Storyline:
The current story revolves around a newly formed mercenary unit led by Captain Seles Klarth, the longest serving Captain of the Norhad Swords. Their primary mission is the protect the citizens of the rural territories of a kingdom as well as discover and eliminate any operations by the wars antagonist, the Kingdom of Lanark. Currently they are discovering a plot to undermine the whole Norhad Swords Initiative.
Setting:
The Backdrop of the Story on a Continental Scale is the event known as the BLOOD WARS. It is a war that has been ongoing for 500 years with both hot and cold periods. Currently it is a hot period, with the antagonist Kingdom of Lanark, having conquered 200 milion hectares of land from 4 other kingdoms on the continent.
It is a Fantasy genre which includes multiple races, the use of 'magic' or supernatural powers, otherworldly animals and plants, Royal nobility, castles,
I modeled the time period of the RP to have parallels with 18th and 19th century architecture, technologies, political situations, governmental structures etc.
It does contain aspects of Steampunk as well, use of firearms, airships and locomotives being the primary means of transportation.
Original Content:
There is a ton of original content. This RP has been rebooted several times over the past few years. I have always tried to keep all the information together to pass down to the next iteration. Players over the years have contributed a lot to the lore in the form of animals, plants, locations and technologies.
Combat: There exists a crude yet measured way of combat in this RP. In addition to combat flavor text, through the power of basic dice rolls, resource consuming abilities and a custom engagement scenario, players can enjoy a meaningful combat experience. As the first sentence explains, this is purely for the players enjoyment, and those who do not wish to participate can choose to opt out, and still RP through the combat periods.
