Infab
The Demon Fanatic
This is where players can post their characters, or character ideas, that they want to run by me. If I approve, I'll rate the post with a cookie! Easy, right?
Anyway, I'm gonna list some info below regarding the races that inhabit the realms of Hell, Heaven, and Purgatory (because we know what lurks in the mortal realm already.) They will be divided by their realms, and each race has its own neat quirks and abilities. Feel free to choose what you want! You can even play as a human if you want, either recently deceased or visiting from another universe!
HELL
Unaligned Demons
Unaligned demons are demons that live in Hell whom either have not chosen a Sin alignment from one of the Icons, were not born into an alignment, or are freshly converted Humans whom tried hard enough and achieved demonhood to escape their torture or servitude in Hell. Some humans are also turned into these of their own free will through demonic deals. Unaligned demons are fairly simple, as they basically just humans with odd colored skin and (usually) horns. There's really nothing special about them beyond them having the ability to move about Hell as they wished and venture to other realms. Its a rather mundane life, as most demons put it, as you lack the perks an aligned demon has. But you only owe the King of Hell your true allegiance.
Aligned Demons:
Aligned demons are those that have chosen to align themselves with a particular cardinal sin, or were born into their alignment. There are seven different types of aligned demons: Pride, Wrath, Envy, Lust, Greed, Gluttony, and Sloth. Each of these types of demons have an Icon that rules over them, whom answers to the King of Hell. To choose an alignment simply requires you to venture to the Icon of your chosen sin, and request to be made into a demon of that particular sin. The differences between aligned demons varies based on their sin alignment, and often aligned demons will find jobs and duties that follow along the path of their sin alignment. For example, Pride leads to corporate and political work. Lust leads to entertainment and the sex trade. Greed leads to banks and merchant work. Gluttony leads to the food industry. Wrath leads to some becoming athletes or soldiers. Some sin alignments can cross over into jobs of other alignments as well. You'll often see Greed and Pride demons working together in businesses. Lust and Envy mingle in the world of acting, with a sprinkle of Pride.
(If you need details on the traits of each type of aligned demon, just let me know.)
The Damned:
Humans whom were cast into Hell through a variety of means. Either divine punishment, deals gone bad (or completed deals), realm jumping without proper protection, the list goes on. They are usually used as a large workforce to keep Hell running, but a good chunk are also tortured as expected. Hell still has to do its job of punishing the wicked, of course. At least, that's what the Archangels say. Lucifer isn't around to correct them, and neither is the Divine One. Some Damned souls are able to break free of their shackles, either thanks to kind demons or through other circumstances. These freed Humans may travel Hell as they like (but not without some difficulty), or they may choose to become Unaligned or Aligned Demons.
Fallen Angels:
Angels that refuse to do the work of Heaven or disobey the will of the Archangels are often cast into Hell. These angels can often be found living out their long lives amongst the common demons of Hell, though they still stand out quite a bit due to their appearances and the blackened halo above their heads. They usually share mixed feelings about Heaven and the Divine One, most believing that the Divine One isn't coming back. They also often share the opinion that the Archangels are complete assholes, too.
HEAVEN
Angels:
The general workforce of of the heavenly plane, acting as servants, soldiers, workers, and so on. The divine caretakers of the blessed, making sure that their afterlives are as wonderful as they thought they would be. They are also the most overworked and stressed out beings in the heavens, as they are forced to work till everything is perfect in the eyes of the Archangels. Make the Archangels happy, and you make the Divine One happy. Wherever they are. Some of them have become quite jaded when it comes to the affairs of Heaven, and look for any kind of freedom they can get. Usually through work breaks or vacations. At least the Archangels allow those.
PURGATORY
The Reapers:
The Reapers of the Reaper Corps are the hands of Death, reaping the souls of the departed and bringing them to Purgatory to stay for a time until their judgement day. Then, said souls are sent to Heaven or Hell. The Reapers also act as a sort of police force, helping to maintain the boundaries between Heaven and Hell, as well as the power balance. Reapers utilize their 'scythes' for their work, which can actually be a variety of different things. All 'scythes' are bound to the Reaper they are assigned to after they complete their training, and cannot be used by another being. Upon a Reaper's retirement, their 'scythe' is unbound, and they may venture into the endless city of Purgatory to live a quiet, peaceful life.
Prospective Reapers are hand picked by Recruiter Reapers upon their death, based off information gathered from their previous lives. If the individual accepts the job oppertunity, they become Reapers-In-Training and begin to learn the trade. Once a trainee is ready, they go before the Board of Death to recieve their promotion, their 'scythe', and their opening assignments.
Investigation Reapers are Reapers that investigate activity that may affect the stability of Heaven, Hell, or the mortal realms. They look into activity, question and tail suspects, and gather information which they eventually hand over to Enforcement Reapers. Enforcement Reapers carry out the needed acts to 'correct things'.
That mostly covers things regarding the races, but if you have questions, feel free to ask! Also, the character sheet should probably resemble this for easy reading.

From the Infernal Universe?: Yes or No
The last question is mainly if you're bringing in a character from another universe or RP. Helps to figured out who's 'from the outside' as some demons and angels put it. If your character is a Demon, please pick what type. Aligned (with a selected sin alignment), or Unaligned. Same goes with Reaper.
