The Masked Maiden
( Just join in, I'm starting a random group roleplay cause I'm bored. Anyone can join, just make sure that it makes sense. )
The smell of rotten flesh and blood reeked in the underground room of the hotel as mildew practically filled the area. It was rarely ever used. The washing machine and dryer were broken, they had never been fixed. It was difficult to see, it is almost pitch black in the area, and none of the lights were on. Shattered glass was scattered across the floor, the only light being a pair of bright blue eyes staring in the direction of a woman stepping down the stairs, making her approach after the sound of tearing flesh and smacking of lips had fallen silent.
The eyes stared for a moment before they quickly vanished into the darkness, waiting for the woman to finally reach the floor before a dark figure ran up the staircase. It was rather short, seeming like an animal of some sort, but it was too difficult to see as quickly as it had gone, not wanting to be seen. A trail of blood leads up the staircase in the shape of paws.
Cracking of bones could be heard while the creature seemed to vanish, a door slamming shut, down the hall. Whatever had gone inside one of the hotel rooms had seemed to vanish. The room reeked of marijuana, a drug illegal in most countries unless prescribed for medical use. The lights were off, the room pitch black, and glass was scattered across the floor beside the nightstand due to a lamp that had been knocked over. The trashcan was filled with smoked joints and cigarette boxes. A glass filled with liquor with only a couple of sips left sat on the nightstand, waiting to be finished off.
