Kingsgrove Academy (Mature, Realistic Roleplay) [WIP]

Bryan Greenwells

Bry turned his head back towards Alexandre, "One. Yeah. Two. Bad boys are hot. And three. Thanks but as if he'd ever be interested in me. He's probably off screwing every other girl he meets."

Helena waited outside for Kristi, preparing a glass of water and other things. She waited for quite a while which she took it as an indicator to the amount of trouble. She knew how it was, she spend her own time like that as well. When Kristen finally came out, Helena waited a bit before following making sure she want going anywhere before following her to the table and placed the glass of water in front of Kristi. "Here you will need it."She said softly with a small kind smike, taking a seat opposite her." Don't worry I am not going to ask... I get it, juse here tI keep the company... So you shot guns, what else to you like?"

"You asked me about myself a bit earlier, which I cleverly avoided. So, what do you want to know?" Monroe tried to think of a few questions to ask Chester. She bit her lip thinking, then she says.

in" Why are you enrolled at Kingsgrove." She wanted to know more of the heavy deep stuff but she didn't think that would be fair, so she made up a little game.

" I got a little game. We both want to know more about each other right? So, I'll ask you three questions, about anything I want to know. Then you ask me anything you want to know. I already asked one question so i'll ask 2 more. What's your sexuality? Are you a virgin? "

Interacts @Starkz

While seated at the table, she looked up and saw Helena come and hang her a glass of water.

"Thanks," she said almost silently.

Helena thankfully didn't try to find out what was wrong. Kristi appreciated that. She couldn't go into details of what was going on with anyone. Not yet, anyway, if ever.

"Back at home, I did a lot," started Kristi in reply to Helena's question. "I live on a farm, a large farm that has been in my family since my grandparents built it. On the farm, I normally just help out. I guess you could say that's something I'm into. Other than that, I ride horses. I have been for a long time. Horses are beautiful animals. You can even get a great connection with them over time. They grow attached to you."

Kristi forced out what she could to try and get her mind off of things. She took a sip of water, and then put the cup back down.

"Where I come from probably sounds alien to you. I grew up on a large farm in Texas and just grew into that lifestyle. Cities aren't something I'm used to, or like. This-Kingsgrove-is definitely not what I'm used to. You can almost say I'm a fish out of water here. Anyway, enough about me. You said you were here before I was, right? How long? Is there anything you should tell me about the school that I should know?"

Kristi tried to hide her unease. She tried talking, yet it all came out in a low tone. A almost shaky one. She couldn't cover it up if she wanted to.

I kept the small talk going. Good. And I diverted the question from about me to her. Good. Even though I sound like I'm relatively okay, I am not. I am acting and faking as much as I can to make it like I'm better. But they're not stupid. Helena knows better, I can tell. Hm, and I also wonder where Alex went. I wonder if I freaked him out or scared him off. I probably seem weird to him and Helena.

@ThatGuyWithSouvlaki

"Sound idealic, I admit the hard work of a farm and animal raising is distant to me but I like nature. Been out at the french country side and always enjoyed the calm and cool. Something about countryside air you don't get in the city." She said trying to remain in and encourage the conversation, genuinely fascinated by KristI. "And don't worry about the city it was a culture shock coming from France but you get used to it even like it. But yeah I came two years ago under orders from my parents first due to money now under scholarship. Only spoken French and Greek. Look at me now."

Alexandre smirked over the rim of his glass at that. "Maybe he is, and maybe he wouldn't be interested, but you'll never know if you don't try." Alexandre had tried to live his life by that idea since he was young. One must not be afraid to take risks in the pursuit of something one wants. He tipped back the rest of his drink and gave Bryan's shoulder a friendly squeeze. "As I said, best of luck." With that, he left the food table and went back out into the crowd to mingle.

"You have come a long way with English. Couldn't even tell you never spoke it two years ago," she said, forcing a fake smile once again.

She took out her phone and checked it.

No new messages. Good. Maybe I won't be harassed tonight again. But then again, I never get pelted with them.

"I have never been to France. Though I imagine the countryside is beautiful. Over in the states, there is nothing more beautiful then being in nature. I'm just so used to it. raised animals, hunt, stuff like that. Nature was always around me."

She took a deep breath in.

"So, this school, anything weird ever go on? I must admit I don't known awfully to much about it. Should I know about groups or anything? Who to avoid, who is nice, etc.?"

Maybe I can find out this way about who I should really stay away from. If I need a friendly face, I can avoid the wrong one.

@ThatGuyWithSouvlaki

She smirked as she leaned foward on the table like telling her a secret. "There is always something going on, the headmistress doesn't have the things handled like she thinks she does. Girls go to the boys dorm and the other way around some well... Don't need to go anywhere if you know what I mean. Trips out of the school to the city at night also happens. It is almost expected.., But the thing is you have to be careful whom knows. Some people here would jump in the chance to turn you in to get their way especially if you have something they want or think it's theirs..."

