"Are you sure that you are alright?" Tallah fussed over Mac, checking his temperature and pulse. "I can cast a healing spell if you'd like." He knew that he'd shown Mac a side of himself that he was sure the larger man hand underestimated, but he really didn't feel like talking about any of that with the elders hanging around. He also couldn't afford to let them see Mac having a panic attack.

(I be going to bed)

Magnus lifted his head up into the air to swallow the arm better, his teeth grinding bones into dust and flesh into little chunks. He swallowed and he looked down at Snow, then stood back up. He knew all of his actions to protect a child were not of his own doing, not on purpose anyway. But did he honestly hate it? No, he would much rather protect than hurt a child. He licked his snout of some of the blood, before noticing she was completely healed. So, she does use some of her divine power? Interesting.

((Goddamnit I decide t take a break from watching over the site like a hawk and y'all asses decide to wake up...))

"Elders I have called you to address a pressing matter. Please, sit and rest a moment while I calm my... boyfriend." Tallah was puzzled at how to refer to Mac, but he smiled as he found a title that felt right. The elders nodded to Tallah and sat, waiting. The summoning complete, the glowing doors faded and Tallah's eyes were golden honey again.

"Mac, calm down. I am calling a council meeting to tell them that I plan to actively search for the new Voice. They'll raise an alarm because I will have to leave the forest, but they'll be glad to see a "safer" elf take the mantle." Tallah  turned and placated the large man with a comforting hand on his arm. He then noticed that though Mac was wearing a towel, it did nothing to conceal his sizable modesty, and that the gathered elders noticed Mac's "physique" as well as his "physique". Tallah wasn't equipped with any telepathy spells, but he could literally hear their thoughts; none of them were decent, and a few of them were surprising realizing that some of the elders were "happily" married.

Fiercely possessive as always, Tallah snapped his fingers and Mac was now perfectly dry and fully dressed. This obscured his features, even if it wasn't enough to completely negate Mac's sex appeal.

"Maybe you'd just like to wait inside." Tallah placed himself firmly between Mac and the elders, shielding him form their wizened, but no less capable, eyes.

Garren temporarily zoned out at the memories of his lecherous night with the aforementioned queen. He snapped back to reality as Magnus charged Snow, and was fully prepared to place a portal between them, but didn't need to as the monster croc didn't even get close to her before crunching down on a corpse. Seems like Maggy has a soft spot for Snowflake. He noted sneakily. What really interested him was the way Snow's body reacted to the threat, and her blood. She was not a normal girl, and the way her blood shined was fascinating. He'd have to ask Tallah if he'd heard of anything like it.

"Alright Maggy, enough terrifying my little Snowflake. Now, I get to speak." Garren held out his arms and caught Snow as she fell through a portal. He pouted, feeling left out.

" First Snowflake, I had to take the queen's chastity. It was the only way for her to escape being married to a tyrant and giving birth to an even worse tyrant. Her and her husband are actually very happy together guarding an ancient shrine with their many children." He smiled softly as Snow before his face grew hardened and serious, a look that was solely for Magnus. The bright cerulean of Garren's swirling eyes darkened to a dangerous midnight blue.

"Second Magnus, I disparage your eating habits because they are sloppy and detrimental. You do not even act like a true croco-gator; you are slaughtering these people to suite some childish need to dominate. I question whatever I wish whenever I wish, but that I will judge harshly. As Snow said, there are countless people who are much more guilty of evils than the entirety of this village. I suggest you learn to differentiate between them or I will need to get involved, and unlike Tallah I have no patience for overgrown children who've never heard the word "no"; it is just another form of stagnation. Learn to adapt to the flow of this world's whims or be taken under by the currents and die." The swirling darkness of Garren's eyes flashed pure black to emphasize his point before lightening and shifting to fuchsia as he smiled down at Snow again.

@Jennete @SnugglyKnight

Snow: "I am not a snowflake." She frowned at the nickname and wriggled a bit in his arms. He seemed to always make those portals of his to put her right smack dab in his arms again. Though she would be lying if she told herself she was not relieved about having Garren's protection. Her eyes went to Magnus, biting her lip a bit. She did not feel comfortable with sitting silent as he was chastised for his... extreme behavior. "Don't call him an overgrown child Garren. He... he has spared my life twice now." She whispered, her hands shakily reaching up to pull a bit of gore and bone from her hair as Magnus swallowed the arm. She could not find any anger for the beast... he was who he was. Sure she didn't agree... but she didn't want to be involved in the argument. Her eyes peered up as Garren looked back down at her with his smile. She chewed on her lip before turning her pink red eyes away from his. Got under her skin this one. But a light smug smile touched her lips as she thought to herself how he never seemed to find her clean in anyway when in his arms. Either covered in sweat and dirt or blood and gore. Surely that had to peeve him? It gave her just a drop of satisfaction thinking she had peeved him.

