1584860840116.png Ariva wasn't really surprised with the girls outgoing personality at all clearly having expected it upon inspecting her, she watched as her apparent roommate choose the bed that was closest to the window, she likely choose it for the view or fresh air when she wants it. Ariva honestly didn't care that much, though her tired expression was still on her face as the Nil girl practically made her way towards her and introduced herself, Ariva nodded before moving on to shake her had. Then going on to greet her in her in a lazy manner "Uh, huh, I'm Ariva." after she was done shaking Nils hand she stretched out her arms a bit before yawning. "I'm guessing were roommates huh." she said that while scanning the room a bit before grabbing her bag and heading over to the other bed Nil didn't choose. Ariva set her bag right next to her bed after that Ariva plopped down onto her bed back first so that her face was facing the ceiling. After a few seconds of contemplating Ariva decided that a little small talk would be nice and may help to get to know their unknown roommate. "So you planning on doing anything specific before the Entrance Ceremony? you still have quite a while before it starts."

FINNEGAN BROWN

And for a single moment, the world stood still and there was no one in it except Blaire and Finnegan. His heart jumped out of his chest at the mention of coffee flavored chocolates. Things couldn't be more perfect, them being roomates was meant to be. "Blaire, I swear my allegiance to you," Finn said, suddenly very serious. He was no longer worried about sharing his room, in fact, in that moment, he swore that no harm would be done to Blaire.

Not on his watch.

TSUKI BROWN

Tsuki wasn't as lucky as her brother. Bisila didn't seem to be happy about her presence, but then again, Tsuki wasn't overjoyed either.
"The only thing offending me is your face and your presence, which I won't have a problem ignoring because I only have to look down to acknowledge you" The raven haired girl sneered.
"Look down?" Tsuki was about to retort when Bisila stood up and made her way to the door.
"Unless you're planning to go to the entrance ceremony through the mouse holes, I suggest you follow me."
"Hey, I'm perfectly capable of finding the place on my o-"
"Or do you want me to hold your hand and help you walk, baby?"

The nerve?!? Well, at least she's not boring, I'll give her that much.

"....." Tsuki grumbled and walked up to her roommate, taking a second to compose her cranky self. "Why, Thank you for your kind offer, Bisila. But I'd rather not hold your hand and get a case of the morning grouchies. There's nothing more unwomanly than that, you know." She gestured with a pitiful sigh and walked ahead of her.

T-this guy keeps exceding my expectations, wait a second, since when did I expect anything Blaire tried to keep a straight face no matter how impossible this situation looks like, this made him remember of his spoiled self when he was young, being served and from a prestigious family and all, but that does not matter, all he has right now is his strength and will. "It's fine, l-look I still have more of these left too so I won't run out anytime soon" he said nervously but he seems relieved, it seems he got himself a loyal comrade forged from the bonds of coffee itself, Blaire likes his coffee bitter but he mostly prefers protein shake or a cold coffee frappe. "I think I should be on my way to the entrance ceremony, you sure you ain't coming, Finnegan?".

Hearing the girl grumble and make her way over brought a smirk to her face. So, baby was a trigger word hm? She had to be careful to not overuse it or it would lose it's effect. Bisila closed her eyes and put her hands into her hoodie pockets as the girl walked past.

"Why, Thank you for your kind offer, Bisila. But I'd rather not hold your hand and get a case of the morning grouchies. There's nothing more unwomanly than that, you know."

"Not my fault, I don't want to have diabetes either. There's more to being a woman than morning grouchies. "

Wait how did she know her name? Taking out the paper given to her by the staff, she turns it around and sees her name: Tsuki Brown. A grin formed in her face as she caught up to Tsuki and smiled at her before facing ahead.

"I'm gonna love it here"

Alexander met the nod with one of his own. A good, solid introduction didn't mince words. Eryn obviously enjoyed his music, so he didn't waste words of his own. He flashed a thumbs up and strode to the entrance ceremony alongside the boy. He nodded along with the tunes, trying to distinguish what the song was. It made for a bit of a puzzle, the volume was just too low for a clear conclusion.

That cadence... Metallica maybe? If so good taste.

The entrance ceremony took place in a nearly empty hall. They made it there early then? Alexander checked his phone quickly. Not that early.

