Unfortunately for him, Sirius takes after appearance from his father; dashingly good looks and a wicked charm. His tousled black hair is curly in nature, making it incredibly difficult to maintain though he certainly spends the time on it. (James often bitches about the amount of time he spends holed up in the bathroom every morning. Sirius' hair products nearly take up a whole shelf). He often lets the curls loose, sometimes tying it back in a ponytail or up in a messy bun. His features are rather angular, although he maintains a certain amount of softness to them— making him less intimidating than he seems. When paired with his steely grey eyes you can't help but be charmed by his boyish good looks.
His style is all edge and nothing in between. Black on black on black. When he's not in robes he's sporting muggle fashion, leather jackets and ridiculously tight pants. Rings adorning multiple fingers and a hoop earring in his right ear. He's even charmed a myriad of tattoos to adorn his arms and torso, though he's gotten in his fair share of trouble when they show.

Sirius is the walking, talking text book definition of a Casanova, or more commonly… womanizer or -izer for that matter. He doesn't discriminate. Everything about him oozes charm, poise and seduction. Sirius is undoubtedly handsome young man, with a casual, lazy grace in him. It usually takes a good thwap on the head from one of his mates to get his head back on straight once he's found someone or something to fixate to. He has a natural magnetism. His looks, voice, mannerism drawn everyone in. While on the outside Sirius seems to exude a loving personality, he has no desire in love, he doesn’t even know if he’s capable of love. His past history have left him a bit... broken in that department in a multitude of ways. Though he hides it exceptionally well. There are only a few people in his life that truly get to see the real Sirius.
Sirius is also very observant and perceptive. The art of seduction has a lot to do with reading people on a level higher than most others. Subtle things like body language, the tone of their voice or what clothing they wear are all little triggers. He tallies them up and uses them to mold himself into the person that person desires most. He’s a chameleon. Although, never capable of blending in and being overlooked, he can become whomever he wants. This makes it difficult for a lot of people to actually know the true him. His friends do, but beyond that he’s simply Hogwart's ideal Prince Charming.
His confidence, although irritating quite often is also magnetic. It's not that Sirius is overly arrogant or cocky. He will not be found strutting around gloating over his latest achievement or rubbing it in the face of others. But he walks with an ease and smiles with an openness that imitates a person who is not afraid of himself. Although deep down, a sense of true identity is what he craves more than anything in the world. One thing his father taught him, 'Be careful who you share your weaknesses with. Some people can't wait to use them against you.'
Sirius has always been easily swept off his feet, although nothing ever really lasts for him anyway. With his materialistic ways he has a hard time taking anything serious, making him rather careless in his life and relationships. Once he does find something genuine though, it's incredibly hard to shake him off. He's ridiculously loyal and will always take the fall for his friends no matter the situation. He's also caring— being the one to propose the idea of becoming animagi for Remus once they learned of his lycanthropy.
Sirius is ridiculously passionate about most things, often too much for his own good. It's mainly the reason he got sorted into Gryffindor— his stupid sense of bravery. Charming and energetic, he has a bold presence and knows how to work a room. (Perhaps to McGonagall's dissapointment). He's constantly getting himself into loads of trouble whether it be releasing a small army of toads in the Slytherin Common Room, or exploding fireworks in the middle of the Great Hall. Not one to sit around debating the meaning of life, he prefers to be out there taking action and going on adventures.
Sirius had always been desperate to escape the abusive, suffocating environment of Grimmauld Place and if it hadn't been for Regulus, he would've ran sooner. For most of his life friendships or any type of bond were merely superficial, until he met the Marauders. They were some of the first people in his life who chose to see him other than a wealthy, purist brat. Sirius had always longed for the feelings of "genuineness", and felt like with the others he'd finally found it. Although years of abuse and neglect is hard to completely erase, and Sirius feels as if there will always be a piece of him missing. He's constantly trying to prove himself as worthy even though that feeling of pride will possibly be unattainable in his life. He tries to make up for it in mending the broken relationship with Regulus before he graduates, but he's already completely cut himself off from his family entirely.
