Snow: "I know... well.. my blood knows when I am in front of someone with great power that could destroy or save." She nearly choked on her words as she continued to clean him. How long had it been since she had spoken of herself... of her curse? "It lets me know that while yes you have been brutish to me... you could have also been deadly. You did not kill me. It would go against every fiber in my being to not give back kindness and respect to someone of power like that. My blood commands me into seeking out those who could protect me and it takes all my energy to run from them. So I have decided since you are most likely going to leave and I will not have to run from you... that I can give into my baser instincts and treat you with kindness in thanks for you not devouring me."

"Why do you run?" He asked, his head toward the forest. He didnt understand her at all, she would run from protection instead of staying with it. Usually that was what people did right? Relied on each other to protect one another? And she was so easily breakable, so why would she run from protection like that?

Snow: "I..." She stopped washing him, soaking the cloth in the water bucket and ringing it out, a tear escaping her eyes before she shut them tight, sniffing to get past that painful swell in her throat to cry. She pushed past and was soon able to breathe out, her expression completely blank. Nothingness. "I run because I don't want anyone else to die." Her voice a cracked whisper, "No one has ever been strong enough... and no one ever will be. So I run."

"Why arent they strong enough, what kills them?" He asked, turning his head slightly. What could be so dangerous? And why hasnt she been killed by this force if everyone else has?

Snow: "The people that hunt me. They killed my parents... and my love. The night of our wedding before... before we became one that is... it was an ambush. Slaughtered him. I ran... and I haven't stopped running." She sighed and looked away. "The lord of my land... he had his sorcerers bound my powers once they realized I was the one from their legends... The eyes gave it away. I just... if everyone who tried to save me dies... then I should be the only one allowed to save myself. It is the only way I will be able to live this very long life."

"If I am assuimg right, then everyone who has tried protecting you has been human. They havent had any powers like I do, or someone like that pest you hang around." He said. "But know this, if I see anybody threatening you, I will kill them"

Snow: She smiled softly and looked at Magnus. Nodding she finished wiping his face and snout of blood and nodded. "Thank you Magnus. You don't have too... I would be sad to see you killed for someone as inconsequential as me." She looked around. "I will probably return here after Garren has decided I am healed enough to not need his protection. I know you two do not like each other... I am sorry I force you to interact. I probably must return now. You have your frost lady to wait for right? She will be back soon correct?"

"You still have your whole life ahead of you, and I will protect it" He promised. He heard that she was leaving and stood up, "I can be of assistance as an escort" He said. When she asked about Niklaus, he didnt know what to say about it. "I dont know if I have her to wait for anymore" He said, a bit of sadness creeping into his voice.

Snow: She tilted her head and stood up as well, dusting off the leaves and grass from her frail frame. "I wouldn't mind an escort." She paused and patted him on the arm before retreating back within herself, nodding as she started walking in the direction she had come. "I know how painful it is loosing a loved one. I cannot tell you pleasantries about being sure she will return but... if you feel this emotional, and she does as well... and no one is dead... then there is always a chance. And that sentiment is rooted in fact, not hope."

Magnus followed her, keeping his nose out for any predators. She talked of emotions to him like he really wasnt a monster, like he was just like a being with feelings. He looked down at Snow, "You are a curious one indeed, but your words give me hope." He said. "If you ever need help, you have my aid" That was not words he said to many, in fact he's only said such things to her and Niklaus.

Snow: "It is my honor to give you any comforts I can Magnus. You helped me after all... even though I know you had a severe distaste in my weakness." She laughed a little, rubbing her arms under her long shirt, glad she was covered and her boniness was not exposed. She did not like it either, her weakness and frailty. "I am grateful for you pledge Magnus... but I will not ask you for aid." She said plainly. "You may be strong but everything one way or another can be destroyed. That is a lesson I know well."

"I would rather die protecting than die by revenge-seeking humans or divine" He growled. "And I realize your weakness may be your armor, which sounds very unlike me to say. But if you looked any stronger, some might challenge you"

Snow: She smiled, her eyes cold. "Yes. An armor indeed. I have a calling card that led me to be made completely defenseless. One drop of my blood... and I compel the powerful to protect me. But also by drinking it, they gain even more power... so why keep me alive? Oh wait that's right... because I can do nothing but give. They see me as no threat for I am no threat. I cannot harm those who take from me, instead it is as if I gift them! I give great gifts and grant power to all who steal from me." She was agitated, clenching her fists as her hair flashed white, her powers pushing but heavily sedated and restrained to only her blood. "They take my power till I have nothing left... But I still have my will to live. They cannot take that." She whispered, her cold outer shell finally broken as her small frame shook in choked up and swallowed sobs. She hated crying. It burned her eyes and made her nose run. The pain in her throat from holding it back was better then that wetness that would stain her cheeks and get on her tongue with it's salty bite.

Magnus was taken aback by her sudden change, listening to her speak with anger and agitation. He has never seen her agitated before, not that he remembered anyway. He did have a question though, "Why cant your power fully make itself known? As in turn your human body into something much more strong to protect itself?" He asked. He could smell a type of emotion on her, was it sadness? He was terrible at comforting, which he felt bad for since she had comforted him. What should he say? What should he do?

