Alright... Time to do more details about ole saff eh?

Well saffron is, if you couldn't tell before is a music based fighter. The flow of her combat, the speed of her hits, her aggression in combat is all mostly base on what music she's listening to. In combat she has a boombox/bass cannon/backpack...Thing, she has a pair of headphones that she's either always wearing, or using as a weapon...uhh..they split apart and become like...2 small clubs, she also has a staff that sorta acts as an antenna...of sorts.

For her semblance(which is something I'm still sorta going on in myhead) she has something called "all for one" and "one for all". Its basically...she uses her aura.. Or.. Music (which is somewhat tied to her aura) to buff herself (all for one) or the whole team(one for all). The thing about this is the worse her team is beat up, or the more the odds are stacked against them the stronger the effect. As for what the effect actually is...I'm probably thinking like a damage resist thing... Or...maybe stronger hits.. Or something like that ( I'm sorta thinking about dropping the all for one thing.. And just make it a team wide buff)

As for her personality, I can give a basic rundown. She appears rather flagrant.. And none caring...and she is to an extent. But she's also an easy person to get along with. She's quite the rebel.. To the point where she can understand why organizations such as the white fang operate the way they do... That being said she doesn't hate them in particular... But will still fight them. I..guess you can say she doesn't really like people being pushed around... And will generally stand up for people who may be oppressed, or even just bullied...which ties into her semblance.. Sorta... facing overwhelming adversity... Or..oppression or..something. (Shhhhh I'm totally a pro at this)

I'll spare giving her back story now...mostly because its..not..done, but I think that it'll fit nicely within the universe.

Well...that's staff...for the most part.... I don't have a pic for her..because I cant art.

Here's my character:

Abo Scattir- Abo is the tagalog word for Ash; which is grey.Male, about 16-17 years of age. he's about 5 feet high, wears a hooded cloak(I'll draw it in the main thread), white polo and brown shorts. His weapon's a Knife that sorta acts like a giant cutter(Meaning it could be long as a short sword). It also acts as a pistol.

His semblance is called "Grey Dust". With this, he could manipulate any type of ASH into hard tangible objects. However, it is limited to the amount of Ash he has.

He is the 'though nut' kind of guy. Loves isolation, typical emo kid. Except he's a bit nicer and polite when around people.

(Are there Nomads around remnant? I friggin forgot. Might check now.)

As for my characters, I have a Faunus named Hina Verde (I changed Maylea's name). Hina is a combination of of the Japanese words hi (sun, sunlight) and na (vegetables, greens) and her last name is a Spanish word for the color green. Her family naming scheme is flower names for first names. Hina wields two axes that can combine into a great ax. Her weapons don't have a gun mode, but her axes can shoot energy waves and she can select the dust element from a spinner. Earth Dust causes earthquakes, Wind Dust causes strong winds, and Fire Dust makes flame blasts. Hina's semblance Photosynthesis Healing allows herself to heal faster when in sunlight or light like sunlight.

My second character is Silver Valmet (Valmet is a brand of sniper rifle). His family has a metal naming scheme. Silver's personality is colder and more closed off than Hina's, but he wants to be a hero and honor his family legacy. Silver wields a scythe that can turn into a sniper rifle and uses Ice Dust exclusively. His semblance Ice Veins makes him immune to the cold and if he gets frozen by an attack he can quickly bust himself out.

Grazia Naranjo came from an impoverished family stuck in Dust refining, and values freedom to walk away from that over anything else. She's been forging prototypes of her jet boots since she was little, which is what got Fortress's attention. She is kind of a party animal, loves to make friends and talk shop, and can easily be tempted by the finer things in life. She wears a white dress with a varsity jacket, and feels naked without her jet boots and scroll. Basically, she really admires how technology can change lives.

Her weapon is her jet boots, and her semblance is creating explosive energy crescents that can be used as ranged weapons. They can't be used as frequently as actual weapons as that would tax her Aura reserves, so she usually just uses them as a long-range augment to her fighting style, which is basically kick-heavy martial arts with rocket jumps.

