In the year 4076, Earth is a paradise brought about by the strict rule of the planetary
government, led by a council of oligarchs raised for the role. Both scientific and social advances are common, particularly as humanity encounters more extraterrestrial races.

Amongst the first of the species discovered were a race of adaptive shifters the humans refer to by a variety of names such as djinn, kitsune, changelings, and polymorphs. They call themselves the Shen. These beings had been visiting humans for centuries, serving as the inspiration for a variety of myths and legends. Once humans joined together to create the first global government, a representative of the Shen approached them and offered the necessary technologies for humans to begin true space travel. In exchange, the people of Earth promised to provide a safe haven for any and all alien species who wished to visit or settle. Earth accepted, though they bargained to maintain their government and right to enforce the laws of Earth.

It has been several decades since this exchange was made and Earth is a true melting pot of species and cultures. This is made possible partly by strict enforcement of laws with harsh punishments. Although the death penalty is no longer used, the worst criminals are placed on prison ships sent to the outer reaches of space for “rehabilitation” via colonization.

These ships are crewed by a small “enforcer” crew meant to ensure the ship leaves known occupied space and that the prisoners are as prepared as possible for their journey. The ship is then set to travel to a harsh, uninhabited planet where the prisoners either die or form a new colony.

Currently there is a new prison ship in the process of loading, but not with just the normal prisoners. Something else is on the ship, in portions locked away even from the crew...

~~~
(WIP)
Even in 4076, Antartica is a mostly uninhabited continent primarily the realm of scientists and secret government projects. The Carandiru prison/colony ship rests in a hangar underneath layers of ice in the center of a massive, temporary, maximum-security prison block containing the criminals in line for transportation into the deep reaches of space. Supplies have already been loaded including food resources, basic weaponry, colonization machinery, and unmarked cargo. The crew have been living on ship for weeks now, preparing every inch and running drills before the prisoners are finally loaded. Today is the day.
"All crew prepare for prisoner transport! To your stations. Security, be primed for offensive action by the prisoners." A loud voice over the intercom calls. A few seconds later a series of loud beeps echo through the chambers as the first block of the prisoners are ushered toward the ship.
**Nathaniel**
Taking a final deep breath, Nathaniel surveyed the hangar entrance from the suspended platform in the center of the room, right above the ship. His armor HUD had locked onto the first of the prisoners coming through the doorway, shuffling forward in shackles up the ramp one after another. Most of them looked downtrodden and exhausted, which was exactly how the overseer preferred it during the transfer. A period of enforced sleep and food deprivation before the event always made for more docile prisoners and a smoother day. Only once the ship was clear from Earth orbit would they be allowed to eat and sleep.
After the first couple of blocks were emptied with no major incidents, Nathaniel jumped from the platform, landing loudly on the concrete floor. His armor registered the impact and cushioned the force of the impact meaning from outside appearances he simply landed and continued striding forward. A quick and easy transit method which often seemed to give the prisoners pause. It was time to prime the "special" prisoners.
**Fox**
The glare of the lights overhead was seriously starting to irritate her. It had been days since the last night cycle and considering the white padded walls around her, the glare was almost impossible to avoid. The impertinence! In fact, Fox recalled, they hadn't bothered to feed her in the last few days either. The imbeciles running this prison could certainly learn a few things on how to treat a lady such as herself. Fox removed her tail from her muzzle, giving a soft sigh of despair that yet another attempt to block the light had failed. At that moment a unit of prison guards in black armor turned the corner and began stationing themselves in pairs in front of the cells in her block, including her own.
"Prisoner Ferrera Lo'Tan. Please revert to your human form for transport." One of the guards intoned. Fox shifted into her standard one-tailed human form but chose to make the extra effort to produce a flowing, elegant kimono set around her. "Oh how nice. Is it time for a walk? Do I finally get to speak with your superior? I so look forward to meeting him," she purred, flashing horrifically sharp teeth. Simultaneously she heard the guards at the other cells opening doors to begin leading prisoners down the block.
