Silver Wolf
Something Random
So....I'm gonna post two high-contrast RPs here. Today's focus is Light vs Dark nature stories, predetermined setting or group effort. For that I give you these RPs and a poll.
A few constants are gonna exist here:
High-contrast and vastly different societies such as Fantasy, European/Western, Eastern/Japanese, and whatever people may come up with at times depending on the RP.
Magic System: A detailed magic system will be made and has been made.
Races: Because fantasy races can get out of hand, I typically have a set amount to try and cover everyone's needs. We'll do this after we decide on an RP though.
At any rate, I will tag you when one is posted. And DO NOT reply if you cannot join...I mean it. I am also accepting around.....close to ten people, but because people do drop out and ghost, I may allow more to slip through the cracks.

The land of Gaia has held a rich history. Ruins and artifacts dot the land. Powerful and mythical, sometimes even legendary are these places. In recent years, the kingdoms that govern the land have had a boom in prosperity. As suspicions and walls were torn down in the name of peace, guilds and associations of all kinds have formed. The gilded age was here. Humans and elves were finally getting along, and the beastinari have come out of the wild.
With guilds forming, a newer industry was booming: the treasure hunting industry. Mercenaries were turning adventurers, and to many it was great. Scholars were paying money to recover ancient history, and nobles were catching on.
Fifty years ago, the first adventurer’s guild was founded. Helping to centralize the contracts, they boomed. Other guilds became associated with them. Guilds of scholars and mages were associated with the group.
The fame brought people from the exotic and alien east, the wild jungles and forests of the south, and even the unknown of the north.
Adventuring is dangerous work though, beasts and strange things lie in the ruins. There’ a reason mercenaries were the ones to start this.

This RP is a light-hearted adventure. Essentially many groups will be flowing across the world.
This one is more focused on a high-fantasy type with a light-hearted feel. You can have up to three characters.
You don’t even have to be a guild member really. The Adventurer’s guild only gives out contracts either from itself or outside. Really it’s just a glorified contracting enter to help protect the profession of mercenaries. It takes those kinds of contracts as well.
This way, one can be of another guild, tagging along, or just be a random passerby in joining. Now I won’t be accepting more than ten people into this RP likely. I may have a grace period due to the fact that people will drop and ghost out, so I’m leaving it at that.
The whole focus will be about building bonds with the characters, which has the potential to focus romance a lot. Now, it can have dark moments, but the overall feel should be a light-hearted fantasy adventure.
Tales had been spreading for a long time. People from across the entire land were disappearing. Typically they were people of villages, tribes, or noble houses. It was first brought to attention when the young princess of Sylen went missing. Sylen being one of the larger and more powerful kingdoms, it drew attention fast.
It was months before the news spread once more in the form of rumors. Many things were swirling about, sowing disarray in the hearts of all. Celestial Elves are militarizing at an alarming rate once the disappearances began. The dragons to the other side of the northeastern mountain range have gone quiet, and the disappearances were continuing.
It wasn’t until Gavon, a former empire with a dark past announced the return of their king. The world froze at this news. Kingdom upon kingdom began to strengthen their defenses. It only meant one thing, Krevos had returned. Going by many names, such as the Dark Lord, The Blood King, The Lord of Change, and The Demon Lord he was the descendant of a god who rules over demons. He had sent many crusades against all who were notorious for the discrimination and elimination of those with the blood of demons or gods in them.
His reign had lasted for over two hundred years, and he had achieved a form of lesser immortality by imbuing one of Sylen’s gifts, the body stone, into his being. Preventing him from aging as the relic keeps the user in prime condition to the point of preventing aging, tiring, and famine. His rule saw enslavement of the non-gifted, the death of kingdoms and empires, but there are people who support him even today.
However, what came next astonished everyone. He announced something about his kingdom. He announced that he would save and protect those who hold the blood of the divine. Demons, gods, angels, spirits, and any divine being’s descendant would be welcome to his kingdom and be treated with the respect they deserved.
Many countries, not forgetting the violent legacy of Krevos began by preparing for the first strike, but it wasn’t coming. Across the map, people flocked to him and he took them. Something was wrong. As everyone grew more and more impatient, kingdoms began to declare war on Gavon and began to regulate their citizens who did have divine heritage. This began to lead to discrimination once again as fear and mass hysteria broke out against these people.
Sylen tried it’s best to remain neutral. Fearing for their sovereign and many citizens who it managed to successfully protect during the Twilight Era, when the discrimination began and Sylen itself formed from The God of the Sun’s blood becoming part of the royal family’s.
That was until Gavon was revealed to have taken Princess Dafie of Sylen. The king of Sylen declared war on Gavon immediately in the hopes of rescuing his sister from being hostage.
To the people, the world as they knew it was divided. War was there, and Gavon was now becoming aggressive for self preservation. This time, the world claimed it would not make the same mistake. They would obliterate Gavon, Krevos, and his allies. There were many kingdoms that sided with Krevos.
Now, with war on the horizon, the bustling port of Kilac, a hub for worldwide trade, is coming to be the first site of a historical battle that will see the spark of a new war that will come to be known as the Divining War.

You need at least two characters, four maximum. One hero and one villain. Technically they are both protagonists, but...one is destined to lose. The experiment is to create definite villains and heroes and bonding personally to both of them, then more or less having to fight between the two groups.
The villains and heroes are interchangeable. A hero can become a villain and die a villain, and a villain can become a hero and die a hero. However, this is why I am having a four character limit. You must have equal characters per side.
Also, it is HIGHLY encouraged to seed doubt and drama as this will drive people to the other side later. Now...I hope you find this interesting.
At any rate, I will tag you when one is posted. And DO NOT reply if you cannot join...I mean it. I am also accepting around.....close to ten people, but because people do drop out and ghost, I may allow more to slip through the cracks.
