with the bus stopping margate looked through the window at the people out there same weird language plastered across the rather drab jumpsuits they where wears it must be some sort of code atlest Margate was convinced of it, turning her attention to the aisle of the bus there was a portal of some description in her way, great this seemed like a bad idea to walk through considering everything although she did remember one of the boys...his name was Dante right? He made those portal things didn’t he?

“Hey you sure it’s a good idea to be making those things in a confined space? I mean what if someone accidentally walks through you sure they will be ok?” She asked the boy as he was helping that other girl Margate could tell she atlest had some sort of sight impairment although she couldn’t remember she got her name or not.

Darrick nodded along with Dante, not knowing tacos was a bit sad though Darrick understood, if someone said they didn’t know what Mochi or Green Tea, he would react the same way.
Darrick listened as Dante explained their surroundings, an eyebrow arching at the intricate detailing he was including, and offered his own insight to their surroundings.

As they pull up to the building in the center of the campus, a large glass building so tall it was hard to see the top without looking straight up. Dante offered to create a shortcut for them and Darrick followed him through, a small bout of vertigo surging in him from the sudden change in scenery and ambient temperature and atmosphere. Looking up from his shoes after re-gaining his composure Darrick noticed the three girls standing in front of the building.

"Looks like the welcome committee is he-", Darrick couldn’t get the rest of his sentence out before two of the three girls started talking. In the way their words cut and the tone they used Darrick has an instant dislike for them. Before Darrick could react or speak, the others in the group began to protest and Dante walked up to the girl in the middle, and started to cause a fuss, pulling a teddy bear out of his portal and holding it out to the her.

"Oh crap…." Darrick had to react fast, otherwise something dangerous could happen very, very soon. As a way to help, Darrick shot his arm out, his shadow stretching fast and growing by bouncing from the shadows of the other students before shooting out towards Dante and pulling up from the ground to become a black claw in the air that then reaches Dante and wraps around his waist.

"That’s going to far bro." Darrick says, as he closes his hand and pulls his arm back the shadowed claw pulls on Dante's waist, pulling him back to where Darrick and Johanna, the claw melting back into his shadow as it retracts back to Darrick.[/div]

Anastasia let out a long sigh of relief as the bus finally came to a stop in front of the school. The trip had been a long one for her, much longer than it needed to be. Being from Russia, her country shared a direct border with Mongolia. All they had to do was fly her straight down in an hour or less. But instead they shipped her off to Italy first. Although the sights were beautiful she would’ve preferred to just arrive quicker. Hopefully whoever ran the school was smarter than the person who was in charge of transportation... Finally able to stretch her legs she grabbed her belongings and made her way towards the exit of the bus.

Anya stepped out of the bus and immediately looked to the school in front of her. It was like nothing she had ever seen before, almost like it was ripped straight from the future. The inside must be even more interesting and she couldn’t wait to get inside and scope it out. They probably sat on hover seats and slept in advanced zero gravity beds. She wouldn’t even be surprised if a flying car came zooming by at some point. However her attention was ripped away from the schools by the commotion just up ahead.

Wanting to get a better view at what was going on, she pushed her way through the crowd of students to see 3 girls standing and talking. What they were saying was an absolute mystery to Anastasia, but she didn’t like the tone. It was obvious that whatever they were saying wasn’t nice. She couldn’t help but scoff at this, unable to wrap her head around whoever’s decision it was to send these 3 as the greeting party. Maybe whoever was in charge of transportation made this decision too. Anya was tempted to shake one of their hands and give them a little shock, but forcefully refrained herself, for now at least. Besides, two others had already jumped at the opportunity, one getting quite angry while the other tried to make a move. Amused, she squatted down and waited to see what might happen.

Outside school grounds
Chilly night lots of stars
Heather,Erica,Heza

The group became slightly overwhelmed with the sudden approaches made towards them. The trio so use to being above it all it had been a while before anyone tried to speak to them out of terms, let alone approach them so comfortably. Heather's face was downright appalled. She looked at girls hand turning her nose up in disgust. She then sharply turned her head from the girl to the guy coming at them with a teddy bear. Without second thought she slapped the teddy bear out of his hand aggressively screaming a phrase in more gibberish. Yet by her reaction it was probably something along the lines of ‘get that shit out of our faces’. The most subtle of the three, Erica, did not show any signs of annoyance but she was agitated by the number of people surrounding her. She clenched her fist when the boy approached her with a teddy bear, happy that Heather had showed her aggression.

Heza being the chipper out of the three was the first to break the tension. Saving the girl the girl from the wrath of Heather she placed a small silver box in the girls outstretched hand. When she opened it there would be a small transparent half sphere with a stick side on the other end. Heza pointed to her neck showing where she had place hers. She then walked to the rest of the group handing them all the same box. Waiting for them all to place it on. There was a slight jolt then the sticker was barely noticeable. The effects of the jolt took effect and everyone (with sight) eyes became blurry, mouth dry, and ears popped. This effect lasted for a couple of breaths before things going back to normal. Once the vision cleared up students would notice the strange symbols written on the girls sweatshirt had taken shape to lettering, reading ‘Student council’.

“Let’s get this over with” Erica again seemed less than enthused about the whole situation

“You can all hear me now right?”

“Heza they could always hear us they just couldn’t understand us”

“Oh”

Well now that we are all on the same page...Shut up and listen cus I won’t repeat myself and there are no second chances.” Heathers comment got a giggle out of Heza who rejoined her place by Erica. “There are a lot of rules you must obey if you wish to attend this school, and you are expected to remember them all. No power usage while you are attending Hero Academy. Only when in training will you be instructed to do so.” Heather spoke to the group but looked directly at Dante. “No breaking curfew, no being out of uniform, and always do as your told. If you break these rules or fail to follow instructions you will get expelled, if you piss me off, you will get expelled.” Her attention then turned to Fern “And if you ever try to approach me again I will personally ruin your pathetic little life. Also there is no…"

“ Contraband! No street clothes, no food, no cellphones no...”