"No, prisoner. You're on your way to rehabilitation. The Carandiru awaits." The door swung open wide and one of the guards stepped forward with a shock collar.
“Ensign Reeve. Ensign Reeve.”
The buzz of his personal intercom was as persistent as it was irritating. It would not go away however. He opened his eyes with a groan, shielding them from the red blinking of his personal comm.
”Ensign Reeve, you are late,” said the slightly annoying robot woman.
”Whatever,” he raised his hand, clenching it into a fist and bringing it down on top of the stupid blinking light.
It smashed, and the red light was no more. ”And fuck off too,” he moaned again before laying his head back down.
Turning his head to see who was lying next to him, he smirked at the sight of a shock of blonde hair coming out from under the cover. It was then that the memory of last night game to him. He remembered the disco. He remembered the flashing orange lights at the top of the dance floor. He remembered seeing her there, alone. He remembered working his way over to her, placing his arm around her.....
Morgan slid out of bed, casually noting his officers uniform crumpled on the floor. As she lay there, still asleep, he gathered his clothes, smoothing them over before putting them back on. Reaching into his pocket, he drew out a small round metallic object. Bringing it to his lips, he whispered, ”One hundred and fifty four,” into it.
Placing it back into his pocket, he walked over to the mirror and looked into it. Ignoring the sight of his two bloodshot eyes staring back at him, as well as the shadows under them, he reached up, pushing the loose strands of hair back into place. Then glancing back at the sleeping girl, he smirked again.
”Sorry, duty calls. Be seeing you.”
Of course, being asleep, she couldn’t answer as he glided out of her apartment, pushing the door shut behind him.
***
The hangar was a long, almost cavernous room. In the center of said room was the prison ship, Carandiru, the ship that he had spent most of the last few weeks living on, until the point that he had been ready to explode and had to leave.....like last night.
Their ship, the Carandiru, was a colony ship designed to house many crew and prisoners. Posted out in a remote area such as the Antarctic led to a certain type of crew.....hardy, strong, or mayhap a little desperate. Morgan knew which category he belonged to.
Today, it was the ships time to depart, and with it Morgan to pilot them.
As he came running down towards the ship, Morgan noted with a strange sinking sensation in the pit of his stomach the intercom message.
"All crew prepare for prisoner transport! To your stations. Security, be primed for offensive action by the prisoners."
As he arrived finally to see the passengers being loaded on, he noted the scene unfold between the security guards and one of the prisoners, a woman with a kimono and........a tail? Doing a double take at that sight, he sighed as he shot a glare at the guard.
“Shock collars? Is that really necessary?” he said with a droll tone, congratulating himself on the fact that he managed to get through a sentence without slurring too much.
Putting to one side the fact that he must have looked quite ridiculous with his blood shot eyes and dishevelled appearance, Morgan kept his glare on the guard.
Kel Keth
Breathe....release
Calm and neutral
Balance and calm
Breathe...release
Kel Keth repeats the mantra over and over to herself. Something about it was soothing despite how obvious it was. The lawyer they had assigned to her must have taken some pity on her and had scheduled a few remote interviews with what they called ‘Alien Psychology specialist” who had recommended attempting meditation.
It had proved to be a decent idea, keeping Kel Keth from focusing on the flurry of emotions around her. Emotions that had proved deadly in a round about way for her people. Her stomach lurched as she thought back to her first in person encounter with aliens. She wanted to vomit but held it in, instead wrapping her arms around herself and squeezing tight while focusing on her breathing.
This went on for a couple of hours, her mantra only broken by occasionally humming a few bars of a song from back home on The Null. Kel Keth had just resumed the chant when her cell rocked suddenly.
The whole room shook as something decoupled and shifted into place. It was then when the first real wave hit her.
Fear
The cell door opened and a dozen men were there to greet her. She was going to be transferred to a penal colony, given a place to be isolated from the majority of these emotion filled aliens. She didn’t want to think of it as a blessing but it was. Once there she’d be able to contact her home world and get help. But the journey in between would be difficult.
