I'm recruiting on behalf of a little roleplay called "A Razor That is Occam". Looking for advanced roleplayers.
The urban metropolis that is Occam is anything but simple. Crime and corruption are always found in a large city but this one is coupled with another...unique complication. People known as "Contractors" have been part of the world for many generations. These unique individuals are born with a peculiar birthmark somewhere on there bodies, it is a link to their unique abilities. Life of course goes on in the not so distant future and Contractors are not better off than any other person. They still deal with all the troubles that life brings them: technological advancements, war, racism, crime, and trying make a niche for themselves in life. However, as of late Occam has had a particularly large amount of violent crimes happening within the last few months.....
Important info:
Uniques: Each unique has an ability. This can range from binocular vision to the ability mold rocks with their hands. A unique also has a birthmark on their body that is the symbol for what they are. They also have a habit, which is typically detrimental, that occurs after a use of their ability. For instance if a Unique can enhance his strength for five minutes then they may have the "habit" of dislocating their limbs for the same duration of time they used their abilities. Uniques are human and must age and can die in the same ways most humans can, the only difference is that manipulating their birthmark in some way has shown to harm them in someway, such as leading to sickness, fatigue, memory loss, or even death.
The Overall Theme: This RP is based off of crime/espionage, this of course doesn't mean your character NEEDS to be directly involved with this but do try and remember that it is a large part of the RP.