Well, they had the choice of seats. He gave a sidelong glance to Eryn and nodded towards the front. Let's hop to.

Mizuki Henmi

Mizuki was excited for her new life at Lone Pine. She thought it would be interesting and hoped she could make more friends other than her only idiot best friend Seiho. She was already looking out the window when the pilot announced they would be landing soon and her face lit up when Lone Pine came into view. "A new life..." She thought to herself. They officially landed and Mizuki definitely wasn't one of the first people to get off.

She made her way to Dorm 203 in which she shared with someone named Ariana. Mizuki opened the door and was surprised to see that her roommate wasn't there yet. Nonetheless, she began unpacking on one side of the room and then sat on her bed to wait for Seiho.

FINNEGAN BROWN

Finnegan shook his head, "I'm fine shutting myself in this once." He felt rather guilty about it, to be honest. But the horrors of being held back a year caught up to him and he didn't want to face it. "However... I do need to know if I might get into trouble for it," he wondered. That's when he realized that if he did get caught, then things would be so much worse. Ah crepe, I didn't think of that.

Finnegan sat up and rubbed his temples, skipping the session was one thing, but having to get into trouble on day one was entirely another thing. "On second thought... I'll join," He sighed sheepishly before following Blaire.

"Not my fault, I don't want to have diabetes either. There's more to being a woman than morning grouchies. "
Tsuki couldn't help chuckling to herself. Careful now, Tsuki. You might end up ruining your 'kawaii reputation'.
It wasn't that Tsuki was trying to have what some people called an 'image'. The cheerful, over-energetic mask would help her to divert her mind from how nervous and scared she actually was. She didn't enjoy fighting, nor did she have the physical requirements to do so. In that setting, Tsuki didn't really know how she was going to fit in. Sure, she was confident in her strategic and analytical capabilities, but how useful are those when you're cornered and all alone, inches away from death. Tsuki swallowed at the very thought. No. I'm not going to fail.

"I'm gonna love it here," Tsuki's thought was broken as Bisila smiled and walked on ahead. She nodded, as if agreeing to Bisila's words, although she suspected she meant more than what she implied.
"Ooooh, and then we can get cute matching outfits and form our own cheer squad and rule this place <3," She forced a giggle, "Oh, you can be the mascot if you want. I figured you wouldn't like cute pink outfits," She shrugged.

"Ooh, we do? I would've thought that they'd get things started right away..." Nil sounded partially disappointed, no doubt wanting to get their time at the academy started right away; all the same, the girl was more than prepared to make the most of whatever time she might have still had. She reached up, patting her head as she thought for several seconds, before turning on the ball of her foot and happily heading toward her bag. "Y'know, I might have an idea, actually!" she exclaimed, swiftly unzipping the top flap and pulling free a metal bat from the top layer of her bag, twirling it in the air for a moment before propping it squarely on her shoulder. "There's no way they don't have some kind of training room around here, right? You wanna come find it with me and check it out?" she asked happily, patting her shoulder with her bat a few times. Even when she should have been still, she appeared unable to keep herself so, always ready and revving to go. "Think about it! Maybe we'll even be able to get a leg up on everyone else before classes even start, huh? Besides, it'll be fun to do a little bit of exploring even if we don't find our way there, right?"

BLAIRE PHOBIA

"Glad you changed your mind" Blaire replied with a smile "don't forget your Triblerone by the way". Blaire closed the door on their way out, then it came to his mind, wondering why Finnegan seems hesitant on going to the Entrance Ceremony "Its not your first time here, is it? You seem hesitant on something" it seems Blaire was right on the right on the mark, talking whether there is a punishment or offense when a student won't attend the Entrance Ceremony, mentioning shutting himself in the dorm once, Finnegan might be his upperclassman but he has no knowledge of Finnegan repeating his first year "I don't know what it is but you seem uncomfortable talking about it, I won't pry further" reassuring Finnegan he will not sniff out his privacy.

Just as Elaine began unlocking the door she heard a voice from behind her, startling her somewhat. She was also somewhat taken aback by the accusatory tone. Looking over her shoulder to look at the other girl she smiled sadly. Oh my, is this my roommate.
"I'm sorry, you seem to misunderstand. This is also my dorm," she gestured to herself, "I'm your roommate it would seem."
She quietly returned to opening the door and wheeled herself in ahead of the girl. Not wanting to impose she waited for the other girl to enter. "Do you have a preference on beds?"