“Shut up Heza!”

Erica let out a sigh rolling her eyes at Heathers usual reaction to Heza's outburst. “Remove everything you have on hand.Leave your bags here empty your pockets remove your jewelry, leave your luggage on the ground”

As the students emptied there stuff Heza went to collect there belongs putting it in a bin.

"Question," she said raising a finger politely to make it more visible that she was, in fact, the one speaking "My power needs to be used so I don't lose the lower part of my spine, Also what if I use my power as a third limb? it's not really an active thing it's just a tail that glows sorry it's not really a question but could an exception be made? I mostly ask because I base a lot of movement off my tail and it would be super awkward if I no longer could." She emptied into the small bin being passed around ten bags of Cashews, not including the three she had already eaten which she simply dropped the wrappers in. "second off is Hero Academy really the name of the place? It seems kind of on the nose to say the least, couldn't you have simply called it 'We let people off for manslaughter if they have cool powers and was definitely an accident?'" She talked a lot with her hands framing out the last sentence by forming her thumbs and index fingers into a box and slowly dragging the box longer her vision following her upper hand as it pulled away from the last one. When she had finished speaking she turned her gaze down to her new supposed leaders.

Her amber eyes shined with a great deal of innocence and honesty in her statements even though she spoke like a text to speech device, her entire mode of dress, complexion, and even her stance with one leg tilted towards the other just cried of a sort of innocence only seen in the most trope driven of shows. Yet it was quite obvious she was mixing pointed bits of sarcasm in with her actual questions as her tail came unfurled from under her uniform and slid up behind her. It showed like an orange Neon light bar as seen in Las Vegas or other places normally associated with scum. It proved it's self much more flexible than appearances would hint at as it curled its self into a curvy question mark raising up from behind her like a banner. She lowered it after a moment but kept its long curvy form visible. Finally, when she brought it into a collar around her neck lowering down into a slender-bodied scarf it stopped dead becoming stagnant. it was slightly tucked under both her arms at bends in its body so she let her foot relax leaning fully on the tail in the stance and looking at them. She even increased the brightness a bit, not too much just enough to be a tad more visible, so that she could attract the attention of her new instructors.

Interaction: none
Carry on bag: Book, phone, charger, toothbrush, laptop, small digital camera, stuffed animal, one chocolate bar and a bag of dry shrimp.

Marianne took a small step back and held one of her tentacles closer as it wrapped around her arm, these girls frightened her. They were so mean to the girl and boy, they were just trying to be friendly. Oh her grandfather would be yelling up a storm if he would see her acting this way. She closed her eyes and she shook her head, no it did not matter! she was going to be able to be more herself here right?

The girl stared at the small silver box before her tentacles took the small box. Opening the small silver box she looked at the item inside. She was unsure about placing the half sphere oh her neck. She looked over to the other watching them take out the half sphere and place them on. She let out a small sigh letting go of her tentacle and picked up the half sphere. One of her tentacles gently lift her necklace pendent and moved it a bit to the side before placed the sphere on her neck. The feeling was strange and she did not like it, although as soon as it came it went away.

Opening her eyes she looked over towards the three girls and now surprisingly she could understand what the symbols on their uniforms meant. So they are from the student council, a bunch of meanies for students that should be helping other students. But she stayed quiet and listened to what they had to say. At the first rule she had some problems with that just as she noticed she was not the only one who thought that rule would be hard to follow for some. Although she would not die or get pain from not using part of her abilities like others might. Using her tentacles had become such a part of her life she was unsure if she could just randomly stop using them, and this worried her.

She became unsure with another rule, the one with not being without your uniform. She hoped this rule meant during the day time or did this mean that she was going to have to wear it to bed also, that just seemed uncomfortable. As Heather continued to speak to the group Marianne was one hundred percent sure that this girl was not to be messed with and she was quite scary.

The last subject is what hit her the most when stated. Nope she did not care about her street clothes or her snacks, although not getting the chance to eat her little dry shrimp made her sad. She even did not mind losing her electronic, not having something to escape to was going to be hard but she could always find something new to get into during her down time. But what hit her hard was not being able to have her stuffed whale shark with her at night and worst of all her sapphire pendant locket that she wore around her neck. The locket was something she held dear to her heart and contained a picture of her family. It was something she never took off and always wore no matter what and parting with it was going to be hard.

Everyone's items were starting to be collected and this made Marianne start to feel panicked. She took off her backpack and kneel on the ground. At this moment she did not care if the others saw her stuffed whale shark, she did not care if they started to laugh or even start making fun off her down the line. The short girl unzipped her bag and took out her whale shark and gave it a huge tight hug nuzzling her face into the plush. Taking a deep breath in and out she quickly places the whale shark back into her back zips it up and quickly places it into the bin. Turning her back to everyone she cupped her hand over her pendent holding it tightly within her hands not ready to let go of it. She held tightly to her necklace into the very last second and even having a hard time placing it in the bin, the whole time biting her lower lip as she held back tears.

Mily wasn't about to hand over all his money to some super hero school girls. What he had put in the bin were clothes, and left overs he had kept to save money on the trip, and a few pairs of clothes. "I'd say that's about all I have, will that suffice for you three?"
Mily smiled at the three hoping they wouldn't try and rob him of his money.

