Appearance: From outright appearance it is quite clear that Edna isn Artificial. Colloquially known as a homunculus, though the term is semi derogatory. Her skin, like others of her ilk, is pale, colorless in fact. More akin to porcelain in texture, yet warm and soft to the touch.

The trend of colorlessness follows as her hair is clear as well, giving the appearance of white. There is a lingering amount of grey and black in her hair tone, in the process of washing out after an ill advised attempt at dyeing in order to blend in. The only color of note on her fairly monochrome body being the brick red color of her eyes.

A pleasant figure, there is an abnormality to her shape and size that the human eye can pick out rapidly. An uncanny sort of figure that comes from being made by humanity but not part of it. She was batch made, designed in effect, to be pleasing to the eye, exaggerating feminine features. Yet despite the hand crafted quality of her body, the detached nature and aloof feeling she exudes gives the impression of talking to a doll.

Physically fit, as she is designed to be, there is no sign of any external musculature on her body despite a tremendous strength inherent in Artificials.

She dresses primarily in uniform befitting her earned station as an officer with the Thwarters. The terminology used for the naval based anti smuggling force of law. She is often commended on her perfect appearance, aligning to regulation on or off duty. Off duty she either leans toward common garb, simple dresses and corsets, or in the privacy of her small home, nothing at all except the odd robe.

Skills: Created with an innate sense of self, Edna, like all others of her kind, at able to hold perfect control over their bodies. Balancing on impossibly thin rails, withstanding tremendous amounts of physical damage, able to compartmentalize and ignore pain, Artificals are physically as close as their creators could image perfect to be.

Individually, Edna is a learned, skilled officer of the Law, memorizing and enforcing all manner of obscure rule and regulation while remaining in her jurisdiction.

As a specialized person in her profession, she has also developed a substantial knowledge of the waterways and criminal underbelly of Steelhollow. The major movers and shakers are known by heart, the way water flows down major canals and dingy channels alike are no mystery. Even the maze of sewers is somewhat known to Edna, having been known to lead expeditions into those dark warrens.

Bio: Created in the twentieth batch of Female Form Artificials, Edna model, or Edna F-20, was one of the last of her generation and for good reason. Her artificer, unknown at the time but later found out to be an Archanic, added a bit of something extra to her batch. The spark that let life be born into them wasn’t a spark, but a flame. A fueled spirit that craved more than their purpose built nature of servitude.

They craved individuality and acceptance into the world that had birthed them. Their artificer soon arrested for his crimes, not their creation but the longevity built into them and the minimal contracts associated with them.

Each of his creations outliving their assigned roles and being subsequently ‘grandfathered’ in as rightful individuals, despite substantial discrimination.

Edna left her former owner as a free being and promptly enlisted with the Blueguard. By age four she had reached the position of an Auxiliary Officer and joined up with the Thwarters, eventually being commissioned with her own riverboat and crew, able to maintain an intense watch over her assigned district.

To this day she continues her work, bringing justice to the waterways of Steelhollow.

Personality:
It is commonly thought that Artificials have little in the way of personality, their quiet, expressionless demeanors often Misattributed to heartlessness and cold logic. This is fundamentally incorrect. Edna feels deeply, every interaction essentially new and without much in the way of memories to temper against, every insult cuts deep, every love heartfelt, emotions within her are raw and tender.

Because of this and because she’s aware of this, her reactions are carefully measured as not to provoke further response. She remains quiet, bottling up how she feels, only to be expressed later through private contemplation and careful expressions. With the careful helping hand of alcohol and stimulants, Edna is able to maintain a working attitude of careful detachment from the bad while being sure to focus on the morally good.

Likes/Dislikes: Edna fervently dislikes criminal activity and general low morals. She can see the good in most things, therefore she can also see the bad.

Origin:

An artificial, Edna was made, not born. Her form was brought into existence four years earlier, three more than her initial existence was supposed to be. Artificials most often being created with a defined existence and a limited lifespan. They remain in primarily servile positions, quietly fulfilling their roles without question.

Usually custom built for the position, Edna and her batch were made to outlive their contracts as the last batch created by their Archaic. As such, they’ve developed unique personalities and their own individual goals.

Artificials possess multiple differences than both humans and Archaics due to their origins. Inside them burns small ‘furnace’ of sorts. This provides them energy to operate their artificial bodies. While not as efficient as human digestion, it allows the Artificials to consume nearly anything.

Sleep is not required, but can be used as a ‘reserve’ mode to conserve energy. A resting artificial can come to in an instant, notably Artificials cannot dream.

Daisy possesses great hand to hand skill from having to grow up in a gang, she would constant get into fights. She's got some good knowledge on weaponry and carries around a power suit that allows her to move faster and strike harder.

