Hey back for another. I just experienced this so this really fresh in my head. The haunted mansion from Dust an Elysian Tail. The music is unsettling with sounds such as the floor creaking and footsteps being heard time to time. It's one of those cases where you wish some sort of scare would happen just to fill the void.
Yeah, and the first time the ghost thing poofs into existence, that scared the hell out of me. I had no idea that was coming for I don't read guides unless I have to aka being really stuck. Afterwards it was just suspenseful outrunning the ghost traversing a new mansion.

The most disturbing moment I have encounter while playing a video game is when I came across the monster for the first time in Amnesia the Dark Descent, the utter panic and fear that hit in the moment feeling like I was actually being chased in real life.

Having to kill the surgeon in Last of Us at the end of the game. For that matter killing anyone in The Last of Us. Not only was it gory, but it carried a feeling of guilt to kill someone in that game. Naughty Dog put human elements into even the NPC's you have to kill. It didn't feel right, and that's what made it a good game. The fact that killing someone had weight in the game is impressive.

Bioshock. That scene where you are just about to leave the elevator and you hear a man screaming as some weird monster impales him before looking directly at you and jumping on it, trying to break in to murder you too

Most disturbing part in any game I've ever played would probably be in Spec Ops The Line. I'll spare the details as I don't want to spoil the story. But it's the Refugee Camp scene. Those who have played it know what I'm talking about. Great game.
This. Exactly what I thought, not just that scene though but what happens later on in the game as your choices start making everything worse and when you find out the truth. fml, I enjoyed the game but it made me question my choices in the game itself. For what seemed like it was going to be a normal military shooter it really did fuck with you.

The first horrifying one that comes to mind is Dreaming Mary. God, the nightmare realm freaked me out. It's late where I live and I'm scared to leave my room because I was reminded of The Chaser.

Also, the ending where Mary wakes up but can't leave her room. It hurts seeing such a brutal reality, but not being able to do anything but go back to bed.

I'll have to replay the game sometime soon. It's been a long time since I last played it.

I saw Mass Effect in here, so I'm just going to saw say that the VI on the Jarrahe research station gave me chills. I mean, it was just eerie that she/it had killed everyone there, and the way it spoke...chills, ok?

Also, the human reaper from ME2...that was just...wrong, scary. Looking at and thinking that hundreds of thousands of people were liquified to make it, and knowing it would take perhaps millions more to finish is just bone-chilling for me.

[QUOTE="Vorpal Chandelier]lol i feel a little silly saying my earliest creep fest from a video game was those blob things in zelda ocarina of time. the ones that look all bloody and stuff in one of the later dungeons.

You mean Like-Likes? They swallow Link and spit him out without a shield?

What the... Hell? This looks like something Satan would have drawn as a child.

Oh, and the start of Medal of Honor: Allied Assault where they just throw you in the deep end on Omaha beach.

Also, any moment involving a tank in Men of war when I only have infantry, none having AT grenades.

When in the game Zombi, you straight up go on a rampage with the AK47 on a horde of infected and watch them drop and blood spill everywhere and their heads pop.

Many said spec ops the line, many are so fucking right. My brain never was fucked so hard before or since finishing that game.

Silent Hill contains pretty disturbing stuff throughout the series. I only finished the games I played thanks to my nerves of steel. Silent Hill 2 stands out the most though.

Well, to add on to Daisie's comment....

(Undertale spoilers ahoy!)

When you enter the shower room in the True Lab to get one of the keys. I always have to take off my headphones because the music was so tense, and the fact you're being slow and the thing behind the curtains moves faster as you get closer does not help matters much.
Also, TF2 has its moments in the form of responses. The quotes are usually pretty funny, but wear the Medimedes cosmetic as Medic and the Round Start lines are....well...

All I can say is Medic definitely regrets giving himself a bird head.

xD I totally forgot about that Undertale part. *Shudders* Why have you summoned this back into my memory? You literally sent chills down my spine, making me think about it, lol.

*Shudders again*

Probably had to be watching a cutscene where a highschool girl gets her legs smashed off with a sledgehammer and dragged off by the dead principal of the cursed school by her hair...Fun.

Going into Springvale Elementary in Fallout 3 and seeing the jail cells with the child skeletons next to them, alongside with the fact there are bodies hung on up the ceilings.

I'm pretty desensitized to violence and such, though the main thing that bothered me were the implications...

Just the whole beginning sequence of Resident Evil 7. My god was all of that disturbing. Like everything leading up to the Garage Fight against Jack is just incredibly disturbing.