With more than a few others picking up on the tone of the Clique of Greeting, Arin got a front row seat watching them squirm as others called them out and approached them. Even if he thought extending a peace offering when they clearly didn't like any of them was a tad stupid. However, that struck him as something rather odd for a facility meant to train the best of the best into the next generation of heroes. Would they not have thicker skin or react differently to a group of irritated, travel fatigued newcomers? Before he could extrapolate on anything else, he was handed the odd device. "Oh, so it is a babel fish. Excellent." The side effects of device caused him to shake his head, trying to quickly rid himself of the disorientation. Once that had cleared up, Heather began her brief introductory speech.

During the speech, Arin noticed all the rules, ones he was personally quite familiar with. It was almost like he was, "...back in a center." He spoke under his breath, not wanting to alert the council over there. He had entered the reform program to get out of the detention centers for good, not get thrown into another. There was a palpable tension around him, he wanted to lash out so desperately, but he couldn't just attack or he would most certainly be kicked out. Instead he decided on a slightly more diplomatic approach. "I assume there's a student handbook or some other pamphlet where the rules are all written out, yes? If one does exist, I'd like to take a look. Also, while I'm asking questions, what is going to happen to all our things? I'd hope they get returned to us at some point." As he spoke he started walking through the gathered newcomers, making sure he stood out by standing just in front of the assembled new arrivals and making direct eye contact with Heather.

With getting off the bus and seeing the other students here Margate was not exactly the most enthusiastic at how the seemed to react, although the “translation tags” all but confirmed her theory about the gibberish being coded having to lift up a scale or two on her neck to try and at least get it into her skin it was more painful to lift and move the scales on her neck then the small jolt induced by putting it on although she didn’t exactly feel the electrical jolt but she did feel the other side affects. But finally she could understand what they where saying however rude a introduction it seemed to be, though the not using power thing got her a little worried that entropy field she had was sort of still there however it was not the most noticeable right now perhaps they understood that? Perhaps they had a way to nullify it? Unlikely if some place did her father would probably have had it applied to him as well. regardless it didn't matter much hopefully the welcoming committee was not a representation of how everyone would act right?

A clenched fist.

Language barriers aside, that was definitely a sign of agitation. Crap... That was the exact opposite of what he'd tried to accomplish. He was just about to take a step back when something wrapped around him.

The teddy bear left his hands, quickly spiked by the other girl as he was yanked back to Darrick and Johanna. "Well... that went much worse than I had hoped it would... Thanks Darrick." He rubbed the back of his head. This language barrier was going to be a hurdle... it didn't sound like any language he'd heard before, so he didn't know where to begin...

At that point, the third girl came around dispensing... what the hell were these things? "Looks like we need to put these things on our necks" Dante spoke out loud, filling Johanna in since she couldn't very well see.

God it was strange putting them on...

But at least now he could understand he was completely right in assuming that the one doing most of the talking was a first rate asshole. Still, he smiled, holding her gaze utterly unfazed as she all but called him out for using his powers. He shrugged his shoulders as a "my bad". After all, how was he supposed to know a rule he'd never been told?

As everyone started to drop their belongings, he took a moment to render the one apology that he felt was deserved.

"My apologies. I assumed there was a language barrier and was trying to work around it. I didn't mean to put you on the spot or make you upset." He spoke, holding one hand to his chest to give a sincere, straight backed bow out of respect to Erica. This time, though, he kept where he was instead of approaching and repeating his initial mistake.

Sure, he knew, judging by the first one's attitude that he'd likely be blown off or insulted. Still, this time he'd been in the wrong, and he preferred to own his mistakes. After all, his momma had raised him to own his mistakes. If she chose to hold a grudge, well, that was her deal, he'd done what he could at this point to prevent any bad blood.

As Heza reached his group with the bins, he turned out his pockets and shook out his sleeves to show he had nothing on hand.

Well....

He paused, picking up the spiked teddy bear he'd intended as a peace offering and dropped it in the bin. He didn't even have any luggage to be searched. It's like he just showed up with the clothes on his back.

For now, he contented himself to stay quiet, letting the others ask their questions as he made sure Johanna adjusted alright.

Johanna continued to stand there, completely unaware of what was going on. She could hear voices, some in a language she understood, but mostly in something she couldn’t recognize. Dante’s voice was the easiest to pick out, even though he couldn’t tell exactly where he was. Somewhere in front of her for sure. Darrick’s voice was closer, although she still didn’t know exactly where he was. Then all of a sudden Dante’s voice was much closer, almost in the span of an instant. It at the very least didn’t seem natural.

Panic started to set in as one by one, the voices changed to a language she couldn’t understand. “Wh-what’s going on?” She squeezed her walking stick tighter until something was prodded against her hand. It continued until she released her stick and held her hand open. She tucked her walking stick under her arm so she could feel the item. It seemed like it was some kind of small box with a seam in the middle. A fingernail tucked into it and the box popped open.

Inside, there was something flat. One side was sticky although when she touched it, she immediately pulled it away. Something about it made her nervous, even more nervous than she already was. Johanna was apprehensive in sticking the whatever it was on, even if Dante said that was what they were supposed to do. Barely brushing her finger over it had disturbed her finger and she wasn’t excited to have the entire thing pressed against her skin. But, she still did it. The feeling that followed wasn’t nearly as bad as she thought it would be, but it was still unpleasant for the short time it lasted. She assumed she was one of the last to put the stickers on, since she only caught the tail end of what was said. Remove everything you have on hand.Leave your bags here empty your pockets remove your jewelry, leave your luggage on the ground.