((Snow never considered the fact that Garren may like dirty girls.))

Garren ignored Snow protest about her name, her struggling to free herself, and the blood she was smearing all over him. "I didn't call him a child. I just said his behavior was like that of a child. Now he's got you even filthier than you already were. I guess I'll just have to give you a bath when we get back home." What had started o"ut as a pout turned into a self satisfied smile as he teased Snow. "I have make sure you're squeaky clean."

@Jennete

(hahaha Their interactions always crack me up.)

Snow: Her smile was instantly turned into a look of surprise and disappointment when he began to get all smiles and tease's. She sighed and pouted as she crossed her arms in a huff. "Lyla bathed me already. I can bathe myself Garren. And your words are highly inappropriate. You cannot give me a bath... that...that is just insane." She blushed, unable to help herself. She always blushed when she was forced to think or talk about inappropriate deeds. "You are insane!" She said, turning her gaze to him, her brows furrowed.

"Are you sure that you are alright?" Tallah fussed over Mac, checking his temperature and pulse. "I can cast a healing spell if you'd like." @Safety Hammer

"Maybe some carbonated water. My head just hurts." Mac whined, kicking off his boots, as well as his jacket. After he got comfortable on the sofa, he chuckled. "You're just chock full of surprises, aren't you, Tallah?" He asked with a smile, before gently kissing him.

"I love you, Tallah."

((Ikr. it's hilarious))

"I don't ever recall representing myself as perfectly sane anyway. Besides how can I be sure that you won't try to escape unless I have my eye on you at all times? When we get home you're getting that bath, and I'm getting a slippery and wet Snow to hold for a change." There was a frightening cheerful glint in Garren's now rose pink eyes. "Or maybe "squeaky and clean" is more apt since you are already covered in fresh blood, which is plenty slippery and wet." Garren rambled off as he thought about the interesting conundrum.

@Jennete

Tallah had ushered Mac into the cottage, mentally placing Mac's boots under the window and his his coat on the rack.

"Honestly, I am a bit lacking in the surprises department. Every surprise you have had since coming here has been close to the grand total of all the surprises I have. They also are not common, in the least." Tallah called for a bottle of Mac's requested drink and a cup. He sat on the arm of the sofa playing with Mac's hair and kissing him back.

"I love you too. I am sorry that everything has been so turbulent recently. I am sure things will begin to smooth out... eventually." Tallah poured Mac a cup of the fizzy water and handed it to him.

@Safety Hammer

Magnus would have gotten very pissed off at Garren for everything he said if he wasnt so engrossed in eating at the moment. But he was still listening to their conversation and a growl rose in his throat and he stood, turning toward Garren and Snow. "She says she can bathe herself, she doesnt need the creep there every step of the way" He snapped. Magnus's protectiveness made itself known. (AKA dad-ittude)

Snow: "You will not bathe me! And if I did escape you would simply find me again as you do every time." She shrieked in indignation, blushing at his imagery of holding her right out of the bath. She looked toward Magnus for help, hope soaring at his snapping. Perhaps he could make Garren see sense. "He is right that I do not need you every step Garren. Please just put me down already. I can stand you know?" She pushed at his chest, attempting to stand. "I am covered in blood Garren, and even if you are insane, you shouldn't hold me. I am getting it all over you."

"Hey, when you're finished, can we cuddle?" Mac asked, gently sipping on his drink. "I'm just kinda spent by all of this, and I need some time to simmer down before the I start this bounty.

"That may be the case, but the only creep here is the only currently chomping down on a human heart." Garren said pointedly at the feasting crocodile. Before Snow began to rebel again.

"Oh please Snow. You aren't the first the first girl to get blood on me, and you definitely won't be the last. Though I admit the circumstances are usually more... joyous." Once again Garren grinned, except this time he was remembering the times he's had to help pregnant women deliver babies, not anything lewd. He set Snow down, though he kept a loose arm around her shoulders.

Snow: She frowned before seeing his thoughts on the babies and her expression softened. "I hope it is not the last if they need you." Her eyes widened and she quickly looked away, standing now giving her a sense of independence. She pulled out of Garren's arms and bit her lip. "I am going to search these homes. This might be a place I can rest at once Tallah and yourself Garren finally decide to let your 'snowflake' go." She smiled, her stance lightening as she walked off to the house nearest them. An empty ghost town drenched in gore would keep away most people. A perfect place for her to live in solitude.

Magnus tilted his head, not understand why Garren called him the creep for just eating. "I think you are the real creep here, the definition of stalker" He growled. "I'm just eating what I see fit, nothing creepy about that"

Garren was shocked as he realized that Snow had seen into his mind, but recovered quickly enough for it to go unnoticed. He watched her walk off a bit with a strange look in his sea green eyes before turning back to the croco-gator.

