Everyone 100 years a contest takes place between 10 special people. These people are from ancient bloodlines. The contest is known as the Summoner's War, and the winner is given a perfect wish. This wish can be granted when only one Summoner remains alive from the original pool. Make no mistake, the winner has the power to change the world in any way they see fit, and so the threat of great evil enveloping the world is very real.
The story begins just after the war starts. Our characters will be two Summoners, they will spark an uneasy alliance in order to survive. But what lies in store for them? Lets find out.
Mechanics:
A Summoner is someone with the power to call forth a great magical beast, and command its power effectively.
Aeons are huge and very powerful creatures, capable of vast destruction. However, their power comes directly from their Summoner, so if the Summoner is weak so to are the Aeons. When Aeons use their magic and power, it tires out the Summoner proportionally. When an Aeon takes damage, the Summoner can feel it. When an Aeon takes too much damage, it will disappear back to its native dimension for a considerable time. Aeons can be destroyed if they take too much damage before they are able to retreat. Aeons are conscious creatures, and can reject the Summoner's commands, or even turn on them.
