Endless Dreams
The idea of a mix of science fiction and fantasy occurred to me a few days ago. While species, inhuman creatures, contain supernatural or magic powers, humans have developed such advanced technology that they could rival it.
In a world when humans are infected by a bacteria caused by the Species, the deadly disease that could only hurt humans caused great chaos and dangers to the human society. Species, who did not mean to hurt the humans with their bacteria but could not avoid so, became targets to the human society, to whom Hunters are out to kill, capture, and hunt for any Species located, since there is no cure or way to stop the disease except the whole elimination of the Species race.
However, the Species had long lost lands for them to inhabit, so the only land left for them to live in is the land in which humans walk on. Fighting for their survival to live on the only land they have left, while Humans also fight to end the spread of the deadly disease, a strong rivalry happened between humans and Species.
With high technology that enables the humans to fight against the Species, and Species having their usual super or magic powers to fight back, humans and species remain the greatest enemies to each other. Now is when your role enters-you can be a human, a Hunter, to go against the Species, or you can be a Species, going against the humans. What could possibly develop from this strong rivalry?!
In the city of Castille, the story will develop. You may not neccessarily be a Hunter of fighting Species, you can remain a regular citizen or a Species living in hiding or peacefully mingle with the human world(hiding their identity of course.) Yet, beware that the infected from the disease would become wild, violent beings that could infect another through injuries or by fluid means. Also beware you might always be possible to be attacked, by Species or by Hunters, depending on what side you're on!