She had few belongings and took out the one thing in her pocket. It was whatever piece of paper she had been given on getting to the airport. The only other thing she had was the stick still tucked under her arm. The girl had said everything, but did that include the stick? She would hope not… but she still gave it up. She walked through the people until she thunked the bin with the stick and kaleidoscoped it back to the smaller size before putting it in. She now stood there, unmoving and unsure of what to do. She wasn’t the best at using it, but it was still the only thing she had to see. She wrung her hands together as she stood. “Will I… will I be able to get that back?” She was pretty unaware that the question had been asked by several other people.

Rosita just observed, keeping her comments to herself unlike most of the others. She was given some sort of sticker that she didn't initially understand the purpose of. Everyone started to stick them on and it seemed like those girls weren't going to press any further until they did. She stuck it onto her neck like the one girl had gestured, feeling the strange sensation come over her. She couldn't see, lost her orientation, and felt extremely dizzy for a moment but then everything became clear. The jumbled words on the sweaters because coherent matching up with the words she read from that journal. Her brown orbs trailed to the other members of the group, notably the ones who tried to approach the trio rather than keep their space. The one boy had the nerve to try to give them a teddy bear resulting in being insulted and belittled. Why does he keep trying, idiots these days. She shook her head as they gave their new instructions. Figures as much. She thought as she slung her backpack off and dropped it into the bin. The only things of importance on her were her phone, the pills she took to keep herself sound, and her wallet. Her suitcase only really had clothes and since she didn't think she was ever seeing that again she didn't really care at this point. Rosita was smart enough not to bring anything on this trip that she wasn't prepared to lose and besides that, it was late at night and she was exhausted. After walking back to the small group she felt a distinct whack against her ankle causing her brow to twitch in irritation. Her fist clenched shaking at her side trying to fight the inner demons saying to strangle that little girl. WHAT THE FU- In her head, she was fuming, ready to take that stupid stick, break it in two, and shove it so far up that girl's behind for smacking her ankle with the contraption. Had she not been standing at the gates of the institution she would've gone full pyro and burnt that girl to a charred undiscernable crisp. She just wanted to be done listening to the 'bad girls club' bicker at this point. She already didn't like them either and not because they were bitchy, rude, and had a complete disregard for anyone around them but because she saw them as actual competition. The others weren't too much of a threat, they were too fresh, these girls though had a position of power and the willingness to abuse it. "We'll be here all night with all of you arguing back and forth..." She mumbled under her breath as she let out an exhausted sigh.

He blinked a few times as the strange girl approached him, giving him a weird sticker to put on his neck. How would that help? He was curious about it but upon further inspection, he assumed it was something everyone wore here. He placed it on his neck without hesitation feeling the sting of transitioning. It was like when the optometrist dilates someone's eyes and they were completely disoriented for a minute, just ten times worse. As his visioned cleared up he noticed that things that were complete gibberish before became understandable. He got a headache afterward slightly rubbing his scalp with his hand as he listened to their next directive. His heart skipped a beat at the thought of losing his other bag. His medication was in there, things he used to keep himself calm at night, spare clothes, money, he didn't really have anything of significant importance other than his sleeping pills but he still would rather not lose anything else. He walked over next to a girl who was placing her belongings in the bin, she seemed a bit off but he figured out she was most likely blind from the walking stick. He dropped his backpack into the bin going close to the blind girl and gently taking her arm to lead her away from it, his hand kept against the center of her back to guide her. "I hope we get our stuff back too... I sort of need what's in my bag.." His voice was deep but clear and almost soothing as he spoke. His calm demeanor was usually what kept those around him from freaking out in uncomfortable situations. Levi looked back at the bin seeing the other items in there, what kind of people would take a blind girl's walking stick? She didn't seem too capable of getting around without it. "If we don't get our stuff back I'll take care of you. Well, I'll make sure you don't get left behind or walk into anything. Feel free to walk into me though, I wouldn't mind being close to someone as pretty as you." He joked as he let go of her when they were back amongst the group. He had a small smile, although she wouldn't be able to see, and was happy to be at her service. "My name's Levi by the way, I'm not very good at remembering to introduce myself." He whispered to the girl so he wouldn't interrupt the others.

Anastasia stood as the girl handing out the trinkets reached her, lifting a hand and taking it without saying a word. She wasn't quite sure what the little half-sphere could be, but she knew that it had to be equipped. The small jolt it gave didn't phase her at all, if anything it just fueled her powers a little. However the feelings that came shortly after were very unpleasant. It felt like she was drowning at the same time as dealing with high altitude, and she already dealt with enough of the latter today. Fortunatley the feelings were very short lived and the world returned back to normal. Or rather mostly normal. She could finally understand what they were saying, and the strange markings on their shirts finally had meaning. The little sphere turned out to be an all-in-one translator, which she found to be pretty radical.

As the student council listed of the rules of the school Anya couldn't help but look on with a sour expression. Everything seemed so strict, almost too strict. Part of her thought that maybe these girls were just making all of these rules up to mess with them, or control them.
What really surprised her was when they were instructed to place all of their belongings in a bin. Were they really going to get rid of everything they had? There was no way they would be allowed to do that. Part of her wanted to believe that they were just going to search their stuff and make sure that no one had any crazy weapons or stuff like that on them. Although another part of her believed that these girls were just gonna keep what they wanted for free. As the dark-skinned girl came around again to collect their stuff, Anya begrudgingly threw all her belongings into the bin, giving the collector a stern stare. She didn't have much on her, just a small bag of clothes, a phone and some other little things from home, yet if they returned her belongings and there was even one thing missing from it, she'd take it up with the girls directly. "You better not lose it."