After an ardent discussion that seems to last for hours but really only made it to the 45 minute mark, Tallah had finally worked the elders through their indignation and onward towards reasoning.

"I have heard your numerous complaints and grievances, but this decision is mine to make and it has already been made. The meeting was nothing more than a respectful courtesy. Once I have found the new Voice, you will not have with me, and neither will I, you. This meeting is adjourned please leave as quickly as you are able." Tallah's eyes flashed silver as the mystic doors slammed open with a finality that could not be argued. Clasping his hands and giving a large exhale, Tallah waited til the last elder, door, and throne had disappeared before turning back into the cottage to collect Mac.

"Mac I would so enjoy spending alone time with you, but perhaps we should receive the information our guests have for us and send them on their way, if that be their path." Tallah knelt by the couch and stroked Mac's face softly to catch his attention. The elf also surreptitiously cast a healing spell on the large man to help him pull himself together.

Snow: "They took that from me. When I was born they saw my eyes and knew who I was from all of the lore of my people. Bia, the goddess of power is the goddess my people worship. It is said a babe with eyes of roses blood and hair of winter snow will be blessed by the spirit of her. That she will walk among the people, a being that is the representation of power and strength. She will have the honorable and horrible task of giving the power back to those who have had it stripped from them."  She laughed, pulling at her blonde hair that turned white and her eyes which she knew Magnus had seen turn blood red. Already they were pink... unnatural.

"The lord of our land feared this story... When he found out a babe had been born with rose blood eyes... The lord came and had the sorcerer lock my power away inside of me. They rendered me a tool only able to give the power she gives me. Wanted to use me to give himself and his army enough power to rule for all his life. Locked away inside of my blood she keeps giving me power, singing and calling and looking for powerful people who she has blessed... but I can't use any of it. I am simply locked into the human form that will never die unless my blood is drained. Every last drop..." Laughter spilled from her lips before she managed controlling herself, hiding and locking everything back inside. Shrugging, she looked at the forest as they continued their walk.

"So here I am. The great incarnation of Bia in the form of a small human girl who has found fond and good company in that of a croc beast, on her way to finish being healed by a small elf with great power because of the orders given by a dashing dastardly traveler with great powers that could find and capture me anytime he pleases. What a tale this one seems to be turning out to be." She let her lips curl up into a smile.

Magnus wasnt sure what to say about her whole life story, he just thought it shouldnt be something someone so small should go through. Instead, he commented on the last part. "Life has its way of bringing the weirdest scenarios together" He said.

Lyla was just walking up in some bed, she didnt know who's but all she knew was she was bone tired after her bath. So she promptly found a place to fall asleep. She didnt even get dressed, she was just in a towel at the moment. "Ugh, seriously? Now I gotta get up and get dressed" She muttered, standing up slowly so she didnt get fuzzies in her eyes and headed for her bag. Once she found clothes, she got dressed, and headed to the main part of the cottage with one of her shoes in hand. "What I miss?" She asked no nobody in particular, mostly herself. "Shoot dangit, I forgot to put on my other shoe" She growled to herself, about to turn around to get it before looking at her hand with the shoe in it. "Oh, nevermind. There it is"

Snow: She laughed, nodding as they continued to walk. "Yes it does... yes it does." She bit her lip as her muscles strained again, the burn returning and she paused a little, looking at Magnus. "You won't... you won't tell anyone about my past right? I... I am afraid of my location spreading on the wings of gossip right to my lord's ear." She bit her lip, continuing their walk, knowing it had taken her awhile to get to the village from the house. But she would rather walk double the miles then ask Garren for help when he clearly did not like her new friend Magnus.

"Dont worry, I'm not the one to tell anyone anything" He said. "I said I'd protect you didnt I?" He was basically being bodyguard, which he really did not mind. A child's life was one to protect with his life. "Are you getting tired of walking?" He asked, knowing how small she was and not knowing how much energy she might have.

Snow: "The starvation ate away at my muscle tissue. I am always tired of walking. I constantly want to sit and sleep and eat... but I must be able to ignore my limbs pain for as long as I can. Otherwise I won't be able to run when the time comes." She looked at him and shrugged, her breath ragged as she trekked on.

Magnus tilted his head, then picked her up and put her on his back. Much like how he did when they first met. "If you are that hungry, I can always find food for you" He said.

Snow: She frowned, but held on anyways to his form, resting her head on his scaly shoulder. "I don't need food. They will feed me magic I am sure when we get back... make sure I'm in tip top shape before sending me on my way." She paused and squeezed his back a little in a hug. "Thank you... I know... I know you cannot harm children, but you do not have to help me this much the way you are."

Magnus gave a small croc-y grin, "I used to think that part of me was just a weakness. But I am glad I have it now, I'm glad I will never hurt a child" He said. "And I will help as much as I can, its the least I could do"

Snow: "I don't think there is anything about you that is weak Magnus." She whispered, looking at the forest as they walked with now Magnus's fast and long strides. "How far do you think we are now? From the healer's house I mean?" Her mind raced at the thought of seeing Garren again. He seemed to be the only being that truly scared her and made her uneasy. Even this giant croc beast did not make her heart race in agitation and nerves as he did.
