Plot Ideas
The New Answer: Adoption
- A couple have been trying to have a baby to start a family, but they come to find out that the female character (She could be the wife, fiance, or girlfriend. It doesn't matter to me) has slim chances of getting pregnant, so the characters decide to adopt a child(ren).
Similar Situation
- A single male character decides to adopt and another single female character decides to adopt. After they adopt the children, they meet one day and start to talk to each other. They find out that both of them are single parents trying to raise an adopted child. As time goes on, they start to get to know each other more and more. Will they fall for each other, will they decide to raise both children together, so the children have both a mom and a dad? Or will they only stay as friends, or maybe even just distance off? Only time will tell.
The Mystery Children
- A couple (could be married, engaged, or just girlfriend/boyfriend) are at home alone one night, when they hear someone randomly knocking on the door. When they open the door, they see a child(ren) on the door step and no one else to be seen. So they did the only thing logical in their minds that they could do, they adopted the child(ren). Will the parents ever come back for them? Will they be a normal family? Will the child(ren) forget or move on from their biological parents?
Uh-Oh..
- A character started messing with a machine that they didn't know was a time traveling machine, but as the scientist went to warn them about it, they somehow manage to send themselves 100 years ahead into the future and now must figure out how to live in this new time era.
The War
- The time era is 100 or 200 years into the future and every one is at war between the countries and the characters have to fight their way through together in order to survive the war.
The Ores
- Both of the characters' family (The characters could or could not be related, it doesn't matter) steal two precious ores. One white and one black. Their worth, value, and purpose is unknown to many, but many however go after the ores either way when they hear the stories. A couple decades/centuries later, the two characters have to protect the ores with their lives as they face many obstacles and opponents in order to protect the two ores from being taken from them.
The Soulmate
- Each being of any race has one mate. This mate is a soulmate who balances out the other. The moment they meet everything changes, for many their mate would be their one and only. They will no longer have eyes for anyone else. For a few, they will reject their mate because of personal reasons (ex.One of the mates were already married, one of the mates was a player, unfaithfulness, unreadyiness, abusive, personal hate, etc.) It is hard for a mate to stay away from their other, and even harder for a mate to have their other mate in danger or to see them together with someone else. So usually, mates are protected and prized from the other mate. It rare for a mate to be rejected. It is frowned upon, but there is one exception. The only thing frown upon even more than rejecting is for a supernatural being to have a human mate. In this instance it is allowed/encourage for the supernatural being to reject their mate. Character A is demigod and character B is a human. When Character A meets his/her mate, will (s)he reject or keep his/her mate? Will (s)he protect his/her mate from the elders to avoid being forced to be split up?
The Alpha Union
- Two packs. Two Alphas. Two Heirs. One female. One male. These two heirs have hated each other since they were pups, but one day, their parents decided to go have a conference together and came to the conclusion that the two heirs should marry each so that their packs could become one and become more powerful. Will they get along? Will the marriage last? Will they fall for each other? It's up to the characters now to decide how this will end.
The Awful Chain Uniting Us
- Werewolves and shifters hated each other for centuries. One day, the witches thought it would be hilarious to chain up a shifter and a werewolf together and set up the trap to see aftereffects unravel. Falling into the trap, the shifter and werewolf must go high and low to see how they take off this magical chain on their legs. Along the way they end up falling in love.
The Forbidden Parents
- Both characters are married and the wife is pregnant with the other character's child. The issue is: one is a vampire and the other is a werewolf. Relationships between werewolves and vampires are forbidden, so they have to find a way to protect the mother and child and to avoid being killed by the elders.
Oh dear..
- One character is an assassin and another one is a healer. The assassin was on his/her way through a mission to kill his/her assignment for the day. When (s)he reaches the setting of where his/her assigned victim is, (s)he finds his/her mate. Mates were rare to find at the time so, the assassin did the only thing (s)he could think of... Kill his/her victim, kidnapped his/her mate to keep with him/her for good, and keep going with on with the day.
The Twins
- There is a pair of twins who are raised to be warriors and they are sent to go explore an unknown land where they have to build their own shelter and find their own food/water as well as other necessities. Along the way they will have to fight opponents and learn to live in peace with the other inhabitants of the land.