Note: "Grazia" is Italian for "grace", and "Naranjo" is a Spanish word meaning "orange tree".

Pazzo has a more tragic past than anything. Pazzo was one of those unfortunate souls to face the darker sides of Vacuo. Living with a mother and father who were dirt poor, his father made ends meet by doing unmentionable favors for the higher ups; his mother same but in a much more..degrading fashion if you catch my drift. One day, his father came home and went straight into Pazzo's room, screaming for him to run as quick as he could. Minutes later, men dressed very similar to Atlas' colors burst into the doors; killing both his father and capturing his mother.

As he would later find out, during one of his father's favors, he told the organization "I'll get the job done! I'll put my own damn son on the line for this!"..Obviously he failed. As you know, Penny stated she was the first synthetic person capable of generating an aura..or at least she was the first shown to the public. What if there were others created? Other tests being ran?

What I'm suggesting is the presence of a darker side of the once known lore. An organization called the New World Project who sought to do the same thing as General Ironwood but in a bit more twisted fashion. They didn't want to take humans off the streets, they wanted to improve them, advance them - augment them. This New World Project was one of the many shady deals Pazzo's father was involved in; the same deal that cost him his life and Pazzo's freedom.

Pazzo was taken around age six, had his memory wiped, and had been subject to a grandiose amount of experiments done to his body. After finding out about Penny through (insert devilsh methods here), it only fueled them to create something that would prove superior to their technology; Pazzo was that something.

After being subject to years of torture via experimentation, Pazzo passed all of the augmentation tests; the lab successfully replacing the human organs with mechanical inner-workings. Now, this occurred while at the age of ten, three years has passed since then. Let me take a moment to briefly explain Pazzo's body and what exactly it does.

As you said before, Pazzo's body is only able to use dust, that's all he'll need. His body is designed to harness the power of the colored crystals through a tiny crystallized dust ring located on his forehead. This ring swaps crystals in a manner similar to Weiss' blade, the only difference being that his eye color also adjusts to the color of the dust being used. Now how is it used you ask?

Pazzo is able to channel the element currently used throughout his entire body; resulting in his hand rising up and letting out a eruption of flame or his eyes emitting a blinding light. Another alternative method is for Pazzo to channel them through a Halberd/Rifle weapon designed specifically for his use. The halberd itself is rather useless and doesn't do much, it's how he uses it with his channeling ability that makes it amazing. Engulfing the blade in flames, shooting lightning from the tip, using wind instead of a bullet in the barrel to create psuedo-thrusters. I'm not entirely sure which elements he'll be able to use and which he won't but I think you get the idea.

Now back to why Pazzo has come to beacon. During the three years he spent getting used to his new form, Pazzo was sent on mission after mission to do more than your average under-handed job - in short - he was a mercenary. (Think of the anime Gunslinger Girl when thinking of Pazzo's jobs). Everything seemed fine at first, until Pazzo grew bored of it all. Killing the same types over and over again, it'd gotten boring for the heartless wonder; that's when - on this 13th birthday - he'd discovered Beacon Academy.

Seeing this as a method to test their new product, NWP found it almost necessary to send him as soon as possible; Pazzo there for a much more simplistic reasoning..Love.

That's right. Love.

Pazzo had reached the age of 13 - and despite how much he'd been augmented, they couldn't remove his brain; or at least the function of the brain. Pazzo's brain was replaced with a metallic structure that was meant to function like the brain. He'd still have emotions, just with a less squishy motherboard. That aside, Pazzo finally reached he age we all dread..Teenage Years.

Pazzo wanted to find a girl worthy of the fight. He craved a challenger that was cute and could knock him out if he played dumb. He wanted to find someone that would last more than a few seconds with him and the ring; so badly he would kill for it.

Pazzo's involvement isn't going to be that hard to figure out. At that impressionable age, kids often think they are immortal; you're just looking at a kid who has every single reason to believe so.

