Fantasy In to the unknown

I just wanted to check if anyone would be interested in an RP where a group of explorers go to discover the wide world.


I really want to make a creative and unique world, I won't limit you to any specific races, but if you create a new one i'd like a brief explanation of how they look, what they're good at, their backstory and so on.


This starts of in an troubled kingdom that is in desperate need of breaking new ground, so a group of explorers are sent out on a ship towards a whole new world. Our character will never have met each other before this point, and nothing will be known about the land we're traveling to. We don't know anything about the Fauna or Flora nor what's edible or not. Here's basically what I imagine this new land may look like:

I want your ideas, should there be civilization or a harsh wilderness? Maybe remnants of a fallen civilization? Be creative!

A few scattered "towns" around the area...

A city that was destroyed by bandits as soon as the explorers arrive.

2 or 3 major cities, to keep the RP running by keeping the characters busy.

Sweet! I think there should be multiple races, but they should all be diffrent than the ones from our characters homeland. Maybe elves and gnomes or something? Not based on anything, those two just came to mind.

Elikon is a very cool name/word, so that's a race you want in the RP?


When I said clans I kind of meant tribal clans, unique and named with their own cultures and so on.

I'm currently writing with someone with something kinda similar to the fallen civilization thing where a group of aliens have fled their home planet and landed on a post-human Earth and have to survive/explore the remnants of civilization. So, I think a fallen civilization/harsh wilderness would be super cool as well! (:

I've realized people are thinking this might be a Skyrim-ish roleplay. That is up to the GM (@Under Dunder) to decide. I was only using screenshots from the game as a reference.

Sounds really cool I'm in! Just a question/suggestion, so you are going for a fantasy fee so maybe this "New World" could have some Fey like inhabitants.