Triple the love
- Muse A and Muse B are in a committed relationship and very much in love. Almost a year ago, they decided that it was the right time to try and expand their family. Unfortunately, Muse A and Muse B have not been able to conceive. Before they explore adoption as an option, they decide to see a fertility specialist. After some testing and a lot of worrying, it turns out that the couple could possibly get pregnant with the help of fertility drugs. Muse A begins to take the prescribed medications, and the two continue to try having a baby.
- On a follow-up visit to the doctor, routine blood work reveals that Muse A is now pregnant. The couple is thrilled! Even though it’s early, they immerse themselves in preparing for the baby’s arrival. When it comes time for Muse A to have their first sonogram. Muse B is of course as their side and so excited to catch a glimpse of their baby, their eyes glued to the monitor. The sonogram tech takes a deep breath before relaying what they’ve uncovered. Muse A and Muse B are about to become the proud parents of triplets.
Bodyguard.com
- Muse A is famous and has been receiving threatening letters/messages online as of late. Muse B is a popular club bouncer, who gets a chance at the big leagues when they get a call from one of Muse A’s representatives to be Muse A’s personal bodyguard. Upon first meeting, there is a distinct physical attraction between Muse A and Muse B, but professional boundaries are set clearly within a contract. In the first few weeks of Muse B’s employment, they shadow Muse A every where possible and despite being there at Muse A’s request, Muse A begins to feel suffocated. They can’t have a personal life if Muse B is constantly with them, lurking over their shoulder or in the next room. The only way that Muse A can think of to get around this issue is to set up an online dating profile under a pseudonym, of course, so that they might meet someone without Muse B and the rest of the world interfering.Muse B also has trouble in their personal life, never having free time to date because they’re watching Muse A 24/7. Muse B sets up an online profile as well, unbeknownst to Muse A. Muse A and Muse B find each other online through their compatible interests and begin to chat, not knowing that they’re talking to each other in real life.
Shift
- While driving home on a quiet backstreet, Muse A spots a wounded animal on the side of the road. Having a soft spot for suffering creatures, Muse A pulls over and scoops the animal up into the backseat of their car. Muse A drives home with the good intention of nursing the poor animal back to health, unaware that the animal (Muse B) is really a shapeshifter. After making a comfortable place for Muse B to sleep, Muse A heads off to bed. By morning, Muse B is feeling a bit better and they shift back into their human form just as Muse A enters the room to check up on them. Muse B tries their best to explain what’s going on without terrifying Muse A. According to shapeshifter law, Muse B now owes Muse A their loyalty and must stay with them until the debt is repaid.
Broken in
- Muse A’s house/apartment has been broken into and ransacked. Feeling unsafe, Muse A asks Muse B to let them stay at their place until the police have apprehended the person responsible.Will deeper friendship or romance blossom between Muse A and Muse B during the length of the stay?Or will the experience be a disaster that reveals all the dirty little habits and quirks Muse A and Muse B have kept from one another?
Rain, Rain, Go Away
- Muse A is sipping tea by the window, watching the rain come down from the comfort of his/her warm, dry home. He/She peers out toward the quiet street just as Muse B rides his/her bike by the house and runs into a huge pothole. It’s a funny sight to behold, the poor soul drenched in muddy water, the front wheel of his/her bike slightly mangled, but ultimately Muse A feels badly for the soaked stranger and decides to intervene. Muse A pulls on a jacket and hurries outside to offer help. It isn’t until Muse B looks up in Muse A’s direction that the two realize they’ve met before..
Tour Bus (NEW RP!)
- After several months of waiting for tour dates to be announced, Muse A has scored tickets to see their favorite musician in concert. Despite the concert being two states away, Muse A is determined not to miss it. Muse A and a friend drive for 2 days to make it to the venue on time. During the opening act, Muse A goes in search of Muse B’s tour bus in the venue parking lot. Their friend keeps watch as Muse A sneaks onto the unattended bus. Muse A quickly looks around for a souvenir to take back home with them. A guitar pick, an article of clothing Muse B always wears, anything. Security comes around and Muse A’s friend runs off, leaving Muse A stranded on the bus. The concert gets called off before the headliner can take the stage because the fans inside are getting too rowdy, so Muse B heads for the tour bus through a private exit. Muse B gets onto the bus and in a panic Muse A hides in one of the bunks. The bus drives off with Muse A on it… What will happen when Muse B discovers Muse A hiding out on their tour bus?