As much as he tries to be however, Sirius isn't perfect. His laugh is quite atrocious sounding, he hiccups when he's nervous, and when he's really frustrated, he bites the knuckle on his right index finger. Tiny little quirks that you begin to notice once you've been around him long enough. Perhaps, they are little cracks in his infrastructure, a mere peek into the awkward lonely little boy that's always been inside him. The idea of graduating has changed some part of him, now more than anything in his life he's determined to find a meaning behind it all— no matter what it takes. Whether it be something or someone. He's intent on letting his guard down now that he is in his last year of Hogwarts, the only place that has ever truly felt like home. Perhaps they will be shocked by his new take on life or see right through him. The charming playboy still exists it's a part of him that he never might fully leave behind but there's no denying that he's trying to be better.

The Beginning
Sirius Black III was born on 3 November 1959, in the London borough of Islington, England, to Orion Black and Walburga Black, both of whom were Dark wizards and second cousins. He was the last remaining heir of the House of Black, a once-notable pure-blood wizarding family. The Black family believed strongly in pure-blood elitism. They refused to consort with Muggles or Muggle-borns, Squibs and blood traitors and even disowned Squib family members, such as Sirius's great-uncle Marius Black, and insisted that their family members only marry within respectable pure-blood classes; because of these beliefs, they were forced to marry their own cousins.
A Lion Amongst Snakes
Growing up, Sirius and his brother, Regulus, were ruthleslessy trained by their father. In dueling, flying, everything under the sun. Orion wanted his children to be diligent soldiers for the new order that he believed was going to rise. When they were younger things were a little easier. Regulus and Sirius were as thick as thieves, often finding comfort in each other when their parents would lash out. Sirius promised to protect his younger brother, making plans for them both to run away once he could scrounge up enough money for them to stay somewhere. It wasn't until Sirius went to Hogwarts that their relationship began to deteriorate. Sirius had been sorted into Gryffindor. It was an absolute disgrace to the Black family name and his mother sent him a Howler so loud that a window had burst into a million pieces in the Great Hall. For a while he was entirely unsure about his fate up until the day he met James Potter. The other was a whirlwind and for once in his life Sirius found someone who truly understood him in a way that other's didn't. The first year at Hogwarts went by too quickly and he left it feeling better than he had in years. Sirius was so excited to tell Regulus all about it, secretly hoping that his younger brother would also be sorted into Gryffindor. Sirius even put permanent-sticking charms of Gryffindor banners, as well as pictures of Muggle girls in bikinis and motorcycles, as well as a picture of himself and his Gryffindor friends on the walls of his room to emphasize his differences from the family and annoy his parents.
Broken Ties
Unfortunately, that summer back harbored the worst memory from when he was thirteen. He had just came back home from his first year at Hogwarts and was overjoyed at how much fun he had. It was an escape from his home life, and he almost forgot the terrors he was returning to. His father insisted that the start back up training again, much to Sirius' dismay. Orion, sensing the push back from his son believed that he needed to kick it up a notch and brought out Regulus' pet rabbit, Gemma. "Kill it". Sirius was horrified at what his father wanted him to do. And to make matters worse, he almost did. The unbridled fear he held for his father had almost pushed him farther than he'd wanted to go. But he couldn't bring himself to do it. He had never seen his father more furious in his entire life. It was then, that Orion struck him with the Cruciatus curse, and for the most part Sirius can't remember much from the rest of that night. Pieces of his memory seemed to fill in the gaps. Regulus had dashed down the stairs and screamed for their father to stop and in the process had the pain turned on himself. Orion had struck Regulus with some kind of spell, Sirius didn't know what it was, but his brother didn't get up off the ground.
New Beginnings
Regulus had been bed-bound for most of the summer up until his first year and he refused to speak to Sirius. At one time he thought that he might be able to escape with his brother, but seeing the look on his face after he was sorted into Slytherin told him everything he needed to know. The years following brought even more strain between Sirius and his family. They continued to fall deeper into Voldemort's teachings which meant Sirius spent more and more time at the Potters. Sirius rejected his parents' values, leading to conflict with his family. It wasn't until his sixth year that he finally stopped returning home for breaks and summer. He had pretty much moved in with James and his parents, becoming more close to the Potters and the Marauders— his newfound family.
