I wanted to check before we start if anyone else is interested. This is the general overview. It is Detailed, and there are already a bunch of people who've made characters. If you are interested, come check it out! We don't have any Were-wolves yet, nor any Partial Animals or Gargoyles, but you could also be a Vampire like others. Lots of choices.

• Vampires have always been creatures of shadow, in the depths of everyone's minds, but never real. They were always these elusive creatures. Beautiful but dangerous, like a pale rose, but with fangs in place of thorns. Throughout history, these creatures have caused much havoc, pain, and turmoil, drinking to their fill, and leaving the carcasses behind. Small, wise pockets of humanity eventually banded together, hunting them to near extinction. The smart vampires survived, having blended in well in the first place, while the feral, the stupid, and the unlucky were rooted out. Many of the survivors were of Pureblood or Royal pedigrees. They rose to high positions due to their natural charm and abilities, and obtained powerful positions in the vulnerable world of humankind. Slowly and steadily repopulating, keeping their race in the dark by utilizing their social power, they have become a major force in the world once again. This time, however, they are teaching their people more temperance and self-control, the more wild bloodlines eliminated during the crusades.
• Learning from their past mistakes, vampire-kind have begun to act more as a part of society than as an elitist species. Special schools and businesses have opened all over, "Private programs" that accept only the undead and otherwise inclined into its ranks. In these places many vampires are trained and taught to handle their inner beast, and control their thirst. Effectively, they are taught how to assimilate without changing what they are.
  
  
  One such school, the best around, Prestigious Bloodlines Academy otherwise known as PBA, offers both protection and learning. Protection from new groups and old groups of vampire hunters alike is key to these schools' survival, and possibly even the race's survival in the long run. But security slips, and many vampire hunters have found ways to disguise themselves as students...

  The most successful and vastly populous species, human-kind would seem to be the most disadvantageous species; they've near no special abilities, no natural magic nor psychic tendencies and they can't take tremendous damage nor fly. Yet, through some miracle, humans have emerged not only the dominant species, but are nearly completely uncontested. They are neutral in relations to near all other species, though all are wary of humans, and humans are wary of all others. Few humans know about the other intelligent species.
  
  
  
  
  
  Were-Wolves are the second most prodigious species, since they are able to so well hide themselves and reproduce relatively quickly. They hide easily in society, but are easily identified by other supernatural species. They get on well with dragons and partial animals, while they are wary of gargoyles and Spirits due to their effective immortality, viewing them as “Unnatural”. Being so strong as a species and just as capable of hiding and nearly matching vampires in physical traits, they are in a state of near war with the powerful undead.
  
  
  
  
  
  New onto the scene of the supernatural world, no one is sure where the first few Partial Animals came from. They are magically inclined to the point that near all of them have mastered the magical arts beyond what most other species are even capable. This sets them in polite tension with regards to the vampires. They naturally get along extremely well with werewolves, but are still wary of spirits and gargoyles.
  
  
  
  
  
  Still suffering from their own hunts many, many years ago, Dragonkin were quickly taken in by the opportunistic vampires who had long been hiding in the shadows. They quickly struck an alliance, vampires finding dragons to be extremely useful allies, and dragons finding vampire’s ability to modify minds too invaluable to give up, if they liked them or not. While in modern times dragons have been prospering more in their more tame forms, full dragons are still a very rare thing. Instead, long ago vampires had been having dragons breed with humans and other species to produce half dragons and lower. The result is a world with many dragonkin, while still having few dragons. Full dragons have a greater degree of freedom than their partial blooded compatriots due to the continued existence of some dragon hunters. They have threatened to out their own existence and nest nearby important places to the vampires, effectively driving all kinds of investigations unto them.
  
  
  
  
  
  Gargoyles have always existed alongside every other species, but unlike others, have not made a nuisance a of themselves and have been nearly invulnerable when they do. However, due to their docile nature, humans and other species had quickly picked up on gargoyle’s helpfulness, those humans who know placing gargoyles in towns as a form of protection from other species. They became mistaken as a way to “Scare away demons,” though from the human perspective the statement was true. Statues of gargoyles sprung up everywhere accordingly, making it impossible to know when one was being watched. They are generally unknown to humans of modern times and on good terms with those who do know, which places them on relatively solid ground compared to the other types of nonhumans. Due to their immortality, incredible strength, unflappable calm and unnervingly statue like nature, they are regarded with a degree of caution surpassed only by humans.
  
  
  
  
  
  Since there has been death, Spirits have existed. The lingering souls with those who have the will to make it so and a reason to not move on, Spirits have a truly unique condition among all creatures. Any kind can become a Spirit, and though the nature of death remains a mystery even to the Spirits, they are as proof regarded there is life after the death of a body. The power of Spirits often depends upon its treatment, with the power of some spirits not changing over time, but the power of Spirits that are worshipped capable of escalating to unnerving levels. The true form of a Spirit is an orb, or Will-O’-The-Wisp as they’re commonly known, but they can take any shape they desire. Most prefer to take the form used in their life. Their nature of being dead, along with their ability to shift between physical and incorporeal forms, makes them set in an uncomfortable but not realistically changeable terms with the other races other than gargoyles.

I'm literally stroking my beard and debating wether to join or not. Detailed, that's what really gets me. I used to do 3 paragraphs of writting, but that has sort of de-evolved over time. Hmmm....

I won't be strict about the size requirement. Quality over quantity all the way. I just didn't like the entirety of the other options, I liked detailed the most for the thought process involved. @Beowulf