The men approaching her for transport felt fear and it washed over Kel Keth. Like a sick wave of bile, it clung and stuck to her. Immediately Kel Keth retreated to the corner. Her body turning yellow as dozens of small barbs started erupting from her skin, rooting her to floor. Terror overwhelmed her as her eyes shut tightly.
The closest men shifted their emotions, their fear vanished at the pathetic sight. Disgust growing just enough to pull the barbs back in when a man in a suit stepped forward.
“Idiots! Get out!” His voice was sharp but there was no emption behind it. The men didn’t question it and hurried away quickly as neutrality filled the air.
“Miss Yut, I’ll be your liaison for now, until we reach your holding cell. I am an artificial person and shall not aggravate your condition.”
The color thankfully drained from Kel Keth’s face as she stood up and nodded as the Android continued.
“Please wear this for now.” It hands her a bracelet. “This device will monitor and attempt to mitigate your physiological responses to emotions. While not perfected it may be able to prevent more dangerous reactions.”
Kel muttered a thanks and followed silently as the man gestured and led her out of the temporary cell and into the transportation headed towards the ship.
—————-
"All crew prepare for prisoner transport! To your stations. Security, be primed for offensive action by the prisoners."
Kel Keth, keeping silent marches along, following orders and keeping her eyes firmly glued to the device on her wrist. It was working overtime as emotions flared around her. Luckily they were fairly mixed and she was having trouble isolating what people were feeling around her.
The line kept moving along until eventually she found herself alongside the scene of what must have been a little confrontation. Something about collars. She gulped loudly.
Picture knew what they were doing. Keeping the prisoners from sleeping and eating, trying to control them. He had done it to people. It was normal enough to stop all production of food, but sleep was harder for a full planet, and Otifne didn't take prisoners, they just killed everyone, their own people included.
He was considered less dangerous than most of the other prisoners. He had been quiet and obedient. He did whatever they said without complaint. He never fought or banged against the walls or attempted to talk to other prisoners. He just... existed.
That didn't mean he didn't have a plan of course, just that the plan was being saved for the ship. He could do a lot more on the ship. It was where he was in his element. What would happen if he escaped into Antartica? It would be just like Deaost, but without the mating. And Otifne enjoyed mating, so where was the fun in that?
So far they had agreed to his request for the diet of a practicing Jew, so he was not much worried. He just wondered how that would keep up once they were colonized. He didn't think they had any scientists on the ship who could tell how genetically similar the animals were to Earthern animals. He hoped Yahweh would understand if he just guessed. He would have to.
He hadn't been able to make any sacrifices since he got to prison, and his son was probably going to die for it. He knew there was no hope of helping him from out here, not unless something drastic changed. Something drastic was going to change.
Picture knew they had to be coming for him soon for the way they were starving him. And they did, two guards he didn't recognize. He could rarely tell humans apart. "Come on. Time to get on the ship."
Picture walked forward and let them handcuff his eyes. He wasn't going to tell them he could just rip them off if they were too ignorant to know that. He said no words, his tentacles slapping against the floor as he walked.
He looked at some of the other aliens, each unique in their own way, each controlled in their own way, and was relieved the punishment wasn't harsher for him. He probably had one of the highest death counts, obliterating an entire planet, and yet since he had been good in prison he was treated kindly. What an odd sort of justice humans wielded.
---------
Picture went onto the ship quietly, thinking of his bigger plan while being thankful he was not treated as harshly as some of the other prisoners.
**Nathaniel**
Nathaniel decided to stop by the overseer’s office as he was heading toward the “special prisoner” block. When he entered, the extremely large, jovial looking man known as the overseer looked up from his desk.
“Ah, Nathaniel! It’s wonderful to see you. The prisoner transport is going splendidly as usual isn’t it? Should be complete within moments, even ahead of schedule. I believe the last prisoners are being boarded as we speak.”
Nathaniel stiffened as the import of what the overseer was saying sank into his mind.
“What do you mean? They’re being moved already!? They haven’t been primed! This set of prisoners was to be moved one by one to prevent a riot!” Nathaniel spat, spinning and sprinting toward the prison block.
~~~

