed up as a police officer and got to the basement. The investigative team got a van, which was full of detective things. He got a police car of his own, the black and armored one, but it's the size of a normal police car. When everyone was ready, they drove their way to the Maple Pines Center Park. [/border]

Jonathan Voltaire
Jonathan watched with speculative eyes as the scene played out before him. It wasn't his first crime to witness, nor the first one he would stop if needed. Unlike the majority of the cities vigilantes, Jonathan had no care of whether or not the police knew who he was. He didn't believe he had anything to hide. He was doing what the cops didn't have the balls to do themselves. He kept enough evidence of his nightly activities that they could arrest, but never convict him, and that, he believed, was all he needed to do. After all, he was logged in classified military groups. They already knew damn well who he was.

Voltaire was jolted back into the scene at hand when the serious man ( SirGrey SirGrey ) from the bench approached the scene. His expression was casual and relaxed, but there was an underlying edge to his voice when he spoke, suggesting that everyone calm down and the girls return what they stole. His interference, however, only seemed to escalate the situation and, with an enraged shout, the bigger girl drew a second revolver from her person, leveling this one at the crowd, while the first remained pointed at the first man.

The tension reached its peak with her movement, and the man who'd been the original target for the pick-pocket's hostility reacted. Sweeping the smaller girl off her feet, her tossed her in the older one's direction and backed away. Voltaire stepped back out of his way. The ex-special ops operative could tell he was unarmed, and if his frantic glances around the crowd were any indication, he was looking for something to use in defense himself. That was to be expected, considering the situation he was in.

What did surprise Voltaire, however, was the sudden movement of the man's ( aliara.s aliara.s ) foot. He brought his forearm now, narrowly avoiding a heel to his family jewels. A flash of anger set his blood ablaze as the still-unidentified man locked his fingers around Voltaire's jaw and launched him over his shoulder. Jonathan's breath was knocked from his lungs as his back hit the pavement with an audible thump. He grunted his arm was twisted behind him, the pain only serving to anger him further as his assailant's knee pressed into his chest.

Before the words had even left the man's mouth, Jonathan had slipped his arm from the guy's hold, locking it around the guy's knee. As Jonathan rose, he used his momentum to flip the wannabe hero onto his back. He released his leg then, standing and straightening his collar. He picked up his blade from the ground, slipping it back into his jacket as he stepped around the man on the pavement and took a seat on the edge of the fountain as the crowd raced to pick up the cash the two girls ( Veltsu VI Veltsu VI ) had thrown onto the ground. As he watched the other guy walk after the jogger ( takki takki ) from earlier as he left the park, he heard siren's screaming in the distance as the police raced towards the park. Rolling his neck, he relaxed his posture and pulled out a burner phone to check on the arrangements for his upcoming work night.

Hanah and Fayette had get out from park before polices come, Hanah had hided her other gun after being sure that nobody was after them. At outside of park, Hanah put Fayette down.
"Are you okay, Fay?" Hanah checked Fayette.
"I am fine, sis. If you would have keep your head cool, we maybe would have chance to buy something."
"Don't start, Fay. He hurted you and then there started grouping up more people who came too close."
"Yeah, like that weird smoker who seemed to want to get shot. Who walks front of loaded gun and start mock you?" Fayette smiled to Hanah so she would smile little bit too.
"Let's go home Fay, it's not like we can do any shopping anymore. Maybe after when it's dark we can find some food."
Both girls started walking back to their home.

He made sure to keep tabs on the park incident, to see where things would go. (Open for Interaction)

[border]Clyde's police car and the investigative team's van zoomed towards the park. Citizens and cars nearby would hear the sirens, signaling that it was an emergency and should stay out of their way. In one minute, they arrived Maple Pines Center Park. He first inspected the scenery, then the persons around them. As expected, the park was like the nature part of the city. There were trash bins lamp posts everywhere, as well as the stalls that has a license to sell their merchandise on the park. The people and kids around them were walking and playing on the new park.