Plot wise, Pazzo of course is eventually going to get knocked down a peg or two by whomever it is he fights. Pazzo will also eventually find a girl and fall in love. I also plan for Pazzo's origins to eventually be brought to light; a huge character plot involve Pazzo and future augmented humans who seek to destroy the first of the series. I was thinking maybe getting a few characters(Maybe those in his team) to come with him and eventually put a stop to the New World Project; not wanting them to create anyone else like him and his brethren.

I know it's a lot but I hope you like my idea.

Alicia grew up like nobility due to her families status. While her young life should have been hard once her semblance was discovered life became hell for her. This hell was training and preparation for a life in her family. Not wanting to push forward family's goals she ran away eluding her family up until a head-line making fake death. Under the false-name Lydia she seeks to make a name for herself at any cost forwarding herself onto the world stage by her own hand even if it means starting at Square One. It might seem odd but, Alicia doesn't use a weapon rather she fully combats the grimm and other forces using solely her semblance which had been refined and strengthened over the years with strict training. Using her aura and such she affects the world around her moving it changing its shape you name it. While using her semblance she has the tendency to float and exert a visible bright purple "aura" overuse is something Lydia doesn't know of as her stamina is astounding at times and seems to grow as time passes along with her power. However the semblance can not be combined with any form of dust to change its properties. Most commonly she'll put on bouts of power to scare her human opponents into submission. Her strong semblance has had other effects on her as well. She boasts a resistance to the semblances of others even those of buffing allies. Her semblance almost feeds off of others on contact sustaining her and allowing her to fight for longer.

[Most likely you know what the Force is imagine it more with a raw magic vibe of destruction and chaos.]

(that scaling though... wait for late game bois I'm going to add a hard cap onto her abilities though so don't worry.)

I'm soo tempted to reveal details... I'll reveal one since I can't resist the urge to, as well as the fact it's a little funny.

Oyibo of team SNOW doesn't use a weapon either, Airebsi :P

That's going to be interesting indeed, so you're keeping Oyibo as secret for now? I'm sure people would be confused by people that don't use weapons to do their job since it's normally an essential thing for a hunter to have.

Ah, giving more details now I am, but not anything spoiling as it'll be present there. Most, if not all third years use either no weapons or basic weapons, very few actual complex weapons. However, that's just third year as it's part of their training as third-years.

This is what I have so far. My OC is Obsidian Auge, male human hailing from Atlas. Auge means "eye" in german and Obsidian is the black volcanic rock formed by lava. His semblance is "aura construct", allowing him to create solid objects with his own aura. The amount of aura required to construct them depends on the size and complexity of his creations. His weapon, (WIP), is a taser railgun sword. Its first function is a taser sword, allowing him to electrify targets through the blunt end of the sword. Second function is a railgun, firing special AP bullets (sometime dust-infused) to penetrate targets from long range. That's all I'm gonna reveal so far, but have a sneak peek of his emblem.<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_11/tmp_12723-Sketch24222196149389072.png.d67a9b0dac2dd1b38b69a87d7a1ef5ea.png" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="87356" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_11/tmp_12723-Sketch24222196149389072.png.d67a9b0dac2dd1b38b69a87d7a1ef5ea.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Ah I see Alicia just does it anyways because "Reliance on tools simply takes away from my natural talent."
Well, Oyibo doesn't use a weapon normally anyway, so she is unusual in that aspect. She definitely doesn't need one either, plus hates weapons n' stuff :P

Alright, I got it. I've only seen the first episode, most of the second, and all of the trailers, but I finally know what this dust stuff is. Or, at least, I think I do.

I think her and Alciia might get along somewhat or are the third years going to treat the first years like trash >w>
No horrible treatment by third-years as a whole. Maybe a few bullies, but nothin' that big.

As for getting along, maybe :x

Now, I need a weapon that is the definition of heavy weapons guy. Like Nora's grenade launcher/super hammer. Only less pink, more orange.