Bryan Greenwells

Bry thought about what Alexandre said. He wasn't wrong. Aiden could indeed like him back. He just needed to speak with him face to face and that was what he was gonna do. He walked into the crowd of people and towards Aiden. "Hey Aiden. I didn't get to talk to you properly earlier and I thought that I should fix that." He smiled a genuine smile and crossed his fingers behind his back. @MikkiAli

Aiden - Ball Room - M: Sneaky

Hearing the comment Justin made caused him to twitch a bit. Instead of responding to it, he crossed his arms smirking.

"That's for me to know and you to find out, sugar. Just know that Weisnburg should be done setting it up." Aiden turns to the other senior. "Oh and...you might wanna get away from the center of the ballroom...but that's just me."

Suddenly, he turned around to see Bryan approach him being friendly. Oh, this was sudden.

"Oh hey. That's cool, there's a bunch of spazzes here so I don't blame you." Looking towards the ceiling, he noticed the signal one of his lackies send him then he smirked a bit. Putting his arm around Bryan, he pulls him away from the middle. "Come on, I gotta tell you something."

@JujuBee @MuffinRPs

Bryan Greenwells

Bry blushed heavily when Aiden touched his arm. On the outside he looked normal but on the inside he was freaking out. Basically, OMFGBAEISTOUCHINGMEOMLASDFGHJKL. He pulled him away from the middle, "So... what did you want to tell me?"

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_04/embed.php-16.png.f9cac014f866395bc87fa969ba029215.png" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="120250" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_04/embed.php-16.png.f9cac014f866395bc87fa969ba029215.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Justin raised an eyebrow at the answer that was given and looked around him. He certainly was in the middle of the room and if Justin took anything seriously, it was certainly something like this. He nodded but heard the same annoying voice from before. He glanced over at Bry and frowned, scrunching his nose up at him. Why was he even back over here? Justin didn’t feel like being bothered with him either. But it looked as though he wasn’t here for another round of trying to prove something he wasn’t so Justin didn’t bother intercepting.

“And the sight of him is my cue to leave.” He said, rolling his eyes.

With that, Justin turned around and made his way over to the doors that would be leading him outside. He noticed a few people whispering, their eyes in his direction but he couldn’t care to provoke an argument with them now. He wanted to smoke because the itch was coming back and he couldn’t do it right now. Not right now. He would wait until he was in the safety of his dorm room and right now that couldn’t be done. So the calm that he’d receive with the rolled up weed would have to be sufficient enough.

“Where do you think you’re going Mr. Mackins?” He turned his head, seeing one of the teachers in the school and frowned.
“Away from here. Is there a problem Bill?”

“It is Mr. Johnson, Justin. You must stay in with the other classmates. This is not such an optional thing- Mr. Mackins!”

The teacher would simply be greeted by the shutting of a door instead as Justin made his way down the corridor of the school, already pulling the blunt out and letting it be caressed by his fingers. He grinned at the sight of it, excited to get some alone time and lose himself in his thoughts.

Being late to something is a sign that you will be a horrible adult. Yet it didn't seem to bother Cecilia. White Highheels coming to a halt as she stepped inside the ballroom. She looked around the room at all of the new students as they interacted with one another.

'Looks like I hadn't missed much.'

Parties weren't really her thing. But most of these kids looked like they would be pretty nice.

She immediately walked over to the table that had most of the food.

'This is a ballroom, I hope we won't be dancing. I am not in the mood for that...Maybe I can sneak out and go sleep somewhere.' After grabbing a drink she soon made her way back out and down the hall.

'Hey, is that...Jaaa-ustin! Yes, Justin.'

She nonchalantly walked over to him.

"Fancy meeting you here, Justin."

Aiden - Ball Room - M: Fired Up!

Looking down at Bryan, he noticed that he looked a little confused on what's going on. He'll see why in a second. Once of the vice principals were strolling in the middle of the ball room floor, making sure that the children were in order.

Ms. Higgins. One of the instructors that made sure Aiden wouldn't get out of control and ruin the ball. Sadly, she was about to get taught a long and hard lesson about sending him to detention over explosives in a water fountain. Of course, she was always in his way. That means that the butterfly affect was in order.

A bag of snakes was released from the chandelier and fell on top of Ms. Higgins. With the bag feel a huge bucket of water causing the snakes to slither around. Looking mortified, she screamed to the top of her lungs causing everyone to turn around and scream as well. The tattooed male smirked chuckling softly then looked over at her. The angry elder's eyes met his and she began to shake in anger.

