Kingsgrove Academy (Mature, Realistic Roleplay) [WIP]

"You are half right, Kristi, I am Helena and this is Alexandre, we are... How you say, the oldies. We are getting to know the newbies."Helena replied impressed by the selection of new girls this year, making her almost glad to be lesban for once. She chuckled hearing kristi's accent. "Heh, you sound like cowgirl, it is very cute."

She then waved and walked off, well not walking off..more like exploring. It was a huge area. With lots of other students. She ran he hand along the wall as she looked up at the ceiling the turned the corner, ealkin into a room area. Not a living space. More like storage. She rummaged through some stuff and found a dress. She gasped and shut the door locking it and quickly changed, loving every bit of it. She came back out , holding her wet clothes in her hand, dress replacing them. "C’est n’importe quoi!" Alex replied with a laugh, effortlessly slipping into French. "You know I would never do such a thing, I simply wished to offer my help to the poor lady." He was about to continue when another girl, dressed in a charming black cocktail dress, approached the group and introduced herself. "Hello Kristi, as Kelena said, I'm Alexandre, welcome to Kingsgrove, I'm sure you'll love it here."

Would you look at this. So many of the new faces, already making friends. Some with those that were new themselves, others with the ones Justin had seen walking around this school last year. To anyone else they would see it as cute or happy. Or maybe even feel slightly left out over the fact that no one was coming to them, but Justin certainly was different. The more they made friends with one another, the less he had to worry about them bothering him and that was just the way he liked it. Having finished eating enough of the tacky little foods they’d given out, he noticed the one who had been doing the same in their dress but didn’t do much else than give them a once over. He had just turned away when he took note of the girl hardly wearing the dressed for the party. Did this mean she was new too? She had to be. He would have remembered an embarrassment like her.

“It’s only the first day and already so many of you don’t know how to dress accordingly.” He spoke, saying it as though it were to himself though it certainly would have been loud enough for her to hear as well as the others around the table that may not have been dressed to fit the code. “It’s a shame really. An utter disappointment to this school. But then again, this disgraceful school probably invited you all in with welcoming hands. Probably to look good.” He chuckled to himself, turning away from the table and making his way to go and find a seat.

“Day by day, this school will go down until it’s nothing more than one of those unsightly public schools so many of these students should be at."

" Pretty prissy bitches." Thats what every single one of these females were that went to Kingsgrove Academy. She hardly fit in that category. She was underdressed, and she knew it, but she didn't really care. Not caring is so much easier than giving two shits about what others think. She hardly ever had any insecurities, except maybe a few pimples on her face or the stretch marks on her hips and even then you couldn't really tell that they were there. She'd beat herself up when she thought about it. She'd always call herself stupid for caring about such a small thing that shouldn't really have any value in her life.

"
Don't dwell on things. It's something you mostly likely can not change." Is what her mother would tell her.

Monroe took a step away from the corner, she was going to force herself to go socialize. She turned her head back to the food table. There were a few people standing there looking at wide selection of fancy foods.

"It’s only the first day and already so many of you don’t know how to dress accordingly. " is what she heard when she approached the food table. She bit her lip and furrow her eyebrows then she said " Maybe some people just dont care? Maybe some didn't have a choice of coming here in the first place"

Aiden - Ball Room - M: Mischievous, Curious

"Don't do this, Dorian!" The much smaller voice of the other male sounded. He immediately shrunk in a frightened state hearing the chuckle from the other student.

"Then don't be a pussy, Weisenberg."

Aiden Dorian pretty much thinks he is the Top Dog of the academy. He argues against the rules and won't follow anyone else's authority. Sometimes he usually pushes around the highly privaledged students because they deserve it. They deserve anything that's coming for them.

Like Weisenberg for example. He's one of the smartest and richest males here and he's only a Junior. Perfect for an advantage.

"I'm not going to cause a distraction for you. T-The headmistress will-"

"The headmistress can lick both of my perfect balls. Just get in there and do the plan...don't make me say it again." The nerd looked down beginning to second guess himself until he sees an evil grin upon Aiden's face. "Unless you want me to pull out...tax records."

"You...you wouldn't!" The junior looked mortified.

Aiden said nothing more and motioned his thumb at the backdoor entrance of the ballroom. Hesitantly, he stepped inside while Aiden made his way towards the normal entrance. Making his way inside of the building, he immediately hears the voice of the headmistress then rolled his eyes. Oh, he's heard this before. The Freshmen are probably pissing their pants right now.

Hearing a voice yelling 'She peed herself!' he turned around immediately with the erupt of laughter. Ugh, immaturity. Leaving the crowded area, this was a perfect time to maneuver his plan.