**Fox**

Fox smiled at the guards as they approached with the shock collar, making note of their positions and that of the other prisoners passing. Excitement was rising in his throat, causing her tail to twitch slightly at the end.

Just as she was preparing to strike a new man arrived, though this one was particularly... disheveled. Magnar Magnar

“Sir! These measures were ordered by the overseer himself. In particular this prisoner is extremely dangerous,” the guard with the shock collar said, gesturing toward Fox with the collar.

At that moment Fox threw out her arms and pieces of her kimono seemed to whip out from her arms and wrap around the throats of the two guards. In their surprise, neither of the guards was ready to resist as Fox threw them together, knocking both men out. She laughed maniacally and farted out of her cell, shifting into her fox form to scramble along the floor low to the ground where they wouldn’t expect her. One of her two tails brushed against the legs of the man who helped her by distracting the guards. Just a little thank you. As she darted along, she noticed an odd being, pale and hairless and featureless.

Her curiosity got the better of her, mixing with the maniacal glee in her blood. While those that had been shepherding the prisoners were distracted looking for her darting figure, she bounded up to the strange being and shifted back to human, her face extremely close and her breath panting in exhaustion along with extreme excitement.

being loaded onto the prison ship was an incredibly strange creature like some sort of insect slug tumor it was being carried inside some sort of glass containment unit upon its strange insectoid head was a helmet thing to the knowable this would be a psionic muzzle meaning this creature was psionic so there where shutting down its powers, it was then thrown into the ship the glass cage smashing to pieces on impact it seemed it was intentional as both of the guards basically ran out of the room while the monster was disorientated globing out and stumbling into a cells the door closed behind it... the creature begin whistling the tune emanating creepily throughout the ship, not an airlock nor sound barrier stopped the horrifically creepy sound it was as if the noise was inside everyone's head... the whistling off course seemed to be intentional as if the creature was attempting to psych everyone else out.... eve if they couldn't see it .. perhaps it was trying to attract attention? Or simply attempting to drive everyone insane whatever the reason it’s bizzae whistling was in everything head...

Unknowing of the trouble in the prison itself, some of the crew was patrolling the ship, verifying that everything was in operation and that the prisoners were settling. Most of the prisoners were placed in small rooms, slightly better than cells but not by much. They had independent temperature control (within reason) and control of the lights. Although rooms for species other than humans had slight alterations, most rooms had standard furniture and items. Each room had a small bathroom with a simple toilet, sink, and shower stall which were all connected to the waste water recycling facility. The main room itself contained a standard military style bed, a side table with lamp, a small book shelf, a desk with drawers, and a chair. Although fairly stark, it wasn't as cramped as the cells had been. Additionally, there was a small strange control next to the temperature controls with unknown operations.

A single guard showed Picture where his quarters were, in the same corridor as the quarters for the rest of the prisoners. The whistling throughout the ship certainly seemed to be bothering all of the guards and the rest of the prisoners but they seemed to be doing their best to ignore it. "These are your quarters. Please notify us before take-off if there are any changes you find necessary for your species." nomuseneeded nomuseneeded

A set of guards, armed to the nines, arrived outside the cell in which the strange creature had been deposited. With the tap of a couple of buttons, the wall became transparent, allowing the guards to see and additionally speak to the creature within. "Please cease this noise, prisoner." Cold...that was all that he felt as the large dark metal crate he was in was moved in on a hover craft onto the ship. The massive crate wasnt being guided in the same side of the ship as the prisoners. On the contrary this massive crate was being transported into the cargo bay, and from there it would go to another section of the vessel it was being loaded on. The crates contents were very much alive, though unmoving and seemingly unresponsive. At one time a curious onlooker tried to peer into the thin strip of bars at the top of the front panel. However he was yanked away and promptly chastized "Are you tryin ta loose yer head numbskull? Leave the damned thing alone." upon hearing the sound the creature within the create opened its jaws inhaling audiably before emitting a low rumbling growl that would carry rather far in the echoey loading dock. It was the taste, chemically, sterile. A taste it recognized, for a breif moment its beady eyes narrowed into reddish slits. Its nostrils flared as it mixed the scents with the tastes in the air and relaxed a bit. They smelled similar to the old hurtful ones, but they were not the same, the underlying scent of primate gave it away.