"AIDEN DORIAN!"

@JujuBee @MuffinRPs

A school full of either really nice people or rich, backstabbing snobs. Splendiferous... Just when I was already paranoid with people here and being watched.... Terrific!

"Huh...," Kristi said, averting her eyes from Helena and thinking to herself.

And just when I thought I wouldn't be a misfit, I already am learning so. I was never a rule breaker. Hell, I never got a detention in my life. What do I say? Oh, Kristi, don't say it. Don't you fucking say it...

"Sounds like fun," she said back to her finally.

You fucking idiot. You know you wouldn't do that. Say something back that's not really insinuating you would!

"Well, I've got enough issues on my plate to worry about. And back in the states, I've got a reputation from my competitive shooting career. I can't risk ruining it. And like I said, I have enough going on. I'll have to pass on those, even though I wasn't invited."

Kristi never had intentions of doing that. But it seems she'll be put on the spot one day. She can't do it. With the whole ordeal about being watched by the assholes who are associated with the ex, and her reputation, there was too much at stake.

"I'm not trying to sound like a wimp or anything. Just... Can't. I'm sorry," she said to Helena, hoping she wouldn't look at her funny for what she was telling her people would do and she wouldn't.

"Can you really trust anyone here," she asked Helena out of curiosity.

Really? You're asking someone you don't trust, or at least not yet, if there is anyone you can trust? Don't you see the irony in that? I thought you were smart.

Marco entered the ballroom checking his watch. He was late, hardly his fault thanks to his flight being delayed. Marco buttoned up his suit jacket then proceeded to scan the room. He worked like a system,a machine almost. Several groups of people talking, commotion here,a bustle there his mind cataloging all of this. After a few seconds he made his way to the beverage table and grabbed a glass of water.

He wasn't used to set ups like these, most of the academies he was a student off resembled a Military base. A mess hall, shooting range ,obstacle course and bunks. Nothing fancy, all that was reserved for graduates and he never did. Marco clinched his fist inside his pocket as he drank from the glass.

This was a new strange land,he's never traveled to the US let alone attend a school. He was however able to speak the language, with an accent of course. First thing they tought at the Academy. The international language they called it. Marco smiled as he remembered his friends and his days at the Academy. The glass touched his lips once again.

So this is Kingsgrove, I can see it carried it's reputation well. Hopefully it can do me justice and help with my promise.

Marco thought as he walked around the outskirts of the numerous groups beginning to form on the floor.

Joel walked into the ball room, typing something on his phone as he went. He eventually stopped and looked around, correcting his hair a little. He sighed, already bored with it. He was late, but that didn't bother him, he was always late to everything. He didn't like this whole dressing up thing either, it just wasn't his thing. He wasn't a rich or posh person really, he was only here due to his music. He groaned at the thought of talking to others. He wasn't good at it at all. He hesitantly made his way to his seat, sitting down nervously. He just hoped nobody noticed his presence.

"You dont have to. You can be a good girl if that is what you wish, a few of us are. However it sometimes the only way yo have fun." She replied shrugging more and more liking this girl as she spoke to her. When Kristi mentioned if she could be trusted she chuckled giving her a sly smile." I cant give you the answer, what else can i say but yes either way and refer to myself and alex. In the end it is up to you, though i know what i would like you to and hopefully i have shown that. In any case i would say if not me too than trust Alex. He is a good guy even if he is a shameless flirt like myself."

Axel Maverick Clifford ~ Ball Room ~ Late...

Axel was arriving late to the ball and didn't seem to mind. On top of that he wasn't dressed in the most formal of attire. The fact is that he wasn't in the mood to be formally dressed. Plus, the one thing he hates more than anything is being told how to dress. Axel decided to make do and try to make the best of his situation. He wore a white button up, jeans, brown boot to match his brown belt and sunglasses. Axel sighed and hoped this place wasn't as boring as his parent made it sound. If he had his way he would be in a public school, but sadly he didn't have a choice in the matter.

He enters the ballroom and took a quick look around the area. He wasn't that impressed with his school and its students. Either way this Ball seems to be so boring, that he was glad he arrived late. Anyway, he figured he should at least try to mingle a little and see what these kids are into.

He notices some bloke walk on the outskirts of the vast number of students. He couldn't help but be intrigued by the guy who was avoiding being a part of the group. Axel puts on his best friends face and approaches the guy. He figures he would test how uptight this guy is. "Hey dude. The name is Axel Maverick Clifford and I couldn't help but notice how distant you are for everyone else. So, i couldn't help but fed my curiosity and find out who you are?" he has a Cheshire smirk on his face as he talks.

