Premise

This idea is halfway between 'The Hunger Games' and 'Naked and Afraid'. Dark themes such as death, starvation, disease and possible cannibalism are to be expected.
In Linvale, a nation where pollution is at an all time high, the average life expectancy is way down and most people are self-sufficient before the age of 13, the elite are looking to lower the population and regain environmental stability. In order to entice the lower class citizens to put themselves in mortal peril, a televised competition was put into place.
[
Contestants are chosen randomly from eligible citizens (only the sick and disabled are excluded), put into teams of four, and transported to an artifical forest filled with hidden cameras. You will be alone when you arrive, and it is up to you to find your teammates... an avoid your opponents.
The goal is to be the team with the most living members by the end of the four-week run. All contestants are supplied with a uniform and colored armband that signifies their team. Weapons, food and supplies will be hidden throughout the woods.
Now, unlike the Hunger Games, murder is not allowed. Those who intentionally kill another contestant will be 'eliminated'. That said, you are allowed to injure, steal from or otherwise indirectly 'cause' the deaths of your opponents.
The remains of those who lose the game will be left to be looted --or consumed-- by remaining contestants. Aside from murder, anything is allowed. Betrayal, sabotage, hoarding of resources, you name it.
Be prepared.

World Background
The year is 2150. The near future, if you will.
Many nations have collapsed as war and exonomic strife ravage the land, but new nations have succeeded them. Linvale is one of these. Located near where Germany once stood, Linvale is made up of a glistening urban capital and several impoverished states. Most everyone speaks English or some variant of it.
As far as technology goes, it is much more advanced than today's gadgets, but really only the upper class have access to it. Medicine, science and business have reached new heights, but it comes at a cost. Linvale is smothered by pollution, most water is undrinkable, and the vast majority of its people live without healthcare or education. These are the people that the game is built to get rid of.

Rules of the Game
20 contestants are selected randomly, and transported to the Initiation Station in the capital city.
●Selected participants are given full medical and psychological examinations to determine eligibility. If a participant is disqualified at this stage, they will be sent home and a replacement will be selected.
● After a brief orientation, contestants are assigned into 5 teams of 4: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow or Purple. The teams are not allowed to interact or get to know each other just yet, but they are given a file of basic information about their teammates (headshot, name, age, height, weight, IQ) so that they can more easily identify them in the game.
● Contestants are given a mandatory televised interview, are given a place to sleep for the night, and the real show begins at noon the next day.
•Contestants are provided a uniform of a white shirt, grey jacket and pants, white sock and black boots. Male and female uniforms are identical. This, and their colored team armband, are all they're allowed to bring with them into the gane.
● Contestants are individually transported to the playing fields, a 30 mile expanse of artificisl woods filled with hidden cameras. From here, their job is to find their teammates, find food, make shelter and try to outlive the rest! If things start getting 'boring', the gamemakers might... spice things up a little.
●Any contestant who kills another player directly will be sniped.
● Dead contestants will not be retrieved. Living contestants may do what they will with the fallen.
●The game will last four weeks. At the end of those four weeks, the team with the most living members takes home the prize: A place in the capital city and enough wealth to last you a lifetime. Any remaining members of losing teams will be awarded 5,000 marks (local currency) and sent home.

Rules for You
● Characters must be no younger than 12 and no older than 20.
● Each person is allowed 2 characters of any gender they like. No need to be 100% equal. If both of your characters die, you may take the place of an NPC player (if there are any), until there are none left.
● If you quit, your character will become an NPC and will either be taken over by another player or killed off.
● You will not be allowed to bring personal belongings with you into the woods. Only the provided uniform and armband will be with you when you arrive.
● The disabled and mentally ill are spared from competing. Thus, your character must be at least visibly healthy.
● There is no strict combat system, but try to refrain from being completely OP.
●Have fun, and don't be afraid to suggest ideas!