the crate jostled a bit as it finally came to a stop. He let out a low moan to indicate his discomfort at all this motion and strange sounds. Only to hear
"Dont worry big guy things are gonna start lookin up for ya soon, all the space you could want, none of the pestering." the voice was feminine, soft and kind. It soothed him, a familiar sound and flavor. This was the primaye female who had been feeding him the past couple of weeks. Content that he had no more threats in the general vacinity the large creature curled back in on itself, its thick rough skin making a scraping sound like stone on steel as he shifted. Then silence or close to it, if one listened closely they could hear a deep breathing, as if someone were puffing the bellows of a furance.

gorks body raised up its strange pincer jaw mandible things moved in such a way it could vaguely be considered an amused smile it stopped making the ominous whistling its clawed hand tapping the ground if its cell making a strange mixture of clicking, whistling and mumbling like some sort of ungodly laughter, looking at the guards "good humans fear, good humans smile, good humans happy, good humans sad, good humans die when gork is near, good humans no more, only toys for my game, but good humans are good all the same"

Draven

Unknown Location

The room is dark, the silence broken by the occasional whisper and low voices. A door from an unknown direction opens, a faint light escapes into the room before the door closes and the darkness swallows up the distant light.
"It is done. Our sources have confirmed Shadow is aboard the Carandiru. Shadow has given us brief intel on the occupants/other prisoners aboard the ship. He speaks of a Fox like creature that is apparently causing trouble aboard the ship. He recommends she might be a future good addition to The Order. He has also noticed a guard that is not on our payroll but should be. He says he looks like he can be persuaded to be on the payroll for us. He goes by the name Morgan. A strange creature resides near him, a creature from the Null. The creature will not be an issue or interfere in the mission, Shadow claims. He claims there is an Otifne creature there. A rather infamous one. He does not know yet if it will pose an issue or get in his way on his mission to take out prisoner codename: Kain. He requests information on how he should deal with said creature. He has also heard rumblings from the inside about a creature being held in a different part in some special holding unit, it is supposed to be something very dangerous. He suggests perhaps we can feed prisoner codename: Kain to the creature and keep our hands clean" the man in the suit says in the dark room to the figures sitting around behind a table.

"No. The Order, the largest criminal organization on Earth, has been told by our leader, Draven himself, that he will personally murder and massacre the prisoner aboard the Carandiru ship when it is time. As for the other prisoners, We will report to Draven and relay instructions back to Shadow on how he should proceed with them and that guard. But we can relay one piece of information back to Shadow for now......................." the man sitting in the middle of the table in the opposite side of the room stands. "Our plan to take down the prisoner who took from us that's now aboard the Carandiru ship, it is officially now in effect"

Shadow (Tristan Blair as he is known to the general public and in prison)

A quiet figure stands in his cell unnoticed, as he watches the commotion around him and hears the other prisoners and guards shouting. "She's getting away!" "Detain her now!" "Fox let me out of here!". Shadow remains unnoticed as a guard briefly stands by his cell as all the other guards are busy and relays The Order's message to Shadow. Shadows nods and smiles as the guard leaves to chase down the rampaging prisoner (Fox)

Kel Keth

It was irritatingly infectious, the curious nature of the being sticking its face into hers. Kel feeling the emotions ripple through her body, a blinding curiosity and hyperactive excitement.

Her pale skin shifts color to a pastel yellow, the pupils of her eyes widening and small sparks seemed to dance in the middle of them. The resounding expression of meh upturned into a wide smile and the pitch of her voice began to tick upwards.

