In 2041, the first rift opened over Berlin Germany. The city was quarantined and scientist from around the globe were called in to study the strange phenomena.
3 Days later, a nuclear war head destroyed the city and surrounding area.
1 month later another rift opened. This one was not contained in time and the country of Japan was overrun in a week. The next over Italy. Then Russia. South Africa. Until the entire world was overrun with beasts. Monsters from hell of all shapes and sizes. 75 percent of human kind was dead in a matter of 3 months. That was 200 years ago
No one is alive now who remembers the old world, but we have stories. Artifacts. Symbols that no longer have meaning to anyone. After the most recent wave of monsters, most governments fell and borders were absolved. Across the globe, the remainder of humanity secluded themselves to die in peace. Except for one small sliver of hope.
Founded by a architect from the old times, the first city of the new world was formed in the trees, called LeWaTon. A sanctuary towering high above the ground, out of the monsters reach, a place where man kind can be safe.
But as time goes on, more monsters emerge. Stronger, faster, smarter. Soon, even LeWaTon will fall and humankind will become extinct. But we still have hope. Brave men and women train every day for the monster prevention task force. And rumor has it the lead scientist are about to lead a mission. The final mission we’ll ever need.
