Naming RWBY teams is actually pretty easy if you get loose enough about it.


JNPR = Juniper


RWBY = Ruby


CRDL = Cardinal


CFVY = Coffee


SSSN = Sun


ABRN = Auburn


...and those are just the canon teams!


I mean...


Just based on what I see in this thread, Sapphire, Mocha, Herbert and... (let's make up one here) Austin.


SMHA = Smash
