  I'm lancastrians, or Maria. I'm eighteen and up until recently I was a university student, but I had to drop out for the same reasons I disappeared from this site. I've been roleplaying for about five years. I also write and read and play video games a lot in my spare time. I'd consider myself friendly and polite, if a little passive, but I'm eager to make friends on here.

  ➤ I've been roleplaying for about five years. I roleplay and write on a regular basis. I can do casual to detailed, leaning more towards detailed. I'm not too fussed about how much my partners write. It sounds cliché, but I believe in quality over quantity. Just give me your best and I'll do the same for you.
  
  
  ➤ I won't ask for writing samples, but please do not respond if you know you aren't capable of writing more than a few sentences per post. Or if you write in script form. Or if you know your grammar/spelling isn't great. Please be somewhat literate (exceptions can be made for non-native speakers). Everyone makes mistakes, but I need to be able to understand what my partner is saying.
  
  
  ➤ I have been told that my writing comes off as a little flowery. If this bothers you and you prefer your partner to just get to the point, I'm probably not the right partner for you. I'm happy to take constructive criticism on my writing though.
  
  
  ➤ I am partial to playing females, but I will definitely play other genders. I'm also happy to double up, if my partner prefers it, or play multiple characters each.
  
  
  ➤ I'm not a huge romance fan, but I will RP it. More like I'm indifferent to it. If it happens and it's natural, then great! Feel free to suggest alternative relationships for our characters e.g. best friends or siblings. On a similar note, I don't substitute pairings for plot. To me, Rich x Poor or Villain x Hero is not a plot. They're character roles. A detailed roleplay needs a plot or some indication of where the thread is going. That's my opinion.
  
  
  ➤ I don't have any triggers. Maybe I'm a bit eh when it comes to excessive violence and I won't RP anything against site rules so please don't ask me to. Let me know if you have any triggers so I can avoid them when roleplaying with you.
  
  
  ➤ I'd rather roleplay in threads, but if you want to RP in PM that's okay too. I just ask that we have one for OOC discussion and one for IC posting.
  
  
  ➤ I like to talk to my partners OOC about where the thread is headed. Hopefully this doesn't make you uncomfortable. Please also be polite and I'll do the same.
  
  
  ➤ Please please please be patient with me! As well as roleplaying elsewhere, I also work part-time, do a lot of reading and write my own stuff. I'm also prone to very low moods and may not feel up to posting on some days.
  
  
  ➤ I don't mind how often you post. I don't mind if you drop without warning either - it'd be nice if you did tell me, but I know how nerve-wracking it can be to message someone like that. To be clear, I don't mind if you drop our thread. Sometimes plots don't work out, our writing/characters don't mesh etc. We can always do something else... or we can never roleplay again. It's fine. I won't hate you.

I too believe in quality over quantity, and though I find that my shortest replies oft involve dialogue with another character, I usually keep to a 5+ line rule. If you're equally as interested as I, I'd love to do something involving either Misfits, Skyrim or any kind of original plot.

I'd love to try something in the vein of Urban Fantasy or Historical if you're still looking. I also sold the majority of the past three years to playing Skyrim, so I would love to try that. Especially since my Xbox broke and I haven't played in ages.

In seriousness, though, anything during or after the war would be really awesome for me. If we're on opposite sides, then perhaps some situation where the two have to work together to get out of a situation (like maybe both searching for an artifact or other information in a cave or something, then getting trapped) or interaction after the war was over. Not to say that it couldn't be during the war itself, just it might be a bit tricky to create events leading to that.