S. McClusky
Technical Instructor
Orientation, Lone Pine Academy

Uasal Uasal

McClusky caught sight of a few students, of whom were making their way into the auditorium for heir expected orientation. They took their time, and then their seats, as most of the chairs were vacant anyways. It must be nice to be young, McClusky thought, despite only seen her twenty-fourth birthday recently. She gave the students a wave and an earnest smile. Most of her students from last semester have either graduated and moved onto their advanced training elsewhere or shipped to the frontlines. Before long, a buzzing sensation caught McClusky's attention. Her tablet was going off with notifications.

"Hmm.."

Where others tend to neglect trivial matters as such, the instructor had time on her hand, like the students before her. If anything punctuality has its perks, especially is early to the orientation. Swiping her tablet's screen, McClusky found a few peculiar notifications from an unidentified source. A system glitch, as one would call it, but for a technical specialist with ample experience in the field, this could very well be something she would have to look into. Surely enough, the thing she feared the most was apparent. It was neither a system bug nor were eyes playing tricks on her. Her tablet system was being hacked.

"What do we have here..."

A cyber attack? By whom? Cesants, humanity's sole enemy, came to mind, but McClusky digressed. Human technology are as foreign to their enemies as the Cesant's to them. Of all her years on the frontline, the Cesant threat are seen first-hand as brute warriors, with certain cases proving their cunning infiltration tactics and ever-shaping strategies to adapt. A cyber attack falls out of this conclusion entirely. No. Only something or specifically someone familiar with Earth' technology was responsible for this. McClusky eyes glowed with determination, as she eyed the entire room, before reeling back to her tablet's screen.

A prank? Or perhaps something far more sinister? Thoughts ran her by, as her device continued to go off like a kid's toy. A swift course of action must be taken, once that is accomplished, she can then seek after the culprit. Her fingers ran by the programs, prompting different consoles and command lines to follow. The first step was to isolate the frequency to her own tablet, in order to bear the blunt of the data transmissions. Meanwhile, McClusky would also try to scramble and cut off her device's connection with the school's data - restricting the datamining process to her tablet only. This would save the school's archive from being compromised. It was an arduous task, but she managed to cut access to the school's main line of connection, placing a prompt to request specific details for access. Naturally, this would have to be done physically by those with the corresponding access to those databanks.

The only thing the perpetrator was able to zero in was McClusky's tablet, of which was still carrying sensitive materials enough to compromise part of the school's operations. The game now spirals down to a game of speculative checkers. What came next was the trickier part of the dilemma. The attack could have come from anywhere, and McClusky's device was already compromised. Yet despite these odds, McClusky kept a cool face, and steadied herself. Reading over the patterns of the initial attack, she concluded that the attack was not particularly directed at her, but rather the school's system as a whole. However, there were no particular field of interest plugged in, only the noticeable compromise of the mainframe. In other words, it is similar to cutting an apple with a knife, but not deep enough to slice it in two, only to leave a mark.

A diversion, perhaps? The codes, however, said otherwise. It was written thorough enough to scramble their origin and enough to breach the network as subtly as possible. What they did not count on, however, was McClusky's intrigue. One would not follow through with this attack without scrutinizing every possibilities of the following consequences. No objectives, no motives, only a head-on challenge. One that McClusky had inadvertently picked up on, like walking in on a single-player chess game and picking it up. Pride perhaps? After all, the culprit's codes left quite an impression on McClusky. Withdrawing her auxiliary PDA, McClusky quickly reconfigured her tablet, connecting the two device, while propping the tablet's back cover open to rewire it. She could not hope to triumph against a clearly intelligent hacker, but on her technical turf however, perhaps she could play her cards right, and perhaps reveal the identity of the assailant.

By plugging in her auxiliary PDA and rewiring it proper, she was overloading her main tablet with 'extra juice'. Like a water pipe, what goes in from one end, can and will be received from the other. Her plan: overcharging her device with data to cause an energy surge from her end, of which would then be received by the perpetrator's end with enough energy to either fry their device or causing a huge reverb effect to disorient them temporarily. What may seem like a profitable increase in data transmissions, would eventually end up overfeeding their system. McClusky's strategy had its flaws, however. As her plan hinges on the factor of the assailant's presence within the room. It was an improbable chance, but she was willing to do what was necessary.