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_04/embed.php-16.png.bfcaaf4e6684f9de89e45efe3e9d3757.png" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="120014" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_04/embed.php-16.png.bfcaaf4e6684f9de89e45efe3e9d3757.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Justin stopped when he heard the voice of a girl, responding to him. His stormy face went slack for a few seconds before a small smirk came to his lips as he turned back around, letting his eyes zero in on the brave little soul who felt it was alright to respond to him.

“Oh dear me. Was that you who said it?” He asked, feigning shock and disappointment with himself as he began to walk her way. He knew exactly who this was. Monroe, the very girl he held a sliver of respect for. She was annoying, that was for sure but at least she knew how to speak up for herself. Even if it wasn’t the best back talk he’d been given.

“Did mommy and daddy force you to this school? Did you leave your best friends behind?” He mocked, dark eyes flickering with mischief. “Did you do something wrong where you came from? Were you a big disgrace? Had to leave and start new somewhere else? Where no one would know you?”

Justin stopped in front of Monroe and grinned, showing his pearly whites. “Too bad I really don’t give a fuck about your problems. So boo hoo to you Monroe. I suggest you suck it up like the rest of us who are here against our will and maybe add some class to your outfits while doing it. Because right now you sure don’t look like you belong here our among some of us. I’m sure me just
standing here and talking to you is bringing my own status down."

Aiden - Ball Room - M: Playful

Aiden made sure his vision was focused on Weisenberg when he shuffled his short frame behind the curtain. What a spineless little wimp. Suddenly, he overhears a famillar voice then turned his head before smirking at Justin and another female he wasn''t familiar with. Okay, either Justin is flirting or he's being a major bitch. Making his way over towards the two, he overhears the last sentences Justin said to the girl. Yep, being a bitch.

"Good evening, ladies." He smirked at both of them before reaching between them to grab a couple of those tiny sandwiches. "Having a girl talk?" He turned his head over to Justin as if he was making fun of him. This was a habit of course, but usually the other male goes along with it.

The familiar tone of certain someone pierced Justin’s ears as a scowl came to his face along with a small growl of annoyance. They flickered over to Aiden, giving him a once over as well and wrinkling his nose at the sight of the only one he could call something of a… ‘friend’.

“Hello Peter Pan.” He muttered, turning away from Monroe temporarily as he narrowed his eyes at the young man. “It’s far from a girl’s talk middle class wannabe. Simply letting her know about herself since you know, half of this school doesn’t seem to be able to comprehend just what a privilege they’ve been given at this disgrace of a school.” He said, glancing around before turning back to Aiden. “Why are you even here? Shouldn’t you be helping some damsel in distress? Pretending to be her knight in shining armor with money? Why bother me? I’m sure there are plenty of young ladies here ready for you to whisk them away into bed. Or maybe you’re waiting for the right guy? I won’t judge. Just don’t think it’ll be me. You’re far too below me to even have a sliver of a chance.”

Despite the tone of Justin’s voice being a mix of monotone and cold, he was sure Aiden would have been used to it. If anything, Justin had some respect for the fellow who’d jumped into the conversation. He always did. But even with respect he still hated the son of a bitch. So Aiden was only half way lucky. He got a mix of the old Justin as well as the new and to be quite honest? He was probably the only one who received any kind of warmth. Even if it wasn’t always easy to detect.

Monroe just kinda stood there while he flapped his mouth, talking to her about useless bullshit she didn't have anytime for. She'd known Justin for while but she never really talked to him like indepth. Justin obviously liked to hear his own voice and that is annoying. Monroe rolled her eyes and shifted her weight from one foot to the other.

"You came over to me. You didn't have to." he says nonchalantly while shrugging her shoulders.

Another male walks up. By the way Justin and him were talking it seemed to her like they were friends, or frenemies. She was leaning more towards frenemies. She turns her body to the new guy and introduces herself.

" Hi, I'm Monroe nice to meet you " She was at least going to try and be friendly, even though she wasn't one for making new friends. Its just hard for her because most people get on her nerves.

Kristi forced a smile. She was still nervous even though they seemed nice.

"Hah, thanks. Born and raised in Texas on a farm," she replied to Helena's comment. It appeared she was French, maybe? Her accent seemed heavy.

She then turned to Alexandre.

"Thanks for the welcome. I'm very nervous. I have never left the US. So being in another country is nerve racking, along with being in a school of people from all across the world."

She took out her phone and checked the time real quick. A picture of her farm met her eyes as she looked for the time written on top of the background of the screen.

Small talk, small talk. Think of what to ask? Hm.