"Uh, sir?" One of the police alerted him. "Sorry. I got distracted by the scenery." Clyde replied, with a hint of awkwardness. The team asked the citizens around if they ever knew about the gun scene recently on the park, and if they did, they would ask them questions. Meanwhile, he had to question the girl that looks like a street performer and a girl passerby. The performer was handing the girl a wallet. "May I ask you two some questions?" He asked the two girls as he approached closer to them.

Ryder couldn't help but grow tired as he stood there arms crossed in the dark of an abandoned wearhouse watching the torture of five different men go on. "Alright that's enough." He said to his thugs who stopped on command and backed away giving the bloodied and beaten men a break. Taking a couple steps forward from were he was he ended up right in front of the five guys. "Now that we've got that over here's what you give are gonna do.... you are gonna leave this place and go to your bosses, and your gonna tell them exactly who did this to you. Then you are gonna tell them that they belong to me. If they decline or resist you are gonna press the button on a tiny device given to you once I leave then your gonna blow your bosses head off. It's a tracker to lead us to you guys. Break it and we get a signal saying it's lost, if you don't press it within three hours off us giving this to you or if you don't get us an answer from your boss saying they accept sand you don't kill them well.... lets just say your families might show up somewhere they won't want to be." He said to the five men before nodding. "Alright now that that's over, cutem loose but don't let them leave till I'm gone." He told some of his thugs as he turned away from the five men and started to walk out of the wearhouse. Once outside he walked to a small caravan of three escalades

Once the situation was disabled, the two girls had ran off. A few vigilantes ran off as well. So typical of righteous people, Noah though to himself. Always butting into situations that can potentially make them a whole lot bigger and messier. Lucas could hear the sirens if the police arriving, probably responding to the act of robbery or the fact that someone was waving guns around. Looking at the time, Lucas pursed his lips as he was going to be late to work. Watching the events fold out has taken a little too much of his time. It would also be best not to run into the police. Lucas got out from behind the trees and began to walk to his workplace.

While relaxing back into his chair, the second mug of coffee in his hand, Owen looked over his current pressing case file. A group of buildings had been a target for arson attacks, with the culprit being unidentified. While normally this wouldn't immediately capture Owen's attention as the seeming lack of cohesion in terms of buildings. The buildings had nothing to do with each over, so revenge and insurance were both cast out. It was like, whoever was committing these attacks seemed to be doing with no motive. Maybe there were just doing it for the thrill? Owen sighed as he got up from his chair, grabbing his trench coat and placing it over his blue suit. On the bright side, this case was public enough so that both Owen and his alter ego could work on it. Walking out of his office, Owen made his way down to one of the destroyed buildings, hoping to find something the police may have missed.

Aaron shoved his hands back into his pockets after the other man acknowledged him. Something about this guy set Aaron on edge, but also intrigued him. Especially the way he kept fiddling with the USB Aaron had saw him buy before he started the conversation with him. "You seemed pretty comfortable around that girl with the gun," he said. "Do you have a lot of experience with those kinds of situations?"

Besides Aaron's sister, no one knew about what he did on his own time at night. It was quite a lonely existence. Maybe this guy might have something in common with him. Doesn't hurt to strike up a conversation, he thought to himself.

Amalia Lombardi
Sophie Hayward
Her eyes went wider than plates as soon as she took in the sight of Celeste holding her wallet. "How did you-" On second thought, she didn't need to ask. She had enough of Maple Park for the day. From the utter clusterfuck that happened within only the past few minutes, Sophie didn't exactly see how Celeste ( Crystal Cali Crystal Cali ) managed to have gotten ahold of her wallet. There were plenty of things going on at that moment that diverted her attention from the performer herself, starting with the intervention of a grizzly-looking man( SirGrey SirGrey ) upon their predicament. Sophie could garner from the tone of his voice that he hasn't had a good night's worth of worry-less sleep in a long, long time, and that he desperately needed a hug because of it. That was something she can relate to--although moreso the former than the latter--and it led to her wondering if she can sweet talk her boss into getting more frequent 'sabbaticals' into her schedule. Once every few weeks just isn't enough for the specialist. Why overwork your best asset?