She watched as everyone around her also forfeited their belongings to the bin, everyone reacting in their own ways. Some were angry, some were sad, but in the end they all submitted. One girl caught her attention however, a blue haired girl who looked on the verge of tears. She watched as the girl gave up her stuffed animal and her pendant, both obviously meaning a lot to her. Anya
wasn't one to go around comforting people for silly things like this, but seeing how those girls ripped into the other students trying to make peace, she couldn't imagine what they'd do to her. Plus it would definitely delay them from getting inside, which is what the she wanted the most right now. Shuffling over to the girl Anastasia placed a hand on her shoulder, giving her a gentle shake. "Don't worry girl, you'll get it all back." She said with a bit of an accent, crouching back down into her squat before continuing her sentence in a much more hushed voice. "I'm getting my things back even if they dont hand it over, and I'll be sure to grab your fish too if it comes to it."

Her head turned side to side frantically, trying to find Dante’s and Darrick’s voices over the crowd. She couldn’t quite make them out, but she didn’t want to start a scene by yelling at them. She was thankful that they didn’t go far and she let out a shaky breath when they stopped. I wouldn’t mind being close to someone as pretty as you. The statement almost made her breath catch, although it confused her more than anything. Her mouth opened, like she was going to respond, but no sound came out. His arms slipped away and she took an awkward step backwards, her fingers joining inside the overly long sleeves of her hoodie to fidget together. Her face felt hot. Well, her everything felt hot even in the cool night air.

“I..uh… what.” It’s like everything was a jumble inside her head. She didn’t really fully understand what pretty meant. It had been a long time since she had ever been shown anything like that and it was mostly flowers or other things in nature. Even then, the memories were really blurry. She kicked at the ground nervously. The fear was gone and was replaced by whatever this was, although she didn’t even know what to call it. She had been so caught up in her own head, that his whispered words made her jump and she took another stumbled step back. “Oh, uhm. It’s.. It’s nice to meet you. I’m uhm. I’m Johanna.” The words were half mumbled as she spoke. She could feel her heart racing in her chest and she hated it. “Do you uh.. know where we are?” She paused, trying to remember something from when she was at the airport. “Is this really a school? What’s it for?” She had never been explained where she was going or why. She had never had a choice in the matter so she typically just went where she was told.

Heza ignored everyone’s questions and gripes, giving a rather bubbly expression yet remaining unsympathetic at the same time. She took no regard in the respect for others belongings and tossed the bin on the ground and kicked it over to where the other two stood. As Heza turned away from the group she flipped her pigtails hitting Milly in the face. She didn’t seem to notice, or rather didn’t care to notice.

Heather rolled her eyes as people began to ask questions. “Do you never shut up? Am I going to have to spell this out for all of you idiots. I’m not your friend, or your buddy, or one of you losers. Don’t address me dont look my way. Just listen so I can be done with. Most of you all won’t make it past a semester, and from the looks of it none of you all will graduate. This is already a waste of my time don’t piss me off.”

“Having trouble?” A voice came out from the left of the group, even without seeing a face you could hear the authority behind it. Princeton came into view wearing the same sweatpants as the girls but had tied the sweat shirt around his waist revealing a basic white tank. “ he turned his attention to the group of new arrivals giving a formal smile. “Let’s skip the formalities we will have plenty of time for that tomorrow, let’s get you guys settled in.”

“We already gathered there stuff.” Heza gave out an eager report, the aloof female now focused on Princeton. Erica face remained blank but she did uncross her arms, and stood up straight. His presence had an immediate effect of the on the trio, Heather seemed annoyed by him being there but said nothing.

“I am sure you attempted to.” His tone was gentle but it was clear that he did not trust the abilities of his peers. “You all will be searched thoroughly to make sure that you did indeed give of your possessions. I hope you all choose carefully who to ally yourself with, it’s time to weed out the unpromising ones. Lets go” His voice was commanding but not pushy, it felt almost right to follow him, a natural born leader. The students had a short walk to through a portion of the campus. Princeton explained that there would be a tour tomorrow. Before the were allowed to enter the building labeled, student quarters they were instructed to take their shoes off, Princeton did not seem like the kind of person to joke around either. Unlike the others it was a safe bet to trust him. The interior was for the most part grey, except for rows of glowing white lights that seemed to be carved into the walls. It was very clean, not a single scuff on the floor or an overfilled trash bin. The group was led to the third floor passing by many hallways all in different colors. Princeton finally stopped them in front of a purple hallway.

“Your housing is located in the purple section.” He led them down the hall passing a UV glowing room where they caught a quick glance of a bowling alley, arcade, and a laser tag set up

“Girls on the right boys on the left.” The doors were motion censored, keeping up the same high-tech trend that should now be expected from the school. “You don't have access yet t anything so I will open the doors for you…” Princeton walked over to a tiny keypad at the entrance of each door and held his wrist up to it. On his wrist was a tiny silver bracelet, similar to the one Veronica was messing with before she hurried off the bus.

"If you walk back out you won’t be able to get in, breakfast is at 0500, being late is grounds for expellment. Remove your city clothes and change into your uniform, You all have lockers with your names on them in the shower room. Grey for down time, yellows for class.” Princteon waited for the students to enter the rooms before saying good night as the door closed. Once the students were through the door they would see a small hallway to the left that would lead into the shower room. Each student had a locker with there name on it built into the wall. Hanged up in the locker was three uniforms all yellow in color. There were two shelves on top, one holding an orange jumpsuit and the other a grey sweatsuit with the school name written in on the back of the top and down the right pants leg on the bottoms. The bottom of the locker housed two drawers, resting on top of the drawers was a pair of black boots, two pair of sneakers, and one pair of slippers.