"I wonder how you would react to a little noise?"

A light tap upon her PDA, and the command followed. Her devices quickly shut down, before sparking slightly. The integral parts were then unlatched from the motherboard of her tablet to prevent a fire, despite most of the chips and memory cards being fried to a crisp as a result. While her hands moved, McClusky's eyes scanned the room with great scrutiny, looking for a reaction to what she expected would be a loud ringing or an annoyed facial reaction.

Aron Roshelle

Aron would look at the protein bar that his college offered him, "I know you're excited for the orientation. But please do take good care of yourself, Mr. Roshelle." Siri would whisper in his ear. Aron smiled at her, "thank you" he whispered into her ear, before scarfing down the protein bar. it didn't make him full, not in the slightest, but it would keep his stomach from growling for the rest of the ceremony, then he would have to figure out what to do afterwards. but for now, he leaned back into his seat, "should I have worn my badges...naw, that's too extra" Aron mumbled to himself. He then saw Siri get a notification on her tablet, and being the nosy boy he is, decided to take a look at what's going on. it seemed like someone was trying to access something. Aron immediately reached for his own phone, "shit, left mine on the kitchen table" He said before leaning his his chair. "everything...alright?" he said as he watched Siri's tablet go into flames, and her phone commit scooter ankle.

I figured you wouldn't like cute pink outfits," She shrugged. Bisila gave her a look as she was processing what she had just said. Okay? The whole matching outfits was never really going to happen, not in another universe, but ruling this place? Sounds fun. At the comment of pink outfits and her being a mascot, the raven rolled her eyes.

"You figured the wrong thing then. I do like pink outfits, even though I prefer some white or red. Also, you sure you don't want to be a mascot? With that kind of face, you can pull it off. Or maybe not, 'cause maybe they don't allow professionals." Bisila gave Tsuki a toothy grin "But ruling here does sound fun~, I'm impressed you could come up with that. I thought your brain was as small as you are but you proved me wrong"

Clair hadn't been sat idle for more than five minutes when Eirene happened across something that peaked Clair's interest. A tablet with high security credentials and one hell of a fire wall was connected to the Wifi practically just begging to be targeted. It had to be a trap, no one with such high credentials would just connect to the wifi like that right? Surely not, it had to be a lure for set in place for students like Clair right!? None the less, who ever that tablet belong to was sure to notice her attempts! BINGO! "Eirene, execute Sledgehammer protocols. Take that wall offline and do it fast"
"Right away Clair brute force it is, Executing command in 3....2....1.... Executing. Running calculations....... estimated time until the firewall is cracked..... two minutes and forty five seconds...". Two minutes and Clair was in. Stealth was not an option, not when she wanted to be noticed. Brute force would set off alarm bells for sure and that would give away what was happening...Perfect!

As Clair sat quietly in her chair lines of code streamed before her face as Eirene began assaulting the firewall. However something wasn't right... what was it... the code was changing before her eyes at a speed she hadn't anticipated. Someone was already on to her and fighting back. "Eirene give me an overall status report. My glasses can't show me the entire picture".
"Status report: Counter measures are being put in place. The tablet has been disconnected form the main database, credentials have been raised on all other fronts and the Sledgehammer frequency has been identified and locked to the tablet in question... Remaining time until firewall breach now stands at : Four minutes and thirty seconds"
"You have got to be kidding me! Already? I knew this was a trap but damn!" Clair took a few seconds to think on the subject before responding again "For now it seems as though who ever is on the defensive is yet to know we've already decided that this tablet would be our target considering how they tried so hard to isolate the frequency. Perhaps they think we're after something else, that gives us time to make a decisive blow when they ponder what exactly we're up to... not four minutes though..... dammit I should have stayed at my keyboard....Eirene this tablet can you read it's processing power give ma a ratio to your own?"
"The tablet in question has a processing power approximately one quarter that of my own at current. The processor is presumably military tech as no such processor is commercially available."
Slowly but surely a grin began to form on Clair's face, this was starting to get fun.
"Eirene cancel the sledgehammer protocol. Divert three quarters of your processing power to overloading the tablet's systems. Once it's too swamped to react hit it with sledgehammer again at full whack!"
"Clair, I am obligated to tell you that this operation runs a high risk of failing should the tablet reconnect with the main database."
"I'm well aware but thats all part of the fun. execute the command"
"Executing"