Bio:
Daisy was a member of a gang in Thunder Alley, the home of the downtrodden. The gang was known as the "Red Revolt" and the few who remember them know them as nothing more as a cautionary tale of not daring to fly too close to the sky. They were a group who were praised by the Thunder Alley citizens yet slowly they became more and more violent as their leader became increasingly unstable. Daisy's older brother was the leader of Red Revolt. They were not related by blood but they formed Red Revolt. His name was Cole Callahan and he suffered from Dementia.

Cole became increasingly unstable and the nature of Red Revolt became more violent as he came to the belief that the rich and powerful needed to be destroyed. Of course the Bluegard would step in eventually and squash the entire gang in a battle. Of all the members only Daisy survived, simply haunted by the memories. Nobody saw her again. However new rumors of a Pyro Terrorist would surface as the name Stormie was whispered in the streets of Steelhollow. A vigilante whose motives are unknown, simply striking down corrupt members of society one by one.


Personality: As Stormie she is quite coldhearted, the slightest back-talk from anyone annoys her immensely and she isn't one to shy away from getting violent or striking anyone who gets in her way. She secretly has hallucinations from time to time due to the trauma of watching her brother die.

Bio: Having seemingly come from thin air The Gentleman's background is a strange and murky one. Having shown up one day in the 5th District to thwart a robbery they made themselves known to the Blueguard and agents of the Commonwealth offering their services. Sceptic at first they eventually allowed him to help on some of the more trickier crimes that were being committed. Why The Gentleman was helping them was anyone's guess, but it was welcome with the rising tide of crimes, murders and the like rampaging across the city, even more so due to his success rate of cleaning up crime. Now the name of The Gentleman is one feared by those that would do wrong. Why? Because a Gentleman does not get angry... they get even.

Title: Street Rat, Prettyboy (hasn't been called that since he was young)

Appearance: Atlas is a taller figure standing at 6'0 even, which is a curse in the more cramped compartments of a ship. With fair skin with no other blemishes other than the obvious scar running down his forehead and going in-between his light blue eyes. Atlas's hair is rather tame, parting at the front and falling only to a medium length. It stays a chestnut color throughout its length.

Body wise Atlas is fairly well built, with broad shoulders and a fair amount of muscle built up. Upon closer inspection someone might notice it's covered in small nicks and scars.

Generally while on duty Atlas wears the standard jumpsuit that all blueguard engineers wear, though he usually has the top part unzipped with the sleeves tied around his waist, leaving the black tank top he wears underneath. Off duty Atlas tends to wear more casual clothes, t-shirts, jeans, and a jacket with a fur collar.

Skills: Atlas is a talented engineer, he's well versed in most machines ranging from engines to odd inventions of his own design. Give him a broken machine and he'll either, fix it, make it into something new, or break it even more. Atlas is also fairly good at close quarters and hand to hand combat, exceling with swords, knives, and whatever object he can get his hands on. And lastly Atlas is also a good climber after spending a lot of his younger years climbing to either get around stuff or potentially break in somewhere. Atlas is also well versed in more unsavory acts such as lockpicking, stealing, and pickpocketing from his younger years.

Bio: Born and raised in the slums of Thunder Alley. Atlas was a street rat, doing what he could on the streets to survive. His family life wasn't the best, a father who spent most of his time working in the mines, and most of his earning in a bar. Atlas' mother on the other hand is most likely the reason Atlas turned out to be a descent human being, or at least one that isn't behind bars or dead in a ditch. She was a kind woman who tried to make the best out of their situation. Though despite this Atlas still got into some trouble, starting a "gang" in his younger teenage years. They mostly did smaller jobs such as petty thievery and getting into trouble, they were more of a group of rambunctious kids than an actual gang. They were a tightknit group of kids who looked out for each other and their community.

One day Atlas' gang decided to strike back at those living lavishly, it was the heist to end all heists for them. In reality it was just a simple breaking and entering in the 1st district, but to a bunch of kids it felt like hitting the jackpot. Though expectedly they weren't successful and Atlas was the only one who came back, battered and bloodied. It was then Atlas realized he wouldn't be any help or change the world if he was behind bars or dead. So he decided to change Steelhollow from the inside, enlisting in the Blueguard with hopes to rise through the ranks and hopefully cause change. Though he's been deployed to the Smuggle Thwarters as an engineer.

Personality: Atlas is a kind but stoic individual, it's clear to see that growing up in Thunder Alley had hardened him but his mothers teaching left him with a heart. But that doesn't stop him from being straight to the point or brutally honest. Though he makes it clear that he wants to make the world a better place and openly criticizes the world around him, even if it might land him in trouble. He's been pretty headfast to accomplish his goal but has been second guessing if he can actually do it as of late.

