Wolfe's work was meticulous and complex. Simply cutting them away wouldn't work and he'd risk causing severe brain damage if he did. Honestly his best bet was to clone her natural body and move her conciounsess. When the exploratory surgery was done he let her know that he could grow her a new body just like how she used to be and move her too it. That it was her safest and most assured option.

-in an iron works Doctor V was gathering materials and melting down metal. he made sure every entrance was sealed and locked up tight so no one could get in and even strapping bombs to the workers in case someone did try to stop them. He pours molten metal into an assortment of containers and began loading them onto a truck with his clones-
(C's will be known as the clones)
Clone 1: "C3 hurry up we don't know how long we have left till the alarm system is back online"
C3: "i'm going as fast as I can...there that's all of em"
"good take 4 or 5 workers. we'll use em as hostages"
C6; "what about the rest?"
"the hero's and cops will be occupied trying to defuse the bombs let alone getting in....remember take the planned out routes of shit hits the fan try to lose em. we can't fuck this up people....schools wills be running so i'll take the bus. the rest of you take the assigned trucks" -Doc v got in and put the bus in neutral quietly rolling down a slope and onto the edge were he then started up the bus and drove down the road...in the windows small children would be seen but they were merely props some even animated to.....1 minute later the alarm from the iron works goes off-