“I’m KelKeth! Or Kel! Or Keth! Imma Hezzine! You know? Those emotionless beings now scattered across the stars just tryingtoget home so we aren’t being subjectedto your alien minds! Feel too much, empaths” she holds up a bracelet, given to her to help mitigate the effects of her biology.

“Seesee?? Helps take the edge...off! Can’t go too deep, emotions too strong, imma just chill and not try to cause problems! SO LEAVE ME OUT OF IT!” Kel starts laughing to herself, doing her best to edge away from the commotion.

TheresaMelania TheresaMelania

A wide, maniacal grin spread across Fox’s face as she looked Kel Keth over from toe to head. “A Hezzine. I’ve heard of your kind but never had the pleasure to see one! Oh I’m sure we’re going to have some interesting times together,” she practically purrs. She moves to step closer to Kel, reaching out to touch her. A loud pounding sounded down the hallway as a squadron of soldiers in battle armor led by Nathaniel came barreling down the hallway at them. Nathaniel immediately aimed his sights at Fox, slowing his pace as he approached.

“Prisoner Fox, please step away from Prisoner Kel Keth,” he commanded. Fox continued to smile, watching Kel Keth as she put her hands up and backed away by a couple of feet. Ever the epitome of collected calm, Nathaniel kept his weapon trained on her as one of the other soldiers placed a collar around her neck and then fastened her arms behind her back. “Take her to the ship and lock her in her quarters. Make certain none of the other special transfers were affected,” Nathaniel ordered brusquely. Fox departed peacefully, giving Ensign Reeve a heavy-lidded look as she’s pushed toward the ship.

“I’ll be seeing you…” she whispered just loud enough for him to hear. Magnar Magnar

Nathaniel turned to look at Kel Keth, breathing steadily and calming his heart rate. Although he was not as good as the android behind her, he had practiced some breathing exercises exactly for situations such as this with a Hezzine prisoner. He signaled for the other soldiers to depart and they did quickly and efficiently. “Prisoner Kel Keth, please continue your way toward the ship. I intend for no more incidents to happen. Your quarters should be separate from the rest of the crew and prisoners to allow you to equilibrate.”

Teh Frixz Teh Frixz

~

The soldiers outside of gork’s “quarters” shuddered at the strange creature’s words. They glanced at each other with confused, panicked, and nervous expressions, clearly not prepared to handle a specimen so inhuman. One sucks up his courage and sternly speaks through the transparent wall to the creature.

“Cease this noise and understand that threats will not be tolerated and will be dealt with swiftly. We captured you and placed you in this cage and I’m certain we can do it again or even finish you long before we reach the new colony world.”

Huntertabbysandshark3 Huntertabbysandshark3

The guards threats seemed to only serve to make gork.... more amused or whatever counted as amusing to these creatures it’s arms dragged its tumours body towards the glass head raising up to face to face with the guards it’s bizarre jaw structure gnashing unsettling at both of them producing unearthly noise “humans your threats mean little to me, if this device was not upon my head....you would be my littles toys or very dead, i tell you only truth, no threats. If I was then the ship would be mine, you do know what gork can do? Do you?”

Kel Keth

The color drains from her space, the effects of the Fox-borne excitement fading out as the alien was brought away. Kel should have felt relief and a return to normalcy but instead was left with an
empty feeling of exasperation and fear. She was exhausted from the uncontrolled emotions the aliens kept spewing and just done with it all.

“If I was given a shuttle and sent back to my planet directly this wouldn’t be an issue anyways..”

She mumbles, upset but still thankful that the man was at least attempting to reign his emotions in. It was a pleasant experience to be able to interact with someone on her own terms and not however their feelings dictated.

“Thank you...whatever your name is. For understanding and trying. I actually get to be myself for the moment. Would you mind escorting me to my quarters” she refrained from using the word cell. “I would be immeasurably thankful. If I have to imprint on an alien around here I’d prefer it to be one such as yourself. I’m so tired of just losing me...”