But back to the situation at hand, Celeste. She was still curious as to how the street performer managed to snatch her wallet back from the crazy, gun-toting redhead ( Veltsu VI Veltsu VI ) but found no desire to ask any further. The speculations would have to wait, for now, she just needed to keep her act up--though, at this point can it still even be considered as an act?

"Nevermind. Thank you, thank you so much!" Amalia's face lit up like a billion suns as she beamed a grateful smile towards Celeste, promptly before enveloping her in a spine-crushing bear hug. She...had a habit of being a bit too touchy-feely at times, even to complete strangers, though who 'she' pertains to exactly is open for discussion.

It took a few, long (and for Celeste, probably awkward) seconds for Sophie to go. Afterwards she hurriedly grabbed her wallet from Celeste's hand, before checking it to make sure all of the necessities were still in place-- Driver's License, campus ID, all manners of cards and the like. Satisfied, she put her wallet back to its original place and turned to the performer once again. "I owe you my life, like, I'm not even kidding," She let out a shaky laugh, her hand subconsciously rubbing the strap of her bag. 'What next?' was the question that presented itself to her, now that the entire fiasco was over. The day was still young and Sophie had nothing else to do, so maybe it'd be the right time to socialize. Celeste seemed to be an interesting enough person that she'd like to get to know more of.

A voice interrupted her thoughts however, as they seemed keen on asking them some questions. Ah, the cops. I was wondering when they'd--now that sounds familiar... Turning around, she nearly gasped in surprise at the sight of the person before them. This was Clyde Werely, the Chief Inspector of Maple Pines ( takki takki ), and he was the number one threat to her family's organization in the entire city. The threat her father had assigned her to neutralize, and there he was, standing before her.

She was meticulous in her work, making huge strides and sacrifices to fool the entirety of the Maple Pines Police Department into thinking that Amalia Lombardi is simply a myth; a ruse made by the family to lead the police on a wild goose chase. She wasn't sure however, if the Chief was none-the-wiser, and it made her feel at edge, even if she wasn't showing it.

"Um, yes, yes you may." Sophie cocked her head to the side, putting on her best 'unassuming bystander' expression.

[border]Daniel tried to think, but his brain isn't processing like it used to be. Maybe those are the effects of sleep deprivation. Normally, he would have a regular 3 hour nap in the night when he's tired of doing something, or just getting lazy and sleeping whenever he's trying to rest. He should've slept like a normal and healthy person, like 8 hours every day so he can do whatever he's trying to do right. Unfortunately, he didn't care about what's good for him, but what's best for others and his hobby. He tried to focus at the boy, but every once in a while his vision would double then his vision would become normal again.

"I don't know," Daniel replied, not knowing the volume of his voice was too low. "I'll walk going to my apartment. I don't wanna waste time." He strolled on the sidewalk, casually ignoring the people passing him. His back was arched, and he was looking down unknowingly. Though, he kept walking like a normal person. His face was sweaty, but he ignored it and just kept walking. He hoped that the boy would follow him so they could talk.

Meanwhile, Clyde stopped a few meters from them, so he could keep his distance. He tried to maintain a straight and emotionless face, but he didn't know if he looked like a total pro to anyone. He doesn't want to encourage anyone that he's a professional that can save anyone's lives without sweat. He didn't want to be on a TV interview, but he thought that his thoughts might be getting out of topic of why he's really here. He looked at the other girl that first responded to him. "You look surprised." He said as he put out a memo pad from his pocket. "First question: What are your names?"

Clyde stared at the two as he waited for their answers. He doesn't want to waste time, so instead he inspected their appearances and faces. After a few seconds, he looked away and scanned his surroundings. The members of the investigative team were still talking to the other persons.