Instead of beds students would fine pods at their disposal. Even there sleeping situation was something out of a scifi movie. The pods were about 14 feet in length and had enough room for the average person to sit up in. There were many features: the mood setting light, privacy door, mirror, tv, little storage shelf. They could also change the environment of there pods by cooling or heating up the bedding, the smell( rain, flowers, damp forest, pine etc) they could even choose to listen to some soft music or a relaxing thunderstorm among many other sounds to help fall asleep.

Marina lowered her head her blue hair draping down covering her face as she hugged herself. She now just waited for the three girls to continue, unsure what else they had in store for them, maybe some ridicule. Although at this point she did not care what else they had to say, she just wanted to go to her room and sleep.

Then sudden feel of a hand touching her shoulder and gently shaking her startled her. With a small gasp she quickly turned around. Taking a step back as she looked up to see a tall girl with brown hair. Marina mouth softly opened to say something but nothing came out. It was crazy what this girl was saying, that she would get her things back? But from the looks of those three girls she had small hope, for ever seeing her thing ever again. Although she closed her mouth, at the time biting her lip as she gently nodded back in response to the girl.

The blue haired girl just watched as Anastasia crouches down into a squat. Marina gently leaned towards the girl as she continued to talk to her now in a hushed voice. “Really?...” she whispered back a small smile forming across her face. Was this girl telling her the truth?! Was she really promising to get her things back to her. Hearing this Marina couldn't help it and she really did not think if the girl would be okay with it, but she went for it. The short blue haired girl slightly jumped forward and gave Anastasia a hug. “Thank you” she quietly squeaked before letting go of the hug.

Before anything else could be said Marina found herself following the group of her fellow students though parts of the schools campus towards the building labeled ‘student quarters.’ She slipped off her shoes and now in her blue socks followed the group into the building. She was amazed on how clean and futuristic everything was, and was just wide eyed at everything she saw around herself. Soon they were outside of the purple section and Princteon was going over a few more things before sending them off on their own.

Marina let out a sigh as she continued to process everything that had been going on in the past few hours. Her life was changing quick and she was not entirely sure she liked it. Although this school is supposed to be a good thing for her a way of not falling in her family's footsteps. She made her way over to the locker that had her name on it and opened it. She went through what was inside of her locker, rubbing the material between her fingers of the school uniform skirt. Marina frowned and looked up and the top two shelves of the locker. How was she expected to reach high places without using her tentacles, this sure was going to be frustrating.

Arin, being smarmy and in a generally sour mood, was about ready to retort with a statement about how maybe they wouldn't be annoying her so much if she'd just answered their questions. Still, his action was meant to test how legitimate the expulsion threat was so maybe it was just a bluff? Food for thought. Still, when Princeton made his presence known there was the idea that maybe he could sort this all out and tell them to cut it out with the hazing nonsense. To say he was disappointed that didn't happen was an understatement. However, in the midst of getting rid of his stuff (making sure to crack his phone's screen out of spite) he realized he did have one small advantage. If this place was so set on being like a detention center, he could work with that.

Once the group got moving towards the dorms Arin started mentally marking where everything was, places that might be concealed from view, things like that. Last thing he wanted was to get shanked at a school. Still, he kept himself quiet, obeying instructions as needed before entering the dorms. As he looked in on the contents of his locker the orange jumpsuit got a sour expression and was quickly thrown in the bottom-most drawer. He'd had quite enough of that getup, thank you. Still, right now they were unsupervised which allowed him to vent just a little and talk to no one in particular. "Well I am certainly fast developing a vehement hatred for this school. I didn't sign up for this in the slightest." He took a look about the rest of his now fellow students, seeming to refuse to change out of his street clothes until absolutely necessary. "What about the lot of you? Were any of you told about this beforehand?" He wasn't exactly expecting an answer at this point. They had to get up at an ungodly hour anyways.

as margate followed the rest of everyone into the school she was amazed at all the strange things, it seemed like it was a sci-fi spaceship or something how strange, the talk about having to change into totally different clothes made margate a bit nervous since she wasn't sure they would even have something that would fit her? they probably did right? once the speeches where over margate headed to her locker grabbing the gray sweatsuit that much to her surprise was actually her size how strange at least in her opinion. she was about to go get changed when margate noticed another girl that seemed to be having a bit of an issue with being short, more accurately high selves

"hey umm.. you need any help there? you seem a little too short for your locker.."

of course margate didn't really have any right to call anyone short considering she was a 8 foot scaly giant with monochrome eyes, regardless she was just trying to be friendly.

Marina narrowed her eyes as she stared up at the top shelves of her locker. She was now determined to reach the items located on top. Standing on her tiptoes and stretching out her arms trying her best to reach the top, but nope still too short. She jumped up a few times, just to make sure if that would work. The jumping got her close but she was not able to grab the clothing. She sighed placing her hands on her hips as she gave the top shelf of the locker a death stare.

The blue haired girl looked away from the locker murmuring something under her breath as she folded her arms under her chest. Looking around she noticed that there were benches in the middle of the locker room. A smile crept upon her face as an idea popped in her head, she could stand on the bench and then jump towards the locker, yes! That will work, well she hoped.

Marina was about to step up on to the bench when a voice asking if she needed help stopped her. ‘Wow..’ she whispered to herself as she turned around and looked up at a girl that was three feet taller than her. “Yes...please” she softly said blushing and quickly looking down at the ground with a little frown. She was not that found that the girl had called her short and at the same time felt embarrassed that she was not able to reach. “I could reach...but these girls said we aren't allowed to use our abilities…” she softly added as she stared at the ground

margate gave the girl a small smile she could see the girl was probably embarrassed, although she probably would have gotten herself more hurt if she didn't help. margate grabbed the sweatsuit for her handing it to the girl.