She looks up, desperate eyes pleading for him to do something but knowing nothing could actually be done. It was a terrifying and horribly exhausting experience and she’d heard tales about other Hezzine trapped around aliens. Ones that ended with the Hezzine in question ending their lives rather than be held prisoner by the emotions of the aliens around them. She couldn’t imagine it getting that bad but didn’t want to find out.

The guards watched, uneasy, as gork approached the transparent wall. Despite knowing that it couldn't break through it, the ominous nature of the creature greatly disturbed them. "Let's just leave this prisoner here. Giving it attention can't help. Partiularly if it's just going to make threats at us. We'll make of note of it in the log but as soon as the ship launches it's not our problem anyway," one of the guards muttered to the other. He pressed a button on the wall, once again making the wall opaque and leaving the creature alone in its cell. Huntertabbysandshark3 Huntertabbysandshark3

~

Fox stepped slowly up the ramp onto the ship as the soldiers led her forward. No other prisoners were around now, which was unfortunate. It made a second espace attempt much less likely. But perhaps this ship would be interesting none-the-less. That Hezzine was quite interesting and might be a fascinating subject to study once they were in transit. Though she didn't know what anyone could possibly be thinking to put one in close proximity to... anyone really. Finally they deposited her in her cabin, locking the door securely behind her. The collar remained on but a few moments later the cuffs beeped and fell off her wrists. "Well... this should be interesting at least..."

~

Even though he was trying to suppress his emotions, Nathaniel did feel compassion and concern for this alien creature who was constantly at the mercy of other's thoughts and feelings. In his mind it seemed like the crime was not hers but in fact that of whoever had emotions strong enough to cause her to committ her crimes. But he was not the one in charge of those matters.

"I'm sorry that I cannot send you back to your planet. But hopefully the trip will not be too bad for you and on the new planet perhaps you can find a way to be happy. I will escort you to your quarters now. Please do let me know if there is anything I can do to make your stay on the ship safer and more comfortable. As much as this is a punishment, it's also a chance for all of you to start a new life." Nathaniel blushed a little under his armor when she looked up at his with pleading eyes. Although it couldn't be seen through his armor, the emotions were difficult to suppress. Even with breathing exercises, he knew it would be a struggle not to affect her almost constantly with his emotions. Teh Frixz Teh Frixz

Kel Keth

Kel nods and sighs, realizing that complaining to the man was useless and probably irritating for him. He wasn’t there to legislate justice, he was the executer. It would be like getting angry at an axe for cutting a tree down. He was the tool, not the one swinging.

“You have nothing to be sorry for...i’m the one that should be sorry...I’m just a bit desperate and shouldn’t complain at you. You are just doing your job. I just want it all over with.” Kel couldn’t have seen it under his armor but she did feel it, a faint pulse of emotion that slipped past the android and the inhibitor she had.

Her face blushes back, a pale soft pink that stood out in contrast to the blank color of her skin. Her eyes momentarily widen as she tried to fight off the changes.

“Ex..excuse me...did..did you...”

She slips for a moment, losing control for just a second.

“I like my old life...I’d jus be scared to start a new one alone...”

Kel quickly shakes her head, trying to get the color and emotive experience out of her body. She pales once again, smiling of her own volition

“Again, sorry....what was your name again?”

Nathaniel watched as the changes in his emotions, slight as they were, caused the woman to turn a pale soft pink. He grit his teeth against his emotions inside his armor. He knew that what just happened made him feel something odd but he’d have to inspect it later, when alone.

“Do not worry, you won’t be starting a new life alone. The crew is here to assist you and the other prisoners will soon be your companions in a new life. Our goal is to make sure you all become productive members of your new society.
“ He intoned, basically just reciting government policy, although there was a tone of sincerity behind his words suggesting he truly wanted this for them.

“My name is Nathaniel. We should keep moving and get you to your quarters where you can rest and your emotions are your own again,” he said and began leading her and the android to the ship, where the loading ramp was empty for her arrival. Teh Frixz Teh Frixz
