Why Stop Dreaming When You Wake?
There is only one place to live and that is the city at the center of the world; Orddence. A large city with the recorded population of everyone on the planet. However, only the strongest, most intelligent, and 'morally right' people are allowed to stay.
Orddence or also known as The City, grants shelter to everyone from the danger that lies on the outside of its walls. Nobody knows when or how The City was made, but it's too good for anyone to question. Murderous, mysterious beings, dating back before the earliest recorded humans, lie on the other side. Its form a mess of darkness, dripping and reforming by the moment. It can destroy a human in mere moments if they're not prepared. The outside world is dangerous and shrouded with smog from a time long since passed. The sun never shines bright due to constant pollution, the outside is cold, harsh, and filled with radiation and nuclear storms. Entire climates are thrown off shifts, everything that was once living has adapted into cruel, life-sucking beasts that are shadows of their former selves.
In Orddence, laws are to be followed, or you'll be evacuated from the city. Forced to face the perils of the outside world. However, everyone who is evacuated is given a chance. If they live out on their own and not only survive off the land, but also survive from the dark predators for their sentence, they'll be let back into The City as top-ranking warriors and guards or if they choose, High status perks within their profession. (Assuming you've learn your lesson.)

In this feared, new, unforgiving world that is a shift from your usual life of comfort, how will you hone your skills and make friends with other law-breakers (or stab them in the back) to survive?