"no problem there not need to be embarrassed about needing a bit of help, but yeah I guess for some people here not using their powers would be annoying at least they're actually useful oh i should introduce myself names margate"

Marina looked up as the tall girl was holding out the items from the top selfies of her locker towards her. With a light blush still across her cheeks she reached out and took the folded clothing. “Thank you “ she softly replied thanking the girl for helping her. Before turning around and making sure to place her items closer to where she would be able to reach.

The girl gathered her “hair” and laid it all over her left shoulder “It is annoying...and dumb that we are not aloud...its going to be hard to just turn off something I used all my life you know..” she replied with a sigh before looking back up towards Margate as she introduced herself. “Nice to meet cha Margate...im Marina” She replied her accent in her voice a bit hard to pin point, between Spanish and British English.

Margate sighed she could understand where the girl was coming from whatever her powers where it probably reminded her short stature. Although her name seemed a little old to Margate marina wasn’t exactly a name she had ever heard before clearly she was form a different country to herself

“I’m sure you will eventually get used to it marina, suppose there not much you can do but resist the urge to use them”

Around now the air around both Margate and marina had chilled slightly not too much nor too noticeable if one wasn’t bothering with it but it was still present and definitely strange.

“We’ll see you later then” Margate said then heading towards one of the showers. And taking quite a while with it too if there was one thing Margate took great care in it was the shine of her scales and wirelike hair normal she would uses some kind of dish clear or similar since it got a nicer shine then most regular soap although this would have to do for now. She got changed into the grey uniform without much trouble her hair and face still retaining there shiny complexion. The heading back out to the main hall of the student quarters, Maybe she could talk to some others or prehaps grab one of those pods while there where still choices available unless they had been assigned one?

Dante

Power: GateLocation: Boy's DormInteraction: Arin shadowstrikr25 shadowstrikr25
Open for any guy in the boys dorm.
And thus, the top dog revealed himself.

There was no mistaking it. From his posture, to his demeanor, to the way he even got the Terrible Trio to back down, it was clear this was the top of the class. It reminded Dante, almost immediately, of a general from an old war movie. It even called to mind a quote he had heard once. It was a definition of discipline, which seemed to be on full display now...

'The discipline which makes the soldiers of a free country reliable in battle is not to be gained by harsh or tyrannical treatment. On the contrary, such treatment is far more likely to destroy than to make an army. It is possible to impart instructions and to give commands in such a manner and in such a tone of voice as to inspire in the soldier no feeling but an intense desire to obey,'

If that didn't exemplify Princeton, he didn't know what did.

'while the opposite manner and tone of voice cannot fail to excite strong resentment and a desire to disobey.'

The trio. Surely they had to have been able to feel the general resentment towards them based on their demeanor thus far... Hell, all it took was a glance around to see that most of his fellow newcomers didn't think very highly of these three girls.

'The one mode or other of dealing with subordinates springs from a corresponding spirit in the breast of the commander. He who feels the respect which is due others cannot fail to inspire in them regard for himself; while he who feels, and hence manifests, disrespect toward other, especially his inferiors, cannot fail to inspire hatred against himself.'

Yes, that was, ultimately, the breakdown. Princeton commanded respect because he showed it, while the girls tried to coerce respect through fear and harassment, and got nowhere, at least with him. Still, it was a little unnerving how even this man told them to choose allies, and that they would weed out unpromising ones. Then again, there were always those that tried to become heroes for the wrong reasons. Perhaps it was those he meant? Or maybe those whose abilities weren't suited? He couldn't tell. For now, trying to read too deep into words was going to get him nothing but a headache until he had more information. It seemed, at least, that orientation and such would happen tomorrow. Until then, he'd hold his questions.

As Princeton led them on, Dante's eyes glazed over once again as he scanned every available inch of the school with his eyes, committing every minute detail to memory. The place was huge, and the last thing he needed was to get lost. He listened as Princeton explained the basic schedule for tomorrow. Breakfast at the crack of dawn then a tour. Joy.

For now, he'd play completely by the rules. With everyone else, he made his way to the shower room and, once finding his locker, made quick work of changing from his street clothes to the grey downtime uniform. He folded up his street clothes and tucked them into the bottom of the bottom-most drawer, since he wouldn't need them again until vacation. Normally, he'd just leave them in Door, but, well, he didn't want to get expelled for a rules violation on his first day. Not until he'd found out how to game the system.

One boy, in particular, seemed very ready to voice his displeasure at the whole situation. Surely most of them were feeling it...

"I didn't hear anything about any of these rules, either. It's probably a stress test. Whoever's in charge wants to see how we adapt to unforeseen stresses or something like that. See how easily we get rattled." Dante shrugged, taking the time to see how the grey uniform looked on him in a nearby mirror. "Until we get all the rules and information, best we can do for now is keep calm and follow along." He concluded, settling his eyes on the boy who spoke.

"My name's Dante, by the way. Dante de la Cruz." he spoke to no one in particular. "Since we're going to be spending the foreseeable future together, I figured I should at least introduce myself." He grinned, stretching his arms over his head. "As much as I want to stay up late, swap some manly stories and make some waffles in the morning, 0500 is gonna come in like a wrecking ball after today. We should all get some sleep while we can so we're ready for whatever shenanigans they throw at us" He concluded as he left he shower room to head back to the sleep pods. Even those were preassigned, and he frowned a bit when he realized he was one of the bottom pods. Oh well, if he couldn't jump from the top bunk into a portal to get places all the fun was gone from it anyway. He sat on the edge of the pod for now, not wanting to be the first one to conk out and miss out on the opportunity to learn more about his new classmates and possibly make some more friends.