~Lucius Minori~
After spending the majority of yesterday doing of outdoor activities, Lucius and his boyfriend had spent the rest of the day lounging in their apartment room, equally exhausted from a two hour hike earlier in the day. With the sounds of calming jazz echoing across their apartment room through their speakers, the two quietly rested in the living room. Though their room was small and far from anything spectacular, it housed everything he needed, from food, to cloths, too a decent bathroom. Having changed into a set of grey, cleaner pajamas, Lucius laid on the couch in front of the small TV by the window, staring calmly at the ceiling while twirling Abraham's hair as he laid on top of him, looking to be in deep thought as he relaxed. Abraham, meanwhile, sighed, his eyes closed as he rested, still a little tired from the hike. He had never been on a hike before and it was a pleasant experience, made all the better by the company he kept. He was not asleep, though his calm, even breathing and closed eyes could make it seem so. As much as Lucius enjoyed this moment, this moment of just him and his boyfriend isolated from the rest of the world to snuggle in peace, the awful feeling that was jabbing against his mind and filling him with discomfort got the best of him.

Bringing his head up, Lucius looked at Abraham as he calmly said, trying to start up a small talk just to ease himself, "You did a wonderful job during the hike yesterday."

He cracked an eye open as Lucius moved, looking up at him. Abraham smiled, shifting a little so he could look at Lucius easier. "Thank you for taking me today. I never realized how nice the mountains nearby are. I am glad that I have clothes here as well, I would hate to stay dirty." Giving a light chuckle Abraham looked down at himself, wearing a casual T- Shirt, the faded advertisement for a fictional school from a popular book series embellishing the front, the draw string, cotton pants perfect for laying about in.

"And I'm happy you decided to come along," Lucius said with a calm smile, the heat from Abraham's body filling him with ease as began to stroke down Abraham's back, as he began to give him a gentle back-scratch, "Hiking is no easy activity, but the things you can see up on these mountains will truly take one's breath away."

As he used one arm to scratch Abraham's back as he peacefully laid atop of him, he used his other empty hand to begin curling Abraham's hair again.

"I'm worried that I may be spoiling you, right now." Lucius joked, resting his head back as he looked at the ceiling again.

Chuckling again, Abraham shook his head. "I won't complain!" Humming to himself he idly sought out Lucius's hand with one of is own, the other folded lazily across his stomach.

"Then I guess you wouldn't mind if I spoiled you with love, my prince?" Lucius smiled as he interlocked his fingers with Abraham's, as he began to squeeze his other hand around his shoulders, being careful to not squeeze too hard. Abraham would shake his head again in response, squeezing Lucius's hand in affection. Though he initially wanted to make him and Abraham desert, all he wanted to do now was to stay where he was, just to be close to Abraham and spoil the beautiful young man with as much love as he could offer.

"You'll going on your night shift tonight, right?" Lucius blinked as he was taken aback by Abraham's sudden words. Looking down at him, Lucius was met with a troubled expression from his boyfriend, resting his head on Lucius's chest as he stared to the floor, "I mean, I know you've taken the day shifts of both yesterday and today off, but... are you able to do the same with night shifts?"

"I'm afraid not." Lucius said, laying his head back as he then added, "They're much more demanding in regards to my night shifts compared to my day shifts."

"I know..." Abraham said, making a deep sigh as he then paused for a moment, "I-I shouldn't be complaining, really. I mean, after I lost my last job, you could say that i'm been the stay-at-home husband, so that leaves you to pay for bills and food. That is until, you know, I get off my silly butt and get a new job."

Though Abraham chuckled after his sentence, Lucius could tell that he was upset. He had every reason to be. With the weight he carried from the vigilante duties he had to see through every night, he could only spend so much time with Abraham before his superiors would contact him and tell him to head to the recently-built Typhon Facility to go crime fighting for the rest of the night. With such a great secret he was forced to bear every day of his life, he had to keep much of his life under wraps. Especially from Abraham.

As the light of the morning sun crept through their windows, Abraham patted Lucius's chest as he cheerfully said, "Well, I'm gonna go job searching. You should stay home today and relax for the day!"