"So where are you guys from? Do you do anything cool that may have helped you into the school?"

Kristi was still nervous. She didn't want to talk to people. She didn't think she could trust them. What if someone knew what happened with her and her Ex? The questions were endless, and only brought in more anxiety. But she was trying to make friends, even though she was scared to. She needed at least some friendly faces, as opposed to ones against her.

Alexandre considered the girl with the southern accent. She had a good eye for fashion, or at least as good as he felt could be expected for someone from the United States, but she was clearly uncomfortable being here. Alexandre might have been a little nervous his first time at Kingsgrove as well if he hadn't grown up in this exact sort of environment. To him a fancy ball full of important people wasn't much different from a trip to the beach with his friends. "You'll get used to it, I'm sure. Though I'm from Monaco myself, which is only a short drive or flight away, so perhaps my opinion isn't worth much. As for what helped me into Kingsgrove, I think it was all the money my father gave them."

Aiden - Ball Room - M: Somewhat Friendly

He continued to stuff his face with the delicious sandwiches. The headmistress always had good taste, but her perfectionist aura can be an extreme boner kill. Staring his hated companion in the eye, he replied swiftly letting Justin know that his words didn't sway him.

"I am here simply to do my job: fuck shit up. Now, as much I would love to being these lewd young ladies to bed, that'd be wrong wouldn't it? You're my bottom bitch after all, baby." Aiden smacked the other male's back with a loud thump. Turning his attention towards the lovely young lady, he smiles and nods.

"Nice name, I'm Aiden. This young lady next to me is Justin." He leans in closer towards her attempting to whisper. "Don't let him get to you, he still wets the bes at night."

@JujuBee @Kbunnyy

"Only to correct a silly girl such as yourself." Justin responded before letting his eyes drift back over to Aiden. A snarl escaped his lips at Aiden's words, his eyes darkening in response as he went frigid.

"Bottom? Please! If anything I'd be a top-" A hiss interrupted his reply when a wave a pain radiated through him from the starting point of where he'd been hit. His hand immediately went to the aching spot, caressing it gently as he shifted from one foot to the next, muttering angry curses under his breath as he did so. He huffed before growling.

"I do not you little shit!" He snapped at Aiden, punching him in the arm. The urge to pull Aiden to the ground and wrestle let alone pound away at his face was tempting but this was only day one. They could get physical at a later time. "This is all you're even good for! Telling these foolish lies! Is this how you keep yourself sane? Pretending that maybe you are better than everyone else when you're not?"

"Had to?" Alexandre asked curiously, turning to face Gerard. "I wouldn't have thought anyone would feel that way about attending Kingsgrove. People with a very singular eye for these types of things have called it the best academy in Europe." He drank some more of his lemonade. Alexandre wondered how people could be indifferent, or even angry, about attending this place when thousands of kids, or at least their parents, would do anything to get in. "New York is certainly unique, but things are quite nice here as well, so why do you say 'had to'?"

"Well I didn't mean it like that, but its a really good school and I was lucky enough to get a scholarship, its just I'd be leaving my friends behind and I'd only see them during the holidays, I never said this was a bad school, its just I really didn't have a choice because my mom had made an applicant for a scholarship and I got in, she's always wanted me to go to a nice private school anyway." Gerard spoke, they probably shouldn't had said 'had to', plus, they weren't exactly complaining, it was a really nice school! Plus they'd always wanted to live in a dormitory house like from Harry Potter. @Phobos

Kristi smiled at the well dressed young man named Alex. He seemed like he was a genuinely nice person to her. However, she knows everyone has their own secrets, and they aren't who they always seem to be. He told her how his father's money helped him in.

Should I or should I not tell them why I'm here? I know places outside the US aren't too friendly to the firearm culture of it, or really more accepting. Ah, screw it. This place has a range. And eventually someone would find out what I did to help me in here.

"Interestingly enough, I was given a scholarship grant by the United States Practical Shooting Association. I got into competitive shooting. I had got so good that the USPSA granted me a scholarship for schools that may help my academic and competitive shooting career. And they referred me to here. A girl from the South who grew up on a big farm ended up here. I never would have thought that years ago."

It was not long after finishing that another person came up to the group to talk. They said how they lived in New York.

"Never been to New York, but I hear it's really pretty, especially in upstate New York. New York City is certainly cool, but upstate New York is where are the country and farmland is. That's where I'm at home at, being a farm girl and all" she said to Gerard.

This is surprisingly easier than I expected. I thought people here would be stuck up jerks. So far, that isn't the case. Maybe this won't be so bad?