One second passed, then two, then three. After ten Clair was staring to worry. The girl remained calm and compose externally though as she didnt want anyone catching on to her actions. She wanted to at least see this through to the end before being caught.
"Operation successful, Firewall compromised and tablet invaded... Awaiting command"
"Eirene you really are a beautiful son of a bitch! Start downloading anything classified as essential and pull me the information of the owner, stream it to my glasses"
"Right away, time until total extraction: one minute"
As the personal information of the owner was brought before Clair she couldn't help but grin widely
"That's faster than normal.... well whatever! I win...suck it....Mc Clusky....Chief Technician....WAIT CHIEF TECHNICIAN!"
"WARNING WARNING WARNING ENERGY SURGE DETECTED"
"Eirene you idiot shut down all systems and disconnect"
"Disconnecting..... Powering down"
And with Eirene offline the only pipe that water was left to flow through was that of her glasses.....

The surge came like a raging waterfall, the sheer sound alone would have been enough to make Clair wince in pain had she not been ready for it's impact. The surge lasted all but five seconds and in those few seconds it managed to completely destroy the inside of glasses Clair was wearing. Not only that but Clair was also feeling quite concussed but was holding her outwardly appearance quite well. That was until blood began to slowly trail out of her ears. Looking up toward the stand Clair's eyes met those of Mc Clusky for the first time and with that Clair couldn't help but laugh cheerfully "Ara Ara, It seems I let my guard down, you win".

FINNEGAN BROWN

"Its not your first time here, is it? You seem hesitant on something" Blaire asked.
Am I that obvious? Finnegan wondered. His mind traveled through his memories as he settled on one which hadn't yet gathered dust. It wasn't an episode he was particularly fond of, but he had long accepted it. The jist of it was that it had happened around a time when he and his batch mates were practising with their Phantoms for an assessment. He got into a heated argument with one of them right before the test. As luck would have it, they were paired off into combat. Finnegan was already enraged when they started, but as time went in battle, he lost control- triggering H.A.D.E.S. into Berserk mode.

The next thing he knew, he was tied on a hospital bed, his poor competitor in casts battling for his life, and the place that they fought in was cordoned off. "I'm afraid you're not ready yet..." Claimed the official who spoke to him to take a formal statement of what happened. Finnegan had claimed that he blacked out in that period and didn't remember what happened. But he was well aware of every move that he had made, every punch and kick he threw. He was not in control of his actions, but he sure was aware of it.

"Yeah... I don't think I am," He said coarsely. He requested to be dropped from the program. They were going to have him under scrutiny after the incident and he didn't see the point of staying when he had painted a big target on his back anyway. Finnegan went back home and took his time to figure out how to control himself. He figured that it was his 'teenage hormones' that angered him. But he knew that if somehow it had happened again... No, he figured that it shouldn't happen again.

"I don't know what it is but you seem uncomfortable talking about it, I won't pry further" Blaire's words snapped him from his thoughts.
"It's not that I'm uncomfortable. It's... kinda heavy," He said, shoving his hands in his pocket and shrugging. "If I tell you now, then we'd run out of things to talk about. You'll know, eventually." He said.

Tsuki smiled, tossing her hair, "I'll take that as a compliment. I don't think you mean it, but I'll bite." She giggled.

Bisila gave Tsuki a toothy grin "But ruling here does sound fun~, I'm impressed you could come up with that. I thought your brain was as small as you are but you proved me wrong"
Tsuki was worried that she and Bisila wouldn't get along, but the latter proved her wrong. She didn't mind the snarkiness either, it helped balance things~ like how a little pinch of salt can make any dessert sweeter. "You know what, you're not bad at all," nodded Tsuki, giving Bisila a look of approval.

