Zero Mortal Plan!
Story takes place on an island continent named Konton. Konton is completely isolated from the rest of the world. Earth of course is what planet we live on. Konton is located near japan and actually was once ruled by them for centuries. Naturally Konton picked up on a lot of Japan’s culture and ways of life. Konton became its own country after World War II, once Japan’s surrendered Konton declared to be their own country and closed its borders from the world. Realistically we would consider them becoming a third world country right? For being under control for so long and finally being its own country would fail since it’s an island continent right? Wrong!
There’s a reason Konton peaked Japan’s interest, Konton is not only a continent sized island it’s also filled with rare ores that can be forged into weapons. Also the land is overly rich with other natural minerals. Predominantly asian’s live on Konton, but thanks to warfare other races mixed themselves in before the isolation. Thanks to this Konton is a splash of different cultures, but the landmarks are heavily inspired by Japanese culture. The only downfall that Konton had was they never advanced their culture past the samurai era since it was still heavily pushed even during World War II. Konton’s weapons were more powerful and the people who lived there passively shot their technology further and faster then the rest of earth. The way of the sword or any armed weapons that weren’t firearms.
There is only one ruler of Konton in the form of their own “Shōgun” (President). It’s run by the Fukuyan family who took control over the country during its time of peril. No one in the history of Konton after the Isolation Era has been a shallow Shogun to the country. Konton has been peaceful with the rest of the world. Only problem is the conflict within the country. The people that live within Konton can’t seem to end the killing of their own people. Everything isn’t sunshines and rainbows in Konton, with all light there are shadows.
Now that I gave you a little description on where you're at and what’s happened. Now it’s time to delve into the story.
Once a game kids played in the park to re in-act being Samurai’s and fighting one another with wood sticks. Over time it became a way of individuals to hash their problems out. Of course like all good things, some ill minded people come along to add their twisted ways influencing killing in the fights. Soon after killings grew those games were no longer games and instead a way of life. Guns are prevalent in this country, but swords and other melee weapons are the most prominent weapons used.
Present day Ronin has completely took over countrywide. Now a-days only when the sun falls and the moon rises will the arts be used. If caught showing any signs of involvement with ronin will be punished. Caught vigilantes end up going missing. At night the rooftops and streets are filled with warriors of their respected turf, the common folk lock their doors and let the streets stay open for the Ronin, Police, and Any over night workers. Those who participate in Ronin at night usually dress up and hide their faces to conceal their day life identity. There are some who show their faces out of spite not caring who see’s their face.