Her go to daily fashion however is just plain white shirts cut up or re-sewn to accent her assets. She loves to wear coveralls and trousers that workmen use due to the bagginess of the fit. She has her signature metal skull pendant, chains and multitool wristlet always on full display. Her shoes and boots always have their signature 'Magical' pink painted upon them. And of course she will always be seen carrying around one of her famous Sky-Carving Decks... and hopefully she will be sporting her fan-favourite; the Red Devil!!

~Bio:



  • Corki is an orphan who was adopted by an airship mechanic and a seamstress couple from District 4 when she was just a toddler. She has no idea as to who her real parents are.
  • An accident that crippled her dad became a financial setback for the family as he lost his job and had became a struggling airships parts dealer. Her mom expanded her tailoring to a store front and was mildly successful until she was extorted by the mafia to give up 'protection' money.
  • Corki tried to help where she could but it was not until she hit puberty and her Arcanic ability began to manifest did she begin to bring in extra money. What started off as just fooling around doing stunts and tricks riding a plank of wood became a spectacle. A paying one.
  • With her newfound ability, she was able to do small performances and earn a meagre sum. And then one of the buyers of her dad's airship parts found out about Corki's ability and hired her on as an entertainer on his airship casino; The Majestic Nights.
  • Corki would zip around the casino as a server and perform tricks to small crowds of people on the deck of the airship to delight and entertain.
  • Her notoriety reached the ears of an entertainment mogul; Jincarda arMadara of the arMadara Entertainment Collective. They were famous for their theatrical acrobatic performances and were looking to expand their acts into the sky. And Corki was their key.
  • Jincarda bought out her contract from the casino and was promptly taken in by the Collective. She thrived under the training from the AEC and the challenges posed to her as an athlete.
  • With Corki's airship knowledge they caught lightning in a bottle when she leapt from the hull of one airship to the inflatable balloon of another. No one had ever seen such a thing. And therein started the wild and imaginative routines of the arMadara Aerials; the Death-Defiers perfroming from the arMadara flagship, The Prestidigitator.
  • Fame and fortune poured in as crowds upon crowds of people gathered on both the ground and air to see the multi-floating platform stunts pulled off by the young entertainers. Each performance seemingly outdid the prior one. And now she was launching herself from one moving airship to the next.
  • She was known as 'Ms. Magical' in the troupe and her popularity sky-rocketed and she earned herself a following of adoring fans lovingly known as 'The Mantra.'
  • Her parents no longer struggle financially since she was sending them money. And now she bought and moved them into a much, much nicer place on the much, much, nicer area of District 4.
  • But whilst moving, she found the documents of her adoption... and the little snippet that blew her mind. She has a biological sister, somewhere out there in the city!
  • Not wanting to cause a scene with her parents, she did not tell them she found out. And so Corki did a bit of digging up info. The documents are for real.
  • So now Corki is at a major crossroads in her young life. Leave and betray her new 'family' at the arMadara collective to seek out her sister, or leave it be and let the past remain unknown and buried.

  • Acrobat/Performer - trained by the experts and veterans of the arMadara collective, Corki has learned how to fully impact her performances with not just athletic prowess but one with second-to-none showmanship. Yes, she mainly performs using her Arcanic 'surfing' ability however, she is also an accomplished acrobat and wire-worker. She is also a trained dancer now too!
  • Airship Familiarity - taught by her former ariship mechanic father all she knows about them. Also learned info about fancier ones like the Majestic Nights and the Prestidigitator. She has hands-on experience repairing and upgrading the Majestic, and she even has 10hrs logged of flight training as a pilot for a smaller one, The Easy Breezy.
  • Business sense - with the help of her parents she has learned how to market her skills and now her merch. She has a clothng line called Chronically Yours that caters to all her fans, especially the rebellious teens.

Arcanic: Telekinetic Propulsion
  • Hovering - She can float up to 5 feet off any solid surface without disturbing what is below her.
  • Surfing - she does not necessarily need her Sky-Carving Deck to move around while hovering, however, the carving deck allows her to surf and control her movements with a grace and attitude that has given her her rise to fame. The deck allows her to reach speeds of 40mph. Without it she can only go half that at barely 20mph.
  • Weird Gravity - while surfing, she can ride up the sides of buildings and even along the underside of the hull of an airship. Upsidedown! All the while she is not disoriented nor does she feel the pull of gravity from the earth but from the pull under her feet. She can do the kind of same movement while hovering without the deck but she may only go as fast as she may run on regular flat ground.