BLAIRE PHOBIA

The more he observed Finnegan right now, the more he feels like the blonde-haired boy is burdened by something, Blaire look back to where he is walking, silent and seemingly solemn, his usual confident looking smile when talking to Finnegan faded, Blaire felt he should comfort Finnegan but he is afraid of speaking the wrong choice of words so he kept quiet as they continue walking out the front lobby. Various students can be seen walking out of the dorm lobby, some are with their cliques, some are alone but one thing for sure is most of them are excited. Before they reached the exit, Blaire turned around and faced Finnegan "You know, we just met today and this might seem...awkward of me but if you need anything, don't hesitate for my assistance" he gave a new reminder to Finnegan.

Flashback---------

"Brother!" a voice yelled out, the doors slammed open behind Blaire, Blaire was playing a game in his handheld device, he noticed someone running towards him, it's his Older Brother, he stands up faces his brother "Big Bro Blaine, what's with the ru-" before he was able to finish his sentence, Blaine, his older sibling suddenly embraced Blaire, Blaire just stood there confound from what just transpired "Big bro, that's very affectionate of you, what's wrong?" he said jokingly but his humorous nature was then short lived when Blaine's mouth opened and says something very quietly. Blaire looked at his older brother, something unimaginable happened, slowly, his tears starts to swell from his eyes, his brother sobbing and clutching tightly, on his knees.

End of Flashback---------

Blaire remembered a memory which reminded him to share each others burdens. Blaire faced towards the exit before sighing "Well that was very cheesy" he said then resumed walking.

S. McClusky
Technical Instructor
Orientation, Lone Pine Academy

Uasal Uasal Nessi Nessi

Pride, it seems, was the ultimate enemy. Even McClusky was no stranger to the gratifying sensation of accomplishments. However, said intrinsic reward was fleeting. The school's archives were at risk. All that remained was a lingering sense of relief. McClusky breath steadied gradually, and her amazements and intrigues were met in the apparatus of a tall, white-haired figure, of whom was residing among the sea of empty seats. Their eyes locked onto one another. Amethyst and turquoise glares clashed, like fire and ice. The prior filled with a certain sense of dissatisfaction and perhaps some disdain, despite their composed demeanor to cope with the ringing sensation in their ear. McClusky's plan was more or less a success, albeit with much surprise. One of their students was capable of such a magnificent feat. Surely inimical, but possessing much potential.

Sharp gazes, a prolonged convention of two formidable opponents. No words were exchanged between them. McClusky felt it unnecessary to take physical action against the culprit, now that she learnt of their disposition as a student. For as long as one can see, they would see one another on a daily basis. No damage were done, at least to the Academy's systems anyways, sparing the case of the girl's ears.

McClusky chuckled slightly under her breath, as her index and middle fingers leveled where her cap was. She then threw a half-salute gesture towards the white-haired girl. An act of notified respect and perhaps an impending attention that her opponent would surely wanted to acknowledge. A courteous smile from McClusky followed. To confront them would only rub it against their face. McClusky was not the type to go out of her way to do so, especially when her plan barely worked on a woman's peculiar sense of intuition. Besides, this particular incident would serve to benefit McClusky an improvement on the Academy's cybersecurity division, and perhaps a future head of Lone Pine's Cybernetic Department.

Before long, Aron's inquiry caught McClusky's attention. It was a total loss for both her phone and tablet. But such was the fate of materialistic things - to break down, only sooner or later.

"Oh! Of course, Mr. Roshelle! Just my luck to have both my devices brew a fire unfortunately. After all, they're two generation older than the current ones." she replied with a convincing sigh to follow.

The woman gave Aron a flustered smile, quite elated to see him consumed her protein bar. Looking out for one another was a certain characteristic that McClusky was fond of at Lone Pine.

"Once the morning is sorted out, I'll treat ye to lunch, how's that? Fufufu~" she continued, proposing to pay for Aron's lunch, with a reticent giggle.

Briefing a glimpse again at the student from before, McClusky was sure to have a word with them later. It's not everyday for a student to hack into the school's network, and a clearly intelligent one at that. McClusky then wrapped up her devices and placed them in her satchel. It was an interesting way to start her morning, she thought. It seemed that this semester's batch of students was already showing great promises.

Alexander entertained himself for the moment by looking around the room. Four exits nearby, seven entryways to keep in mind, number of allies in close on the rise. The sunroof ceiling made for a serviceable backup exit/entry. The teachers relaxed, chatted or tapped away at tablets. The chairs came equipped with a little box on the side. A few pokes later, the box folded out into one of those tiny chair bound tables. Neat.