Marco smiled at the stranger. It was pleasant to be approached, Marco has no problem speaking with people he just rather wait until it's more personal. If someone approached him such as this young man, it was a blessing.

Marco held his glass in his left hand and stretched his right hand out to offer a friendly shake.

"Hey man, Nice to meet you. Name is Marco Calminelli. Just arrived here for my first and final year and this school." Marco paused as he tried to figure a way to explain why he was distant. "This my first time in the US actually, let alone attend a school here. So I kinda just hung back a bit and scoped the place out."

Marco smiled as he took the last sip from his water, placing the empty glass in a nearby table. As his hand came back he unbuttoned his blazer placing his hands in his pockets.

"First time here also or returning?" Asked Marco as he pulls his hand out just to motion a one with his hand then back down into his pockets. It was a nasty but true stereotype. Being Italian and speaking with his hands was a curse as much as it was a blessing.

Axel Maverick Clifford ~ Ball Room ~ Late...

Axel nodded to himself and took note of the guys friendly demeanor. Yet, he seemed to be a kind surprise or maybe relieve Axel made the first move. He shrugged his shoulder and rid himself of those thoughts.

He tested the name in his mouth " Marco Calminelli. Congratulation on being very Italian." he laughed at his own little joke. The fact that the guy said this was the first he was in the USA made Axel excited. "Well, welcome to the northern part of the Americas minus Candan of course." It was natural to want to scope out a new place, but for Axel his approach is to dive right into the deep end so he couldn't relate.

He pushed his hand into his hair to make sure it kept that out of bed look. "This is my first year here, but I'm a sophomore. This isn't exactly my first choice when it comes to school." he said with his natural cool and laid-back demeanor. Axel for the most part thought this kid was cool plus he wasn't bad on the eye. Either way he approves him as a potential friend and ally

Bryan Greenwells

Bry's eyes widened at what Aiden had done. Ms. Higgins was so mad. He looked up at him and spoke, trying to show little concern for her, "Aiden, did you do that?"

Marco laughed along with Axel at his joke. He found it slightly humorous but he was always taught to be courteous. Axel seemed confident, the cliche version of what people think rich American children are. This was no huge difference to Marco. He was nice and this was enough for him.

Marco smiled and nodded as he accepted Axel's informal welcome to America. He did however raise an eyebrow at his comment on this not being the first choice. Marco being from another country assumed this was one of the best options if not THEM best option.

"If you don't mind me asking Axe,if I can call you that. I'm just getting rid of a letter but it sounds cooler." Marco chuckled at his change in name. "What is it about this place that you don't like? Or what's would you have chosen. " Marco asked as he proceeded to wave his left hand at a nearby table and chairs with only one occupant. Signaling for Axel to join him in a seat. Marco sat down and ever so slightly waved in a shyly manner to the other occupant of the table.

He waved in that manner not because he was shy but because he was currently engaging someone else in conversation and saying hi in any other way would be rude. Not to mention he had to acknowledge the other person sitting at said table since Marco realized he failed to aquire if the seats were taken.

@loyalwolf @JoelHPIS

"Huh," Kristi simply replied.

She glanced out towards the food to see if she could see Alex. He wasn't there. She then turned her eyes to the cup. There was a little water left. Thankfully, she wasn't too thirsty. Helena being there and talking to her did help get her mind off of the text she got somewhat. Of course, she could never really get her mind off of it. But it was a slight distraction, one she desperately needed at the moment. The country girl didn't have much else to say at this point. She took our her phone and checked her Ask account to see if she got any nasty questions like she normally did. To her surprise, there was nothing. Not a single thing has been asked on it.

Well this is nice. Right? No one is paying attention to me on there. Eh, that's meh. But no mean questions from some anonymous assholes. So that's a plus. I suppose I'm happy, then?

Kristi noticed that she had been able to calm down more. That was a much welcomed feeling. Why she was still paranoid, the fact she could calm down really did help her not freak out.

"Either way, I'm happy to get to class here. Seems like a fun atmosphere," Kristi replied to Helena, breaking an awkward silence.

Alexandre was catching up with an old friend from Spain when he heard a woman scream. He turned around to see Ms. Higgins drenched with water and covered in snakes...fucking snakes! It was obviously one of Aiden's pranks, but this was too far. Alexandre wasn't the type of person to take issue with scholarship students who didn't dress in suits or anything like that, but this was Kingsgrove for God's sake, there is supposed to be some level of decorum. "Pardon me," he said as he left his friend, clearly annoyed by what had happened.

At first he wanted to confront Aiden, but that would hardly have accomplished anything. Instead, he walked across the ballroom to where he saw Kristi and Helena sitting. He sat down with a huff, running a hand through his hair and taking a deep breath. "Hello." He was too angry thinking about the 'prank' to say much more.
