legends speak of starlight hill, a vast meadow that glimmered in the moonlight due to the moonflowers that bloomed in the summertime. its beauty is deceiving, luring individuals closer on heat filled nights only to fall to their deaths. the kingdom of Han stands on the other side of the hill, protected at all times by highly skilled guards that carry platinum weapons, the achilles heel of these fabled creatures. the legend warns of beasts, fast as lightning and colossal in size. ancient runes tattooed along their bodies, humanoid in form and large masks that hang like cloth to cover their faces. their leader, a young man who has gained the respect of these beings, transforms only on the nights of the full and new moon. his origin remains unknown, but his position as head of these beasts cannot be mistaken. children and adults alike have gone missing in the weeks leading to one of the castle's largest spring celebrations, and the castle has warned any against leaving their homes in the evening.