Two things happened at once. A teacher’s tablet convincingly burst into flames. Behind them, someone’s glasses decided they much rather live a short and interesting life as a flashbang grenade.

Alexander shot out of his seat, instantly ready for a fight. Rage flared up, visible in orange strands that coiled around his arm like flames. Who dared attack here? Now?! He whirled around for a target only to find a befuddled girl with blood pouring out of her ears and shocked students. No targets. Adrenalin howled in his ears and demanded blood, yet there were no targets.

His face changed from ready to confused, and his head whipped back and forth between the teacher with the flaming tablet to the girl with the bleeding ears. What was that? WHO was that?!

… Why was that?

First order of business, he called off his summons. The flames that danced around him whiffed out, Surtr would not help right now. Secondly, he sheepishly put down the table he’d torn off the chair. He'd fix it later. Hopefully. They had duct-tape around here surely. Finally, blood from the ears, that's the sort of injury someone should take a closer look at. Someone who knew what they were doing. Where the hell was a medic?

"I'll take that as a compliment. I don't think you mean it, but I'll bite." Tsuki giggled. Bisila chuckled. She had actually meant it. Her face was the sort they used on kiddie ads or anime merchandise.
They continued walking for a bit, throwing insults at eachother on the way. "You know what, you're not bad at all," nodded Tsuki, giving her a look of approval.
"I mean, of course, you reek of rebellious teenager, but I think I like it." Bisila chuckled again. She had to admit, she wasn't bad either. She had some really nice insults and snark and wasn't as annoying as she had thought in the beginning.

"Well, you are kinda strange. I've met people like you and all of them ended up running away screaming." Bisila smiled "I guess you're also not-so bad. Emphasis on guess" Her smile became mischivieous once again "That doesn't mean I'll be nice to you though~"

They got to the audiotorium just in time to see a woman who looked like a teacher's tablet catch fire. Bisila made her way to one of the chairs and looked over at Tsuki

"Do you wanna go to the front so others won't block you?" She then smirked "Or do you want to sit on my lap?"

Seiho had finally finished putting everything away and was on his way to Mizuki's dorm. As he was walking to the girl's dorm, he tried to remember which dorm was hers. "Hmmmmm... Was it 202? No... That doesn't sound right.." He thought. He dug his hand into his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper. "Good thing she wrote it down for me so I wouldn't forget."

Don't forget it's dorm 203! -

"203. That's what it was." The boy arrived at the girl's dorm and found dorm 203. He gave it a gentle knock.

Though her thoughts immediately landed to her thinking that her fellow roommate was gonna murder her with it, the cheerful murderer type what a perfect day. She sighed a bit as she let her head down back onto her bed, though her suspicions soon got push out when she said she wished to do training with her bat and not brutally murder her. Without even moving her head she began to speak a bit deciding to play along "I don't think you would have enough time to get a full on training session in before they call us to Orientation, especially since it would take quite a bit of time to actully find and walk towards the training room. Plus i have no idea how they will announce that its time to go to the Orientation room could be them yelling in the dorm hallways or intercom announcement. Also what type of training do you even plan on doing that involves the use of a bat?" they last question had a more curious tone to it than the last but her nervs were a bit more calmed down now that she feels that her roommate is likely not gonna try to kill them.

Nil shifted the bat onto both shoulders, looping her arms around the back as she began to twist her torso, as if limbering up for a workout that was due to take place then and there. The other girl's question puzzled her somewhat, though the only indication of such on her otherwise still-cheerful face was the slight knitting of her brows. "Wha'dya mean? The same kind of training everyone else is gonna do! We're basically only here for one thing anyway..." Her mood seemed to dip for a split second, the downward turn in her voice coupling with a moment's hesitation at the apex of a leftward stretch. Then, as quickly as the cloud came, it passed away, leaving entirely sunny skies once again.

"...Besides! If I'm not gonna have enough time to get some training in, who says that you're gonna have enough time to take a nap?" Nil asked, pulling the bat from her shoulders as she finished her final twist. She spun it in the air again, before planting it firmly against the ground with a loud metallic clang. "Who knows--the second that you close your eyes they might call us to the auditorium, and then you'll have to live knowing that you didn't get to do anything at all! We might as well make the most of the time we've got, don't you think?"

