What happens when you get an overly eager occult club and cosmic entities? A whole lot of terror.
As a member of the Occult Club, whose upbringing was nothing short of a journey, the love of oddities and cosmic horror has brought unsettling circumstances. What seemed to be a harmless club, had become something far more dangerous -- with an unfathomable barbarity. It has taken over the club's technology and implanted itself onto the campus and its student body to cause a series of terrors and its own intelligence.
Together, the group uncovers an otherworldly entity, summoned by their own morbid curiosity. What was supposed to be a moment of thrill, began to tear itself between the fabrics of reality, infesting the new world. As the interactions grew, so did its power and hunger. Its only desire is to feast on the fears of the club members and the rest of the university's population, gradually growing to engulf the world.
The portal, as time commences, begins to feed on the negative energy hailed by the club's curiosity and odd objects.
As the portal grows, so will the entities and its numbers. Will the club be able to stop the tear and reverse it? Or will they be devoured by its consequences?

In this roleplay, you will be in the shoes of an Angelwood University student; one who has an interest in the occult or one that just wants club credits on their academic report, either way, expect to be terrorized. THE PRESIDENT
The one who started it all; a leader in over their head with a fascination turned obsession. As President of the club, most activities are overseen by them, if not all, and some are often done right under the nose of the club's Administrator. There's one thing to note about the President: that maybe they're a bit too far in to dig their way out.

THE VICE PRESIDENT
The President's Right Hand, someone who--more often than not--goes along with the President's crazy ideas. Having taken on the role, which was competitive to say the least, the Vice President is more than capable. Their curiosity for the unknown played a hand in the establishment of the club.

THE SECRETARY
One of the more responsible people in the club--or so, they should be--The Secretary is responsible for the arrangement of meetings, administration, and upholding the club's constitution. A pro at handling the paperwork, The Secretary often finds loopholes for the club's developmental endeavors. To say that they're incapable of keeping the club organized would be an insult.

THE SKEPTIC
A firm unbeliever, the Skeptic has joined the Occult Club to disprove their findings. Often butting heads with the Club Officers, it's a surprise that they haven't kicked this person out yet--and maybe, just maybe, they'll finally be able to prove to the Skeptic that these entities are real.
THE EXPERT
More knowledgable than arguably the rest of the Club's members, this member is an expert in cosmicism, loveraftian horror, and the occult; intelligent, strong-willed, and not hesitant to back their own opinions and facts, the Expert is a valuable part of the club's functions.
THE TRUST FUND BABY
The Occult Club's primary source of income, the Trust Fund baby throws money their way--sure to make the club's officers wary to step on their toes. Either here for the credits or here for the love of all things horror, the Trust Fund Baby is here to stay--as long as they keep giving the club the money they need.
THE FANATIC
One of the more obsessed members, seldom do they hesitate to participate in the club's activities; the one who suggests the most, is the most activate participant, and true believer of the unknown, The Fanatic is more than just someone that's interested. Others may be put off by their overly eager attitude towards the exploration of the occult, some may be fascinated. Either way, there's no doubt that this character is far from uninterested.
THE HYSTERIC
Afraid of everything, it's a wonder why they've joined the Club. One creak of a door, one off sound, and The Hysteric is thrown into--well--hysterics. Often seen crying, screaming, or jumping at the slightest thing, the Hysteric isn't the most magnetic of members; some even call them the baby.
THE FRESHMAN
The Occult Club's youngest member, the freshman is a newer face on campus and one unfamiliar with most of the club. They are, however, trying their best to show up and become an active member; what most likely drew them in was the fresh tray of cookies and the promise of horror movie nights. They're in for a treat.
THE JOURNALIST
Not necessarily a member of the Occult Club, the Journalist is a member of the Journalism club--covering the University Paper's pages with the Club's activities, criticism or fawning, and--with the right price--keeping the more morbid things under wraps.
THE VIDEOGRAPHER
The Occult Club's holder of memories, the Videographer films rituals, events, and takes pictures for the Occult Club's page--running their social media pages and working closely with the club officers. It's possible that they've caught something on camera multiple times, but it's either edited out or the footage has become too corrupt to even upload.
THE MEDIUM
A communicator of spirits, the Medium helps the club perform its seances, even if they could be risky. Either paid or unpaid, the Occult Club is a regular client of theirs--and they may even be a member themselves. Run ins with entities are common, given the Campus' long history and the Occult Club's antics. Will they be able to help when it's needed most?
THE PLUS ONE
The friend that was pulled into the club's antics; the Plus One is the fanatic's close friend, someone that only joined the club because their friend talked them into it. They don't necessarily want to be there, but it couldn't hurt to join. Right? This character may or may not know about what the occult club does, or have any knowledge of the occult at all. They're just happy to be here.
THE CLOWN
Comedic relief. The Clown cracks jokes in times of turmoil and stress, rarely seen taking the club's activities seriously. Close with the Skeptic, the Clown--although seeming to not be a believer--has had their fair share of paranormal interactions. Mainly there for club credits, the Clown may or may not be as interested as the other members. Most likely the one of mess something up for the sake of laughs.
