Two children from different families are chosen for an experiment. They are given “powers”, though they’re taught not to reveal their abilities to the public. [muse a] grew up resenting their powers, while [muse b] is a delinquent using their powers to their advantage. Both thinking they’re alone, they were planned to meet when they turned eighteen. When the two are alone, however, they devise a plan to run away together. it’s not long until they’re wanted fugitives.

It’s awfully quiet in the small town of Westbrook. Lately, rumors have began to resurface regarding the woods surrounding the town. Most who visit on foot never return, but those who do bring back horror stories about terrifying creatures lurking about the surrounding woods. The local urban legend has been thought to be a hoax, perhaps to keep the children from wandering too far into the woods. No one has been paying too much attention to it until now.
The Children of Westbrook have began to go missing. [muse a] is an outcast, and [muse b] has been skeptical of these stories—their younger siblings have both gone missing recently. As a last resort, [muse b] has been seeking out [muse a] for what they unfortunately share in common.