Ibarra Tarmaco

And just like that. His Roomate went on a seperate journey of his own. Ibarra did not catch his motives but he sure didn't seem worry either. He feels that Seiho was an independent boy like him. He can tell. Now alone in his Dorm. Ibarra peered towards the dorm window.

He saw the outside world. The clouds, tides and grass all captivated him. He was in a trance peace. He felt safe here, gone are the days of sleeping under a cardboard box in the rain. No more looking for wild animals to eat anywhere. Most importantly, he doesn't have live alone anymore. He was tired yet resilient to life. He neber had the chance to live normally like he dreamed. He was thankful for the dorm he had, His new roomate and a new life.

He looked into his room once again. He can't believe he'd see the day where he gets to sleep in a normal bed. It was amazing. The bed felt soft and warm for him. The moment he sat in it feels like wanted to lay his head against the mattress. He felt a little happy for his state of life now but this no time to idle. He was curious to see the academy as a whole!

Ibarra left the Dorm room, unlocked but not wide open as he holds idea how to lock a door and just went on with just closing with a gap on the door. The hallways were rather empty and it's just him for miles. He cannot see another human being.

The boy began to wander around on his own without guidance. Ibarra wandered the halls looking at the other vacant dorm rooms. Some he even tried to open but failed as it is locked. He looked at the light bulbs in the ceiling of the halls and wonder how they operate. Little did the boy know, he was actually heading straight towards the orientation event. He was only a turn to the left away. But before he could do so his eyes caught some thing. The boy's bathroom. Entering it without a second thought he opened the door and saw a huge mirror in the rest room. There, he saw himself. He was exhausted, messy and in need of a haircut.

"This is what i look like? That's me? I have one eye. Forgot."

The boy tried to touch his reflection's hand but all he felt was the cold glass mirror. It seems that Ibarra had forgotten the appearance of his own face. It's been so long since he saw his own face. That's how long he was isolated to world. He focusing more of his poor lifestyle rather than his appearance. He saw his own clothes. It was old, outdated and lost it's original sky blue color. Now it's a toned down blue undershirt and shorts.

"I want Seiho clothes..."

He said to himself under his breath, a retired tone to be specific. The boy felt envy of his roomate's fashion, speaking of roommate. His curiosity tingled his mind again and this time, to search for his roomate. Where on earth would they be? Can he even find him? These are the questions that ran in his head when he stepped out of the restroom.

The boy wandered to left side of hall. There je was! One step away to the orientation. The thing is, he stopped and think, right in front of the auditorium's door. He tried to gather his thoughts there. Although, his search quest was distracted when he tried read the word "AUDITORIUM" Really stops Ibarra on his tracks.

School Entrance Ceremony

From the wings of the stage, a woman appeared. She obviously wasn't a student and looked old enough to be a teacher. “Dear freshmen, welcome to Lone Pine!” She stood center stage with a mic in front of her, and cut off all conversation with her words. As she spoke, noise in the auditorium ceased.

“I am the headmaster of Tactical Defense Academy Lone Pine, Mika Amemori. I will be conducting this ceremony. My darling students, first and foremost, I’d like to congratulate you on your entrance to Lone Pine. I will now describe the school facilities as well as the schedule you will abide from today forward.” The following proceedings were quite straightforward. The school facilities were detailed in pamphlets found in their rooms. And with that, along with some other detailed facts about the school, the ceremony had drawn to a close.

1585504806463.png Ariva thought about what their roommate was saying for a moment as if contemplating on what to quip back "Well we could just skip it and ask other students on what happened during orientations." though that would be a double edge sword since she could use that same excuse against her too. Ariva sighed a bit before relenting to her roommate who seemed to really want to proceed on towards training. "Fine, but just a few minutes of rest first, even the smallest amount of energy could really help in the long run." She said so a bit more flippantly as she moved her feet onto the bed to make it so that her whole body was now on the bed. Though the fact that her roommate had a bat in hand still had her a bit on alert, though she kept a semi relaxed position, honestly though her cheery attitude was a bit unerving to her especially with that bat in hand. Though it seemed they may be bit of oppisites to each other with her proactive nature compared to her relaxed nature.