Appearance: 5’9 Vanilla skin tone with dark brown eyes. Is normally seen in proper uniform apparel of a blueguard officer, and is known for keeping a tidy demeanor only allowing his signature stache to be the facial hair showing. It has turned from the natural black color to gray as the man has aged.

Skills: With age comes experience and Dixon is no exception to this. In his years of youth and service he has come to greatly unlock his arcanic potential through the immense stress he has had in his dozens of years of service in the blueguards. He has grown to develop a series of skills rudimentary for an officer of law codes, but also more importantly how to keep the balance between factions of the city. He carefully makes sure that his officers don’t over zealously cause an incident, while making sure everything is above board that the commonwealth doesn’t lock down their technical control on the blue guards.

Bio: In his youth he was eager to take on the profession of his family of being a sailor, but found that he couldn’t stand the little injustices and small crimes he saw across the docks and how they affected every person in the community. He would soon realize that his biggest desire was for everything to be at peace. The smiles of his family and neighbors were the best thing he could hope for.

He studied at Oakville Academy in his late teens and early twenties. This helped him learn much about compromising and the hard decisions that must be made later in his career in the blueguard. Right after this he enlisted in the Blueguard. He was an eager young officer and quickly made a reputation for his zeal as he seemed to never rest on shift breaking the number of apprehended criminals in a single shift. Eventually this would lead to promotions, but also drain his enthusiasm as he began to see that his impact would barely change the community around him.

The city was one of inequality, and often the law enforced this. He wasn't afraid to negotiate with agitators, and with his partner Dean Morton was able to keep quite a few situations from escalating. Of course this wasn’t always the case and incidents specifically in the 5th and 2nd districts often took a turn for the worst. The most famous and deadly of these cases was soon a few years into his commission as police chief in which a radical Cole Callahan who steadily turned a district violently against the order of the city had to be stopped. In the process he lost his long term partner Dean Morton who he put in charge of the operation. The deaths of the officers involved were deeply mourned, and the Commonwealth’s appreciation was little recompense.

His life now is one of careful observation and balancing as he attempts to manage an increasingly worried populace with the bureaucratic demands and constant looming oversight of the Commonwealth. This involves him being mostly stuck behind a desk giving out assignments or filling out paperwork for the noziness of the Commonwealth.

Personality: Karl seems to be a stern persona, one that he openly puts on in public gatherings and with the new recruits of the blueguard, or those who plainly disrespect the uniform. He isn’t afraid to give reprimands, but will also openly give praise to those who respect the duty given to them. When he grows to respect a person this persona fades into a more calm man often complaining about his coffee being too hot, or talking of how his back aches. He likes to encourage up and comers and on his time off is always spending time either fishing or spending time nearby the pizzeria.

Likes/Dislikes: He likes responsibility, balance, fishing, and pizza. He dislikes opportunists, laziness, and those who are willing to take advantage of others' naivety.

    Backstory: Aureliane was born and raised in the First District, though growing up she also spent a lot of time in the Second District, near the mines and at the office. Delgado Steel was founded by her grandfather, Abraxas Delgado, and was the premier steel-mining operation in Steelhollow. When Equinox was discovered, Aloysius (who took over the company when his father died) branched out, and Equinox mining is now their primary source of revenue.

    As Steelhollow's biggest industry magnates, the Delgados have a lot of power, a lot of influence, and a lot of money. It is clearly a family operation, and Aureliane's been being groomed to take over for her father as the next chairman since birth (with the assistance of her brother when he's old enough). This meant an extensive and intensive education is business, finance, politics, engineering, and anything else of relevance to her future career.

    Aureliane worked damn hard in her studies to ensure she would be up to the task of preserving and successfully expanding her family's business when the time came, but then her father died unexpectedly and she was suddenly thrust into a position she wasn't entirely ready for. She's been trying to do her best ever since, negotiating her workers, her investors, and the board, determined to shut them up about her youth and prove them wrong.

what do you mean by cellular manipulation
 
My character is able to control things at a cellular level
This means he has the ability to shape and manipulate the cells of any sort of organism, including the functions of the cells in the organism. They can help to circulate oxygen in the body, make cells heal any sort of wounds, or fight off disease. The limit is that Goose needs to be in a very close proximity of the organism (extremely close range) and to manipulate a cell he needs to know its general location, its functions and how it looks like. He can find the location of specific cells but it requires a lot of time and effort which is why he studied human anatomy. If there is an unknown pathogen (disease causing cell) in an organism he will have to take samples and studied it thoroughly before taking action into eliminating it

If it sounds too complicated or too overpowered I can adjust or change it.
