While the SHIELD scientists were building their device, Vahlen was working on the arc reactor. Her main purpose was to compare to Elerium and find the stronger power source. While in the middle of her research, she heard Simmons shout. The doctor walked over the device and the scientists and passed Fitz as he left the room. "You got it to work?" Said Valhen to Simmons. "That's amazing. Good job." She looked at the device and read that a tear was detected in Tokyo. "I wonder what that could be." Vahlen said. "The Commander should also be informed of this."

Arrow: Oliver stepped up to Stevenson, hoping to draw his attention just for a bit to get some questions answered, like how they planned to predict the tears that were opening up.


"To answer your question, I didn't want her to get caught up in this part of my life, but she found out that one of my biggest rivals, who happened to be trained by the League of Assassins, was her father. He took her away after my city was attacked by a small army of super serum-powered mercs to train her, and she found out who I was after I brought her back. Her boyfriend was my first, but he faked his death in prison to start over with a new life. It's a....touchy subject for both of us. Now what's all this business with that 'Hydra?' Are they still bugging you, because I feel compelled to help out.

Goku: Upon taking the lid off of the floating tray, Goku's mouth instantly watered and his eyes widened as a mountain of assorted sushis, porks, and rice meals appeared on it. Pulling out two pairs of chopsticks, the food barely lasted five minutes while Goku ate it all and finished it off with a loud and long burp. He wiped his mouth with his wrist and patted his full stomach.


"Boy, that was awesome! I'm all filled up now, so let's go! This guy sounds like trouble, and I need to work off all that food!" Goku excitedly shouted with a giant goofy grin.

Fitz and Simmons: "It literally just closed." Simmons replied


"Something could have still come out." Fitz suggested


Coulson: Within the command room, an alarm went off for two seconds only for it to shut off again. Coulson, who had spent the last two days micromanaging SHIELD and XCOM forces into units ready to mobilize as well as initiating a search for Ward was the first to step into the room. On a large screen displayed a world map, showing that a tear had opened in the heart of Tokyo. The map then started to zoom in, pinpointing the tear's location. It locked onto a security camera, now displaying the image of at least a dozen SHIELD agents surrounding the location and investigating the area. Coulson sighed in relief "Open up a channel to the Helicarrier above Tokyo. Tell them to give me an update right away."


Stevenson: "Bugging is a bit of an understatement. They attacked friends of mine. Ward himself was a SHIELD agent until he went and stabbed all of Coulson's team in the back, as well as dozens of other SHIELD agents...Literally in some cases. He's a little shit and I intend to end him. I'm not the only one around here who wants to do that though. Plenty of people in SHIELD have a bone to pick with him."


SHIELD: Lisa had spent the past two days trying to keep Chara occupied, showing her around the base as well as giving her books to read. She figured that as long as the child was stuck here, she should at least remain educated. She knocked on the door to Chara's room "Are you alright?" She asked


Emma: Emma had spent the past two days mostly with Temmie, using the time Temmie slept to check up on Tom. He still hadn't woken up yet and although she was deeply worried about him, she was able to put on an act for Temmie. As she was showing Temmie a new gadget Mack knocked on the door to the room the two were in.


"He's awake." Mack smiled


"Oh thank Christ..." Emma muttered

The Woman, upon seeing that the three men had finished eating snapped her fingers, teleporting them across the Multiverse. The three now found themselves and their two vehicles standing on a red planet. As they appeared, a group three of bug-eyed, large headed and small green creatures ran towards them.

"P...Please help us!" One begged


"Why are these aliens speaking English?" Deadpool asked in a confused tone


"Universal translator."


"How convenient..." Deadpool rolled his eyes "Tell me where I can find The Mechanist and Joseph McGinty Nichol."


"They're currently sacking our capital city!" The second Martian shouted in a frightened tone


"I'm not from around here, buddy where's the Capital city?" Deadpool asked, his hands on his hips, striking a triumphant pose


The third Martian, who had remained silent for the entire conversation pointed to a large plume of smoke in the distance.


"If this is Mars..." The Yellow box began "How are we breathing?"


"Good question. I guess some kind of generated oxygen field. It's explains how there's fire on Mars." Deadpool suggested, stroking his chin thoughtfully

The Avenger


The Commander had spent the last two days aboard the Avenger and discussing the micromanagement of the SHIELD and XCOM forces with Coulson. Jason had even reactivated the covert operations division and had them actively scanning for signs of Ward and HYDRA. He was currently in the Situation Room when on his tablet that he carried around on the ship, Jason was notified by Vahlen that the tears tracking device was finished. He was about to walk down to the labs when on the Situation Room's world map, a symbol that represented a tear had appeared over Tokyo. Over the radio he said to Coulson. "Do you have any clue what came from the tear? I can get the Skyranger there in 2-3 hours if needed."

Temmie was, for the most part, oblivious to the terrible things that had happened. She mostly spent her time following Emma wherever she went. Mostly. She would, on occasion, run off to look at something new that she hadn't seen before, but as she saw more and more of the base it happened less often.

Chara turned to the door as Lisa knocked on it "Yeah, I'm okay." She called from inside, as she put the knife she had managed to sneak from the kitchen in its plastic protector and slipped it in her pocket to conceal it "Come on in." She said as she glanced over at the yellow sparkle in the room only she could see. Marking a spot where she could use her powers, she had used it to start experimenting with ways to wipe out this base. It was extremely difficult - Many, if not all, of the base's personnel were more or less armed to the teeth, and she had died plenty of times trying out her various methods. Normally she would simply try again until she got it right. However, this wasn't the Underground. There would be opportunities to make this simpler. So she elected to simply sit back for a while. Wait for it. If she wanted to kill someone, she would, and then just reset it.


As she watched the sparkle glow in front of her, she focused on its power, and a single thought filled her mind.


Determination.

Heh... You think I will show you mercy? Such things are useless in this world... You cannot stop me, my DETERMINATION is more powerful than yours!

Over the past few days she and Sans had started talking to each other a bit, though Sans had admittedly at least shook hands with half the base at this point "I just cannot wrap my mind around it."

"Truthfully, no, I have not. Not one outside of a body, anyway."


"guess you just gotta wolf down this bit of info now, huh?"

"Unless they have the facilities to remove magical infections, I do not believe going there would be a fruitful venture. Let us see how things are going on the front line first, and we shall bring it up if things are not too serious."[/border]

Coulson: "My people are already on it." Coulson explained just as another alert went off, this time pointing towards France. The screen began to zoom in on the country, stating that a possible Inhuman was in Paris. Not only that but a tear had been detected within the city, close to the outbreak's location. "On second thoughts, get it ready." Coulson spoke in a serious tone


Emma: "My friend was hurt by a bad man." Emma explained, in terms she hoped Temmie would understand "He was knocked out by him and fell asleep."


"If you want, I can watch Temmie if you want to..." Mack began


"Thank you." Emma smiled before leaving the room.


Mack sat next to Temmie and offered her a handshake "I'm Mack, you must be Temmie." He began in a friendly tone

The Commander watched as another tear opened in Paris. "Two places and I only have time to go to one. Reminds me of the alien abductions during the beginning of the war." Jason muttered as he tapped a few buttons on his tablet. "We'll be leaving in ten minutes." He said to Coulson as he finished giving orders from his tablet. Over the course of the next ten minutes nine soldiers including the Commander ran into the armory.


They each got equipped and boarded the Skyranger. On board the plane were two heavies, two snipers, two assaults, two supports, and one MEC pilot. Once everyone was on the Skyranger and they got strapped in and waited for take off.