As Abraham pushed himself off of Lucius and made his way to the bedroom to get changed, Lucius smiled as he watched him walk away, as bright and optimistic as always. He would then sit up and turn himself to face the TV, deciding to start his day off with some good old television. Heh, relaxing... The very thought of it felt so alien to him. Though he knew that taking Abraham's advice would be the best thing to do, mental health wise, he knew that he would have to leave again at 7 PM like every other night before, to then drive up the Maple Pines Typhon Facility to make his gather his gear, equipment, and suit to spend the rest of the night crime fighting. It was his duty as a Paladin, after all. And it would always be his duties, whether he liked it or not.

Reaching for the remote in between the couch cushions, Lucius turned on the TV and laid back. The first thing he was met with was a Typhon commercial, advertising their clean, slick, and futuristic products as usual.

WORRIED THAT YOUR CHILD ISN'T CONSUMING THE PROPER QUANTITIES OF VITAMINS AND PROTEINS? UNABLE TO MOTIVATING THEM INTO HAVING A BETTER DIET? WELL WORRY NO MORE, PARENTS! WITH TYPHON INC.'S LATEST GROUND-BREAKING PRODUCT, TYPHON CHEWEY BARS, YOUR CHILDREN WILL BURN HUNDREDS OF CAPILLARIES AND LOOSE ASTONISHING- *click*

"Ugh." Lucius groaned as he flipped through the channels to find something better to watch. Though he had no problems with Typhon Inc. and the countless good things they do for the world, he felt that he needed a break from everything Typhon-related until 7 PM. As he continued to search for a decent channel to watch, he flipped to the news channel and raised an eyebrow from what was being talked about.

"Good lord... what is wrong with this city?" He groaned, flipping the channel once again as he then decided to settle with the cooking channel.

Sophie Hayward
"Well duuh, it's not everyday you see the Chief Inspector himself in person!" Sophie said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world, as her expression went back to its usual, cheery self. From what she can gather, it looked like Clyde ( takki takki ) was uninterested, maybe even bored, of his current situation. Honestly, he looked like your average cop that was just doing his job, contrasting Amalia's opinion of him as her less competent, yet still formidable counterpart within the local police force. The thought of the Chief Inspector kissing his wife, hugging his kids, and petting his dog in a '60s sitcom' kind of way made for some momentary humor, to which she expelled with a mutely snort.

Then the Chief spoke again, this time carrying a serious, no-nonsense tone to his voice as he asked for their names. "I'm Sophie Hayward," She flashed a polite smile in greeting, before stretching out her hand in an attempt to initiate a handshake. Amalia may be the heiress to one of the most dangerous crime syndicates in the entire country, but God be damned if she ever forgets her manners.

That was when she saw the pen and memo pad in the Chief's hands, and thought that maybe a handshake wouldn't be so appropriate at this time. "Oh, uh, right." She retracted her arm, but not before the air of awkwardness quickly settled in. It's all part of the act, Amalia. All part of the act. She had to remind herself sometimes.

Now it was Celeste's ( Crystal Cali Crystal Cali ) turn to speak. Apparently, Celestia Bird was her actual name, and immediately Amalia bit back the urge to ask if she's in any way related to Larry Legend. She wasn't a sports fan by any means, but it didn't hurt to be curious.

Owen Wright

There wasn't really anything to miss. The cops had searched through every last inch of the burnt down buildings. It was more in the M.O of the owners and such that should have been looked at. Seeing as how they were former black market dealers before there demise would most likely lead to more clues. But other than that the only evidence they could have found was a shoe print of a shoe from one of the nearby schools which doesn't help at all considering there are at least 100,000 students in the city and all the school uniforms require the same shoe no matter what school it is. All they could decifer from the print was it was female

After jumping over the police tape in a rather casual manner, Owen starts to look around the wreckage of what was once a building. Through the rubble, he sees where the police have made a cast. A small female shoe, which at Owen's guess is something like a school shoe. "So a female school student, that will be easy to narrow it down" he mutters sardonically as he costumes. After twenty minutes of turning nothing up he takes out a dictaphone to says "Lack of evidence press further investigation, look out for attacks tonight" before leaving the casually as he entered. Walking up the street, Owen lights another cigarette, as he starts heading back to the office. Daniel Reaving Daniel Reaving