"You do realize that not one minute ago you were trying to eat the poor girl right? You are definitely a creep though, not remotely close to the typical attitude of crocodiles or alligators. For all their vicious power, both are surprisingly calm and patient creatures who eschew unnecessary movements and actions, yet you run around causing troubles however you see fit. You choose to eat people, weak people, because it is convenient not because you have no other choice. I challenge you to say that I have some ulterior motive for doing the things that I do. I never portrayed myself to anyone as anything but who I am." Garren's eyes shifted to blood orange.

"Besides all that imagine if you had a brother and you saw me rip him open, put him on a spit, and proceed to gorge myself on his misery. Actually, are you even capable of manlike compassion?"

@Jennete @SnugglyKnight

Snow: She ignored both's arguing as she searched the small house. It was simple in design. Two rooms, dirt floor, clay oven. She nodded and went into the other room. There were two pallets on the floor of animal skins and wool blankets. Blood covered one where a mans form was barely distinguishable. She could clean that out and this would be a nice home. Perfect for herself to live alone. She saw a back entrance and left, looking out at the forest. Garren and Magnus's voices were barely audible and she bit her lip, the urge to run taking over. Her thoughts went back to the home she and... No. No thinking of him. She turned around, wiping tears from her face as she shivered and took in a shaky breath. Nodding she headed over to the bucket by the side of the house filled with a rough looking bristled brush and soapy water. Kneeling beside it she dunk her head in and scrubbed at her hair, the water running red. She stood, draining out her hair before wiping at her skin that she could see, cleaning herself off so Garren would not push the bath issue any further.

"You live your life, let me live mine!" He snapped. He didnt know any other response to what Garren said about him not being a real crocodile or alligator. Whatever, the guy was an annoying pest anyway. "If I had a brother I would have killed him myself along with my village" He added with a growl. He didnt answer the last question.

'Well that certainly answers my question. You don't carry the dignity of your form. You are no beast; you are a monster. Expect me to treat you as such when next we meet. Stay away from Snow, if you know whats good for you." For Garren, who was an only child, all family was to be cherished, and Magnus had disappointed him in more ways than one. Eyes swirling with volatile energies and a dark expression on his face, Garren portaled swiftly to Snows's side.

"I'm leaving now. When you want to go back home and eat, just call me; I'll be listening for you. Don't get too comfortable around that poor excuse for a crocodile, alright? He may have spared you twice but he is more than often mindless, and mindless creatures have no allegiances." He spoke harshly and didn't even wait for Snow respond before he was gone in a loud inward whumph of air.

Magnus snarled, Garren had just told him what he already knew. His tail hit the ground in his anger, putting his nose to the air and sniffed out Snow. He walked over to her, his gate not threatening. Garren could threaten him all he wanted, Magnus didnt care. He sat down near Snow, keeping watch in case any predator that may or may not be attracted by the blood found her. He didnt say anything, licking some blood from his shoulder. Hmph, mindless was he? .... More than he knew.

Snow: "Okay Garren." She said softly, her face twisted in sadness. Never had she seen him so agitated... But she did not agree with him. Magnus was not mindless. Looking over her shoulder, her eyes saw Magnus. Garren's words rang in her ears but... she knew Magnus would not harm her. She had seen inside of his mind. He could not hurt her. For now at least. She went over to him, her steps small as she sat down beside him, staring at the forest. "Do... do you need some water to clean the blood from your scales?" She asked softly, her gaze lowered so as not to offend the powerful beast besides her. She just wanted to help. She tried to keep everyone at bay... but she knew that those who held your life in their hands and spared you deserved respect.

Magnus looked at her, then shook his head. "Use the water for yourself" He said, his tail still and limp on the ground. He didnt understand why Snow was always so nice to him, he had been horrid toward her even if he had spared her life. Perhaps he should return the kindness, after all it wouldnt hurt anyone. The only ones who had been nice to him were Niklaus and Snow, and he was unsure of where Niklaus was.

Snow: "I already cleaned myself..." She said, looking up and meeting his gaze before casting hers back to the ground. She started to move slowly. getting to her knees before taking the washcloth and ringing it out in her hands before wiping the blood from his shoulder. She was fine in silence. Talking, a luxury she had given up in her many miles journeyed alone.

Magnus did nothing offensive when she wiped the blood off, instead he talked. "Thanks" He said, but continued. "I do not understand, why do you choose to be kind when I have been so brutish towards you?" He asked.

Snow: "I know... well.. my blood knows when I am in front of someone with great power that could destroy or save." She nearly choked on her words as she continued to clean him. How long had it been since she had spoken of herself... of her curse? "It lets me know that while yes you have been brutish to me... you could have also been deadly. You did not kill me. It would go against every fiber in my being to not give back kindness and respect to someone of power like that. My blood commands me into seeking out those who could protect me and it takes all my energy to run from them. So I have decided since you are most likely going to leave and I will not have to run from you... that I can give into my baser instincts and treat you with kindness in thanks for you not devouring me."
