Good evening folks its that bastard Ori here with some exciting news to lay upon you, you see me and a friend of mine (our most holy DM @GoblinNerd27 ) have brought upon the thought that we should all fight along down an adventure path, The shattered star is a rather large adventure, prebuilt with dungeons, fun npcs, and many evil things to try and eat our toes like giants, kobolds, goblins that don't understand the meaning of "You can't eat that", werewolves, werebadgers, werechickens and many more wonderous and magical creatures for us to put to the sword, staff, axe, spiked chain, spear- hahahahah, just kidding, who ever uses a spear right? Peasants, thats who.
Were looking for a few people to come along on this journey, but of course with such calls to adventure we need to sit down a few ground rules.
Stats are 4d6 and drop the lowest one(two sets of this max) or a 24 point buy.
All books allowed, again, no third party, if you want weapon master's handbook(most recent splat book that came out, pretty much gives fighter SO much more to work with, talk to me.)
All classes are open, no third party.
All races are open, no third party, doesn't mean we make a full team of aasimar, without a good damn story. No androids though, no robo waifu's on this party boat. Say the word Trox and I will give you the most disapproving of gazes.
If you need to leave for something in the near future, have other engagements you need to fufill, don't think you'll fully enjoy this, rethink joining this, we don't have many folks on the DICE board as is so flaking just hurts even more.
If you don't hear anything from the thread for a few days, say something, bookmark the thread and try to frequent it as much as you can, much like the above rant, folks have a tendency to think. "Well I've been hearing nothing, must be dead." Sometimes it's dead because people are waiting on your lazy behind, keep tabs on the ooc, maybe you'll just make a friend and talk about how that giant nearly crushed your mind, body and soul with one swipe.
try to be a guy people will talk about in fondness, can it be fun burning bridges? yes! Can it produce worthwhile friendships and possible leads to other games without people silently cringing behind the veil of their computer screens? You answer that one.
Want to play something strange? Powerful? Confusing? Silly? Horrifying? i'd recommend bringing it up with the Dm, to reiterate thats this guy @GoblinNerd27 , try to explain why you are there, the adventure path is one thing but it's always possible to tie a story into something bigger, do they have a personal quest? Are they after the legendary mcguffin to save their village from the plague of sickysick? Do they simply want to go out and adventure because life back home sucks eggs? You decide, just be certain it fits.
Don't be that guy. You know that guy, don't be him/her/it/turkey.
we need 3 more people, group of four with number four being myself.
If you have any questions please ask.
Also, big thing, have fun, triumph through turmoil gives the greatest of stories. Share a story down below, of an epic deed, a flash of cunning, a hilarious bugger up that ended with a success.
Don't assume after 3-4 posts here all positions are filled, applicants are viewed under scrutiny and we reserve the right to deny should things be really buggered up, shouldn't have to say it at all but thats the world we live in.
