What, never seen a sentient, magical tree before?
PLAGUE
The story starts on October 3rd, 2019.
It seems that overnight, in only one night, a tragedy has risen and many have fallen. A genetically modified disease of unknown origin has managed to infected nearly 53% of the population, all transformed into mindless, walking corpses. There are three stages of the disease.
Stage one includes coughing, sneezing and headaches. That's one way the disease infects.
Stage two includes nausea, drier skin and primal aggression. They will bite and attack most people nearby, another way of getting infected.
Stage three is tragic. In this stage, afflicted get weaker by the infection, and their brain shuts down in 20 minutes after this stage. Once they're dead, the disease feeds off the skin for maybe 30 minutes. What happens next was thought to be scientifically impossible, but after 50 minutes the infection takes over the brain and restarts it, with great aggression towards anything that isn't already dead, man or not.
-Zombies-
The undead can vary in appearance and capabilities, but they all have one thing in common; hunt down prey, man or animal. When the skin is eaten by the virus, it makes a few spots of exposed flesh on their face and limbs, which look like wounds. This is the first way to identify them. The second way they can be identified is their pale skin, grey and sometimes deathlike white. The third way is the way they walk; it's not very fluent, usually slow. However, recently transformed zombies can have adrenaline like bursts.
Another thing to know about zombies is their physical strength is usually weak, but it can vary from different individuals. For example, if a weight-lifter were to become a zombie, they would be stronger then most zombies. If a weak man were to transform, he would be even weaker.
They are attracted by loud sounds, the smell of blood and light exposure during night.