"You shoot?" Alexandre asked, his eyes lighting up with surprise and excitement. Despite what some of his fellow Europeans thought about them, he was all to aware that just as many Americans hated guns as loved them. In Monaco, getting a gun was fairly easy, and almost everyone there had at least one. When his father had introduced him to the sport he'd taken an immediate liking to it. "I've taken part in a few High Power Rifle competitions myself using my Lee–Enfield. What do you use?" While before he had mostly been doing his best to be polite, now he actually found himself interested in the conversation.

"Oh, I haven't seen upstate much, I live more in Brooklyn, where most of the city is and all that, but my mom has been there a lot, its just never struck my interest to go upstate." Gerard replied, taking another bite of the sandwich "How long does this party last?" They thought, checking their phone to see that Alice had texted them again.

From: ?alice in wonderland?

Ha, ha you're SOOO funny Gee, anyway, what're you wearing to the partay ;)

They grinned at the text, Alice was always kinda into fashion these days.

To: ?alice in wonderland?

i'll text you a picture in a bit.

Gerard pressed send, putting the phone back in their purse. "Hey I'll be right back I just gotta use the bathroom." They said, walking away from the group.

They made it to the bathroom, creaking the door open to check if anyone was inside. "Hello?" They said, their voice echoing through the stalls, they seemed to be alone, which was good because they didn't think other people would take it too well if there was a masculine looking person wearing a skirt and blouse in the mens bathroom.

They quickly fixed their hair, put on some pink lip gloss, re-did their eyeliner wings and putting on mascara. They took out their phone again, flipping the lockscreen up to take a picture, they stuck their tongue out in the mirror pressing the camera button.

They sent the picture to Alice, getting an almost instant reply back

From: ?alice in wonderland?

CUTE!!

They smiled at the text, switching their phone off yet again and stepping back out into the party. "Hey guys." Gerard said, walking up to the group of people they were recently talking with.

Alex responded by saying he had partaken in competitive shooting. Kristi was surprised. She worried that people not in the US would look at her funny for doing that. This made Kristi ease up a bit. He mentioned he shot something called a "Lee-Enfield" rifle. Kristi had heard the name, but wasn't familiar with the rifle.

"Really, you have done competitive shooting," she fired back with wide eyes and curiosity catching her interest. "I mostly do things like Three gun, which you have an AR-15, shotgun, and handgun, and different stations you used different guns for different targets. It's really adrenaline pumping. I also do other things, like pistol matches, rifle ones, and even tried cowboy action shooting a couple of times. But like I said, it is mainly three gun."

Wow, a guy here who actually shoots? I may have something in common with someone to bond over, if I choose so. What a relief. Maybe I won't feel like such an outcast then.

@Phobos

Helena listened to Alex and Kristi talk about guns and shook her head. "How you two are so facinated by noisu instruments of death like those I never understand."She commeted before smirking at Kristi."Well shouldn't be surprised with you, cow girl."She chuckled before turning to Gerald. "You will settle in and make friends here too, i am sure of it and you will be surprised from were too."

qyasjK1.jpg

"Okay. Okay. Okay, you can do this." Well, he can't, obviously. Chester tried making conversation, but somehow managed to fail wildly at that. Some handsome guy named Alex was there. There was the french girl, Helena, a girl? named Gerald, Hailey, the clumsy one, the southern belle, Kristi who apparently has a fascination for guns and shooting. That was interesting, also she seemed like a good person, and a honest one.

On the other hand, there was Monroe, the rebel with a strong voice and Justin, this guy who he really couldn't put a finger on. Something was up with him, but what exactly? He couldn't say. He wasn't a simple jerk, that's for sure. And then there was Aiden, equal parts charmer and asshole. People. People he was just painting in broad strokes, but hey, it's a freaking start.

He muttered "Damn, just let this party be over already" without realising he said it out loud. Just then, an altercation between Justin and Aiden caught his ear, and the words Justin said clearly indicated a deeper issue. But Monroe, the person who was caught in between all this looked quite uncomfortable. So, he decided to walk over there, while repeatedly telling himself "It's a bad idea, you don't know these people, don't do this!"

Having sufficiently looked around, Amira stood up straighter still, catching sight of a group forming not far from her. Perfect opportunity to get to know her peers; at least a few of them had to be worth talking to. This could be fun.

She walked over to the small group, fluffing her curls slightly, and stopped next to them. The conversation seemed to have begun; she should have come over earlier. Oh, well, she supposed it was never too late to introduce herself.

"I thought I'd come over and say hello," she said with a smile as she looked at each of them in turn, a slight Dutch accent audible in her words, "I'm Amira. Amira Klerksen."