Darrick put the small device on his neck, just above his collar bone where a collar or a coat could hide it. After the initial unsettling feeling of the sudden language changes, Darrick righted himself and stood closer to his new group of friends, being Dante and Johanna.

"I don’t like them. Not a bit." Darrick muttered this as he gave up his small novel, though he simply hid the wireless earbuds inside his shirt collar, keeping them out of sight, with the charging cable tucked around his sleeve cuff.

After the new boy came in and showed them around Darrick made it a mission to remember where they had been, creating a miniature map with his shadow, small enough to keep hidden underfoot, but in enough detail to be able to transfer it to paper or another viewing format later. As they entered the dorm, Darrick and Dante in one and Johanna going to another, he looked around at the other students, not really making note of them till now.
Darrick had a feeling that it was going to be a rough night and day, so he wasted no time in finding a spot to hide his earbuds and charger, and stripping off his shirt to look for the grey uniform in his locker, searching for a sheet of paper and a pen at the same time.[/div]

Location:: Girl's Dorm | Interaction:: N/A

Rosita watched as their stuff was carelessly tossed around finding the lack of class laughable. For a 'prestigious' institution everything about it thus far felt like a ghetto prison. Being raised in the high life she was, this wasn't something she was used to. Still, she didn't speak out, not yet at least. There were a time and place for everything so, for now, she was going to remain level-headed about it.

The only lingering concern was how she was going to receive her medications. If she was exposed to the food she was allergic to or started to have little 'episodes' that would jeopardize her position in the school. Girls like these were going to make it increasingly harder for her to not lash out but she kept her goal in mind. Demanding respect or attention through fear and power-tripping was pathetic for those who really have it received praise because they take it. Showing off their colors wasn't going to win any trophies in her book but lumping her in with the rest of the riff-raff was putting them at the top of her list. She wasn't sure which one of them she liked the least, the egotistical barbie, the airhead wannabe, or the emotionless robot. For someone who doesn't want to be talking, she sure does a lot of barking. She had a bored expression written all over her tired face ready to be done with this day.

Another figure called for her attention now, a dark-skin male with a commanding voice, saying they should all follow along. That's all they've been doing since entering the first airport, blindly following the next person or thing that called their attention. It wasn't her style but again, causing a scene for herself wasn't something she wanted to do on the first day. She listened carefully to what he said and the instructions he gave before dismissing them to the locker rooms. It felt kind of preschool to have the dorms so separated but at the same time, they were still high schoolers. Hormones can get a little out of hand with too much freedom.

Rosita entered the hallway, her eyes briefly scanning each locker until she found her own. Wow, piss yellow, prison orange, and bland grey, how original. She rolled her eyes seeing the distasteful uniforms they were required to wear. The rose haired girl didn't waste any time stripping down right there and slipping on the grey sweatshirt. It hugged her hips a bit so she figured that was more than enough to sleep in for the night. The morning certainly would be filled with excitement given how today went to getting to bed early seemed like the smart play. A hand ran through the curled tendrils of her hair as she walked past the other girls chatting in the hall. There was no interest in conversing with anyone at this hour so she went smooth past everything straight to her pod on the top bunk, shutting the door and laying down to go to sleep.

For some reason, it was harder to sleep, not because she was uncomfortable but because there were too many things floating around her mind. There were so many sections of the school blocked off yet everyone here was supposed to be a hero, they weren't given any guidance as if this were some sort of test to evaluate their abilities before arriving, would they be sorted into different classes or have they already been sorted, why does she feel more like a prisoner than a student? Rosita worked hard to get accepted into this academy, it's not like there weren't other superpowered kids who wished to attend but didn't make the cut, yet somehow she felt like she was the unlucky one. Her eyes closed tight as she rolled onto her side curling up fully under the blanket in an attempt to shut out her thoughts.

Levi wasn't impressed by the girl's behavior but he also understood why they acted like that. Everything was a tactic to get into a better position, scare off the newcomers, neutralize a potential threat. "We're in Mongolia," he said softly to Johanna as he kept his eyes on the group of girls. They were shady and he didn't trust them one bit. "From the looks of it, I'd say we're either in a school or some kind of military camp... Wait do you not-" He was about to ask her how she didn't know what this school was for or why they were gathered here but another person came to greet them. Well, he didn't do any better of a job than the group of girls in his opinion since he pretty much just said 'follow' but something about him felt different. He was more commanding in the way that he wanted to follow rather than being repulsed. A respectable man with a sense of honor was the impression he got from the fellow.

He went along with the group keeping Johanna semi-close to him so she didn't just wander off and everyone forgets about her. He made a mental note of how the school looked and which areas were blocked off to their group. The building seemed borderline sterile, devoid of color until they reached the third floor which he assumed was where the personal quarters were. "We can talk more tomorrow if you'd like, that part about choosing allies was a little bit concerning..." He said briefly to the blind beauty before following the boys to their side of the dorms. He wasn't a fan of the uniforms much like the others since they outright protested.

He changed into his sweats, rolling the sleeves of the pullover up to his elbows, and departed for the beds. "We should be more careful. Drawing unnecessary attention to yourself without knowing how this place works seems like a good way to fail." He wasn't exactly speaking to anyone in particular mostly just talking into the air in relation to what the group was talking about. His pale eyes quickly spotted his bunk, climbing up into it and looking around. It was like a futuristic pod straight out of a movie. Levi fiddled with the settings a bit surprising himself with how versatile the contraption was. Since he didn't think he was getting much sleep tonight without his music or his medication he figured he might as well familiarize himself with the functions of his pod. It was to be his home for the next semester so getting a better understanding of all its uses wasn't a bad idea.
